"Tattooed. Pierced. Shaved head, though right now he wore a black baseball cap pulled low over his eyes..." (Here's the casting for Seth ^^^)And yes, ladies, its THAT kind of piercing! *winks*Do I have your attention yet?? :D I loved this book!!!! The banter was pure gold, the story was sweet, the sex was scorching HOT HOT HOT and the characters were lovable. The hotness, and by that I mean hotter-than-hell-melt-your-panties-need-a-cold-shower-fanning-self-oh-my-god-H-O-T-N-E-S-S starts right in the first scene and only escalates from there. Seriously, talking about sizzling chemistry! I'm getting flushed just thinking about it!This book should be read near an AC vent, with several drool buckets handy. I mean holyyyyyyyy!!!! This is the story of Macy (Candace's best friend) and Seth (or Ghost as his friends call him). We were first introduced to them in Rock Me (which should absolutely be read FIRST!!) and are finally treated to their full book. Macy and Ghost come from two completely different worlds - they lead different lives, listen to different music, have different preferences... Its cautious country girl meets tattooed, pierced, musician/tattoo artist bad boy. "He was part of a world so separate from her own it would be impossible to bridge the chasm between them. He was heavy metal. She was all country, all the time. He wouldn't belong at a rodeo, and she wouldn't belong at one of his wild concerts where they probably sacrificed live chickens or bit the heads off bats onstage."But despite their outward differences, they are intensely attracted to each other and have both burned in the past making them a little wary of relationships despite both wanting to find their forever person. "I'll give you all the dates you want. But that cooling-off thing? I can't promise you that." I loved that despite the intense scorching hotness, this book wasn't just a hot ride. It had depth and a really wonderful plot and I loved that they each has issues to work through before they could fully make it work together. Their past relationship experiences had made them quite jaded and they were quite open with each other in the beginning - going into the relationship without taking anything for granted. “I don’t know what to say,” he breathed into her hair, squeezing the air from her. “Fuck. Just wait for me.”That was all he needed to say.“I will.” And for those of you Brian fans, you'll be happy to know that we get a continuation of his and Candace's romance in this book. Their characters were heavily featured not just as side characters but we also even got to see them work through some issues and figure out their happily-ever-after together even further. It was quite a treat :)Brian and Seth also have a very close brother-like bond that was highlighted a lot. They are true best friends - always having each others' back, helping each other, teasing, telling it straight... it was a wonderful addition to the story. “I’m hitting the sack”“Are you twenty-nine or sixty-nine?”The devilish dimples appeared. “Twenty-nine with a sixty-nine waiting at home” I can't even begin to compare Brian and Ghost. I won't even try. Both guys are absolutely swoony, gorgeous, tough-yet-soft, sweet, caring, and hotter-than-hot and yet, in many ways, different. Oh, and let's not forget that they are pierced. And yes, its down there. *drools*. I can't choose! I love them both. I'm so glad this was never a love triangle series because, if so, I'd never in a million years have been able to make a decision.Around the 75% mark though starts a whole bit of drama starts small but quickly becomes quite a big issue. Secrets, a serious lack of communication stemming from hurt and assumptions being made without talking things through. And I guess I found it a little frustrating how long it dragged out, but I did like that it forced them to being their true feelings out and learn not to hide from each other, because if they didn't, they both knew they'd lose what they had."I'm going to fix this, Macy. I don't care if we have to start all over again. I'll put the work in to rebuild it.... It's what I do, you know. I get rusted-out old heaps of junk back on the road, I turn scars into art. Maybe I get once-broken cowgirls back on the horse. I'll do the same for us, if you'll let me."There was definitely a HEA at the end but I guess my only real complaint was that I wanted a little more. I don't know... maybe a few extra chapters?Overall though, I totally loved it! If you want a romantic, scorching read that has depth to the story and isn't only about the sex, then you'll love this one! 4.5 stars! For more of my reviews, visit Aestas Book BlogAnd come join the Aestas Book BlogFacebook Page

4.5 breathless stars. Holy Hotness Batman!"When we're together, I want to take you places you've never been before," he said. "That's what I signed on for, remember? Don't freak out on me when I do it, unless you're ready to walk away from this whole thing."Dear Macy,I know being single on Valentine's Day sucks. You were in dire need to get laid by someone who knew how to do it right. And the right guy was about to walk into the bar as well as back into your life. It's Seth Warren aka Ghost. Seth is Brian Ross's best friend and employee who had managed to short-circuit your brain. You two shared a hot night a couple of months ago but that's all there was to it at that point in your life. Then again, you cannot deny that you are incredibly intrigued by Ghost even though you know that you two have nothing in common. Well, were you ever wrong, Macy.Enter Seth…Tattooed. Pierced. Shaved head. A rather huge man and very solidly built. A sexilicous specimen of a male miracle. *fans self*Dear Seth,I'm feeling kinda overwhelmed right now. Oh my, you are such a wonderful and memorable hero. Thank you, thank you! Why do house windows fog up, Seth? Yup. I'm gonna blame it on you. Hence, let's get it out of my system…here it is:Oh, Seth, please let's get naked and leave me breathless too!You didn't know what happened to Macy to make her go from the cool and confident woman to a wad of misery. You were trying to make her feel better again, and you wanted the confident woman back. That's quite a challenge since Macy was a tough little nut to crack. Good luck then, Seth!As a matter of fact, when you hooked up again you two set the rules. Just a little bit of fun, no strings attached at all. Although that kinda backfired, didn't it? You got to a point where it wasn't enough anymore. And Macy didn't want a revolving-door relationship either. As it was, you were very eager to live up to her expectations and I was so happy to see you guys together. Mmmm…Seth, you did amazing things to Macy. Wow, what a stunning blur of passion! But there's just something about hearing dirty talk coming from a nice, clean mouth. Any girl who says 'f@ck' every other word can tell me to f@ck her, and it's hot, but it doesn't mean as much as when you say it. If I can get you to tell me to f@ck you, Macy, f@ck you harder, f@ck you faster…you'd better believe you're going to get it. You're going to get everything I've got, and then some.Holy cow. The sex between you and Macy was darn hot. Yowza!"I'm not taking orders right now. If you want it, you have to ask me nicely.""Godda@@it! Please suck it.""That wasn't nice. You can't cuss, and let's make it interesting. You can't say 'suck'.""Hey now. You did."Her lips curled up. "My mouth. My rules."She was so going to get it later. "Macy, queen of my universe, I beseechingly request you place your sweetest of lips upon my manhood and make it your lollipop."And yet I loved to see that besides this incredible steam level, you're a guy who oozes tenderness. Honestly, I adored to see your vulnerable side. Well, and then wonders never cease, right? Which true bad boy would act like a wonderful gentleman, doing lovely things like holding a car door open for his queen of hearts? Helping her into her jacket etc.? Of course it's you. Baba was oh-so pleasantly surprised, I give you that.Seth, I was so sorry when (view spoiler)[your Nana died. Your pain was palpable and I really hurt for you. Oh yes, she gave you good advice, Seth. Your Nana was so right when she told you to chase after Macy. (hide spoiler)] Well done!"Jesus. I don't know how someone as beautiful and accomplished and awesome as you ever took a hit to your self-esteem. Can you explain that please?Without a doubt I was so relieved when you put her pieces back together. You just didn't want her to be afraid anymore, and thanks to you Macy got her self-esteem back.Seth, have you seen Macy lately? Macy, where are you? Are you hiding in your dark corner? Yes, I'm talking to you right now, babe. Come on over here…yeah, good girl. Ever since you got hurt, you've followed your head. You thought that the accident took away your identity. It made you afraid. But there is a time when you have to make a decision. Will you continue to be afraid of living your life or will you take up a dare? Don't you think it's time to follow your heart? Do the right thing, Mace, and throw caution to the wind! Yeah, you craved Seth's touch; he pushed so many buttons, didn't he? Just let. It. Happen. You know I'd've rated your story with five stars if the final 15 % would have been better. They fell kinda flat and were too anticlimactic for my liking. Additionally, I can't claim that I loved you. Shut it, Mace, I'm coming down to business now. Do you think a weepy and weak heroine with too much hang-ups is flattering or attractive? Don't let the anger leave you empty and lonely. And remember, things are not always as they seem. Love brings people together but trust is what is keeping them together. That said, you cannot live a healthy and loving relationship without trust. Hence, you shouldn't judge too quickly without knowing the real facts. What about your preconceived notions, huh? I know that you gave Seth the power to destroy you, however, you simply have to trust him not to do it. Furthermore, it didn't sit well with me either that (view spoiler)[your ex had to mess things up.(hide spoiler)] Your behavior didn't please me at all. In fact, you did not act very wisely, Mace. In the end though, you two dealt with your problems. Anyway, all's well that ends well.I wish you two a life full of love and trust.Take care, my lovelies.Baba xxxP.S. I missed your epilogue."(…)Because in the end that's all it'll be. Just you and me."["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>

