Scott: 20 years ago he was sure that he had found the perfect love that everyone, man or women, in the world looks for, then it slipped through his fingers as she ran on very cold feet. It has made him angry. It has made him cold in his rage. Armida: She had found the perfect man. He was everything she ever wanted or needed, no matter that her family did not like him as much as she had hoped. Then he changed and became so different that she was scared of losing everything she was to his very dominant heart. No matter how much heat she brought to the table, the fear of the dark and unknown would not leave her. 20 years have passed and the world has moved on, they had moved on. But sometimes the world knows you have to look back and understand the past, before the future can be lived. Enjoy the ride as they fight for their rights in a world where Vampires are more accepted than they are. Love in a world where finding a mate could be a death sentence from her people, and that is just a typical Monday. Welcome to the world of the Michigan Shapers....

Fire and Ice (Dark Dreams, #1) Reviews
Fire and Ice is an intriguing paranormal romance involving different factions of Shape shifters, Vampires, Fae, and humans. I thoroughly enjoyed the interplay between different fantastical species and find interest in the relationships that are formed. I give the book 2 thumbs up and recommend it for anyone who enjoys reading paranormal romance.
If you like shifters then "Fire and Ice" is the book you have to read.I can't be fair in this review of the book but still...its a book you have to read.Toni and Shawn have made an amazing job.For those who don't know much over the book let me tell you how it was written. All of this started some years ago when our writers and some other people(and i have to say i am proud that i was one of them) started an rpg(role playing game)with shifter, vampires, fay and all sort of supernatural beings. There we met lark and Akala, shawn ,Armida and Scott, mystery and many many other characters of the book series.Lots of people were involved each one of them playing a character and then it was when our writers decided to take those stories and transform them into a book.In this book we learn about Akala and Lark,a shifter and his demi fey mate and about Scott and his mate Armida.Besides politics and meeting all our characters this book focuses on the story of Scott and Armida. We see how a band of coyotes is run and how a pack of wolves is run also we get a glimpse of the Vampires and we see alot of the politic games in between the races. The world building is fantastic and real and you can actually see how well researched it is due to the details we get through the book.Really a book that from the first page till the last kept you in agony with laughter brakes and anger and frustration. There were points were you want to kick almost everyone and other times that you just wanna join in the pile of hugs.Finishing all i have to say is that i can't wait for the next book to come to my hands.A MUST read!
I really enjoyed reading the book. The story flowed together a lot better than some other writers out there. You really should get a copy and add it to your collection!
