Things are not going well for recently divorced 32 y/o Jada Dangerfield. Her high school sweetheart and now ex-husband, Eric, cheated her in the divorce settlement, having put most of his wealth and assets in his sister's name. He also cheated her during the 12 year marriage, having had multiple secret affairs that she ignored despite the signs (having bought into the fairy tale she thought she'd achieved). He finally gives her an ultimatum: either let him openly date his new girlfriend or expect a divorce. Of course she's not sticking around. And now it's a year later and she's scraping by on the money she makes off of peddling sex toys at "Naughty Nights" parties while trying to find job.Paired with her is 34 y/o tax lawyer Mason Coleman, her best friend's older brother. He's the starchy counterpart to her, always seeming as though he's judging her. And why wouldn't she believe that? They've always disliked one another intensely, but Jada has never been able to figure out why. But because he disliked her, she disliked him right back in response. Well, turns out that he's been harbouring feelings for her since time but she never noticed. He was also resentful that she'd gotten with Eric, who he dislikes greatly, soon after she'd moved to their little town.In the years since, he's tried to bury whatever he felt for her. He has been with other women, which I don't blame him for. I absolutely hate it when the heroine waits around for the otherwise-occupied hero, so it wouldn't be fair of me to hold that against him. While the romance novel-reading side of me would've loved for him to held out for her, I can't say I'm angry that he didn't. 12 years is a hellva long time for him to wait around for someone who not only didn't notice him, but was married to someone else. And like Jada, who hasn't been with anyone in the year since her divorce, it's been a while since he's with with anyone (doesn't mention any specifics). However, what I could've done without are the mentions of other women. While it's not at all detailed (especially in comparison to other books), I could've done without (view spoiler)[that mention of how he used sex toys with his ex-girlfriends and the appearance of his ex-girlfriend, Selena, in this book. What I did like about Selena was that she wasn't some vindictive and hateful ex. They were together when he was in law school but broke up (I assume he did the breaking up because she still wants to have dinner with him) and now remain in infrequent contact as professionals. She was mostly used for angst, which I didn't like, but I liked the friendly exs aspect. (hide spoiler)]There was also a lot of drama having to do with Jada's ex, Eric. Eric makes one appearance at the beginning of the book and that's it. Later on, his current wife, Nikki, who he cheated with and then left Jada for, also makes an appearance. I didn't like the resolution here. (view spoiler)[And by resolution, I mean that there was none. I kept hoping that there would be some karmic justice here, especially with how big of a part Eric played in the story (not in appearance, but feeling-wise and her current financial situation), so I was disappointed that there was nothing. With the first book, I was able to let go of Adrian getting off without any comeuppance because he didn't play such a large part in the story, but with how much Eric was mentioned in this book, I was hoping—EXPECTING!—him to get what was coming. It left me disappointed that there wasn't. (hide spoiler)]The other thing I disliked was that while there was a lot of angst, which I don't necessarily dislike, it's that I didn't feel satisfied with the conclusions. The Eric thing I mentioned above is one. Another is with some stupid decisions Mason made (view spoiler)[by calling in a favour from his ex, Selena, on behalf of Jada without telling Jada he was doing so (hide spoiler)]. I was expecting a more satisfying conclusion that an apology and immediate forgiveness, tbh. Another thing is, (view spoiler)[like the first, no ILYs. While not completely horrible, I was hoping for them here because they'd known one another for over ten years. I was able to let go of it in the first because they'd only just met, but I was expecting something more here, especially following all the angst. (hide spoiler)]I think the angst is part of what made this not as enjoyable. The first book worked well as a novella because there wasn't much angst, but that worked against this book. This one would've felt a lot better suited to a full-length novel than a novella. Because of how much went into the story, things felt shoddily wrapped (or not at all (view spoiler)[in Eric's case (hide spoiler)]), leading to it feeling rushed and dissatisfying by the end.

