Not sure if I want to give this one or two stars. It didn't really leave much of an impression on me. I thought the heroine was fun, but the company she starts seemed kind of sketchy, and I wasn't necessarily sure she'd end up with Zack. I mean, she had that friendly banter relationship with Ben at the beginning and that blew up. And I was hoping for more graphic stuff. I actually bought this out of the "graphic novel" section, and it really doesn't belong there. It's mostly text with a few cartoons thrown in.

This was overall a fun read. The main character has her flaws but handles most of what is thrown at her well. The comic book angle was a nice touch, but I wish they would of had all of the comics drawn out, as some of them are only described. As a brain candy/fun read, I could have done without the forced drama of the father's illness. I also felt like their were some loose ends relative to her friendship with Ben.

I would give it a 4.5 stars. It was refreshingly witty and sweet. I enjoyed the environmental connection from TREE and a kick ass-comic heroine only sweetens the deal.

Not high literature, but I throughly enjoyed every minute! Strong female character? Excellent!