***I will apologize in advance about my review. It will contain gushing, a lot of it. I can't help it. Cherrie Lynn books just do that to me. Okay!OH LORDY, THIS BOOK WAS BEAUTIFUL. I LOVED EVERY SECOND. EVERY WORD. DAMN, I HATE THE FACT THAT IT ENDED.He was part of a world so separate from her own it would be impossible to bridge the chasm between them. He was heavy metal. She was all country, all the time. He wouldn't belong at a rodeo, and she wouldn't belong at one of his wild concerts where they probably sacrificed live chickens or bit the heads off bats onstage."I love books where the author gives us a couple where you are unsure as to how they are going to make it work. Macy and Ghost (aka. Seth) are that couple. Cherrie Lynn in Leave me Breathless gives us a couple so off the charts opposite. Still, they worked. And it was beautiful. I'm still sighing, my heart's still pitter-pattering and my head is still in lala land!We meet both our hero and heroine in the previous story in this series, Rock Me. While it was nice to see Brian and Candace again and catch up with them, Seth and Macy had my whole attention. I loved their banter, I loved their chemistry and I loved how utterly sweet and swoon-worthy Ghost ended up being! Ghost has a past and a lot of scars from what he has gone through, a lot of vulnerabilities, and so does Macy. The fact is that these two see that in each other and help the other move past some of their past hurts and hang-ups.I need to mention that Cherrie Lynn should put a warning label on the cover of Leave me Breathless. It should indicate that this book is filled with explosive chemistry and hot, hot, hot sex! Damn! I was sitting uncomfortably in my chair for most of the book. You have been warned! If you have not read any of the books in this series, what the hell are you waiting for! They are pure awesome. I am hoping this is not the last we see of the couples in this series. Cherrie Lynn, please do not disappoint! I need more! Some favourite lines:"Damn, girl," he breathed. He sounded as ragged as she felt. "I think I can handle 'mopey-drunk' if you're also 'incredibly horny drunk'."*****"Oh, come on. Guys always know how big they are.""Big enough that I should tie a bow around it and attach a little card that says 'To: Macy. You're Welcome. Love, Seth'."*****There was little else he'd seen in his entire life more beautiful than Macy's smile.*****He might discover a love for her that would say with him for the rest of his life, if he kept this shit up. Beautiful, soft, sensitive Macy....a tough little nut to crack, but so warm and sweet once he did.*****She was so going to get it later. "Macy, queen of my universe, I beseechingly request you place your sweetest lips upon my manhood and make it your lollipop."*****Could he love this girl the way she deserved? He could love her with everything that he was, and still it wouldn't be enough. He would fuck up somehow, because that is what he did.*****"If I could give you anything, what would you ask me for?""I...don't...""You know. Look at me. What would you ask me for?"Her beautiful eyes opened, her gaze meeting his directly. The words came, the ones he wanted to hear, and he knew they were true. "You're love.""Hey, that's easy. Don't you know you already have it? So it's all good. Right?"The little throaty sound of relief that escaped her as he spoke was the sexiest thing he'd ever heard. Her fingers clenched tighter around the back of his neck, and he dropped his forehead to hers. "I do love you, Macy. I love you." His lips captured hers. "I love you.""I love you too."

Publisher's Warning: Contains explicit sex, graphic language, road trips, troublemaking exes, emotional baggage, and an unconventional but exceptionally hot hero tatted and pierced for your pleasure...And if that's not enough to convince you to grab this book, read on:Let me just start by saying; they don’t come much hotter than this. Or sweeter, or more romantic, or heartbreaking or inspiring… suffice it to say, Leave Me Breathless is more than I had hoped for, and well worth the wait!Leather and lace don't strike sparks. Or do they? It's Valentine's Day, but Macy Rodgers isn't feeling the love. Aside from a torrid, one-night fling in a backseat a few months back, her love life has been sorely lacking, but fortunately she has devious friends who feel like playing Cupid. Wouldn't they be shocked to learn that the match they've made for her is the same one that steamed up the back of that '69 GTO...Seth "Ghost" Warren has just returned to town after an extended absence. Between his grandmother's failing health, his job as a tattoo artist, his band's gigs, and a crazy ex that won't leave him alone, he's stretched thin. Cautious cowgirl Macy is the last thing he needs thrown into the mix. She's all country, he's all heavy metal—and Macy knows that if anyone can propel her out of her rut, it's Seth. But when their worlds collide, it's anyone guess if they'll survive with their hearts intact. It wasn't too long ago that Evan Ross, the sexy attorney from Unleashed, stole my heart when I read his story. Then Evan's brother, the hot, edgy, penis pierced Brian Ross showed up in Rock Me, totally sweeping me off my feet and I was certain I'd never love anyone more than him. But author Cherrie Lynn just couldn't leave well enough alone, could she? Nope, she couldn't, and so along came the inked, pierced, hard rockin' Seth Warren who has me scratching my head and asking myself, "Brian, who?" Yeah, go ahead. Call me fickle - I've been called worse.Anyway, Leave Me Breathless is such a great story. Seth is a tortured soul, and far from perfect, but it's his imperfections that drew me in, grabbed hold, and just didn't let go. Macy Rodgers has her own brand of torment to live with. I really did adore her strength and determination to overcome the things standing in the way of her happiness. And spending some time with those Ross siblings, Evan and Brian, and their women, was a lot of fun, too.The bottom line: Cherrie Lynn knows how to write erotic romance! The stories are beyond sexy and the characters are people I come to care about and cheer for. The only problem I have with her books is that as soon as I'm through with one, I can't wait to get my hands on the next! Write faster, Ms. Lynn!My thanks to Samhain Publishing for providing me with a copy of this awesome story for review. I loved every word of it!Side Note: For those interested in getting a visual of Brian's Apadravya, - his penis piercing - find yourself a secluded spot, make sure no one is watching over your shoulder, and click that link. Now, you tell me that's not all kinds of sexy!

