Smoking hawt wham bam thank you ma'am, this is the book to read. Ms. Jaybee writes sexy scenes using every body part. She even makes chest hair alluring. She doesn't need fancy toys or equipment to turn up the heat in her books. In Not Her Type, it's a fantasy about the delivery guy dropping off more than the customer's packages. He slips his package in too. Jenny works from home and every Tuesday, John stops by at one o'clock in the afternoon to drop off her films. John is not her usual type because he's hairy and has a dick. So when he becomes irresistible, is it because it's him or because she's been in a dry spell? Regardless, the sex is mind blowing for her. Each sex scene builds the heat between Jenny and John. Between the sex scenes, Ms. Jaybee does explore the characters a bit. The focus is on the erotic positions and partners. As Jenny plays out John's fantasy's and vice versa, the reader is a happy voyeur enjoying every lick, stroke and thrust. The descriptions are vivid. Jenny shows off in all the ways John tells her. When the final fantasy is revealed, Ms. Jaybee pulls another fast one on the reader, she ends it, leaving the reader wanting more. If only 9 and 1/2 weeks was has erotic as this book.Lest anyone things this is just a porn book, it is not. Jenny and John do try to learn about each other. It seems both have baggage which prevents them from being open with each other. With each interlude, a little bit more is revealed about them. This 3.5 star book is a recommended for those who want a smexy erotic read.*I received this book as a review copy in return for an honest review

Article first published as eBook Review: Not Her Type by Kay Jaybee on Blogcritics. Not Her Type: Erotic Adventures with a Delivery Man is a new novella from the Queen of Kink, Kay Jaybee, and is published by OC Press. It tells the tale of Jenny, a home-based accountant, and her naughty trysts with film courier, John.Their relationship starts out innocently enough, but when John confesses to Jenny that he's fantasised about her, things quickly go from platonic to full on sexy. After the act, Jenny is left reeling and wondering if her romp with John was a one off, or whether he'll want more. When his next weekly visit rolls around, she finds out that it was indeed the start of a sexy no-strings relationship with some very kinky interludes. However, as good as things are physically between them, it's always in the back of Jenny's mind that John really isn't her type...Having read lots of Ms. Jaybee's work in the past, I had a good idea of what to expect. However, she still managed to surprise me. I'm not going to give the game away, but let's just say there are lots of twists and turns in this naughty little novella that will keep you on the edge of your seat, and getting hot in all the right places. Not Her Type is a seriously steamy story that does a brilliant job of turning the everyday and the mundane into a sexy romp that'll make you wonder exactly what goes on behind closed doors.

