ARC REVIEW:Last year, I had the privilege of interviewing Madeline Pryce for her re-release of Dark Cravings. At that time, she excitedly hinted to me about a future book about three brothers, necromancers, zombies, and mages. At the time, I thought, "wow, that sounds complicated." And it is. Madeline Pryce creates a intricate world where the brothers are born of a powerful, dark magician necromancer and his beloved zombie wife. However, Ms. Pryce has a writing style and point of view that makes this complex story very accessible. I find myself captured by Bastian's emotions - the way he holds himself tightly in control; his protectiveness forged by the abuse he endured from his sadistic father; the fear of giving his heart to someone who might reject him. Constantly fighting his father's manipulations, I feel exhausted for him. Morgan is just discovering her powers as a necromancer. Prior to meeting Bastian, she didn't even know of their existence. She is a sympathetic ingenue with flashes of snark and steely resolve. This is a classic PNR story with a definite upswing in eroticism. Madeline Pryce writes very erotic scenes. And yet, Bastian and Morgan's interplay is both emotionally and physically intense: In that moment they were connected. His heart beat in her chest. His breath filled her lungs. Her magic moved inside him until it found the cold part deep within his core. The connection was instant, a tethering that wrapped around her in a way that left her breathless. He was hers. Body. Mind. Soul. I enjoyed the interactions between the brothers. The dynamics are laid out: "Rory got them into trouble, Bastion bailed them out, and Nolan was their constant."Already, we get clues into the direction of the next books. Ohh, enticing hints. I can't wait. IN A NUTSHELL:Creative, emotional, erotic, Crimson Sins is a PNR trifecta. Don't miss it. Thank you to the author and publisher, Loose ID, for the opportunity to read this book in exchange for an honest review.

When I read a book I get into it all the way and feel what the characters do but it’s rare that I read a book that I feel it to my bones and then feel drained when the story ends (my chest still feels tight from parts of the story and I stopped reading it an hour ago). When the story started I wasn’t sure what to expect, only that there would be zombies, because it’s different from her other books but WOW what a story. It starts with a bang and ends with a laugh. In between you have zombies, neocromers, colored hair, laughter (the laugh out louds when you least expect them kinds), gasps, and its Madeline so mind blowing sex (get the extra panties out) and more bangs. There are surprises, good and evil, and brothers you just want more of when it’s done. Madeline takes you on a ride like no other and I don’t want to get off anytime soon, so this is a rest stop for me until the next book comes along. So hop on and get ready for an amazing ride and remember to hang on tight!

I’ve read Madeline’s other books so I knew I was going to get a good read. But holy smokes, this book was above and beyond what I expected.First, I’ll warn you, this is for mature readers only. The author writes a very visual story which includes some gory violence, torture, and sex.I’m a fan of character driven novels and my favorites were the three brothers, Bastian, the oldest, then the middle one, Nolan and last but not least, the youngest, Rory. They are close knit and always have each others back, which is good as they tend to get themselves in trouble. They all share something too. They all need to feed on human blood, else they begin to rot and become zombie monsters. That’s a new one for me.Then there’s big bad Daddy, Ronan. He’s your worst dream come true and would win worst father awards hands down. His idea of a good time is rape, torture, and killing, as ugly as he can make it. His sons often suffered at his hands. When I first met Morgan, I was thinking, ‘what’s a nice girl like you….’ Then I discover she’s a necromancer and doesn’t even realize it. I understood then why she came to this families attention.Morgan and Bastian fall in love and horror comes calling. It calls in the form of Ronan. Daddy wants Morgan for his own and woe the one that stands between them, even his own son.As I anguished over the fate of the characters, suffered alongside my favorites and loathed the evil one, I feared the ending. There is no cliffhanger. This is a stand alone book. And what an ending.I’d recommend you set aside some time before you start reading Crimson Sins. Once you start, it will be very hard to stop. Filled with rich, come to life descriptions from a sewage filled alleyway, to sexual scenes that will leave you breathless and blushing, to scenes of brutality that will make you cringe, this is by far the best book yet by the author. She tells it like it is and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Bravo Madeline.I received this book for my honest and unbiased review.