Review posted at:Swept Away By Romance 4 1/2 to 5 SIZZLING stars!WOW! I devoured this book!Leave Me Breathless turned out to be every bit as good as I hoped it would be! I pretty much loved everything about this multifaceted, lyrical, sexy, passionate, angsty, riveting, alluring, humorous, erotic, heartbreaking, frustrating, romantic, and enticing story. The author captured the essence of the Seth (Ghost) and Macy, the hero and heroine, brilliantly. Although they both frustrated me at time, I couldn't help but be drawn to their imperfectly perfect characters. Seth (Ghost) was such a fabulous character. He's the quintessential tattooed bad boy who also had a gentle and chivalrous side that was as surprising as it was endearing. Macy was just as fantastic. She was strong-willed, endearingly snobbish, compassionate, and brave. In my opinion, what made them shine, both individually and as a couple, was their authenticity. Both were flawed, insecure, contrary, and human. They were real! Together they counterbalanced each other perfectly, making it next to impossible not to root for them as a couple. My only hiccup, and reason for the slight drop in rating, was the trite conflict that lead to the climax of the story. It felt too cliched for such a well written book. Other than that, I loved everything about this story! While I selfishly wished for a bit more ending-I wanted a peek into Seth and Macy's future–I still closed this book completely satisfied and more than hopeful for this couple's future. Oh man! I can't wait for the next book in the series.

4.5 I'll never look at Casper the same again StarsHow big is it?""Uh, don't you know?"I'm talking precise measurements.""Why, Macy. A nice young lady like yourself, asking such a thing. I'm appalled.""Oh, come on. Guys always know how big they are.""Big enough that I should tie a bow around it and attach a little card that says "To: Macy. You're welcome. Love, Seth."Sorry, sorry. I just couldn't resist. I was laughing at that quote for like 10 minutes, and that's the only mental visual I had. Well...that and then the mental visual of Seth's pierced gift with a bow. Uhem.I am kicking, seriously kicking myself for taking this long to finally read this book. I read the first 2 books in the Ross Siblings series when they first came out. Maybe the thing that held me off was the fact I didn't exactly love Macy after meeting her in Rock Me? She was just a bit too uptight for my usual tastes. Meh. Potatoes Potahtohs if you ask me. She was a righteous little nosy body in that book that kinda drove me nuts. But Ghost? Sweet mother of GAWD. I couldn't wait to get my hands on Ghost, and I couldn't wait to finally find out exactly what did happen in that GTO. (And if you're curious, I highly suggest reading Breathe Me In before reading this book) Now on to the review.Want me to describe Seth "Ghost" Warren in one gif?Ghost is a carefree bad boy. But still waters run deep with that one. This is a man that has been seriously wounded by love in his past. His crazy slightly stalkerish ex is the perfect testament that his taste in women mostly sucks. He doesn't want to get his heart broken again, especially not by a girl that couldn't be more out of his league than Macy Rodgers. Macy is a good girl. After seeing her friend fall in love with a guy that she believed at the time couldn't be more wrong for her, she's now eating humble pie...spending Valentine's Day by herself. The one man that won't leave her thoughts is also the one that couldn't be more wrong for her. And he's also the man she shared an unbelievable erotic night with in the back of his GTO right before he left town. But now he's back, and looking to take off where they left off.But what happens when lust begins to turn into something that neither of them expected? Can two people that couldn't be more different be exactly what they need for each other?I loved this book. I seriously freaking loved this book. I never thought I'd grow to like Macy, and I was so shocked when I not only began to like her but to root for her. She was nothing like the righteous little goody goody she appeared in the previous book. Ghost was absolute perfection. Tatted and pierced and lawd but the man had a mouth on him. And the two of them together?Devastatingly hot! They burn up the pages together. If you haven't yet read this, I'm not sure what you're waiting for. I guarantee you'll be kicking yourself for not reading it sooner just like I was.For more reviews visit

Love the book...hate, hate, hate this cover.Sigh. Someday my favorite smut books will have covers which don't make me want to hurl. This cover makes me think of a pro-wrestling couple. But anyway...cover aside, I couldn't NOT read Leave Me Breathless. This is the author who brought me one of my all-time favorite book men...the super-lovable, super-sexy Brian from Rock Me. To emphasize just how awesome Brian is, let's put this into perspective : Candace, the female lead from Rock Me is in my top 3 for most annoying heroines OF ALL TIME. Normally, a character who pushes me to want to commit incredible acts of violence would be more than enough to make me want to stop reading a book, yet I've read Rock Me 3 times now. THAT, my friends, is the power of Brian. There is something about Cherrie Lynn's way of writing which draws you into the story and makes you feel like you're right there with the characters. Whether the character is getting a tattoo, attending a rock concert, or having the best, mind-blowing sex of their life - you're right there along for the ride. It doesn't matter if the drama is over-the-top or there are a few cringe-worthy terms sprinkled throughout the sex scenes because you still feel. You want to be there. It's not hard to see that an author must have some sort of knack for pulling me in, if I'm throwing all of my "checklist annoyances" right out the window. This third book in the Ross Siblings saga might be my favorite in the series when it comes to story. Ghost still doesn't top Brian on my hot guy scale (Sorry, I'm just not a fan of massively buff guys wearing shirts that are too tight for them...the look is too meathead for my tastes. I'll take Brian's sexy hair and leaner frame any day), but Ghost and Macy had a more believable story with less ridiculous back-and-forth drama than Brian and Candace put us through.I thought it was adorable that Candace and Brian had a small part in getting Ghost/Seth and Macy together.Bless all their scheming little black hearts. The book itself had a nice little balance of plot to steam. We got rewarded early-on in the book, and there were plenty of hot moments sprinkled throughout the story. This is romantica (probably shouldn't use that term, since I think EC owns it, hah) at its best - good story balanced with great sex. I remember reading Rock Me (book 2) over 2 years ago when no one had heard of the book, and pushing it on most every romance reader that I knew as a nice bridge to erotica. It's nice to see that others have fallen in love with this series in the meantime. People have asked me about reading order and I'm going to be honest - I wasn't a fan of book 1, so I wouldn't personally recommended it (even though I have friends who liked it). The first book doesn't have the same gritty vibe that books 2 and 3 have and almost reads like a Harlequin romance. Since I started with book 2 and didn't feel like I'd really missed anything after going back and picking up the first book, I'd say that anyone new to the series should skip Unleashed and go straight for Rock Me. Tattoo parlors and rock concerts are far more exciting than book 1's hotel room interlude with a businessman *yawn*. If you've ever wanted to dip your toes into the steamier side of romance, this is the series to do it with. You'll have a lot of fun, trust me. Sexual tension is worth the effort when two people finally get what they've denied themselves for far too long.Please. I only want you. I've always only wanted you.

