This bi-lingual poetry book is lovely - funny, humane, full of thoughtful contemplation in and on his native language - Scottish Gaelic. One day I'll be able to read both sides of the page with equal fluency, but for now, the English is enough to know that the Gaelic must be storming. 'Having no Canute in Gaelic, / we were acutely disadvantaged', but he's more than making up for it.