This is a quick light read of non friends to lover's kinda story. Mason has always had a crush on Jada, but b.c she was with his sworn enemy( bully all around as*hole) Eric, it was easier to have animosity between them since she was unattainable. Jada is Masons little sisters bff on top of everything so they are constantly around each other. Finally Eric shows his true colors and the Romance of Mason and Jada begin. Novellas are not my fave, they are like a quickie. Fun exciting during but over way to fast , it's a wham bam thank you mam kind of story. Novellas equal a quickie, so if you are ok with that buy this series. Good characters & story, unfortunately over just as the story gets going.

I read it because it goes well with one of my challenges and I was actually positively surprised. This is generally an easy and uncomplicated story, only a bit too short for my taste. Still the characters are likeable and the whole plot has some potential. With a little effort it could be easily made into a full story, more complicated one. I would like to see the confrontation between Jada and her ex-husband Eric after she gains more self-confidence or even between Eric and Mason. Still it is a nice novella, giving hope for other good reads from the author.

Farrah Rochon has done it once again with her Moments in Maplesville series. Jada and Mason get down right naughty. I can't wait to hear about Keira and catch up with the other two couples in the next book.

I really enjoyed this short novel by Farrah Rochen. I found her enjoyable The Holmes brothers the best & I just had to read it. Very romantic love story.

3 out of 5This one was both fun and funny. I enjoyed it more than the previous book in this series and recommend it if you are looking for a quick romance with characters that have history.

Fun! Aaaahhhhh this was such a fun read! Sexy and naughty, this one is an all round good time. This one is definitely for fans of the enemies-to-lovers trope.

Sometimes life throws a few curveballs at us. Just ask Jada who is still reeling from the devastating blow her husband inflicts on her when he not only ends their twelve-year marriage, but also remarries and starts a family. And if it is not enough, she is unemployed and has to depend on selling erotic toys to meet her monthly financial obligations. Then there is Mason, Jada’s best friend’s brother, who is forced to become the man of the house at age fourteen when his father dies unexpectedly, leaving him little me-time, even as an adult, to enjoy the simple things in life. Thus, his life revolves around taking care of his mother and sister, and working from Monday to Monday at his law firm.Farrah Rochon’s novel, A Little Bit Naughty, takes a look at how these two souls first fight against and then succumb to the attraction they feel for each other. No doubt, it is a refreshing read. The banter between Jada and Mason is authentic, the relationship between Jada and her two best friends is relatable and the inner and external conflicts are such that they help to move the plot along.Though A Little Bit Naughty is a short read, it deals with such issues as betrayal, friendship, sex, unemployment and love and would surely delight readers, especially when they see how much Jada and Mason transform as a result of loving each other. The epilogue gives readers the opportunity to see how happy they are together, at least, for now.-Reviewed by Roxy

I had read A Perfect Fling a few years back and enjoyed the story. It is a short and sweet holiday romance. At the time I gave it 4 stars noting that it did its job. It was a super quick read that gave me a break from the hustle and bustle of the holidays. I recently downloaded this bundle pack of the first two books in the series so gave the first book a reread as a refresher. Although this time through I found a few other issues with the writing, I decided to let the 4 stars stand. It still works for what it seems to be meant for.Unfortunately, those little writing issues from the first story carried over and multiplied in the second book. While reading A Little Bit Naughty I couldn’t help but wonder if the author even had anyone else read the story before it was published. The actual story and characters are lovely and fun, but when an author writes “that faithful night” when she means “that FATEFUL night” it just takes me out of the story. And that’s not the only issue. The writing just didn’t flow and the language was elementary and these issues kept jolting me from the fictional world Ms. Rochon had created. Honestly this book was only finished because it was so short. As much as I enjoy the stories this author has to tell, I have too many other books I want to read to slog through the mediocre writing.

I'd heard good things about Rochon, so was looking forward to checking out her new series. Turns out this is a novella, not a novel, and suffers from the typical underdevelopment common to the form. Divorcee Jada has been left in the financial lurch by her high school sweetheart husband, and finds herself hosting sex toy parties (think Avon lady but with vibrators) in order to make ends meet until she can find a job. Mason, the brother of her best friend, has long had a crush on beautiful Jada, but since Jada hooked up with the stupid popular boy as soon as she moved to town in high school, Mason's sublimated his attraction into verbal sparring and overt contempt. Yet now that stupid husband is out of the picture, Jada and Mason find their sparks fanning a different kind of flame. A subplot about Mason's over-controlling protectiveness towards his sister gives the hero a tad more character than one typically finds in a romance novella, although the conflict between Mason and Jada that stems from it seems a bit lame. Will have to try something longer from Rochon to get a better sense for her as a writer...