*squeeeee* to all my girlsthis was such a 'chick-lit, sexy-hot-uber-alpha-kick-ass-broken male, and strong, intelligent, beautiful, broken female story'.... and I FRIGGEN LOVED IT!!!Seth...WOW! I have SO many images of him in my head. The best way I could describe him is as this.and beautiful, strong, and insecure MacyThe story begins on Valentine's Day, and Macy is very sad because she's lonely and unhappy. She had an accident a couple of years ago that almost killed her, and since that time, Macy has become a control freak who wants to play it VERY safe in her life and in her relationships... that is why She doesn't understand her attraction to Seth "Ghost" Warren. Her best-friends boyfriend's friend and employee..who is also a 'metal-head', and tattoo artist (so not her scene).Seth seems to appear out of nowhere with Brian at the bar She's having drinks with Candace after being away for a couple of months to look after his sick Nana. (They had spent one night together before he left, and neither one has forgotten the attraction or how HAWT it was).He then crowds Mady into the booth and acts as if nothing has happened since he's left. He flirts and kinda lays claim to her when Her ex-boyfriend wants to dance with her. While everyone's talking, Seth is communicating in a 'totally' different way with Mady.In order to compensate for her arousal, Mady loses track of how much She's drinking, and ends up needing to get some air. Seth volunteers to 'step outside' with her. He takes her to his car, and show's her how much he's missed her.[image error]They both insinuate that this is just a relationship about 'sex' and Macy 'getting a little bit dirty' with Seth[image error]...little do they know that they've both fallen for each other, and it scares the hell out of them!Seth has been burned, and burned badly by someone he's loved, so he has the biggest wall around his heart..that he lets NO ONE IN.And.. Macy thinks they're all wrong for each other (she's country and he's heavy metal), and also she doesn't want to take the risk, or 'step out of her comfort zone' to experience the potential love Seth could offer her. They go through a period in which they hurt one another, and vent their frustrations, hurts, and fears to the point that there is so much distance..you think there's NO WAY the damage can be repaired. This story is such a story of love, redemption, forgiveness, and trust. Trust for Macy in herself, in her judgement, and in Seth. Trust for Seth, that Macy won't burn him like his last love...in the end, it's BLOODY BEAUTIFUL!!..this book wasAbsolutely adored this series, and can't wait to read more from Ms. Lynn.

Cherrie Lynn, I <3 you. Like, a lot. A LOT, a lot. Your Heroes ROCK ME and LEAVE ME BREATHLESS (Ha! See what I did there??;)!!! Can we be BFFs? Please?!?! Seriously, this story is everything I expected after reading Rock Me in 2010, and even more than I could have hoped! Leave Me Breathless stands on its own, and does it SO damn well. Characters? Story? Perfection! In every way. I absolutely *hated* to see it end, and I had the BEST time reading it!! Like Rock Me, it is multi-reread worthy, without a doubt!Me love. Book awesome. No more words. The end.GO!! RUN, PEOPLE! READ IT NOW!!!

Uploaded with ImageShack.uscover: 5 stars!steamy scenes: 5+++stars!plot: 4 stars!Another tattoed, pierced & now shaved hotness from this author. This is the story of Brian's bestfriend Seth/Ghost, and Candice bestfriend, Macy. One thing for sure from this author, she can write holy hotness steamy scenes...guaranteed!!! From first book to this 3rd. A lot of dirty talking smexy that can send you to La La Land!!lol...“She was so going to get it later. "Macy, queen of my universe, I beseechingly request you place your sweetest lips upon my manhood and make it your lollipop.” It's like another Romeo and Juliet, or if you read Rock Me another Candice & Brian, but with a new twist. Both came from different worlds but intensely attracted to each other. They started as a no string attach set up. and as I've mention, oh la la, why oh why, holy cow hotness tumble in bed... First half of the book I was just wondering if this book was purely sizzling hotness coz if that's the case I'll just skip some pages and proceed with the next tumble. Although there's a hint of something mysterious hidden, second half was the revelation. Macy suffered an accident which leads to depression that she pushed the people who was important to her including Jared, her childhood friend & first boyfriend. Who ended up married, have twins (who Macy now teach in horseback riding), now divorced and want Macy's back. While Seth have this seven years issue with his twin brother, Scott, and the girl he loved, Brooke. Macy is the one who left, and Seth is the one being left. “I don’t know what to say,” he breathed into her hair, squeezing the air from her. “Fuck. Just wait for me.”That was all he needed to say.“I will.” I love that this book was not only pure of hotness but also with humor, bickering from the equally hottie Brian and Seth, and of course, family drama. I like Brian more on this book & i love that Evan & kelsey also made an appearance. This book can make you breathless!:)“I’m hitting the sack”“Are you twenty-nine or sixty-nine?”The devilish dimples appeared. “Twenty-nine with a sixty-nine waiting at home”~oh Brian was the "man" on this book..super hilarious!!

4.5 Stars! You can come haunt me anytime Ghost!!“I don’t know what to say,” he breathed into her hair, squeezing the air from her. “Fuck. Just wait for me.”That was all he needed to say. “I will.”I’m like the last holdout on this book; everyone has read it except me, so no need to go over the storyline itself. What I loved most about this book is that Macy and Seth “Ghost”, remained true to themselves throughout the read and neither one expected the other to change! They could see and work past their differences; their perceptions, lifestyles, likes, dislikes, bring their two worlds together and fall in love. Beautiful…and oh so very HOT! Other than a somewhat contrived scene at the end… added for a dramatic effect, which in my opinion was not necessary or needed, the simple plot was holding its own…it was everything I wanted and needed from these two characters and definitely worth the wait! Seth “Ghost” Warren!!