Crimson Sins by Madeline Pryce was a book I will be thinking about for days to come, it was that good. This book was well written and had a great cast of characters, a well developed plot, that each time you figured out what was going to happen, completely twisted and turned another way, had a lot of angst between the characters, great sex scenes, as well as very intense torture scenes. It is a dark read, and not for the feint at heart-in other words, this book was awesome! This book was a fast paced roller coaster of a ride that will have you emotionally connected to the story from the first page and does not let up until long after the last page is read! The main characters in this book are:Morgan a young necromancer who does not understand what she is or what she is capable of,who falls in love with Bastian. Ronan a vicious necromancer, raped, killed and tortured anyone he could, including his 3 sons whenever possible.Bastian, his oldest son who is like a living vampire, who meets and falls in love with Morgan,Nolan, the middle of the 3 sons, he too suffers the same half alive half dead life just like the other 2 brothers,Rory, the youngest son. I loved the way these three brothers were described by Morgan,"No matter the story, one thing was clear; Rory got them into trouble, Bastian bailed them out, and Nathan was their constant, you see this throughout the whole book.Without giving too much away,Morgan and Bastian meet and fall in love and this not only opens a whole can of worms, but Ronan their father wants her, and will pull out all the magic he possesses to get her. This book was so fast paced and had such a great story line, be prepared to read it from start to finish, you will not want to put it down.I have read several books by Madeline Pryce now, and I have to say that this is my favorite one-they keep getting better and better! I gave this book a 5 star rating!Rock on Madeline Pryce! You have given me the ultimate book hang over!!!

Madeline PryceHave you ever read a book that used warp speed to invade and steal your heart? This was that story for me!Bastian Hale is a cop with a few quirks, like he is part dead, a spawn of an evil and cruel Necromancer who happens to be his father, needs blood to stay human, has unholy glowing eyes, can heal with his hands and he can throw icy powers as easily as pulling his Glock! Bastian was tortured, brutalized and made to commit unspeakable horrors with his 2 brothers, while being held under the thrall of their Father's, Ronan, terrorizing power. After decades of evil, Bastian, Nolan and Rory finally break free of his power and they all live a normally as they can. Bastian loves only his brothers, not even himself. He keeps his heart as tightly controlled as the icy powers that flow in his veins. He has only one fear, to be under someone's total control again!Morgan Cross is a deeply lonely woman who has such hidden pain inside her. She grew up with weird things happening to her like crimson tips in her hair that couldn't be colored over, dead folks popping up out of their graves, arrested for graveyard vandalism and committed to an asylum. When you see dead people swirling all around you 24/7, maybe a trip to the asylum is a great idea. She lives day to day and never holds a job long enough to make a home or friends. Morgan has always known she is different, but she wants to know on thing, WHAT is she?Morgan and Bastian's world collide when Ronan picks and courts Morgan as his new mate with body parts. Bastian watched what his mom went through and it determined to save Morgan from fate worse than death. All 3 brothers enter into a war with their father and win the first battle and keep Morgan safe and protected. Morgan, with Bastian and his brother help, learns that she is a Necromancer and more powerful than them because she is all human, not part dead like them. Bastian tries to fight his growing desire for Morgan, but it's a battle he will lose. Each day her power and lust grows stronger for Bastian and it's painfully to be without him! Bastian is never cold when he has her wrapped in his arms and his bed. They can't keep their lips, hands and bodies away for one another. While Ronan is back in the shadows pulling strings to screw up their lives, Morgan and Bastian join not just their icy powers, but their hearts together and learn they are stronger together that apart. Is Bastian willing to give up his hard won control to save her? Can Morgan control her power to save Bastian's heart and soul? Can their all consuming love be enough to defeat Ronan and his power? Will his brothers screw it up for Bastian? Please, oh please, will Morgan kick Ronan's a$$?I love a good vampire, shape shifter, demon and ever a gargoyle romance story! But a Necromancer and zombie combo was so not in my cosmos of a hero. I WAS SO WRONG! Madeline Pryce grab me by my short and curlies (underarms, people get your minds out of the gutter) and sent not 1, but 3 heroes in training with the Hale boys, Bastian, Nolan and Rory! Her love and amazement for her characters shows through with each vowel, constant, comma and period. Morgan was ignored and forgotten by all in her life except by the dead, psychos and perverts. I don't think I know or read about someone so isolated and lonely before. Morgan has a quiet and powerful strength that even shocks her socks off. Bastian was the most unlikely hero and I screamed, cried, laughed and fell in love with him and OK lusted after. His couch, shower and bedroom skills were a dream come true for any woman. That Morgan has all the luck and I kinda hate her for it. Nolan and Rory were the loving support that kept Bastian alive and human and also the story's comedic relief. Ms. Pryce steamy and sexy scenes singed my eyebrows with all her unique, body twisting, leg lifting and "TAKE ME NOW" passion between Morgan and Bastian. The kisses they shared made my Kindle smoke, cough and hyperventilate. No, sorry that was me! This the best Paranormal romance novel I have read because it has an original and out of the box characters in a hilarious, quirky and amazing love story! Ms. Pryce earns my top score of 5 fingers up and 10 toes plus my daughters! My only complaint is Ms. Pryce should include flame resistant underwear!

