Hot, Sexy and Lots of Fun!This book started fast and to the point, no boring moment at all. The story kept me engaged the whole time. Both characters are fun to read. At times they were just laugh out loud funny and sexy.Leo who is the son of the company owner, the boss of all the boss's. Not really looking forward for working for his father, he took the job anyway. Leo decided it was time to grow up and work a real job, he couldn’t be a bouncer forever. Leo is good looking and someone who never wants to be in a relationship. Even thought he was the only single one left out of all his married friends, he didn’t care. To him, freedom to do what he wants, when he wants is what he loves. He swore to himself, he will never get married. Also having feelings or caring for a woman, is not in his future. At least that’s what he thought, he thought he had everything figured out. Until he met her, everything changed. At first Hannah hated Leo for taking her job. He took the promotion she had been working so hard for, just because he was the boss’s son. Instead of becoming a manager, she ended up being his assistant. So she gave him a hard time, because she thought that’s what he deserved. Then the back and forth flirting happened. Their flirty banters were both hot and sexy and really fun to read. When they started spending time together and had lots of hot, adventurous sex, they thought that’s all it was. In the beginning they decided the best thing for them, is to become friends with benefits. To make that work rules were made, to not get too personal. Then their feelings started to get in the way, confusion sets in and neither one knew what to do.Will they continue on with their fun and adventurous sex, with no string attached?Or will they cut their friends with benefits status all together, before either one of them go deeper?Or will Leo and Hannah give love a try?Give this fun and sexy book a try and I’m sure you will enjoy it, as much as I did.

This book kept me laughing throughout the whole thing. I found the part in the elevator at the beginning hilarious. We have all made those embarrassing moments and poor Hannah just had to do it with her new boss Leo. I loved how you could feel the heat from the first time they met, and how they both fought it so hard. Now that's where I kind of stopped liking it.I wasn't a fan of Hannah dressing up like a sluty maid. To me that was just a little over the top. She didn't want to sleep with him or be with him, and yet she dressed that way? I also didn't understand why she would send emails between him and her to her company email. It was never really explained, to me that was horrible. All together this wasn't my favorite book. I'm glad that they got their acts together and lived a happy ever after life, but the mix in the middle didn't go for me. I also wished it was a little longer. To me it just felt rushed.

You know what I like the most from J.S Cooper books? that She doesn't need 300 pages to tell a good story. “I didn’t know that backstabbing in the corporate world started in those as young as twenty four. I thought it started when folks hit their thirties at least.”“Nepotism doesn’t start in the thirties, so why should backstabbing?”“So you admit that you’ve got a plan to backstab me?”“I don’t have a plan to do anything.”“I used to be a bodyguard you know, well, more like a bouncer, but I don’t take crap very well.”“Are you threatening me?” Her lips trembled as she stared at me with narrowed eyes. It took everything I had in me to not laugh. This girl was a spitfire. A real spitfire. She was going to make my first few weeks very interesting.Guarding his Heart is the book of Zayn’s best friend, Leo. Leo, as Zane, didn't like to do the "girlfriends thing" until…… He found the correct woman. Leo is a good guy but sometimes he can be an ass LOL. Fortunately, Hanna appears to master that horse…. Because she likes to ride… if you now what I mean. The relationship between them is so perfect… they’re “kind of honest” about what they expect from each other,.. even if the honesty is about sex. The chemistry between the characters is so hot that you’ll wish to have your own Leo.Even if he was a man whore…. He's the sweetest man in the worldI loved this book. I loved the characters. I loved everything. Once again J.S Cooper show us how complicated men in a funny way. I love her writing style and I loved every single Word of this book. I really, really recomend this book girls. You’ll love it <3Also, you will find out more about Zane and Lucky’s life :D

This is one of the worst books I ever read. What are these people smoking that they gave it 4-5 stars? The plot is terrible, the characters are awfully stupid, there is no chemistry just banter and then sex. They're supposed to be boss and assistant but all they can do is have sex everywhere they don't even try to work 'cause what's life without sex at breakfast, lunch and dinner? Who needs to work? There is one embarrassing bathroom airplane almost sex scene that it didn't even make any sense. This book is 90% meaningless sex scenes and 10% stupid banter.I gave up halfway through the book, I thought I could finish it but I couldn't.Even 50 shades is better written and I never thought I would say this ever!!P.S. I normally don't give reviews but I saw that this book had so many high ratings and I couldn't stop myself.

