Lily and Gavin are such lovable characters. With that being said I wanted to punch Lily and Gavin multiple times in this book. I was so mad at Gavin for being such a wanker at times and I wanted Lily to just leave him! But then **Big Sigh*** I fell back in love with Mr. Gavin again. swoooooooonnnnnnnI was told by a friend to have book 3 ready because of the big Cliffy and I'm so glad I did. On to book 3!Would recommend: YES! to everyone!

Complimentary copy provided by the author in exchange for an honest review.Gavin and Lily are back! Lily has decided to make the leap of faith by moving to London to be with Gavin. While the two might think it will be easy sailing from here on out, each finding the relationship they have been longing for, they’re in for a whole lot of surprises. Over-zealous feds, cartel and mafia members and crazy exes are the name of the game and once again, Richards takes us on a riveting ride.As Lily begins to explore her new surroundings, she learns that Max has decided to pursue the cartel with the help of the FBI. Unfortunately this is completely at odds with her deal with Lorenzo in return for protection. So now, not only is Lily at risk, but Max is at well. After a major argument with Gavin and Max going off-grid, Lily returns to the US and decides to take matters into her own hands. Her actions end up threatening not only the career of one of her closest friends, but their friendship itself. Allegiances within the cartel itself are tested and Lorenzo’s protection may no longer be possible, is Lily’s life in danger since she is considered one of Ashton’s loose ends? Further complicating matters is the introduction of Gavin’s friends to the mix. A love triangle is introduced that further threatens friendships and Gavin’s allegiance to someone that has played a major role in his past may be the breaking point in his and Lily’s relationship. Gavin says he’s in for the long haul, but is we willing to see past the manipulation of others in order to save his relationship with Lily? While I fully enjoyed the book, especially Lily’s expert-level snark, it just felt like the narrative had changed a little bit. In the first book I felt immersed in the story, whereas in this volume, it felt as though Lily was simply telling me the goings on of her days. I had more of a feeling that I was being told, rather than shown. There is a cliff-hanger of epic proportions in this one, so if that isn’t your thing, wait until the next installment comes out, otherwise you’ll be beating your head against a wall, it’s that good! I can’t wait to see what fate has in the cards as the final volume of Gavin and Lily’s story, When Fates Align, is released in May. After all that they’ve been through, I’m eager to see if they finally get their happily ever after.

I LOVE Isabelle's writing skills, so much I re read this before writing my review. And boy it's never been so tough for me to get one out of me! Not because this book isn't deserving or boring but the exact opposite. So many things happen, it's bound to make you dizzy......Nearly escaping death Lil has earned a fresh start in life, which now includes Gavin. So where's a better place to do that? To stay low & under the radar, see if they really can give a go at their new profound love? Gavin's turf.In London. But it’s not so easy…Trying to settle into their new lives is becoming more than what was bargained for.But Lil is trying to make the best of it. Slowly fitting in, developing friendships.Gavin’s so protective, patient, loving and supportive. Going above and beyond to make situations better, more comfortable. What more could a girl want? Not what's in store for this budding, evolving hot couple that's for sure!A war is brewing. Hits from the mob & drug cartels. The unknown. The hurtles thrown their way adds to self destructive ways.Past rejections thrown into the mix, out for blood thirst revenge. Secrets. Tension so thick it’s suffocating. Life's will be torn, feelings and emotions expressed.Self confidence, worth and doubt taking a hit, leaving questions hanging in the wind..Everyone’s not perfect, has their own insecurities and fears. Some may even have a dark side.Someone’s bound to get hurt. After such traumatic experiences. Surviving hell a second time might not be an option. What if fate isn't enough?I laughed, cried, tempted to throw my kindle numerous times while really loosing it!!I'm emotionally twisted up after this ride!Bring it "When Fate Aligns", this'll one helluva final installment.