CRIMSON SINS is the first book in a new series by author Madeline Pryce. While the blurb has a warning in it regarding some content, I did not find it any worse than any other slightly dark paranormal romance.Morgan was a bit depressing in the beginning. She had a crappy job which she immediately lost, a stalker that is leaving her body parts that happen to be reanimated and she lives in a dump of a building. She knows she's different but doesn't know why and when her stalker finally makes himself known she is saved on the brink of death by the cop she has been helping solve cases anonymously for. Bastien doesn't do relationships but Morgan draws him in immediately. Unfortunately his father is after her for his own and she is a bit stubborn when it comes to letting him take care of her. I enjoyed learning about the characters pasts, watching them navigate their relationships and defeat their mutual foe. Lots of emotions, plenty of action, a fast pace and great characters made CRIMSON SINS a 5 star read for me. If by the end you feel drained yet yearn for more you know you've read a great book. My biggest complaint? IT ENDED! I really wanted more after CRIMSON SINS was over. If I picket with a sign that says "Bring me more!" do you think the author would write more in this world with these characters ASAP? Hopefully we won't have to wait for another book.* This book was provided free of charge from the publisher in exchange for an honest review.

Viewed as the unholy Trinity; Nolan, Rory, and Bastian Hale are half Necromancers half Zombie. Born from death, blood, and magic and a most evil father Ronan MacHallen the oldest living Necromancer alive. When Bastian starts to rot from the inside out he doesn't know that his father is the one behind it until it is too late. Trying to fight off the deterioration process his body is going through Bastian collides with a woman, "...felt the collision within the depths of his soul...the world fell away" that gives him pause and realizes she is a young Necromancer, Morgan he sees on her name tag, one who can command him if she so chooses if she realized what she was. Shoving past her and trying to gain control of the monster inside, Bastian feeds from a prostitute and kills her only to realize too late that his father Ronan MacHallen had found him and he had drained one of his fathers blood slaves.Morgan Cross, adopted after her mother was killed and then institutionalized when she was a teen can see the dead. Unknown to her she calls them to her. They seek her out. As an adult she has reported dead girls to her local police station and only to Detective Hale. Unbeknownst to her he is the man she runs into after being fired from her job. With sapphire eyes the same color that streaked through his black hair. She can't stop thinking about him. When Morgan thinks nothing else could go wrong the man leaving her horrid and twisted gifts at her front door has now come to claim her as his, dead or alive. Known only to her as her former therapist though his appearance is younger, he is psychotic. Bastian and his brother's retrieve information on Morgan and decide to pay her a visit and see how much she knows about their Father. Chaos ensues in order to retrieve Morgan from Ronan's clutches. Knowing that this is the first of many Ronan backs off. Morgan is bruised and battered from the fight and Bastian needs to heal her. When their magic combines Bastian is overcome with need that he hadn't felt in ages. Morgan can't seem to control what she has. Wanting to be with Morgan is a deadly game he can't afford to play and every step closer he gets to her traps him even more. And with Ronan wanting Morgan even in death Bastian must keep his wits about him. Will their lust turn to love and concur the magic within them or will Bastian be trapped under Morgan's untrained magic forever?Madeline has a way of carrying the reader away into a whole new dark world and capturing them with well written characters, villains, and hot passionate sex. Haven't read about Necromancers before I was intrigued with the concept and from reading her past work I knew this series would be just as great! I am eager and can't wait to read what happens next with Nolan and Rory.Madeline Pryce YOU ROCK!!!