Oh Leo! I have always had a thing since I first met him in the Last Boyfriend. So, when I heard this book was going to focus on him, I was thrilled. We already know how Leo feels about falling in love, getting married and having a family... not going to happen. Between Zane and Noah, Leo has no desire to be "whipped". Thanks but no thanks is his motto; famous last words!Leo's father has had enough of Leo being a bodyguard/bouncer and has made him come and enter Corporate America as an executive manager in his company. Although Leo would much rather sit back and relax or surf, he knows it is time to man up and start to learn the company that he will one day be CEO of. Bright and early Monday morning, Leo is taking his first steps toward his future when a sassy and very beautiful lady shares the elevator with him. She, Hannah, asks if he is new and he says yes; this is all fine and good, except she doesn't stop there. She precedes to tell Leo that she cannot stand her new boss which just happens to be the CEO's son! She feels that he is an entitled spoiled rich kid ridding daddy's coat tails. Leo, of course, finds all this amusing. Imagine her surprise when he gets off on the same floor as her and he tells her his name is Leo. After a couple of seconds, she puts two and two together and she is mortified. That was defiantly quite the first impression. The banter between these two is thrilling. Leo and Hannah find each other sexy but due to the working situation, neither is willing to make the first real more. Leo just can't help himself; he is always making suggestive comments just to get a rise out of her. However, while on a business trip to New York, Hannah makes a move that will change their relationship. From the start, Hannah knows how Leo feels about relationships but she cannot help falling for him after spending so much time with him in New York. Leo, on the other hand, is having to come to grips with his feelings. The way he feels about her, well he has never felt that way about anyone. And just as these two begin to realize what they have could be deeper then expect, there is a bump in the road and that bump just happens to be Leo's father. These two are both strong-willed and independent, so when things threatens to end a good thing before it even gets started, they have to decide if what they feel is worth fighting for. Luckily for them, and us, Lucky steps in to help clear the air. With everything is out in the open, can Leo finally open his heart to love or will he always be guarding his heart?I love, love, love this book. The flirty banter, emails and texts are priceless. We not only get to know what Leo is thinking but also get to know what Hannah is thinking. Their dynamic is wonderfully written that you cannot help but fall in love with these two. Leo may have been the handsome surfer dude, but there is so much more to him than meets the eye. I love his complexity. Hannah is smart and witty and doesn't take anyone's crap. She fits perfectly with all the other cast of characters... Zane, Lucky, the twins, Noah, Robin and Skyler. Thanks JS Cooper for another will written story that fits into the Forever Love Series perfectly.

Guarding His Heart by J. S. Cooper is book four in the Forever Love series. I was really looking forward to this book’s release. The Forever Love series is one of my favorites and I loved the characters throughout the series. We met Leo Maxwell in this series. He is Zane Beaumont’s best friend. Throughout the series we got the impression that Leo was a pretty intense kind of guy. He worked as a bodyguard and came across as tough guy. Guarding His Heart shows another side to Leo’s personality.Leo has given up his job as a bodyguard to go back to work in his father’s corporation. It’s time for him to step up to his rightful place as the heir to his father’s empire. He took the job that his assistant Hannah rightfully deserved. No wonder she hates him. The two begin a very rocky working relationship. Hannah feels that Leo is not competent enough to take over this job. He gives her the impression that he is an easy going man whore that is more interested in getting into her pants than getting the job done. She has worked hard to get where she is professionally. She may have to look elsewhere for career advancement if Leo continues in the direction he is going. When a business trip turns into a disaster, Leo manages to make the most of it with Hannah. The two embark in a heated, purely sexual affair. They think they can keep their affair out of the office, keep it on friendly terms, with no commitments. Easier said than done. When their secret affair is exposed Leo will have to decide if he dedicated to his career or if he is a dedicated to Hannah enough to sacrifice his job.Guarding His Heart was a fluffy kind of romance. It showed the playful side of love. It proved that even the die hard bachelors can fall when the right woman comes along. I liked the lightness of this book. It was a fun read.