Well, Isabelle Richards' didn't fall into the proverbial sophomore slump with this follow up to When Fates Collide. This one was amazing in its own right! Lily and Gavin are back and this book is as good as ever. After harrowing few months with kidnapping, beatings, having to find money to pay of cartels, the mob. Lily has escaped to England to be with Gavin. Across the pond she still has issues with the mob and the cartel but now she has added issues with Olivia, the friend of Gavin who wants more then he will ever give her. She is unhinged and desperate and you know that means trouble for poor Lily. Can't this girl catch a break Ms Richards. (Kidding).Dealing with the Olivia bull crap and her insecurities she has and dealing with everything Gavin, she learns that her friend and ex roomie, Max, an undercover Fed, has lost contact with his handlers. Lily being bad ass calls in favors and will need to risk it all to save her friend, while at the same time risking it all and potentially losing Gavin in the process.Ladies and gents, this is another home run and the cliffhanger is so crazy that you NEED book three immediately. The cartel never leaves loose ends.We need book three, NOW!

This book picks up right where book one left off and Lily has decided to take a chance and join Gavin in London. Well, let me say, her life will never be the same. It's a fresh start to start over but the one thing that won't leave her alone are her ex husband's demons…Like any relationship Lily and Gavin's isn't perfect but the passion and chemistry is HOT, leaving me panting like a hot mess!! Now, there is someone close to Gavin that is definitely not happy for them and I so wanted to throat punch her many times, yet I couldn't. One thing I loved about Lily is her kickass attitude, because she decided she would no longer be taken advantage of. But that ending…WTF?? I.Just.Couldn't.... You will have to read it yourself to find out what I mean; it left me with so many questions and I. Need. Answers. Now! ~ Kara, 5 Amazing stars

Cant believe this series is on Kindle Unlimited! It is a little angsty with that nasty secretary and who is "O" and what does she mean to Gavin the White Knight? Lily has a lovely Roommate Max , a terrific best Friend Em, and lots of intrigue over the Accident!

**I received an ebook ARC from the author in exchange for an honest review**I was chomping at the bit to get my hands on the next book in this series. I devoured When Fates Collide, and immediately fell in love with Lily and Gavin. When I found out there would be not one, but two more books coming out, I was completely giddy. When Fate Isn’t Enough opens right where the first book left off. Lily heads across the pond with Gavin, and though she doesn’t know how long she plans to stay in London, finds herself feeling at home there. Of course nothing can be easy for this couple, and unfortunately for Lily her deceased husband’s legacy still haunts her. Not only are these two learning how to navigate life together with each other, but they’re navigating the minefield that they’ve been left to deal with.I didn’t know it was possible, but I think I fell a bit more in love with Gavin as I read this book. Richards has created this amazing man who really has everything, but he’s so unassuming and giving and just this overall great person. Of course I adore Lily too, and I was happy to see that she kept her wits about her in this book and stayed just as strong-willed and independent as she was in When Fates Collide. Even though her need to do things independently sometimes causes more trouble than it does good, the fact that Richards made her main lead in this series fierce and awesome is one of my favorite things about it.Richards kept the storyline moving with plenty of action as well as sweet and sexy moments with our favorite couple. There were a few moments where my jaw hit the floor, a few where I wanted to cry for the characters, and a few where I wanted to tear my hair out because I was infuriated. I love when writers are so good that they generate these massive emotional reactions from me, and that’s precisely what When Fate Isn’t Enough did.I loved what Richards did with the additional characters in this book. Of course Em was still there and she’s just as sassy and fabulous as ever, but Gavin’s best mates are introduced, and oh my gooooood, they’re both fantastic! I found myself wishing I could read more of these characters and know more about them, because they’re so incredibly crafted. The end of this one … Gah! I won’t spoil it, but let’s just say Richards has done it again, and I’m not sure how I’m going to wait for the next installment in this story. I want to know everything right. This. Minute.Five stars to this one. Such an addicting read!