Deliciously Dark and DecadentCrimson Sins is a deliciously dark and decadent erotic paranormal read - utterly compelling and original. It introduces us to a world of magic, necromancers, zombies, ghosts, and more and contains a heady and combustible mix of smokin’ hot romance and scenes of horror. It is without doubt one of my top reads of 2014.I ADORED the hero Bastian, a tortured alpha hottie who is immediately drawn to Morgan, the heroine. He wants to protect her, not only from his father Ronan, but also from himself as he believes that he is not worthy of a woman’s love. Morgan’s own life has not been easy as she has struggled to cope with her ability to see spirits and has been grossly misunderstood. She is shocked to realise that she is a powerful necromancer and despite her independence welcomes Bastian’s help in protecting her from his father, who desires her for his own evil ends. I LOVED how Morgan’s powers grew throughout the novel and how the couple united in battling Ronan.Ronan is a formidable adversary and will stop at nothing to achieve his ends, including his evil sorcerer’s magic. Can Bastian open his heart to trust a female necromancer whose own magic could enslave him just as his father’s had?The lovemaking scenes between Bastian and Morgan are sublime – graphic, scorching hot and emotionally intense and left me in no doubt that the couple are destined to be together. These scenes contrast with the bloody and visceral scenes of horror and violence which illustrate the evil that is Ronan, Bastian’s father. The enduring bond between the three brothers, Bastian, Rory and Nathan, who had shared so much pain and abuse in the past was also a feature of the read which I enjoyed. Although this book focuses on Bastian we are afforded an insight into what makes his equally tortured and hot siblings tick and I seriously hope that Madeline Pryce will be penning their own books soon! The pacing of the book and the balance between the scenes of magic and action and horror with the romance and lovemaking scenes were perfect. If you like erotic paranormal romances, with strong references to horror you will love this book too. Go forth and buy Cimson Sins now! You will not be disappointed! A copy of this book was given to me by the author for the purpose of a fair and honest review

Trying to fight off the deterioration process his body is going through meets a woman. But she isn't just another woman, he realizes she is a young Necromancer, Morgan, is someone who could command him if she realized what she was. Now that she is an adult, she reports dead girls to the local police station but only to Detective Hale. Just when Morgan thinks nothing else could go wrong, Someone starts leaving her disturbing gifts at her front door. But it isn't just anybody,Bastian has now come to claim her anyway he can get her.Morgan is really scuffed up from fighting with Bastian and in need of him to heal her, but when their magic combines, Bastian is overcome with a need he hadn't felt in ages. Morgan on the other hand, can't seem to control what she feelings she has either. Will their feelings for each other and the magic they both possess heal them both or will they both be doomed?Madeline Pryce doesn't just give you a story to read, She gives you a story to live through from the first page. I was right there in the story the whole time I read it. I bonded with the characters and felt their fears, anxiety and love with each turn of the page. If you haven't ever took the time to read this amazing authors work, you need to start now. I gave this book 5 stars because Amazon wouldn't allow more.