I received this as an ARC from the amazing JS Cooper and here is my honest review of Guarding His Heart.Leo Maxwell didn't want to work for his CEO father, but here he was in Corporate America again. Hannah Will worked for Maxwell Corp and was positive she was getting promoted to Account Manager when all of a sudden the bosses son came back and stole the job from her. On top of this, she was being made to be his assistant. When Leo and Hannah first meet in the elevator she tells him of her disdain for her new boss, not knowing Leo is him. Leo, though taken aback is amused by her and decides to keep her around for some fun. They have a wonderful banter between them. The more they work together, the more they become aware of a mutual attraction to each other. They actually start liking each each other. Leo, who has gone through a bad relationship in the past, doesn't believe in love or relationships, just sex. On a business trip to New York the sparks ignite and everything between them changes. Leo and Hannah start to have feelings for each other unbeknownst of the other. When misunderstandings happen between them, all they've started could come crashing down and cause Leo to once again guard his heart. This is a stand alone book by the marvelously talented JS Cooper. If you've read her Forever Love series you will be familiar with characters in this book. I loved this book and devoured it quickly. A sexy, steamy romance that will thrill you. JS Cooper always has strong, sexy and yet confused about love males in her books, who you can't help but fall in love with, Leo Maxwell is one of these. Hannah is a smart, feisty, independent woman I can relate to. A contemporary romance, with so much heat, you'll need a fan to cool yourself off. Another winner for JS Cooper. Get it today and start reading

As most people, who know me, know i absolutely adore the Forever love series and that is where we first met, the one and only Leo Maxwell, who happens to be Zane Beaumont's best friend. The one he trusted to watch/guard Lucky. Anyhoo.... Leo's dad wants Leo to work for the family company, Maxwell Corp, its not Leo's ideal job but he agrees that he can't be a bouncer/doorman for the rest of his life. On his first day, on his way up to the floor he meet Hannah in the elevator. Who is very vocal about her new boss and how he stole her job. Hannah doesn't know she is actually talking to her new boss. She'd never met him or knew what he looked like. Yet even then there is sparks of attraction with a hint of embarrassment. The chemistry between Leo and Hannah is intense. The flirty banter is cute, funny and sexy. Leo was already a well rounded character, who totally shone through. Yeah he was a little closed and guarded but he had been hurt before and didn't want to let anyone close again. Hannah is smart, witty and gives as good as she gets. Leo has met his match. I have laughed so much at Leo and Hannah's banter and at the text messages and the emails. Things like that make the story much more real and believable. There is some hot sexy scenes and a disastrous attempt to have elevator sex. Which had me giggling. Its good to read that not everything always works out in a book. The duel points of view are a very big hit for me. I enjoy finding out how the other person is seeing the same situation. It opens up a whole different perspective. I really enjoyed this book. I hope there is another book, maybe the wedding or a birth. I am not above begging, even on bended knees.

I completely LOVED this book! Flirty, sexy, with a hint of drama. I’ve been waiting for Leo’s story, and J.S. Cooper certainly did not disappoint. After years of staying away, Leo reluctantly returns to the family business, taking on the position of executive manager first, then one day CEO. On his first day back, he meets Hannah, whom he unknowingly took the position from. She is now an overqualified assistant...his assistant. She instantly hates him for who he is. The job that should have been hers was given to him just because he was the boss’s son. Leo is not prepared of her animosity, but she made his work day interesting. And even though he is attracted to her, he knows he had to keep their relationship strictly professional. However, all that changes on their first business trip.We first met Leo in The Last Boyfriend, as Zane’s best friend. We didn’t know much about him then, so I’m glad that he got his own book. I enjoyed getting to know him better. Not only was he hot and rich, he was also caring and surprisingly smart…the perfect package! I loved the fun, flirty banter between him and Hannah. It was great to see a strong female character. She was smart and spoke her mind. She didn’t allow Leo’s good looks and dirty mouth to distract her. Oh how I loved that boy’s filthy mouth! Aside from the underlying tension (from him taking her job), the attraction and sexual chemistry between them was undeniable! I’m so happy Leo found his special someone.Another great book from J.S. Cooper! I really loved the cameo appearances by Zane, Lucky, and the gang. I’ve missed them. I was actually a little sad when it was over. Guarding His Heart felt like the finale to the Forever Love series. It was bittersweet.

