3/5 stars.I gave it three stars as I thought some of the writing was tediously slow. I enjoyed Bernice, Jason's chapters and the parts that Braxiatel showed up but I thought Bev and Adrian's chapter was very slow and hard to get into and very repetitive though understanding the circumstances Bev and Adrian were in, it had to be repetitive.Which was a shame as I really enjoy Bev and Adrian's characters and it would have been nice to see them more developing as soon after the Occupation of the Fifth Axis had left. I just found their story too slow for pacing for my liking.Bernice chapter on the other hand, was excellent. I have no interest in feminism myself but I loved the way she was defending these women on this planet who were so badly treated by the men and the fact she married a princess and slayed a dragon was fantastic. And for Jason Kane; although he is not my most favourite character in the Benny series, I have a soft spot for anything pirates so of course I knew i was going to immensely enjoy this chapter and it did not disappoint. Jason annotations throughout the chapter were hilarious, especially when Benny was choking on peanuts. Overall, enjoyable but slow read.