A tremendously thrilling, electrifying thrill ride excitement abounds, Necromancy as you've never seen it!! 5 Stars for an imaginative lightening ride with a young half-breed Bastian Hale along with his brothers Rory and Nolan stand against and old EVIL!! Ms Pryce demonstrates that there are new stories to tell that haven't been touched on before. Ms Pryce has proven that she can write outside her usual genre and prove that she can write a breath taking nearly heart stopping and bone chilling genre bending book. My hats off to you Ms Pryce I believe that you have written your best book ever!! Crimson Sins is the first book in the Born of Death series and is a book that will rock your world and set you off with a bang, it grabs you on the first page it twists and turns you inside out and does not let go of you long after the last page has ended! This book will bring new fans to her writing. In Crimson Sins' Bastian Hale and his brothers Rory & Nolan will provide plenty of inventive magic to save the one thing that both Bastian and his father Ronan MacHallen want Morgan Cross, herself a budding necromancer but she has no idea of what or who she is! Ronan is that ancient Evil that Bastian and his brothers fear and hate because of the things he has made them do, it is full of love and anguish that will have you weeping(Well I did) These brothers are a tightknit family who will band together for each other and any they love against that which they have reason to Fear! That ancient evil is their father who turns them against each other but they have decided to fight back even they don't match even half the power he does but they will die to prevent him from getting Morgan! Crimson Sins is just the beginning of this series and I hope that it stretches beyond the 3 books envisioned for the series 1 book about each brother, let's hope there are more!??? I for one would welcome more than 3 books about these brothers and Morgan Cross...

~I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads Review Team~Madeline Pryce has such a way with words. You feel like you are actually in the book living everything as it happens. You smell the rotting flesh, you feel the blood, and feel the ice forming around you. You feel EVERTYHING!!! This was my first book about Necromancers and zombies and not normally something I would read but I fell in love with Madeline Pryce after reading Dark Cravings so I will read anything by her. I love her! This book has so much detail and I could imagine everything as I was reading it. The book would actually make a great T.V. series I think. Bastian was hot from the start and the chemistry between him and Morgan was so strong and amazing. The sex between the two was so steamy and off the charts I needed a cold shower! I read this book in one day, I didn’t want it to end and actually put it down a few times to draw it out so it would last longer! I love the relationship between Bastian and his brothers Nolan and Rory you could feel their bond and their love for one another. I hope we get to hear Rory’s story next, I just loved him. I will forever think of this book every time I smell cinnamon from now on!Characters: the characters were so well written, you could feel their pain and feel their love while they were experiencing it. Sex: off the charts HOT! Occasionally I get struck with one of "those" moods. You know the one I'm talking about; I don't want to just read a book, I want to EXPERIENCE it! I want a story that is intense, that completely captures my mind, carries it off into a dark place, and then lights it on fire.I LOVED Crimson Sins because it did all that for me and more. The passion between the main characters was so hot it practically scorched my fingers while turning the page. The paranormal elements were dark and bloody; make no mistake, evil has arrived and is on the hunt! As the story came alive in my imagination it painted pictures full of contrasting colors; red for blood, blue for loss, orange for passion, yellow for fear, and white for love. There were even a few bits of purple that represented the moments of lightness laughter that perfectly balanced the darkness, and kept it from becoming overwhelming.Pryce's writing is superb. Fast paced, with a complex storyline that kept my attention from start to finish, I literally read this in a matter of hours because I just couldn't put it down. Crimson Sins will blow your mind!

