This book is different from the first book in this series but it is a good book the thing I liked the least was all the servitude in this relationship and the excuse that it was making her a better woman ,Heck no! The sex is this book is steamy this book is about a Dom and Master falling in love and I have learned a different style of BDSM in this book and this is a good story.

This book was totally different from the pervious book in the series and I really loved it. Not reading much about BDSM previously this book was really a mini crash course. Nick was such a wonderful teacher for Zerrin. He really taught her the ropes of the lifestyle and helped her mature as a woman. Their sessions together had me so intrigued, and their regular arc scenes were quite erotic. I'm loving the D'Amato family dynamic. When they get together it is really a hoot. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series.

I dont mind BDSM, I rather enjoy reading about it. However, there is something I dont like when it comes to menage trois and the male and female leads of my story. That is why I rated this low, I kind of speed read and skipped through the book.

Cocktails and Books ReviewOriginal Review Published here: http://www.cocktailsandbooks.com/revi...To Love and Obey is the second book in the D’Amato Brothers series by Vera Roberts. While this book is part of a series, it can be read and enjoyed as a standalone novel.Nicholas D’Amato is a popular English Professor at NYU who is also know as the hardest. Nick enjoys blurring the lines between professional and personal. His new grad student seems to inspire him to make changes to his normal behavior. I found Nick very down to earth.Zerrin Campbell is a graduate student at NYU and works as a teaching assistant to Professor Nicholas D’Amato. Zerrin comes across as a woman who seems to know who she wants to be but struggles to achieve it. It seems to take Nick within a D/s relationship for her achieve it.The connection between Nicholas and Zerrin is intense. I enjoyed seeing Nick and Zerrin try to make their relationship work. It was very believable. The sex scenes were blistering. I loved that they spent time as Nick and Zerrin and stepped out of their D/s roles.I found this story very well written with a realistic plot overall. The main characters and the secondary characters were interesting. The ending of the story was a bit predictable but I enjoyed seeing the natural progression they story had. Overall, this was a fabulous story.

This was a little different from the few other books I've read that deals with BDSM which haven't been that many....but To Love and Obey opens your eyes to what really goes on in the "lifestyle". This is a sensual/erotic book that takes a deeper look into the D/s relationship.....and when all is said and done Nick and Zerrin will both find something in their D/s relationship that helps them overcome some obstacles and to find that happiness that they want in both their personal and professional lives. This was just my second read by Ms. Roberts and so looking forward to read many more...

Better continuation of the D'Amarto Bros. One can understand why Nick is called St. Nick 😉 A close knit family who may have financially struggled never strayed from one another. Love the interaction between Nick and Zerrin. As always will not spoil storyline but am a fan of the D’Amato family. The storyline become a lot more intriguing in the next instalment. Wonderful and erotic writing on Interracial relationships by Vera.

Definitivamente este genero de novela erotica se esta aprovechando del exito de 50 shades, pero dejan mucho que desear. Esta historia es insipida y aburrida.