Absolutely. Freakin. Loved. This!!! I loved Unleashed and Rock Me, but I loved this even more! I don't even know where to start. Usually, I weigh up what I liked about a book and then pick out things that annoyed or frustrated me... but I can't think of anything I didn't like about Leave Me Breathless.I wasn't sure I was going to like Macy, based purely on my assumptions from Rock Me. But I was completely wrong. For starters, I've ridden horses since I was three, so she instantly had points in my book for her love of riding. I've also had confidence crushing falls and I know how much it crushes you in every way imaginable, if riding has been something that has defined you throughout your life. I also loved her ballsy side! The way she dealt with Raina, for example, was brilliant."Stay. The fuck. Away from him. I might look like a wimpy rich bitch, Raina, but I only look that. I know people. I've wrestled animals bigger than you. And I can shoot.""You. Talked to Raina.""I did.""And there was no bloodshed, flyring fur, ER visits...?""I resent the implication that i can't conduct myself in a civil manner.""I'm implying that Raina can't conduct herself-""Oh, she took a swing, I threatened to shoot her... typical girl stuff.""Holy shit. You gotta be fucking with me."And then there's Ghost/Seth. Oh how adorable is he?! I was completely bowled over by his love and devotion for his Nana. So so cute. And I can't even begin to explain how hot he is! *groan* From the get go, the sexual chemistry in this book is completely mind blowing! Not to mention the piercing, the positions, Macy's introduction to the G-spot... and more, which all come later on. It was gooooood! He caught her wrist and pulled her until she was straddling him. His hand smoothed down the outside of her right thigh. "Thank you for wearing a skirt tonight. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.”One thing about these angsty romance books that pisses me off is when the characters create problems in their own mind and you just want to bang their heads together. But there was none of that in Leave Me Breathless. The characters had real issues to deal with, clouding their mind, getting in the way, etc. and the emotions felt real, not fabricated for the sake of book drama. It was also great to see more of Candace and Brian. I hope we get to witness more in the future. I'd love to read about their HEA.“You gonna marry her? This is the one out of seven billion?""It is. And I am. I've got to. It's like...sometimes...""Speak.""Sometimes I think I'm not going to make it another day without getting a ring on that girl's finger and changing her fucking last name from theirs to mine. I'm going to spend the rest of my life with her, and I want it to start yesterday.” In my opinion this was Cherrie Lynn's best book to date. Superbly impressed and can't wait for more!

Oh, Macy, you bad, bad, bad girl...I loved your hook up with Ghost but even more loved their journey! Holy hotness...I more than kinda like them both!If you have not already read Unleashed and Rock Me...Do so NOW! This great book comes out in November and you will want to read the first two in the Ross Siblings series...not because you will need it for this book, but you will be missing out on two really great books where these two are introduced.Seth is amazing, gorgeous, talented and so generous. He is a tattoo artist and so much more. He has some serious baggage and an ex from hell named Raina, but still he keeps his head up and a smile on his face. Until his beloved Nana has a stroke and drops everything to be with her in Oklahoma. Fast forward, or shall I rewind. He and Macy were hanging out and then, poof...she acts like he doesn't exist. And, then, he goes poof too...OK...Now, fast forward to Valentine's Day: lonely, sad and moody Macy knows her two BFFs are only trying to cheer her up. But, their love-struck attitudes are about the worst thing for Macy's night. Add to that, her "now divorced and back looking" ex is checking her out at the bar and boom, Macy into a full on funk. That is until Ghost walks through the door, sits down next to her and proceeds to drive her mad with his hand under her skirt. Not quite the romantic hook up I was expecting, but these two were hot. And who knew there was that much room in the backseat of a goat (a GTO for you non-muscle car girls)? As their sexual chemistry develops into more, Macy and Seth grow more scared about the other. Their insecurities and emotional baggage threaten to derail them constantly. I loved how one would take a leap of faith and then the other would and their relationship would grow and deepen. Macy grows and becomes the fierce woman she had been hiding inside all the time. I loved when she fought for her man! I would have loved an epilogue, but their HEA was awesome and I loved every minute with these two! Enjoy!

Two words for this one - HOT DAMN!!! At the risk of sounding totally lame, this book left me breathless. God, that did sound lame didn't it. But do you know what? I totally don't care, because I ABSOLUTELY FREAKING LOVED IT!This book follows on nicely from Unleashed and Rock Me, and in my opinion, is even better. Ghost and Macy were introduced in Rock Me, and there was a hint of something happening between them then. This book carries on from that, and it absolutely blew me away! Soooo much hotness!! I swear I spent most of this book fanning myself at the hotness that is Ghost, and the insane hotness that is Ghost and Macy together. In fact within the first 6% of the book they're already at it! For all of those Rock Me fans out there - yes, Brian and Candace are in this book - lots of Brian and Candace. As the respective best friends of Ghost and Macy, there is a lot of page-time with them both individually, and as a couple and their moments together are gorgeous as always. Evan and Kelsey from the first book even make a very small appearance. Seth 'Ghost' Warren (yes, you find out why he's called Ghost, and yes it's freaking funny) is another tattooed, pierced, guitar-playing bad boy. He's been hurt badly in past relationships, and is reluctant to get into anything too serious. He's also got a lot of stuff going on in his life that he's trying to deal with (a sick family member, band issues - yeah, he's in a band *swoon*, a friend with drug problems and, just to round it all out, a psycho ex). But he can't resist Macy and the intense chemistry between them, and within a few pages of him appearing in the book, he's already making his move! He's open, and honest, funny, and very caring and sweet, and I absolutely adored him!Macy has her perfect life planned out and, after a life-altering accident a few years earlier, she finds herself a little bit lost and now lives her life very cautiously. Just once, she did something wild, and that thing was Seth, in the backseat of his car. She can't forget about that night, or him, and when the gorgeous man himself comes back into town, clearly still interested in her and offering to help bring her out of her self-imposed cocoon, how can she resist (I certainly couldn't!). I really liked Macy. She is a bit lost, but she's still a strong character. I loved her honesty and her willingness to trust Seth, and the courage she shows in learning to go with her heart. “I’m turning over a new leaf.” He chuckled. The tip of his finger caught her under her chin, and it was enough to still all her movements. “Tell you what. If you need help with that, if you need someone to shut you up, or even if you just need to walk on the wild side every now and then… I’m your guy." These two together are just dynamite! The chemistry is off the freaking charts. The sex scenes are really steamy, and there are plenty of them, but they are beautifully written, and you can really feel the emotional connection that was going on between them. Just... Damn! But behind that is the underlying friendship, respect and genuine like that they have for each other. They both care deeply for the other, and with all of the things going on in their lives, they get the opportunity to be there for each other, providing encouragement and support, as well as maintaining a fantastically fun relationship with lots of teasing and joking (and hotness... did I mention the hotness?). But, inevitably, with all of the dramas going on in their lives, as well as the obvious divide between their worlds, the set up is there for conflict, and conflict there is. And the question is - what happens to them when all of those pressures come crashing down?Told in dual POVs, we get to follow Seth and Macy's romance from both of their perspectives - from their steamy beginning, watching them fall hard for each other, and through the issues that they face as they struggle for their HEA.This was a gorgeously romantic, sexy story with lots of funny moments, a bit of drama, and characters that I loved instantly. I thought the ending was a bit abrupt, and would have liked more resolution, and more of a 'finished' feeling to the story, but the rest of the book was so good, I was able to overlook it :)4.5 stars - rounded up due to Seth and all of the epic hotness!

