An excellent resource! The frequent comparison between model reference and figure sketch was a lightbulb moment for me as to how valuable it is to spend time building up specific photo references for facial expressions, poses and locations when planning out an idea.

There are a lot of tips and tricks worth the entire read. My current style is becoming more defined and is somewhat different than examples given so my personal interest was limited. But that is another reason to look at this book, to see what individual contrast of techniques you have already developed. I.E. I use a different method of eyes and lips, size proportion of characters is 7 instead of the elongated 9. To each his own.

Get this book just starting out. One of the worn copies in my reference library.
