Cute book we picked up on sale at Barnes and Nobles. We are big fans of heavy machinery and the characters had us giggling.

In this book they can build and they have the job of building the penguin family a house. The family has special requests for this house it has to have a swimming pool on the roof, a slide, and an ice rink, just to name a few. This book goes through the steps the animals had to take to build the house. There are struggles along the way, but they end up with a lovely house for the penguin family with everything they asked for. Activity: This book goes through the sequence of building a house. The students will have pick some type of activity, like making cookies or drawing something, and create a mini poster showing the sequence they would have to do to complete that activity.