I'm an avid reader of Dark Urban Fantasy and Paranormal Romance. I adore the twists and turns a plot can take...the pains of the past and how you have to overcome them...how you have to face the beast within. The moment I started Crimson Sins, I knew it was going to deliver. Chapter one sucked me in and held onto me through the rest of the day while I read each chapter, inhaling it like my favorite paranormal shows or movies. Madeline Pryce has a way of making you feel the cold, the dark, the fear like it's surrounding you, suffocating you. And then she brings you life, air, and hope with the two main characters. The plot was tight and fast-paced. Depth of characters and the situation were superb. I adored the interaction among the three brothers (man am I looking forward to Rory's and Nolan's books!). The growing love between Morgan and Bastian was palpable (so was the sexual tension and incredible passion between them). This book is now on my permanent keeper shelf. Please note that I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Madeline Pryce has shown her fabulous skill for versatility in this wonderful new series! I would give it more than 5 stars, if I could! In Crimson Sins, she shares the story of three half-necromancer/half-zombie brothers who fight their dark inner natures constantly and strive to rise above their torturous upbringing. This first book concentrated on Bastian Hale, who is the eldest brother, and whom I fell in love with right from the beginning. His life has been difficult, being used and abused by his evil father Ronan... But he has been, seemingly, free of him for some time, now. When he meets Morgan Cross, he seems to struggle, at first, to understand that he can be appreciated and loved. But, while teaching her about her necromancer powers, they become closer and develop a deep understanding and love for each other. In this explosive and dark paranormal novel, I enjoyed experiencing their struggles and joys with them and look forward to the next installment!

FANTASTIC READ!Ever been on a roller coaster that starts that slow click-clack up that first BIG hill then crests it, just seconds before you plummet down the hill into the adrenaline rush of excitement? Yeah, that’s how this book reads! It starts off giving a base of what the main character and building a good foundation as you travel up that slow climb. Then unexpectedly it drops into a race of adrenaline and excitement with a plethora of twists and turns that grabs your attention and sucks you into a loop-de-loop of intense emotions. Never once does this book slow down until the epilog, and even then there’s still that final small hill to traverse before easing you back into the gate-house. I HIGHLY suggest this book for any and every level of reader, it’s a great read that speeds through the pages but doesn’t leaving anyone wondering where the heck things are. It’s unique words combine into a GREAT story! (I was not paid to leave this review!)

Have you ever read a book that you couldn't put down because it was so good, but at the same time you didn't want to finish it because you didn't want it to end? You know what I am talking about. When you are about 3 chapters away from the end, and you keep putting it down because you know you are getting closer to the end and you are just not ready for it to be over. Crimson Sins had me sucked in at chapter one and I was not ready for it to be over at the end. I loved how beautifully Madeline writes her characters and the scenes. I felt like I was there with Morgan and Bastian every step of the way. I want more of Bastian and Morgan's story. I want to read a book about Nolan and Rory's stories. This was an amazing book. Madeline Pryce has become a favorite for me. I hope there will be more to come.

Madeline Pryce does it again in this thrill ride paranormal! This story revolves around a trio of brothers who are a mixed bag of Necromancer, Biohazard and Zombie. Bastian Hale meets Morgan Cross who doesn't understand the strange powers she had since childhood. She struggles through her existence aimless and unfocused. Bastian can't comprehend after nearly 200 years why this woman calls to him and why he wants her as his own. Bastian, Rory and Nolan help her to learn how to shield herself and utilize her talents. The storyline is unusual, gripping, graphic, tense with the hot romance and sex that we expect from Ms. Pryce's great stories. I am never disappointed when I pick up a book from this author. Looking forward to Rory and Nolan's stories hopefully!

I must admit when I first started reading this I thought it was going to be some silly zombie/vampire story. Yes it had a few zombie's and blood thirsty corpses but admittedly this was a well written and captivating book.I really enjoyed Bastian and Morgan's characters. I especially felt the heartache that Morgan felt when Nolan told lies to both Morgan and Bastian thinking he was protecting his brother but in the end it was his own deep seated fears from what happened to him in the past and the fact that he was worried to lose his brother that caused him to act the way he did. I'm glad for Morgan that she is finally with a family that understands her and now she knows that she's not crazy after all.