I consider Cherrie Lynn my personal gateway drug author. In September 2011, I read my first smexy book (post Fifty shades of Grey), Rock Me. To say I was hooked is an understatement. Back then I was in the infancy stage of my reading addiction. In fact, I would have coined it more as a new hobby at the time. I had owned my Kindle for about 6 months and had just started buying books and getting used to the idea of reading contemporary romance novels. I had read Beautiful Disaster and some other New Adult contemporary romance books but hadn’t ventured into adult/erotic romance. Then BAM I was introduced to the Ross Siblings and the rest is history (the hobby has now morphed into a full blown obsession). After I read Rock Me & Unleashed, I emailed Cherrie Lynn and asked when she would be writing Gabriella’s story (Brian & Evan’s sister). At the time she was nowhere near ready for her story and was toying with the idea of writing a novella for Ghost & Macy. I was disappointed; I was so blinded by Brian that I hadn’t really paid much attention to Ghost in Rock Me. Then as the months went by Cherrie Lynn started posting teasers on her website and I immediately started warming up to Ghost & Macy. Never did I think Ghost & Macy would draw me in like Brian & Candace. Oh boy was I wrong. This book embodies everything I love about romance novels. When I finish her books I am left with the afterglow of a swoon fest. For me, Cherrie Lynn can really do no wrong. She writes Heroes and Heroines I like. Her characters don’t do stupid and they don’t do misunderstanding/communication breakdowns that take up the entire book. Her characters are communicators. They put themselves out there time and time again. Yes, they face obstacles but they don’t play games. I think the talent I appreciate the most is how she writes the smexy scenes. Not only are they off the charts HHHHOT, they are written in a way the reader can feel the characters connection to each other. They are not thrown in as gratuitous sex-athons; they are written with emotion and allow us to witness the intimacy of the developing relationship. In my opinion, her mix of Steam and Romance is perfectly balanced.I did not want this book to end. I wanted more Ghost & Macy. Also, I loved getting a glimpse of Brian & Candace (I LOVE me some Brian Ross) but honestly, Ghost & Macy’s story alone had me hooked right from the get go. Each chapter just got better and better and the end left me with a huge smile on my face. We waited an extremely long time for this book and it was beyond worth the wait.My only complaint about this author is that she needs to quit her day job so she can focus on feeding my addiction for her writing. PS. I have seen quite a few questions about if the first two books in the series need to be read before reading Leave Me Breathless. My answer: Why wouldn't you want to prolong the pleasure of reading the entire Ross Siblings series? However, if you're just too anxious I would say you should at least read Rock Me first. The characters from book 1 & 2 carry over and Ghost & Macy are built up in book 2 so you'd be missing out on some goodness & character development if you skipped Rock Me.

There are so many other great reviews for this book...I'm just going to say my little piece and move on. I loved Seth (Ghost), and I loved Macy. I think it totally rocks that Macy is a former rodeo cowgirl and Mace is a sort of metal rocker tattoo artist...talk about opposite ends of the pond!I loved how their story played out in Brian and Candice's book...the good girl girlfriend who cautioned Candice during her and Brian's entire tumultuous courtship ends up in the back seat with the ultimate bad boy of the tattoo shop! I loved it!!!! Now, I may be partial to the tattoo shop setting because my DH used to be a tattoo artist. So I felt right at home amidst the needles and ink. It really is a world unto itself, but for the most part the boys are teddy bears and family men. Seth is such a great guy despite his looks and his history. His stalker psycho ex girlfriend and his messed up family only cement my adoration of him. He's so gentle with Macy...he knows that she isn't used to his world. But this is a couple who just fits each other. I agree with the many, many reviews who tout the hot sex in this addition to the series....Cherrie Lynn sure knows how to get the libido started! While Evan and Brian's books were smokin', she turned it up a notch with these two!!! And for those hard core Brian lovers out there, the man more than makes a cameo in this book...he's one of the stars, along with Candice, and instrumental to Macy and Seth's relationship. It's not often that you find an erotic author who also tells a really wonderful, gripping contemporary love story but Lynn has done it yet again. It's no wonder she's so popular. If your concerned about the hype this series is getting, as I was a couple of months ago, I'm telling you that this series deserves the hype!

Okaaaay, this was one seriously hot book. Ghost is definitely one alpha-male to meet and I’m having an intern fight between choosing between him and Brian. Believe me, it’s a tough call. So this is the story of Macy (Candace’s sometimes bitchy best friend) and Ghost, Brian’s best friend. They have a one-night-stand and things start to change from there. She believes that they come from different worlds and will never work out, he was already burned and his afraid of giving himself. Yeah, they’re both kind of messed up, but I’ve got to say that they have a great chemistry. Macy frustrated me in several moments but I was able to like her anyway… and Ghost, well, what’s not to like, right? :D There was a lot of Brian and Candace and some tearful moments and it was great. This was sweet, steamy and basically everything we want in a book. You may read it, now.“Let it go. That’s my philosophy: learn to not give a fuck, at least about petty shit. Life will be much simpler.”

Kindle was steamin'!!!!!!!Also posted at: http://realitybites-letsgetlost.blogs...5 StarsMy Thoughts:Cherrie Lynn hit a homerun, slam dunk, ace in the hole or any other analogy that says…..IT WAS A FREAKING AWESOME BOOK!!!! This was me reading it:The way Cherrie writes is so intriguing. It pulled me in, wrapped its claws around me and wouldn’t let go! And I LOVED the scratches! Ghost—Seth---OH. MY. GOD! Pierced…tattooed….bald…muscles….goatee….rocker….sexier than hell! OH my…give me a minute…..(Breathe….Breathe….) Okay..I’m better…kinda. We first met Ghost in Rock Me (#2 in the series) as Brian’s best friend. Ghost may not be a “Ross” for this series, but who the HELL CARES! I loved how he was the badass with the I don’t give a shit attitude, but underneath he’s a totally compassionate, loving, heartfelt man, whose terrified of getting hurt. Ghost’s loyalty to Brian was so admirable. I loved the banter between them. “Ghost leaned across the table toward Candace and Brian. ‘Candace,’ he said, and for a moment Macy thought he might actually say something sincere. No such luck. ‘I really advise against leaving him alone with me again. Two hours away from you and he was coming on to me.’ Everyone else at the table broke into laughter. It only egged him on. ‘I mean, I know he wants me. He’s made it clear. And I’m growing weak, I tell you. I missed him. If he does it again, I’m gonna give it to him.’ Brian was shaking his head. ‘God, we missed you,’ Candace said.‘Did we?’ Brain asked.”Or“’Look at him pout. Don’t pout dude. Ross the boss will get the job done.’‘A helluva lot easier if I had the Ghost with the most at my side.’‘Aw. Is that a proposal? See how he loves me? Candace, you don’t stand a chance.”We learn so much about Ghost –his name for one Seth. Cherrie did an amazing job with character development making it very detailed and enthralling! He has so much depth from hurt, joy, addiction, family, loyalty, happiness and on and on!Surprise! I loved him!Macy had the biggest splintered stick up her ass in Rock Me. She drove me crazy in that book. I’m so happy I got to learn more about her and even began to like/love Miss Killjoy! The reasoning for Macy’s stick actually surprised me. I wouldn’t have thought it, but it fits! Honestly, I believe I liked Macy because of what Ghost pulled out of her and helped her to become. I love, love, loved that we learned more about Candace and Brian’s story too! That continuation made my heart flip!My absolute favorite thing was the after sex chats. They were so real and I learned so much about them and their flaws. Even though I kinda knew, or felt I knew, what was going to happen at the end—for me the author threw in a whammy for me that I wasn’t expecting with Macy showing her kiss-my-ass-and-you-listen-to-me attitude. It made me love her!Overall, excellent, fantabulous, awesomely well written book from Cherrie Lynn!! I highly recommend reading this one! I freaking loved it! I hope to god there is another one in this series!! Who it would contain...no clue..but I'd hate for this to end!PS…I need to run out real quick and get me some red panties… shhhhhh…Also, not a huge fan of the cover. That to me is not Macy or Ghost. I have a lot hunkier in mind!

