Despite the book being a little dated, it was interesting. I have, much like the author, always been fascinated by angels. So I enjoyed his insights and stories about the works of these unseen actors in his life and the lives of others. He organizes his stories around themes - children, marriage/love, dreams, and so on. This was a lovely and inspirational book.Quote to remember:The most beautiful experience we can have is the mysterious. -Albert Einstein

To quote Elizabeth Sherrill of Guideposts magazine, "A down-to-earth book about the miraculous. As if he were pulling up a chair in your own kitchen, Charlie Shedd recounts experiences of supernatural guidance, hairbreadth escapes, and angelic protection. Showing angels to be very normal and everpresent bearers of God's love, he brings the 'far out' as close as every day's need."He has 35 books as of 1994. I want to read more of his books, especially the biography, Remember I Love You: Martha's Story.I especially liked the story, "Calico Hospice Lady," of the calico cat that sat by his wife's side during her final illness. It is taken from the biography.

Quick fun older book about angels. Chronicles what things mean in his life as a preacher. Also, has scriptures to support what he says.

Very light reading. The author shares many of his personal experiences and several shared experiences of others.