NOT HER TYPE...I just can't understand why not! Who doesn't love a tattooed bad boy? NOT HER TYPE is wicked naughtiness at it's best and is just what the doctor ordered to draw out all the dirty fantasies you have all pent up inside. Jenny is a loner in her early thirties. She has not been with a man for many years and she thinks she is fine with that until the sexy courier who brings her films every Tuesday starts to worm his way into her fantasies. Unable to fight the mutual attraction, they embark on a sexual adventure, pushing all the boundaries of dirty, kinky sex they can think to explore. John lures Jenny out of her self-imposed celibacy with promises of sinful delight and he doesn't disappoint. Sinful delight is exactly what film courier; John brings to this spicy quickie. Though I still haven't quite figured out why Jenny has a courier bring films to her every week, it is a minor detail that I am willing to overlook for the sake of good smut! NOT HER TYPE proves that sometimes you should just throw caution to the wind and take the plunge into the unknown, who knows, it could be rewarding!NOT HER TYPE explores a wide variety of kinks including light bondage, domination, watersports as well as sex with strangers, exhibitionism, voyeurism and a little girl on girl action. If this sounds like your cup of tea, then check it out and you shall not be disappointed.✳✳ Copy provided by the author/publisher for an honest review.**Reviewed on I ♥ Bookie Nookie Reviews and The Romance Reviews.______________________________________________________________________If you like this type of book, you might enjoy one of these groups. This was a brilliant fast moving storyline, following Jenny's thoughts and emotions about a man that really isn't her type at all. She had never been interested in men who were rough and rugged with hairy chests and tattoos, but somehow this guy has got under her skin.A story about a friendship that neither thought possible until one day John admits he has been having erotic thoughts about her, she agrees and tells him she too has been having fantasies about him.We share her excitement and growing obsession for his next visit and not for the films he was delivering, but his smouldering sexy body and the chance to act out her deepest fantasies. The sex becomes more and more erotic as he pushes her boundaries further both enjoying the fire and intensity; both gradually become closer and more addicted to each other. But Jenny cant help but start to wonder what it would be like to be in a relationship with him. There was no character conflict in this story it was just natural "No strings attached sex" with neither having to feel dirty or guilty about anything they do; both wanting to explore their fantasies to the full and they certainly do that at every opportunity; which is perfect as long as neither of them fall in love? I loved this very erotic novel with a brilliant variety and frequency of sex scenes, it is well written and flows well. Kay has has explored the more kinkier side of sex, each scene exceptionally well placed and so very very hot. I found both characters totally believable and relatable particularly Jenny; although I always prefer my men rough round the edges and this book shows you why. You wont go back to boring suit men girls.....From m/f sex to light BDSM, g/g, spanking, public masturbation, anal and a sexy ménage a tois and a well written scene not to everyone's taste initially; but it is believable and totally in the flow of the story and heat of the moment. I dont want to give toomuch away here....Phewy....!If your after a full on romance this is not the book for you, but if you are after a hot steamy read with a great variety of kinky sex scenes with two very relatable characters, you will love this novella and maybe even get a few tips along the way.

Reviewed for Erotic Flashes Reviewshttp://www.eroticflashes.comRating: 4 FlashesHeat Level: 4.5Well, I've got myself one dirty little story here, with a touch of heart too. This was a fun read with a capital F, and a whole load of another F-word going on throughout.John is Jenny's filthy-minded, hairy-chested, tattooed and devilishly handsome courier. He delivers DVDs to her every Tuesday and has always had the hots for her. One Tuesday, the opportunity arises to do something about it, and Jenny (who also sports a mind as deviously imaginative and in need of a good bleaching) discovers that she has the hots for him too -- big time.Even as I write this, it doesn't do the story justice. This is a light-hearted read that packs a lot of punch, and a huge amount of kink, not to mention some light BDSM. You'll find some female lovin' here (and a naughty f/m/f threesome) as well the chance to become well acquainted with Jenny's 'rough around the edges' delivery man ... and he certainly knows how to deliver.Kay's writing is direct and she doesn't mince her erotic words. There's also not a lot of (if any) drowning in emotions, and there's not a huge amount of background about the characters -- some, but not loads -- so if you're a fan of 'to the point' erotica, without too much of the heart-rendering stuff, this one's for you. There's page after page of larger-than-life sex here and it's well written. There was also a scenario that took me by surprise -- pleasantly so, although it may not be to everyone's tastes. I can't say more as I don't want to spoil it, but you'll get to it and go, "Is she really going to write that in? Oh! Well, damn, she did!"This is the first Kay Jaybee story I've read, but it won't be the last.Note: Received from Writers Marketing Services, via the author / publisher, in exchange for an honest review.

This novella definitely has me looking at my UPS and FedEx guys in a different light. The story centers around Jenny and her film courier, John. After months of sharing a cup of coffee over a half hour break, John pushes their relationship into new territory by rocking Jenny's world every week with the hottest sex she's ever had. Jenny is a confuses bi-sexual who has a hard time reconciling the fact that she's attracted to a burly tattooed, hairy courier. She's been by herself for the past twelve years and can't believe that when she finds herself attracted to a man, he's definitely not her type. John is equally confused, since he definitely was never one to go with the prim, posh types her thinks Jenny is. But neither of them can argue with the chemistry they have together as the practically burn down her living room with sexual fire.If you get past the "I'll drop by once a week for a half hour and bang ya" feel to the story, it was a kinky mating dance Jenny and John participated in to get to the point where both of them realized they were in a relationship and had strong feelings for the other. That was enjoyable. Where the story lost me (and got it's 3 rating) was from one particular kink scene that had me completely grossed out. I'll pretty much read anything in erotic, but getting peed on just about did me in.

