Die For Me Reviews
Some books you just have to persevere with. Very difficult to read and all over the place, however after about quarter way through it started to come alive, and make more sense concluding without loose ends. The story is about a former hit man searching for his serial murdering twin sister! So yes there is a lot of killing. It is a short book and I believe could be a lot shorter if some of the flowery language was omitted. Would I recommend it? , if you don't have anything else to read - yes.
I was pleased to learn she was going to explore more of the characters from Let Me Out. I found that a lot of things clicked together while reading through this and Taigen is simply amazing. I love the way she creates her characters because I feel like this is someone I could know personally. I really enjoyed this book, almost as much as the first!
It was difficult for me to get through this book. I didn't connect with the characters or the story. I felt the pacing didn't progress as smoothly as I wanted it to be. At times, the content was too much, and I found myself speed reading through different sections.
This book was hard to read , it started picking up midway through the book. I think that the author used to many filler words as if he was trying to make the book longer. I don't think that I would recommend this book unless you just did not have anything else to read.