I love this book, it was def my cup of tea. Morgan is one tough girl especially when she was dealt a really crappy hand. Until things start to happen, everything that she always though was true and she figured out that she's not crazy. She finally meets Bastian, he's a cop but he also has powers like she does. Then she meets his two brothers Rory and Nolan. Rory is like a annoying kid brother, but Nolan doesn't like her very much. When she finds out that the man that is trying to kill her is their brother, things get really crazy. Between falling in love with Bastian, trying to learn how to use her powers and trying to fight Ronan things are really crazy. Then she finds out something else and by then Nolan has lied to her. Amazing read!

3 - 4 stars.Non stop action. Starts a little slow then picks up and smooths out. Really like the characters and the brothers. One thing after the other keeps happening to them, and through it all Morgan & Bastien fall in love. Their trials and tribulations play a part in the the family dynamics, and how they've grown as a person and a family. The bad guy is creep, merciless, powerful, and such a great believable bad guy. Plenty of action, sex, story. Would read more about these brothers, and hopefully there will be. It's a smooth read, captivating. I'm not a zombie book person, but really liked this one.

Thanks for a free book to read and review for Wicked Reads. Loved it, love the subject line, and the cast of characters were just perfect. Was really happy to read this book for Wicked Reads, the author has some really great story lines, and necromancy, and zombie books are fast becoming a favorite for me. This one definitely doesn't disappoint. I would definitely read from this author again, and will be looking out for the brothers books. This book stayed well within the supernatural genre, and my overall entertainment value was four stars. This is also my first by this author.

First of all I have to say.....I just love this author! This is the second book I have read of hers, and yet, she still doesn't disappoint! Madeline Pryce always amazes with her well written story lines. The intensity of it! The twist and turns and holy crap grab you by the seat of your pants kind of feel when you read her books! Don't believe me? Well you will HAVE to get your own to find out!

Morgan Cross was rescued and adopted as a young child and knows nothing of her background, or power over the dead. In her youth she spent a few years in a psych ward—after an incident with a cemetery and claims of zombies. Nowadays she has to deal with finding work, receiving disturbing gifts of reanimated body parts from a stalker, and her only solace is the anonymous tips she leaves for the local police concerning unsolved murders—after she talks with the victims. She will have to learn to control her powers and avoid the plans her stalker has for her. Oh yeah, and deal with the almost feverish desire growing between her and Bastion.Bastian Hale, zombie, necromancer, and cop, called abomination by other necromancers, his only companions have been his brothers. While questioning Morgan he ends up interrupting her kidnapping—rescuing her from Ronan. The rescue will lead to him learning her true identity, including that she has a lot of untrained power, was actually his informant for unsolved murder cases, and that she might be the only woman that he cannot live without. While teaching her how to use her necromantic powers he will have to keep her safe from his father’s scheming and heinous plans for her body, and possible betrayals from unexpected sources. His intense attraction to Morgan will have him rethinking letting someone else into his heart besides his brothers. After being alone most of her life Morgan seems to be quite popular these days. A powerful necromancer wants her body to bring back his lost love, regardless if she is willing and he is ready to use anything to get what he wants, including murder and torture. On the other hand an uber sexy man claiming to be a necromancer also seems to be drawn to her—though he cannot seem to decide on attraction or dislike. Working together Morgan and Bastion might be enough to defeat the evil necromancer, Ronan, but first they will have to Work through their trust issues and come to terms with the intense desire growing between them. Will they be in time? Or will they let old prejudices tear them apart? This is a good start to a new series starring a combo I had never read before, (a half zombie/half necromancer) and set in a new fascinating world peopled with the familiar with their own unique twists. Bastion was not the only star in this book being the necro/zombie. Morgan was a great character in her own right with her unique necromantic powers and strong personality. Despite the heady sexual tension between Morgan and Bastion there are still scenes of horror and magic mixed into the story keeping it firmly from being too romantic. I enjoyed all of the players in this story and felt some sort of empathy for most of them, even pitying Ronan though he was a disgustingly evil, evil guy. In short, I really like this story and would recommend it to other fans of the genre who do not mind a bit of romance to go with their horror.Official Review @ coffee Time Romance & More

