Since I'm well on the way to being considered "vintage" by some, the title of this book caught my attention. While the characters were likeable enough, the book had too much going on and was all over the place. The writing style and storyline were very juvenile, and it all turned out to be a big disappointment in the end. Maybe I was expecting too much, but this could have been so much better.

Hmm I wasn't sure what to make if this, though I did enjoy it enough to finish it. Think it's probably aimed at readers about ten years older than me - chick lot for the WI! I didn't much like the main character, who i felt was a snob with a superiority complex - in fact I spent the entire book thinking she was very like someone I know! Easy enough read though.

As an almost 50-something, the idea behind this story grabbed my attention, and I wasn't disappointed. The characters and their individual stories were realistic and varied, and there was a good dash of humour to make this book a very easy read.

Unable to finish this. Sadly by 40 something percent, not much had actually happened. A pretty dull read unfortunately...

Another one to finish off my A-Z challenge. It got better as I got further into it.

Being a vintage, I thought it was a good read. But I had trouble with the way some things were phrased. It was definitely an English story.

I'm on holiday atm and this is a prefect holiday read. A romance that's not too slushy, has some strong female characters and a likeable story line which didn't need too much thinking about.
