Taking His Hand Reviews
2 STARS!I guess I'm gonna keep this short and to-the-point. This is the final book from Under His Roof and I hated it. Why?1. I didn't feel their connection. AT ALL. When Rachel and David's trying to step forward into their new relationship, it was too fast. Suddenly David fell in love with her and she's the one? I just couldn't. Hmph.2. David has needs to spank is inevitable, of course. He stated that he couldn't have pure vanilla relationship with any woman. He still need this to fulfill his life. For me, he's kinda forced Rachel to agree with this. I know they're two consent adult but somehow, Rachel couldn't speak for herself either. She's fierce and cruel at work but shy kitten in bedroom with David.3. Even for short story, I couldn't feel the emotion and there is no surprise element in the plot. So flat. Everything is predictable. Sometimes Rachel acted like a child but she didn't throw tantrum. Whew. There is my 2 stars. I found this isn't enjoyable and quite irritated me at some point. Too perfect to be true? Insta-love? Again, I didn't find their sex is HOT. It was plain and boring.

A sequel to Under his Hand, Rachel and David return in this smexy spanking story. In this new installment, a couple of conflicts arise between personal and professional for David. How does Rachel and David work these issues out?Ms. Quinn continues with a great job of showing how a domestic discipline relationship can work. The reader is treated to marked improvements in Rachel's behaviour. In addition, the reader sees it's not all about David with his iron fist, doling out brutal spankings. There is true give and take in this relationship and it's beautiful to witness. The spanking scenes doled out are hot even when they are not erotic ones. It's clear Ms. Quinn is showcasing all sorts of reason why a spanking would be meted out. It's nice to see the variety of reason as well as implements. What stays consistent is David's calm reassuring demeanor. He is definitely a devoted disciplinary with "life coaching" qualities. There are many people in this world who would easily benefit from a bit of his coaching. This sequel is a lovely happily ever after for Rachel and David despite the bumps in the road. The amount of spanking is light to moderate. I confess I tend to be fan of spanking so there is never a case of too much spanking in a story for me. This book is recommended to spanking fetishes who dream of a domestic discipline relationship.* Provided by Spanking Romance Reviews*
Have you read Sadey Quinn's new book Taking His Hand? (Under His Roof book 2)... Well, I just did and it was terrific. Ok first let me say that Under His Roof is the first book and you should definitely read that one first. It is about a young businesswoman, Rachel, who due to her drive and ambition has become somewhat of a bitch. Her friends are running like wildfire because she is just not nice to be around. She knows she is out of control and on a whim, decides to employ the services of a professional disciplinarian. Enter David. Hot, Stern, David. So, of course they meet up and... well, just read the story. It's really good. But that is just book one. Book two was just released. That is Taking His Hand and it starts where Under His Roof left off.I don't want to give away too much of the story but the thing that I think most of us will struggle with most is the whole dynamic of being in a relationship with a man who is a professional disciplinarian. I mean, come on. Would you want your boyfriend or husband spanking other women? How would you feel knowing he was so intimately involved with these clients? One of which you work with! I don't have a lot of experience but I am pretty sure I would not be happy sharing.Anyway, this is such a sweet story. I am sure you will love it. Sadey also has some pretty hot BDSM stories out as well that you may want to check out.
This is the sequel to Under His Roof. Sadey Quinn has done it again. This is truly a great story. I wanted more. I had mixed feelings when I came to the end of the story. Sad to see it end, happy to know there is more to come. This story has a lot going on that you want to dive right into everyone's story. We learn more about Aria and the struggles David and Rachel go through when she moves in with him. Sadey was so in tuned with her characters. I cried during the rose scene. That was truly a beautiful moment. Thank you Sadey for givings us what we crave - more David and Rachel.
Taking His Hand is the second part of this series and just a good as the first episode. The hot spanking scenes continue as David works as a professional disciplinarian with his female clients and also disciplines Rachel as part of their normal home routines. This takes adjustments for both of them and the emotions express by the author make the characters very real for the reader.Sadey Quinn has written another excellent story and left this reader wanting the next episode of Rachel and David's story.