Well hello there and thank you very much, MS Jaybee, for a delightful bit of erotica. I spend quite a bit of my time reading New Adult romance, and it was actually really refreshing to read a sinfully erotic tale about two people in their thirties. Jenny is a brilliantly strong character, she's not afraid to let loose and live out her fantasies, and John is her ideal foil - demanding and domineering most of the time, but up for a bit of a switch now and again. Jaybee manages to fit a whole lot of sexual encounters into this novella, making for a very arousing read! Jenny and John have a no-strings, sex-for-fun relationship that enables them to bring their fantasies to life, and they don't hold back. I loved the bisexual side of Jenny, her decision to bring in another woman to satisfy her needs, and her willingness to try, and enjoy, just about anything. Not Her Type is definitely my type of book - it's full of sex with a range of different kinks from light bondage to public masturbation, and Jaybee manages to intertwine the copious sex scenes with a creditable story too. I'll definitely be checking out her other work.

I have to say, this is one of the hottest books I've read in a while. Kay Jaybee does an exceptional job of enticing the reader during John and Jen's weekly visits, not only with amazing, spicy sex scenes, but with a somewhat unexpected emotional element that I just had to see through to the end. Each scene was supercharged with a heated frenzy of want and exploration, allowing the reader to experience the characters fully as they uncover their desires and push each other to the limit.A definite must read for erotica lovers.

The author expertly plays with the power shifts between these characters and the old idea of ‘can a relationship just about the sex work’ is articulately and erotically played with. What can I say other than go grab a copy of this seriously hot book, though be warned, because I for one, will never be able to look another courier man in the eye again!

Each Tuesday, Jenny has her dvd's delivered by her regular courier, John. It's not until John admits to Jenny that she has become the centre of his sexual dreams, that things suddenly become hot and heedy between them. Will the stolen few minutes each Tuesday be enough to satisfy both their desires? You'll have to read it to find out!!The idea behind this story is such a simple yet intriguing one. We all have parcels etc delivered, but how many of us actually fantasize about our delivery men? I can't say I wouldn't, but then i've never had the good fortune to be faced with a 'hunky' courier .....yet!!I was gripped from beginning to end and curious to learn more about the weekly romps which slowly began taking over Jennys life and filling her every waking thought. Each session is different, but all as steamy as hell and explained in great detail. Jenny is amazed at how far she's prepared to go to keep John happy and is stunned at just how brazen she can be. Her weekly meetings help bring out a side to Jenny which has been kept under wraps for quite some time and she soon begins to feel liberated. It's not long before Jenny falls head over heels with John, but does he feel the same or are the weekly meetings about to fizzle out?A fairly short read but one that's guaranteed to leave you damp and wanting more!

Not your typical home delivery service... I received this book as a review copy in return for an honest review. This was a great story of John and Jenny. Jenny was a accountant type who worked from home. John was the local delivery guy from a DVD company. Obviously this book was based before the days of netflix or streaming videos... but imagine he is any delivery guy - FedEx, UPS, etc here in the states. When a friendly hug turns into so much more, Jenny can't wait for her weekly DVD delivery.Wish we had learned a little more about John and Jenny in a prologue though. Maybe meet Jenny in college, when she didn't think of herself as a dull accountant - John thought she was so beautiful and wild and we didn't see that side of her right away. Maybe see John when his marriage was going south. For being a 36 year old soon to be divorcee he sure seemed like he would never or had never wanted a relationship and there was no evidence was to why. Favorite passage: "You're so not my usual type. I wanted to see if I missed talking to you as well. And I did."

