The Diary of Henry Myers Reviews
I enjoyed this book. There are some problems with it, specifically, there are some places where descriptions of flags and territories were confusing, and some minor grammatical mistakes. I found the book to be engaging, and could easily be expanded to have details of how Henry Myers was drafted into his nation's army, how he was part of the constitutional convention for that nation, and more about his experience in the war for independence. Overall, The Diary of Henry Myers provides an enjoyable reading experience. The Diary is a little light on details in some areas, a little heavy on details you don't really need to know about, but still enjoyable. It kind of reads like MY diary actually, without all the heroic stuff.I read this as part of my duties as a LAVA Award Jurist. This book was nominated for the award. http://www.lava-apa.org/p/lava-awards...
