Wonderful story of a shameful time in historyThis book tells a family's time of going through a horrendous time in history. Be prepared to shed a few tears as the woman tells of heartbreak and loss. You feel her abounding love for her family. It's a joyous story, even with everything she and her husband go through. It is a gut wrenching tale of the Holocaust. I think anyone could read this and see what happened, but gain a respect for the strength through faith in God the characters maintained.

War torn love Set against the dramatic backdrop of the Second World War, a love that was meant to be blossoms, grows, and is cropped back. Will Abram and Hana's love survive? How will her family cope with the Anti-Semitic sentiment of the people around them, and will their whole family escape the ravages of the Holocaust? A touching and moving story of a Jewish girl as she grows, loves and moves into a world that doesn't care for her - against the stunning tapestry of the rout of the Jews, this historical love story might leave you breathless.

Great storyOne if those books you get attached to the characters right away. I enjoy historical fiction. Despite the heaviness if the Holocaust, still a great read. One of the best books I've read.