Where to start ...... Jenny is a home based accountant, whose weekly coffee and chat sessions with her film delivery courier quickly move on to something far more exciting! John really is Not her Type ....Unshaven, tattooed, muscley and male....A succession of increasingly erotic Tuesday afternoon rendezvous lead to other adventures and maybe something else.... A book for the 18+ brigade, with scenes of highly charged chemistry. Only problem I have now is that I am going to have to stop ordering stationary for work - the courier driver likes to chat when he delivers to the office - I wont be able to look him in the eye now!Book gifted from the author for an honest review.

This book was just okay for me. Like, but not love.I really liked the idea of the story, but wish that there was more of a story line. The whole story revolves around sex. While that is not bad. And you like your books packed with sex, then you will like this book. There was sex from page one. But there was something missing for me. And there was one part of the book that grossed me out. Really grossed me out. Over all this book was not really my cup of tea

Jenny is well-read, cultured, and a bit closed-off. I don’t think what she actually does for a living is ever mentioned, but she comes across as some sort of business professional. As for a sex life, to say she is going through a lengthy dry spell would be putting it mildly. In contrast, John is fairly coarse, working class, and has zero interest in books or culture. I think it’s fairly obvious that the idea of opposites attract is something of a theme here.Undoubtedly erotica, this story starts—with literally no build up—in the midst of the couple’s first sexual encounter. The book goes on to detail how they met when John delivered DVDs to Jenny, and that they’ve become sort of casual friends during the subsequent weekly visits. Both are wary of romantic involvement and neither is looking for a relationship. Despite that, they do make several attempts to get to get to know one another better, but continually become sidetracked by lust. The storyline does contains some bdsm elements, though I would not categorize it as such. It is definitely more just random kink and fantasy fulfillment than actual bdsm or d/s.My issue with the book is that it does eventually lean toward romance. Which doesn’t really make sense. Additionally, only the day by day encounters between the H/h are detailed within the story. As a result the narrative is somewhat choppy and lacking in flow. Weirdly, this causes the book to feel like more of a collection of extremely short stories than a single storyline whole. For the sake of full disclosure it must be stated that I received this book, free of charge, from Netgalley.

Not Her Type is a fun, sexy story that is hot, hot, hot! Full of deliciously kinky romps this book is guaranteed to raise your temperature. A great read for when you need to escape from the real world, Not Her Type is a fun, sexy, kinky romp.Every Tuesday Jenny and courier John have an intense, sexy encounter. Jenny just can't resist the hunky delivery man even though he is the complete opposite of her usual type. With a fabulous hairy chest, sexy tattoos and an amazingly filthy mouth, John is a great character. Week after week, this sexy couple explore their wildest fantasies. The sex scenes are smoking hot, well written, varied and imaginative. I loved Jenny discovering her dirty side, she complimented John really well. It was interesting watching their relationship evolve and develop from weekly quickies into something more. The storyline is told from Jenny's point of view, and we are privy to all her thoughts and emotions. Often conflicted about her relationship (or lack of one) with John, she is a feisty, sexy woman who I really liked. I would have liked to know more about John, but the lack of knowledge about him somehow made him mysterious and sexy. There is no complex storyline in this book, but it is still an enjoyable, lighthearted, kinky read. This is the first book I've read by this author, but I would definitely read more. Not Her Type gets four out of five stars.I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Really enjoyed this snappily told, nicely steamy story.I think this is an excellent example of an erotic romance novella, and I reckon there’s as much story as in many full-length novels. This engaging tale is told from the point of view of Jenny, a single professional woman who works at home. Rather to her surprise, she gets involved in deliciously steamy, brief clinches with a man who makes weekly deliveries.Even though she keeps on telling herself he’s just not her type, Jenny finds herself out of her emotional comfort zone and on a path of sometimes disconcerting mind games and self-discovery.

