This is a great snippet from Jez and Steve’s life after the event in First Impressions. I was very relieved to see that Jez’s sense of humor is alive and well and that they’re enjoying their relationship as much as they did their getting to know each other. And best of all? Steve still manages to surprise Jez with a new talent. If you prefer your stories to make you smile, like little observations and details about the characters strewn generously throughout the text and want to find out a rather – inventive – use of a ball of wool, I am pretty sure you’ll like this one.

Second in the Jez and Steve trio and poor old Steve Is holed up at home with a broken leg but he's hiding something from Jez... Just what that is you have to read it to see but theres a very * cough * Interesting use of a material used in a hobby that I don't think you'll see your everyday crafter practicing! Lol. Short, Cute, sexy and fun... And free!

Another little snippet from the lives of Jez and Steve, where we discover Steve's darkest secret...he's a knitter ...and Jez finds a novel use for some of the yarn that Steve is using. 4 stars

This is a cute little follow-up to First Impressions which the author is offering for free on Smashwords. This is just a short taste of Steve and Jez five months after they finally get together. Steve has moved into Jez’s apartment and life was good until Steve broke his leg trying to rescue a kitten stuck on the roof. Jez is rather enjoying taking care of him, but is mystified by what Steve is hiding when he comes home a bit early. I shan’t give away what it is or what he’s doing, although the cover gives you some clues. What I enjoyed was the guys are still the guys, but you can see how Steve has had an effect on Jez. He’s still a bit surly and snarly, or he tries to be. He hates it that Steve calls him poppet, well, mostly he hates it, when he’s not rather fond of the fact. Steve is still as confident and dominant as ever, but Jez is still so smitten he’s more than happy to go along with things. It’s hard to do a long review of such a short story but fans of the first story will definitely want to pick this one up and visit with Jez and Steve as they have a little fun even while Steve’s leg is in a cast. They are just such a likable couple that you come away with a smile on your face.

Fuzzy At only 12 or so pages, this little story is a kind of vignette where we catch up with Jez and Steve after they've been living together for 5 months. Steve has a broken leg and is stuck at home and when Jez gets home early one day he catches Steve hiding something under the couch cushions. Hijinks ensue.

A fun continuation of Jez and Steve's story. When Jez comes home early one day he finds the incapacitated Steve (who is suffering from an injury) shoving something under the sofa. Curious, Jez pushes until he finds out what his lover is hiding. I can honestly say I will never look at knitting the same again. :)Another great story.

Five months after First Impresions, we catch up with Jez and Steve. Another, light fun read from Jo Myles, again short, so perfect for a 20 min timeout to raise the spirits! Jez and Steve are living together - steve off work with a broken leg. Jez comes home early to discover a secret about Steve, which leads to a sexy scene on the sofa!Filling in the gaps about what they may have been upto in those 5 months is good for daydreaming whilst cooking tea, and I loved Steve's pet name for Jez.Reread 27.4.15 : just reread all three books together, just love them!

OverallThis was a fun little short that gives us a little more of a look into the lives of Jez and Steve. Despite figuring out the "surprise," I found this to be delightfully cute and funny. It's got a little bit of everything for romance readers: humor, sweetness, and sexitime. Definitely worth picking up, I enjoyed it more than the first story, I think.Be sure to check out my other reviews on my blog.

Although only half as long as the first installment, this is still a very sweet, uplifting read. Jez isn't the only artistic one. Steve is creative in his own right as seen in how he shares his interest with his partner. A fun 15 minute read!

I like simple, "get a look into their lives now" kinda follow up stories. But this was just OK. Nothing special. Nothing overly sweet or interesting or brilliant. Just OK :(The characters did not grow on me from book one, therefore this did not do much for me ...
