I received an electronic copy of this book in exchange for a review, how fantastic to read something that is so beautiful and then get to encourage people to read it too.Maja uses poetry to comment on everyday life, current events and what is important to her.She relies on simple imagery and phrases, this prevents her social commentary from becoming too heavy and prescriptive. Each poem is introduced by a short explanation. While reading this book, I felt as if I was having a conversation with Maja herself; her ideals, her dreams and regrets are beautifully expressed.Thank you Maja for sharing these thoughts.

7 cents for your soul! probably that was the best title you came up with Maja :) i would like to congratulate for bringing out this simple yet engaging anthology. i must share that i completed the book in one go so that shows it has got some grip! The book is a beautiful collection of short poems, written during the various phases of the author and the emotions flow free and unbound. i especially liked the section which has poems dedicated to fellow friends, family members, teachers and lot. they show how much you care for them and how they have contributed to your life effectively. The poems are true to the book title- expressions of humanity. All in all a good book, nice poems, and insightful read.cheers!PS: Thank you for the e-copy :)

I immensely enjoyed this collection! It was amazing. Taken step by step through different aspects of our lives, it spoke very profoundly about friendships, people who come and go through our lives, and the effect social views can have. Some we must fight against, and hold to our own humanity. Another great work from the author. This was definitely worth the read. My favorites were:Where Did All the Night People Go?7 Cents For Your SoulRiding the Bullet To Your BrainThe Bank of HeartsRuby In the RoughHumanoidThirty ThousandThere Are No WordsWhere Am I Going? There last is arguably my favorite.

Excellent poetry by Maja. Some poems would touch your heart and some would haunt you for long. It is poetry of enlightenment and answers some eternal questions faced by humanity.
