Of the three books in the Inevitable Trilogy, Incredible was my least favorite. If 3 and one half stars was available that would be the rating I would have given this book. My problem with this final installment is that the plot was too convoluted at times and I did not feel that Nate received his just rewards in the end.The storyline for Incredible begins within days of the second book, Impossible. Apoxy is in the hospital aging quickly and has been determined to need hospice care until she passes away from natural causes. Before this happens many secrets are reveal to both Nathan and Cam. Eve is not done with torturing them and she wants them to know every single detail.Eve manages to merge two world together; one that includes Nathan and Cam and another inclusive of Nate and Cammie. This is where things began getting quite convoluted. The merging of these worlds at time felt like an opportunity to stretch out the length of the book by repeating events from previous books. It just didn't work too well for me. Additionally, the contrast between the characters (Nathan vs. Nate, and Cammie vs. Cam) diluted the beauty of the earlier storyline.Don't get me wrong Incredible was a good read; just not as good as the previous two books. Also, I would not recommend that someone read this book without reading the other two books first because they would be completely lost.
Like many others who started this series, I was trying to find more from Amanda Hocking. So glad I stumbled upon this trilogy in my search. The subject is unique and Jason has a way of drawing you into the story so you begin to feel the emotions of his characters. In each book I found places that made me laugh out loud and also shed a few tears.Although there were places where I got really frustrated with the actions of some of the characters and some of the loose ends seemed to be tied up a little too neatly by the end, it was a series that was well worth reading. If you start with Inevitable, you will definitely want to continue with the rest. You won't be sorry and you will walk away happy that you took the time to get to know Apoxy, Nathan and Cammie.
WOW!!! THIS BOOK IS EXACTLY LIKE THE TITLE INCREDIBLE.. AS THE 3RD AND FINAL BOOK IN THIS TRILOGY I THOUGHT IT WAS REALLY GREAT THERE WERE TWISTS AND TURNS EVERY WHICH WAY AND YOU NEVER KNEW WHAT TO EXPECT NEXT. EVE FROM INFINITY HAS TOYED WITH NATHAN AND CAM FOR THE LAST TIME AND BY THE END OF THE STORY GETS HER JUST REWARD. I WAS ALSO VERY HAPPY THAT IT WORKED OUT WITH NATHAN AND APOXY. IT WAS A LITTLE HARD TO FOLLW AT THE END THOUGH WITH THE MERGING OF THE TWO WORLDS AND YOU WERE TRYING TO FOLLOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN NATHAN AND NATE, CAM AND CAMMIE. BUT ONCE YOU SLOWED DOWN AND FOLLOWED THE WORDS IT WASNT TO BAD. I GAVE THIS BOOK AND THE TRILOGY 5 STARS IT WAS DEFINITLY DIFFERENT THAN OTHER PARANORMAL SERIES I HAVE READ BEFORE. SO CURL UP PAY ATTENTION AND ENJOY. HAPPY READING =)
The story was ok, but I got the impression, as the story needed to end in this last book, everything was very quick written. A lot of information well-packed in one book. I liked the travelling in the parallel universes, but you have to keep your head straight to know who you are reading about. Why is Eve so set on Nathan? Will Apoxy and Nathan finally be reunited? And what about Cammie or Cam? Was it Nathan or is it Nate? Everything will enfold in this last book of the Inevitable trilogy.
This book was simply incredible. I loved it. It had a very good ending. A must read.
Couldnt put it down. Great ending to a good story.
This was an awesome end to the trilogy. Loved it completely!!!
an ok trilogy -- doubt I'll read any of his other titles