Fucking tattoo bald hot ass dude + hot chica who can hold her own= fucking hot smokin sex(the author knows her shit), little drama, hot smokin sex, real honest talk, dirty talk and fuckin hot smokin sex. I absolutely loooooved this story. Best one yet!Favorite lines:He didn't discriminate based on his preference, but he rejoiced when he found perfection. She was it."You can't possibly be ready to go again," she said. At that, he rose up on his knees and guided her hand to his erection."Does this look not ready to you?""My God. You're supernatural.""Or you are. It's all you, baby.""Macy, queen of my universe, I beseechingly request you place your sweetest of lips upon my manhood and make it your lollipop.""That movie fucking sucked, dude.""Your face fucking sucks."...Reminds me of my sistersAnd I love love love in the end when Seth meets Macy's parents. This book goes as one of my top reads of 2012.

The best book of the series so far! Holy crap this book was amazing... I know I'm rambling, sorry. LOL Seth just became the first hero of 2013 for me and he's set the bar pretty damn high. He's absolutely out of this world. I don't even know how to describe just how much I love him. I wasn't sure about the shaved head and goatee, at first. But that combined with the tattoos and the sexy piercings... I was warming up to him. Then we got to know him, and I was done for.I'll explain more... I will admit that I wasn't a very big fan of Macy when I started this book and there were times during, when she still pissed me off. But overall, I love her with Seth. What annoyed me about her in the beginning was the way she acted like she was so much better than Seth/Ghost. She was more than happy to have 'mind-blowing-sex with him. Then she would say/think something like this...'Seth was a guy she wouldn't want to be with long-term.'Why the hell not, missy? Why are you any better? Also, the way she kept making problems up. Any relationship in the entire world could end, for any reason, big or small. It doesn't matter that he's fantastically crazy, covered in tattoo's and not exactly the picture perfect man you'd thought you'd end up with. But he's incredible. He loves so fiercly, he's passionate and caring, devoted and would give you a life you could never have imagined. So shut the fuck up, stop making problems where there are none and let him love you. Once she pulled her head out of her arse and got some of her old confidence back, she was amazing. What I loved the most about Seth? Well, expect for his sexy, dirty mouth you mean? How can you resist a guy when he talks like this..."I remember how many times you came. I felt it each time, how tight you squeezed me and how wet you were. I remember you breathing in my ear, your begging, your nails clawing my back." Fuck me... *sticks head in bowl of freezing water* LOL But it's his beautiful vulnerability and honesty that made my heart melt for him. 'What in the ever-loving fuck could possibly be so appealing about him that another person would want to spend the rest of her life with him?'Everything, Seth. *waves hands high in the air* Me, Seth, pick me!* '"You would wreck me, you know that?" "What?" "If you ever run some shit on me like she did. I've known it from the start. I guess I'm a glutton for punishment. I've crashed and burned too many times, but here I am, asking for more."'I love him! *swoon* I loved the story of how Seth became 'Ghost'. I won't spoil it for you, but its frickin hilarious :) It was great seeing Candace and Brian again. Brian and Seth have such a fantastic friendship. They've been there for each other through some really rough times and came out the other side, together.Their banter had me laughing out loud... Seth to Candace - '"I really advise against leaving him alone with me again. Two hours away from you and he was coming onto me". Everyone else at the table broke up in laughter. It only egged him on. "I mean, I know he wants me. He's made it clear. And I'm growing weak, I tell you. I missed him. If he does it again, I'm gonna give it to him." Brian was shaking his head. "God, we missed you," Candace said.' The angst filled ending was draining, as readers, knowing the truth and just waiting for them to catch the hell up was annoying. But totally worth it. I liked that although Macy's parents were rich; they were still down to earth and wanted the best for Macy. No matter what he looks like or what job he has. As long as he makes her happy, they're happy. Her dad was funny too...'Yep. Everything was going to be fine."But I do have one more question," Dad said. He waited until the suspense built for a minute. "What the hell happened to your hair, son? Oh. No. He. Did. Not. Seth passed a hand over his head and grinned, unfazed. "I did this deliberately, Sir." He gestured at her Dad's shiny dome. "What's your excuse?" Freaking. Hell.'Favourite Scene: There were so damn many to choose from, but I think I have to go with the scene where after fucking each other senseless all night... At like 3am they're eating sandwiches in the dark and Seth picks up his guitar. He over-rides his love of heavy metal and sings 'Sweet Home Alabama' for her. Just remembering the opening few seconds of that song makes me grin like an idiot now :) It was an amazing scene. I cannot wait to read the next book in this series.

