Survival Techniques Reviews
This book is called "Survival Techniques" by Alexander Stilwell. "Survival Techniques" is a non-fiction book that teaches you certain survival techniques that you will need to use in order to survive in the wild. This book has many techniques that you can use from surviving in hot and cold climates to creating weapons and fishing rods from wood. This book is a twist in Alexander Stilwell's work since most of his work is based off of military criteria. This book has many sections that can help you in this book. It starts you out by teaching you to build a survival kit and what you will need in it. It then takes you on how to survive in hot, cold, tropical, and mountainous regions and what it takes to survive in them. After that it takes you into a few sections on how to make certain items if you do not have the equipment. In the final section of the book it teaches you self defense skills that you can use in an urban scenario. My overall impression of this book was very high. I very much enjoyed this book because of all the information this book can give you. This book was very factual and will definitely read it again. The book was also very interesting considering how much it pulled me in. What I learned from this book is that survival is not just making sure you stay alive with what equipment you have. This book taught me that survival is mental just as much survival as is physical survival. In conclusion this book is a great book that can teach you a lot. It will teach you that survival is not just physical, but mental and emotional too. I feel like this book would be a high school level book because of all the long, complicated words in the book. My advice is get through the first page of this book and the rest is very interesting. I overall very much enjoyed this book.
