Mo Chedda Reviews
Street Justice lives by the creed "an eye for an eye" plain and simple. When someone deliberately blurs the lines that can cause chaos and confusion all around one thing is for certain, the big dogs always come out on top.Mo Chedda begins where Chedda Boyz ends with a hostile takeover in place. Chaz, the brother of Big Mo is now calling the shots after the sudden demise of Bennie, Big Mo's second in command. Then there is Sugar, Spice, Stacy and CeCe the four sister who are the new leaders of the Chedda Boyz, Trish and Dre. This is the new Chedda Boyz crew and they are ready to take Cleveland by storm but they can't seem to get things just quite right now that Big Mo isn't around anymore. There is fighting among the ranks, no loyalty and no trust and this is something that would nave never happened with Big Mo around. Out with the old and in with the new, changes have to be made and money does too after all this is the dope game. Chaz is building a new group a soldiers to work for Sugar and Spice but there is tension between them because of Trish but Chaz is not going to let a woman stand in his way of making money. Chaz is trying to become the next Drug Kingpin of Cleveland so whatever he needs to do in order to become that he is going to do, with or without Sugar and Spice. True to form, just when you think things are going your way a surprise is right around the corner to take your breath away!Mo Chedda has given me everything that I needed in a novel: action, suspense, drama, romance, karma. The way Hudson brings back characters from the first novel in the second surprises you and makes you all excited (I won't say which ones are brought back just hold on to your seat) but it is very well written and a very strong storyline keeps you glued to the book until the very end. Minor editing issues don't take away from the story. Continued Success C.J. Hudson.
With the demise of their leader Mo, the remaining members of the Chedda Boyz team up with Sugar and Spice to get some real money. It's not long before there is tension between the group and members are pushed aside. Chad will do whatever it takes to push Sugar and Spice out the way and be the HNIC. The only problem is there is somebody watching their every move and they will stop at nothing to make sure the Chedda Boyz are no more.I enjoyed this book and all the drama between the characters. The author did a good job with connecting the characters to each other in some type of way. There were still editing issues in the story that were hard to overlook. Specifically, the mixing up of the characters names. This really threw me off because I was forced to read certain parts more than once in order to figure out who he was really talking about. I will be continuing with the story
The new Chedda Boyz crew has emerged and they're trying to make a name for themselves in this sequel. Sugar, Spice, Jamal, Trish, and Chaz are taking the streets of Cleveland by storm. Just when they think things can't get any better, everything comes crashing down. No one can be trusted and old friends come back for revenge.I gave this book 4*, because of the grammatical errors. This is definitely a series that I will recommend in the future.
This book has more twist and turns and I really enjoyed this. Loyalty didn't exist and what goes around comes around. I have a date with bloody cheddar.