4.5 stars!See review at http://totallybookedblog.com/2012/10/... Joint reviewed by Jenny & Gitte.Gitte: Oh how I have waited for this book Jenny. I love this Author, her stories and characters are LUSH! I have LOVED Brian Ross since Rock Me and I was looking forward to catching up with him and to hear Ghosts’ story. Well move over Brian Ross and ummm…HELLO Ghost!!!! HOT!!! Fickle…me?? Hell yeah!Jenny: Hell yeah! It seemed to take forever for this one to arrive didn’t it Gitte? Have to agree with you …..move over Brian indeed! There’s a new tattooed hottie in town and his name is Ghost! It’s not fickle at all GG, it’s a woman’s prerogative and all that…..it’s a good excuse so let’s run with it!Gitte: Leave Me Breathless is Book 3 in Cherrie Lynn’s Ross Siblings series and tells the story of Macy and Ghost and it has everything that makes for a fab un-put-down-able book. So quick re-cap: Macy is best friends with Candace. In Rock me they went to a tattoo parlour owned by Brian Ross. Rock Me was the story of Brian and Candace. Ghost (Seth) is best friends with Brian and is a tattoo artist in Brian’s parlour. Macy met Ghost for the first time in Rock Me for one night of passion and to say these two are like night and day is an understatement. It’s been a while since they last saw each other when they end up together again on Valentine’s day.Jenny: I loved how this book was quite separate from the last one, yet we still had all our favourite characters so were able to charter their journey as we read. Geez…..that one night of passion! Holy hell, you’d definitely be hitting him up for more of that!Gitte: Macy is a country girl at heart; she is very straight and narrow, not into “the crazy and loud”, the tattoos nor the bad boys. (yeah…what the H is wrong with her lol). She has a real hang up about how different her world is from the one Candace is in now, but more importantly Ghost’s. She can’t see herself in Ghost’s world or him in hers so she believes that nothing can ever come of how he makes her feel.Jenny: Yes, Macy definitely had a lot to say about Candace and Brian’s relationship and although she knows Candace adapted to it because of her love for Brian, she can’t see how anything could alter her view on how she feels about not fitting in in Ghost’s world.Gitte: Macy has a screwed opinion of herself. She believes herself to be boring, straight laced and not interesting enough. Yet she is drawn to Ghost. He brings excitement to her dull life; he makes her feel alive despite it being wrong in her opinion. Ghost is the “spice she craves”. Macy believes that the only kind of relationship she can have with Ghost is one based on hot sex….and seriously this Author knows how to write that huh Jenny?!Jenny: Whoa Gitte, that is an understatement!! The sex was soooo hot! Yes, Macy certainly sees herself very differently from how Ghost sees her and it’s wonderful to watch how Ghost tries to alter her view and have he see what he sees when he looks at her. Oh yeah, and she certainly picked a “master” to teach her about all that spicy stuff! YummmmyGitte: Macy also over-analyses every possible guy as the possibility to be “the one” trying to fit him into her categorized box of must have attributes…almost a test of endurance. She is judgemental and she knows it. At times I was shouting at her to lighten up it was almost too much!Jenny: I really liked Macy, but yes, at times I wanted to shake her and tell her to get a grip. Ghost was amazing and she was a bit judgmental.Gitte: She comes across as a bit of a bitch; a snob with an attitude. However, deep inside Macy is scared and insecure. She went through a traumatic incident which caused her to erect walls in order to protect herself and she over compensates for it. Ghost sees the real Macy though. Underneath her armour he knows there’s a passionate and sexual woman and he likes what he sees and what is underneath. He realizes her self-esteem is virtually rock bottom and makes it his mission to show her what she really is. Not what her accident made her into. Ghost takes Macy out of her comfort zone.Jenny: Yes, her upbringing and her past relationships have been a bit stifled and Ghost is so far out of her comfort zone which makes for a great story! She doesn’t have a great opinion of herself and it’s up to Ghost to bring out the sexy, passionate, funny woman that he sees in there somewhere. Ghost is absolutely outside her comfort zone and oh so naughty!Gitte: Now Ghost/Seth…*sigh*. I am almost speechless! He is a tattooed, heavy metal, bald alpha rocker. Yeah I said bald…I have never found a bald head attractive before…but Ghost yeah he totally made bald sexy and I want to do all kinds of naughty with that one!Jenny: I’m speechless right along with you GG and yes! Never have I been attracted to a bald head hero…..well, not that I can remember and definitely not one as sexy and naughty as Seth/Ghost. Geez…..speechless is right!Gitte: He comes across confident and self-assured. However, he too has had a traumatic past and was dealt a pretty bad hand which makes him think he is not good enough for Macy or anyone long-term. The only constant in his life has been his Nana which shows his caring soft side. He has this tough and sexy exterior but at the same time this endearing vulnerability. He is pretty perfect. Ghost is loyal and protective of those he cares about, he also has a great sense of humor Oh and he is a filthy talker…the way we like them right Jenny, though Macy is not convinced at first.“Macy, queen of my universe, I beseechingly request you place your sweetest lips upon my manhood and make it your lollipop.” – Ghost trying not to cuss…loved this quote!!Jenny: Seth was such a wonderful character. He had it all. He was funny, sexy…..definitely knew how to pleasure a woman (wow…again…hot sex scenes…bravo Cherrie Lynn!) had so much emotion, was deeply scarred, compassionate, even romantic yet with a tough exterior……yep, how can you not fall hard for this man! Oh yes GG, EXACTLY the way we like them. Darn it…are we shallow? HeheI absolutely loved the camaraderie and humor between Ghost and Brian – these two had so much presence together that I found myself looking forward to their interactions.Ghost to Brian, claiming he’s pussy whipped:“Aw, I’m sorry. Do you need a hug, emo boy? You know, you might want to cross your legs. Your vagina is showing“Gitte: My heart broke at Ghost thinking he didn’t deserve “the good”.“You’re just going to leave me too” – GhostJenny: I really did feel so much for Ghost, his demons and what he had to go through emotionally with his family and with Macy. It was heart-breaking and I really did love how Ghost’s back-story was unraveled - I was totally immersed in their story.Gitte:Oh Jenny I completely felt these characters. They were written so vividly and the emotions involved between these characters, I felt it and lived it with them. I actually ended up loving Ghost and Macy’s story more than Rock Me….which is saying something for how fabulous this Author is. It was an addictive, sexy and emotional read and I loved Ghost and Macy’s journey!Jenny: I was right there with you Gitte! This story never lost me. I felt everything these characters felt and I was absolutely consumed by them. I have to agree. Definitely my favorite book so far. I loved their journey…..from the highs to the lows and back again and from the humor and emotion to the absolutely off the charts smoking sex!We were given an ARC by the author for an honest review.

5 Hot and Sexy Stars!!! Ghost and Macy may seem like opposites, but opposites do attract! I am a huge fan of Rock Me, Brian is one of my favorite guys ever... but I do believe as much as I love Brain... he has been replaced by non other than Ghost... I LOVED HIM! 'Macy, queen of my universe, I beseechingly request you place your sweetest lips upon my manhood and make it your lollipop.'Yes! Loved it!!!!!Seth and Macy... Seth aka Ghost is another hot and sexy tattoo artist and Brian's best friend (Love my tattoos and piercings) and Macy is Candace’s uptight best friend. I was so pleasantly surprised with Macy. I really liked her. She annoyed me a bit in Rock Me, as did Candace (too wishy washy) but Macy was great. She is tough and goes after what she wants! Ghost was just so much more than he appears to be... and he is oh so yummy! The scenes between them were super hot, and the story was great!‘If I could give you anything, what would you ask me for?’‘I... don’t...’‘You know. Look at me. what would you ask me for?’
Her beautiful eyes opened, her gaze meeting his directly. The words came, the ones he wanted to hear, and he knew they were true. ‘Your Love.’‘Hey, that’s easy. Don’t you know you already have it? So it’s all good. Right?’The little throaty sound of relief that escaped her as he spoke was the sexiest thing he’d ever heard. Her fingers clenched tighter around the back of his neck and he dropped his forehead to hers.‘I do love you, Macy. I love you.’ His lips captured hers. ‘I love you.’‘I love you too.’ Ahhh swoon worthy too! Pick up this book! It was great, you won’t be disappointed!!!
