I'm a huge fan of this series and I love this Author, her books are a "Must buy" for me.I'm afraid in this case, this is the sequel that I like the least, and I think the reason for that is that I didn't like characters at all, I didn't like Agent Monroe, he was just a prick, Raven was a wimp, and Logan? well, Logan was the best of the three but not for much either.Even though I didn't like this sequel, I will be waiting for the next book this author write and buy it on the spot.

2.5 maybe 3 - This was my least fav in this series.I didn't like Tony (Agent Monroe) at all. He was an prick.Hopefully the next will back on track like the beginning ones, where the guys have more chemistry together.

The stories from Lynn Hagen's series is always pretty engaging. I like the characters, they are a lively bunch. Funny banter and all that. The author has created such an interesting paranormal world that interlinks between her series. This one is no difference, it was linked to her Demon Warriors series. We will get cameos from Panahasi the demon warrior leader himself and also one of his warriors. As most already know, Zeus's Pack series is all about menages. All of the pack members has 2 mates each. What is interesting is the varieties of the mates. It ranges from human, vampire, demon and some of them even comes in different breed of shifters. In this installment, a new breed of supernatural being was introduced and one of them is the new found mate of the Zeus's pack. Rave the wolf shifter in Zeus's command has to help his new mate reign in his budding supernatural power while trying to get to know his other mate Tony who has excess baggage of his own. It does seems like everyone in this series has excess baggage to deal with, it's the theme of this series really. Basically the formula in this series is... Menage + Supernatural Mates + Supernatural Crisis + Excess Baggage = Eventual HEAAlthough the theme might have been tad bit predictive, I still find it an entertaining read. Plus, I really liked the complex supernatural world built by Ms. Hagen and how the characters from each installments and series intermingles. It's wonder how the author manages to keep track of them all.

Styre mente, what a joke. It was ment to be some special mind raping being introduced to us for the first time, like it's something amazing, albeit very rare the vampires can mind rape someone just as easily without consequences like fatigue or headaches, maybe not all of them but Christian could, as well as the ancient ones and probably the elders. And besides, if they're so rare, how did Max know what the blood markers meant? It's not like there should be an established blood work for that extra special species considering they're probably born like once every millennium and I'm pretty sure that a thousand years ago no one was archiving blood work for future reference, even in a supernatural world. So many things wrong with this book. Aba is a soulless killing machine with mind control powers, he has Tony in his grasp and let's him go; there really was no reason whatsoever for him to do that if he's so evil and his big plus is that he can make it look like a suicide without leaving any forensic evidence behind. If I were evil and wanted to defend myself I would've gotten rid of the threat first chance I get, permanently (although this was later addressed it was never completely answered). The author changed the story about how to kill hell hounds as well. In Nazaryth's book you needed to stab them them behind left ear to kill them and then to get rid of the body you set them on fire and they burn away in seconds, in this one you had to do both to kill them. And I don't get how at least Tony didn't acquire at least silver bullets or some other weapons for fighting preternatural creatures since he's somewhat knowledgeable about that world. SMH...

Well, I delved into the Bracverse a 2nd time and now there are 121 books - yikes! I loved this Universe the first time I read it several years ago and now I love it more, I really do, but I've only been able to read these series (and I have expanded to all the books that are currently out in each):Brac PackChristian's CovenZeus's PackDemon WarriorsThe ExiledThese are the series that start the Universe. Reading them in order is a must. Each book has it's own love story but there is an underlying story that plays out throughout them all. As you get towards the end of these series, other series come into play and I noticed that, since I did not read them, I missed some of the characters being mentioned (good and bad) but I was still able to follow because the main ones stay the same. One day I WILL buy these and read them all!!! (For the correct order, just look on the Internet for Lynn Hagen Reading Order):Brac VillageShadow TribeBPNG (Brac Pack Next Generation - Brac Pack kids)The Remus BrothersWolves of Desire

This was absolutely awesome. Rave (wolf), Tony, and Logan are mates with so many problems ahead of them and a betrayal where Logan is involved. I love how the three of them learned that they were mates, or more so how Rave told both Logan and Tony. The diner that they were in had to be cleared out so their conversation wouldn't be heard, since there were also a few humans in the room. All three of them had pretty strong personalities but with communication they came to understand each other. There was plenty of excitement and new creatures. Sometimes though, when there was trouble at the home of Zeus, I would wonder where the other warriors were since there's so many of them but they never seemed to be around to help when a wolf howled. Otherwise, I loved this book which started with a bang (it really did) :D, and totally kept me absorbed into their world. Excellent. :)

I absolutely love the world Lynn Hagen has created with Brac Pack and all connecting series such as this one. I wish I could live there haha. *****Possible SPOILERS******Now this book was really good. Just like all the rest, and I'd been waiting for it since we got a glimpse of Tony and Rave in the past book. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that Tony was actually part shifter. And I was sad to find out he couldn't shift *sad face*. I like how we get small peaks at the characters from the other series (i.e. Dog the winged beast, Panahasi and Einarr the demons). Each book just pulls me in and I can't wait to read the next one!The only thing I wish would have happened in this book was Logan using his mind powers to coax out Tony's jaguar and allow him to shift. Or at least grow his canines for the claiming. I don't see why something like that couldn't happen. I kept waiting for it...it would give both Tony and Logan peace of mind. Tony's because he could claim his mates, and Logan's because he would be using his powers to help his mate, which I think would better allow him to accept the power within him. But that's just my opinion.

2012 Review:Definitely one of the better instalments in this never-ending saga.I did not like Tony at all, and Rave and Logan were okay, but I did enjoy the premise.Too often certain beings (such as vampires, usually) have mind control in an off-handed way that is not really looked into, as far as the ramifications are concerned. In this case the full scope of what it means to have total mind control is acknowledged and the story itself is actually not that bad, even if the romance kind of sucks. So yeah. That was my brain fluff for the day.

I'm kind of divided about this book, I think. Personality-wise, I like both Rave and Tony (They're just amusing--Logan has his work cut out for him, for sure, just dealing with them). But I felt that Styre Mente got a bad rap, sort of. I mean, I get it (Aba is a clear example of why), and Logan's attitude sort of annoyed me.I also kept expecting Tony to shift for some reason, even though it said, clearly he *couldn't*. It felt like some sort of foreshadowing to some sort of shifting event...or something.

I really liked Rave but I think he could have been delt a better hand in the mate department. Both of his mates were assholes and for someone who was under Jacksons thumb for so long and the horrible things they went through, I think they should be granted certain kinds of mates. Mates who are not assholes or total d-bags.. Just sayin

Rave finds a mateBook nine in the Zeus's series is about Rave, Tony and Logan. The book started off slow but after the 3rd chapter it took off. As always I recommend you read the previous books before reading this one.

RaveI loved this book. Tony,Rave and Logan went through some serious up and downs with each other while they was working out their relationship with each other. They worked it out as they were falling in love with each other. I can not wait for the next story in this series. Erin

I like all Zeus Pack books and this one was no exception. This book brought wolf shifters, cat shifters, mind benders, hell hounds, winged beasts and demons. A break from reality.