I was provided a copy of the book by the Author for an honest review.WOW I just finish reading this book and love it, I have to say I have read the last three books in the series, and I always love Leo and I am so glad that he got his story told, I love the characters, and love how the book turn out to be, I am gone keep this short since I don't want to give anything away. For those who had read the FOREVER LOVE series this is book 4 this is Leo story, Leo is Zane best friend. The story begging with Leo, its his first day on his new job, in his father company, Leo had always say that he don't do relationship, and that he will never get married or have anything series, than just to pass the time, well all that changes the moment that he gets in the elevator to go out to his new office, when a young lady walk in, they exchange some words, and she express her feeling to him about her new boss, that she haven't met, when they got off at the same floor and walk to the same place, that's when Leo ask for her name, that's when she say her name was Hannah, that's when Leo say I'm your new boss, and that's when they both realize that their world just turn up side down.I love the banter that Leo and Hannah have for each other, I love it when he say something and she goes and prove him wrong, I love how straight forward they are with each other, and let me say the Sex Scenes are HOT.I really love and enjoy reading this book, I couldn't put the book down, Author J.S. Cooper THANK YOU for giving me the chance to read the book, and for this amazing characters love it

Great book! (Read on Kindle Unlimited)Leo teases his friend Zane all the time about him getting married and settling down. He swears that is just not for him. After what happened in his past, he swears that he will be the eternal Bachelor. That is until he meets his new assistant, Hannah. When he decides to come back to work for his fathers company, he meets Hannah in the elevator on the way up to his office..and boy does she have something to say about the new CEO. Not knowing that the very man in the elevator with her is the one that 'took' her job from her, she just says what is on her mind. I can only imagine the look on her face when she realizes she was talking about the new boss, to the new boss! LOL!But, Leo is intrigued with her. She tells it like it is and she isn't afraid of him. She refuses to be his lackey, getting him his coffee and such, especially when she can do his job better than him. They can feel the attraction growing between them but is not sure if they want to start an office relationship. But of course, the attraction wins out and they decide to just keep a 'no commitment' office fling, little known to them, each other is exactly what they need!!This was truly a great HAWTT romance story, you will not be disappointed. :)

Have you ever just wanted to open your mouth and insert your foot? Well that's exactly what Hannah wanted to do after talking about how horrible her new boss is to the sexy man on the elevator. She went on and on about spoiled rich kids like the owners son. Well as it turns out, Mr. Sexy just so happens to be said new boss, Leo Maxwell. This amused Leo and he began a back and forth banter with Hannah including inappropriate sexual remarks. Leo is all about fun and sex, but no relationships. He's been hurt in the past and will not let another woman get to him. Hannah was so mad that Leo took her chance at a promotion. She was looking for ways to get him. After spending time together on a business trip, Hannah begins to feel differently towards Leo. They give in to their sexual tension and become "friends with benefits". Leo finds himself thinking about Hannah more and more and not just for sex. He really starts to open up until he finds out something that could destroy everything. Will Leo let Hannah explain or will he continue to guard his heart?

First off let me say this book was very funny along with very sexy. I had the pleasure of getting an ARC and was so excited I read this book in less the two days. Not only did I fall in love with Leo but with his story as well. As I was reading this book I was letting the words play a movie in my head.....I had all the characters picked out was really pulling for Leo get his life together. I also like that we got to see a little glimpse of Lucky and Zane. I thought the email exchanges were a fun way for it not to feel like you were reading a book and to help the reader connect with what was going on. I like that Hannah also was a spit fire and gave back just as good as she got. I like that she stood up for herself but also allowed herself to fall for Leo. J.S. Cooper is a genius at writing funny, sexy books that make you fall in love with her stories and characters. I cant wait to see what she comes up with next. Great book!!!!!!!

Guarding His Heart..WOW!!! You can't get any better than Leo. Leo is a bit of a rebel. A hot, rich gorgeous rebel. He briefly works at his fathers company to find he doesn't really fit in. He goes to work as a bouncer/body guard. I was first introduced to Leo in the Forever Love Series. Leo is Zane's best friend. We got to know very little about him, so awesome he got his own book. Leo grew up and matured a bit. With this he decided to go back to being CEO of his fathers company. He soon meets Hannah and quickly learns she had interviewed for the position Leo was handed. You know family nepotism. She's a bit upset at first. But quickly they realize they have great chemistry which leads into friendship and more. Great book JSCooper.