I enjoyed this quick read by Farrah Rochon. A Little Bit Naughty is book 2 in the Moments in Maplesville series, and I may have enjoyed it just a bit more than book 1.This installment centers on Jada Dangerfield and Mason Coleman - longtime enemies. Mason is the older brother to one of Jada's best friends, Kiera. Jada is having a rough go of things recently. First, her husband announces his intentions of divorcing her on their anniversary. Then, she loses her home and her dignity in a messy divorce battle. To top it off, she loses her job. She is trying to keep her head above water and barely makes ends meet month t0 month, thanks to her new consulting business selling *gasp* sex toys. Mason Coleman has always been a fierce protector of his mother and baby sister, Kiera. Sometimes to the point of being a nuisance. He offers help and even noses his way into Kiera's business when she'd rather he stay out of it. He vows to always keep the promise he made his father, even if Kiera didn't realize she needed the help. When these forces collide, these two nemesis' from way back, who knows what will happen next. Sparks fly and things get naughty.

This story was full of real emotion and the characters were realistic. To be honest, in the beginning, I didn't like Jada and Mason much, but they grew on me as I kept reading. I think this added to my experience because we often don't like people when we first meet them, but we warm up to them as we get to know them. Rochon writes with an ease that depicts situations that could easily happen, which makes her stories accessible and engaging. Although I did like the first novel, A Perfect Holiday Fling, more, I still enjoyed meeting additional people of Maplesville and following a new couple and their journey of discovering passion and more. As a caution, there was some language and a couple of intimate scenes.

Reminds me of old school Ann Christopher and me likey!I love when romance writers incorporate a little bit of playfulness into their books. So far, it's what I've come to expect from Rochon and she always delivers. This is one of my favorites because the characters are just so likable and they are in the most awkward situation ever. On top of that, there's a believable emotional cord in the book that I was not expecting. It was an enjoyable afternoon with Jada and Mason. Super sexy, by the way.The dining room. That is all.

This is the second installment in Farrah Rochon's Moments in Maplesville series. A Little Bit Naughty is Jada Dangerfield's story. Her knight in shining armor is Mason Coleman, her nemesis throughout high school and the older brother of her best friend Kiera. I loved Jada and Mason's story and their oil and water relationship. So happy they found love in the end. A short read and a must purchase. Looking forward to reading Kiera's story.

Awww, nice to be back in Maplesville again. Although this is a short book, the story felt really complete - if that makes sense. And it lived up to the title, because it WAS naughty! I kept saying 'This is Farrah Rochon?', because the book is kinda racy for her; but I LOVE racy, so it worked for me!Here's hoping that Kiera has a story. Can't wait for it!

loved this story. short sweet, but with enough meat to satisfy. Mason was freaking sexy as hell and Jada was completely loveable. Their backstory was exactly what i wanted in a smalltown romance. And Jada knew the struggle of being broke, broke, broke. AMEN! i can't wait to read another of Rochon's stories.

A Little Bit of Naughty was an entertaining and enjoyable read. Jada had to overcome her ex-husband's infidelity and marriage as well as deal with her growing attraction of Mason Coleman. Little did she realize her love hate relationship with Mason would turn into a wild freaky ride. This was a great story.

Heart warming story of love and protectionLoved Jada and Mason's story. Both still in recovery mode from past hurts, and not fully understanding the extent of their feelings for each other, they continually lash out at each other. Beautiful story of love and friendship.

Mason in my opinion was a real nice guy....loved his family. He felt he always need to be there for them each time but got his feelings hurt when he won't butt out. LOL Jada was sweet on him but it took years for them to find each other. really good love story.

I loved Jada and her sassy self in book one. She brings back the spunk in book 2. Her tenacious nature when life has kicked her down, was inspiring.Romance between enemies who aren’t really enemies made for a great time. And yes the title delivers.