Seriously Madeline, can you write anything less than a five star? HELL NO!I don't even know where to begin cause there is so much about this book that I FREAKING LOVED! This was a bit different than her shorter reads and now that I have finished I am in a constant battle of whether I am still team Dante from 'Dark Innocence' or have I crossed over to the super masculine, protective, alpha male that is Bastian!Oh yes, Bastian can come to my house any day. I don't care what he is or where he comes from I will gladly be a blood slave to him. His character is unique from anything paranormal I have ever read...and I have read a lot. Madeline has created some intense and multilevel beings in Crimson Sins. She is a genius in her words and creating a world for you to escape into. I literally felt like I could smell the rotting flesh of the zombies, feel the pain of Bastian and Morgan's inner battles, and see the bloodshed right before my eyes. There is so much that will catch your attention and will have you hanging onto every word with a need to know what will happen next! The tension is unreal, the action is thrilling, and the sex is HOT!5 *WINK* READ!Book Flirts by Jessiwww.facebook.com/bookflirts@bookflirtsjessihttp://bookflirtsbyjessi.blogspot.com

Reviewer: Missy BGenre: M/F Paranormal3.5 HeartsSee Review Here: Hearts On Fire ReviewsFacebook link: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Hearts...Review:This story contains non stop action. It starts a little slow, maybe after about 5 - 10 pages, then smoothes out so that the who and what people are makes sense. One thing after the other keeps happening and between the danger and action, Bastian and Morgan fall in love. Their trials and tribulations happen with his two brothers, as all their pasts play a role in the four of them growing and becoming a family of sorts. The bad guy is creepy, powerful, nd merciless. This was a great, believable bad guy. There’s plenty of action, sex, and story plot. I would read more about these brothers and by this author. This is a very smooth read. I really like the brothers, who are captivating & believable. I'm not a zombie story person, but I liked this book.

Oh.Emm.Gee! I want a guy that comes in colors! What do you get when you have a dead man with magical powers and a necromancer that can’t control raising the dead? Morgan and Bastian are in a complicated relationship that has nothing at all to do with the fact that Bastian’s father wants her to be part of his evil army. No, they own their issues start with the fact that Morgan not only raising his passion but she actually being able to control him with her necromancer powers. Can she be convinced to enslave him for his father? Read more: Makin' The Love Monday - Crimson Sins by Madeline Pryce

This dark paranormal romance keeps readers shivering with thrills and chills. The author has created a paranormal romance that combines horror and romance and the greatest HEA when good triumphs over evil. I have to say this book is totally different from anything I have ever read before and despite some of the horrific elements caused by the extremely evil bad guy I was completely engrossed in the book from beginning to end and I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.See my full review at:http://www.nightowlreviews.com/v5/Rev...

It's rare for me to not put down a book at all. This was one of those books that you don't want to miss a second of. What a cool twist on the supernatural! I loved all three brothers . Bastian,Nolan, and Rory are hybrids. Immortal,necromancer,zombies...interesting huh? Well you'll fall in love with these guys. You'll love the woman at the center of this crazy tale as well. Morgan, a powerful necromancer and Bastian's love interest. I wont give away any details but I'll say this ,if you want a supernatural romance with a twist this is the book for you. This story has action, love, pain, magic, gore, and sex what more could you ask for. At the end you'll feel sad to say goodbye. Loved it!!!
