I've read many, many vintage style books, and this one wasn't the best of them. It's informative, that's for sure, well researched too, but the directions were a bit too hard for my liking, and there were too many spelling mistakes. I'm glad I've added this book to my collection, because I don't have enough books about 1940s hair, but if you want a book that's easy to follow, this one isn't for you!
