A Sherlock Holmes story set later in his life, with Watson tracking down Holmes long after the two had been estranged, and together investigating a case connected to the sinking of the Titanic. A bit slow to get going, with perhaps too quick a resolution, this is actually a prequel toThe Ordeals of Sherlock Holmes . As always, excellent production quality from Big Finish.

Wonderful. Big Finish's best Sherlock Holmes drama yet. Not so much because of the case but because of the relationship between Holmes and Watson. They start at odds but the ending, the ending is wonderful, deeply intimate and sweet. Looking forward to more SH books by Jonathan Barnes.