Not Her Type contains M/F/F action and does get a little kinky. If you're looking for a sizzling novella with a great storyline, this might not be the book for you. However, if you're looking for a sizzling hot erotic novella with lots of moderate kink and a story where 75% of the book is spent partially clothed, THIS is the book you want! While there isn't much of a storyline to this book, there is sizzling sex from the very beginning, and things don't cool down throughout the story. Jen has been celebrate for years, John is a deliveryman that has turned into her newfound lover. During Jen and John's weekly romps, we watch as they experience new kinks. Jen has never been into men, until John walked into her life. Now, she can't get enough of her weekly deliveryman or the spice that he brings with him. Just to make thing even more interesting, Jen bring another women into the mix. While this isn't a book about an over the top emotional attachment, the physical chemistry between Jen and John is to die for! *I received a copy of this book in exchange for my honest opinion*

*Book source ~ A review copy was provided in exchange for an honest review.John is Jenny’s regular movie courier. Each Tuesday he brings the new and takes the old. After months of casual chitchat and even a quick cup of coffee, John reveals how he feels at home with someone he hasn’t even hugged. An innocent hug is all it takes to ignite a red hot lust between two opposites.Oh.Em.Gee! This! This is my favorite story by Kay Jaybee so far. *fans self* Told from Jenny’s POV it’s well-written, smooth flowing, creative and hot. Oh, dear sweet Heaven, is it hot. Jenny and John are almost complete opposites in every way. And yet there is something that draws them together. Not just for hot sex though that is definitely a plus. As they explore their fantasies and feelings each week this story will have you drooling, so be sure to have a bib or better yet a towel handy. Why? Because a towel can be used to wipe moisture from other places besides a chin. Duh. I can see myself revisiting this story on a regular basis. *nods emphatically* Oh, yeah.

Now every Tuesday when John shows up things get a little dirty.Who am I kidding it gets A LOT dirty!John is so not Jenny’s' type but this goes to show you that things change.I actually found my self waiting to see what would happen just like Jenny did. It was very exciting. 4.5 Very Naughty Stars ~ Call me crazy, BUT......I thought this little book could have been a little SHORTER. I know, crazy, right? Anyway, I thought a couple of the chapters could have been left out, and I would still have been satisfied with the ending. This book had quite a bit of story to go with the erotica. I felt naughty reading it, but I also had a H and h to cheer for. The plot was basic, but it worked for me.Jenny was one lucky single girl, having a hot delivery guy actually COME IN THE HOUSE and spend time with her. Fantasy all the way. LOL! The UPS guys where I live are not allowed one FOOT inside the house, no matter how heavy the package or how helpless I look in getting it in. John was very special, indeed.I received this book from the publisher through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

This book was just okay for me. I shudder to say it was almost too much sex in this story. This is a story of a delivery man who comes every Tuesday to deliver more than DVDs ordered by the home owner. The couple delves into some dirty domination between each other. There is no "real" relationship here and so much unknown or mystery between the two. I think my taste turned a bit sour when he relieved himself on her during one of their sessions. That is not my taste in play. This is probably the dream of some women to snag their UPS or FedEx delivery man. Quite a unique story to write. I just felt it was too much. I found myself skimming through the dates to get to the actual scene. Sex scenes were plenty and each scene different, thankfully. Very interesting story.

This little erotic book started off like gangbusters. Apparently in Britain you have your rental movies delivered to your front door every week. Well, in this particularly case, DVD's were not the only thing delivered. Sexy John, the movie delivery guy, and at home working accountant Jenny decide that the friendship the two have developed over coffee as he has delivered her movies, needed to move to the next level. And, boy does it. Every week, same time, same place but new and different ways to "get to know each other." It was really sexy and fun. Later some m/f/f and f/f was introduced which really isn't my forte and I lost interest a little. But, overall, this was a short, sexy, funny read.