I enjoyed Lucky and Zane’s story but I absolutely love Leo and Hannah’s. This book was absolutely hilarious, if I wasn’t laughing at Hanna and Leo (the stallion) I was laughing at Lisa and Hannah. Hannah had no idea when she was bad mouthing the new CEO in the elevator that she was speaking to her new boss. Leo has Hannah right where he wants her and its funny to watch her try to rebel and resist. Some of the best parts in this book were definitely the texts/emails between the two. They say don’t mix business with pleasure but when you have Leo as a boss, business and pleasure goes hand and hand. This book is a standalone and definitely worth reading.

This book did not fulfill my expectations for this series. I was disappointed at the shallow nature of the hero, Leo. He had come across as the strong, silent type in the previous books, but in this one (about him) he came across shallow and smarmy. The story improved by the end, but I was still very disheartened by his preoccupation with sex...and the way the 'strong' lady became a sex toy so easily. The sweetness I expected did not occur and I remained let down. I hope the next book (not released, yet) in the series can tie all these characters up in a more loving way...not just in bed!

Nothing like a cat and mouse game! Leo and Hannah had that chemistry the moment they met in the elevator of Maxwell Corp. Leo being the "I'm never going to get married and have kids" persona sure did a 360. It was meant to be whether he liked it or not. Where Hannah lacked Leo picked up and where Leo lacked Hannah picked up. Their love was so sweet I nearly had a tooth ache. My emotions were all over the chart during this story. Who would have thought you were going to meet the man/woman you're going to marry in an elevator? Jaimie really hit this out of the ball park! Fantabulous story! My heart is still swooning over Leo and Hannah. **I was given a ARC for an honest review**

4 star fluffIf you are looking for deep characters, titillating dialogue, and a sweet romance, this book probably isn't for you. The story centers around a workplace romance, it's a whirlwind relationship with some improbable elements. Regardless, this book was a fun, fast read. The dialogue is flirty, suggestive, and silly at times. I like some light reading that's still written well, and this fit the bill. Really my only complaint is the last few chapters seemed crazy rushed, and it didn't fit with the rhythm of the rest of the book. As an aside, the book contains graphic discussions and descriptions of sexual acts, so if you are the type to be offended, don't download this book.

By the end of Chapter 1, our H (Leo) has made it loud and clear he's not interested in a relationship and he doesn't want to work for his dad... but he does anyway. In theory, he's destined for the corner office. We've also met our h (Hannah) who thinks she should have gotten a promotion to Leo's new job and yet she's so immature as to think it's appropriate to diss her new boss (uhhh, the CEO's son...) to a stranger on the elevator. Immature, green, unseasoned, yeah - I'll pass on this one. DNF

This was a fun sexy read.I loved the games Leo and Hannah played trying to get each others goat....their bantering was extremely lively, witty, and all too sexy!!You can just feel the heat these two generate with their attraction. They are so sexy and charming together so you just know that they were made for each other. An absolutely entertaining read with such well written witty bantering made this a joy to read. Could have been a little longer just so we could have enjoyed more of their bantering.

Wow. I am in love with Leo and Hannah. Now I know most of my reviews tell you how much I love JS cooper and all her books. But seriously this one is hittin close to home. Leo is just like my husband and I'm a lot like Hannah's character. The banter between the two are how my husband and I are. We still send messages like that and make sexy innuendoes. I absolutely love this book. Aside from the the obvious relationship between the two I loved how Zane, lucky, their kids, Noah, robin and skylar were all in this book! Thank you again JS cooper I love this book the best by far!

What an amazing book! I fell in love with Leo Maxwell! He was a wonderful character because he was funny and playful. How could Hannah Will not fall in love with him? Destiny brought them together and molded their hearts and souls together! I wanted to punch Leo's father in the begining, but when he realized how happy and in love his son was he changed his attitude and so did I. A Must read! If you have ever been truely in love this is the story for you! Thank you J.S. Cooper for this heart warming story. Can't wait to see what you come out with next! Love your books!

I received an early copy of Guarding His Heart, for my honest review. I really enjoyed how this started out with Hannah putting down Leo, without knowing she was talking to Leo, I would have loved to have been there to see the look on her face when she realized he was Leo. We also got to hear from our favorite couple, Zane and Lucky, and as always Lucky was playing matchmaker, but I wouldn't have expected anything less. As always J.S. Cooper has kept me hanging on the edge to see if they get together. Well, you'll need to read it to find out. I can't wait for your next book to come out.