When Fate Isn’t Enough by Isabelle Richards is the second book in the When Fates Collide Series. It should not be read as a stand alone novel. The first book When Fate Collides establishes the characters personalities along with situations that bring them together as a couple. The reader gets an understanding of their motivations and choices that will be made in the second book.Lily and Gavin have been through hell. Their relationship came to be after they suffered dearly from their exes. Now they are starting a new life together. The book starts with them going to London.Gavin is one of those men that draws women to him without even trying. He is dedicated to Lily heart and soul. Their relationship is the most important thing to him. He cannot help that his looks attract women. It is one of the things that Lily is going to have accept. She needs to be secure about his love for her. She needs to feel secure about their relationship. Lily knows that Gavin’s past with his ex Brooke still haunts him. At times Lily feels like she can’t compete with their history. Not only will they have to deal with their pasts to move forward, they will have new road blocks keeping their relationship on rocky ground. Lily made a deal with the cartel that is going to come back and smack her with a force. Olivia, the wicked woman from the first book, is back as well. She is going to test every bond that holds Lily and Gavin together. This book takes a bit of a different course than book one. This book is more of a relationship driven book. It is emotional, heartbreaking, enraging, humorous, sexy, and romantic. It had every combination a reader wants in a book. The pacing in this story was perfect. I never felt like scenes were being drawn out or abbreviated. The book ended on a shocking cliffhanger that has me anxious for the third book, When Fates Align, on May 6, 2015.Isabelle Richards has given the readers a couple that started as complete strangers entangled in a world of treacherous danger to a passionate relationship that only happens once in a lifetime. Are they strong enough to fight for that love and hang onto it no matter what the cost is? I sure hope so. I can’t wait to see what happens with Lily and Gavin next.

After narrowly escaping the drug cartel Lily takes up her BF offer of moving across the pond for some R&R. Yeah right. Not only does trouble follow her but it gets mob hit deep! Of course it starts off a little slow but it doesn't take long to pick up..NOT. AT. ALL. I fell in love with Lily's smart mouth and love of hip hop in book 1 and of course she doesn't disappoint me in book 2: "Damn, it's brass monkeys," Liam says as he rubs his hands together. I slip my gloves on. "Brass monkey? As in the Beastie Boys song?" I ask. "No, as in it's cold enough to freeze the balls off a brass monkey,"This time her troubles are more than the mob...'member that bi-yatch, Olivia, from Book 1? Mmm hmmm! Anyway, my man Gavin is still sexy as ever with his hot accent and hotter body." When I finally have you again, taste you again, you'd better be in tip top shape, because you're not going to be able to move for days after I'm through with you."Yup. He said that. This time Gavin has some hottie friends that we get to meet and they are just as sexy and funny! But they aren't the only one with new friends. We get to also meet one of Lily and Em's showgirl home girl, Brittany and her mouth is as trashy as they come. I snickered a bit when she said: "I have a strict no pussy policy in this house. That goes for whores trying to sleep with my husband and cowards hiding out. Time to face the music."Loved it. The whole book, just loved it. Once again, I am in awe at how she (Lily) pulls off some of the things she does but hey it wouldn't be fiction if some of this ish wasn't unrealistic eh. So 4.5 out of 5 stars for this great follow up..why not 5 stars you ask? Well that half of star is sitting in the corner pouting because the cliffhanger was so good that it doesn't wanna wait for book 3 (Which from the ending looks like it'll be told from Gavin's POV) For more spoiler free reviews visit

This picks up exactly where book one leaves off, with Gavin and Lily on their way to England. With a fragile heart recuperation is high on her to do list. She meets Gavin’s nearest and dearest friends along with the lovely Olivia, Gavin’s long-time friend and colleague. Unfortunately, with her history and obvious lack of trust, things never go smoothly for the couple. Will they ever get their happy ending? Lily ends up getting dragged right back to where she doesn’t want to be, smack bang in the middle of a war between drug cartels. When Max goes undercover and risks his life, Lily sets about her foolish mission to go save him herself. Gavin having no idea where she has gone of what she plans to do follows her. He has some making up to do along the way, but he never gives up his fight to save the love of his life.Lily sets out to look after herself, not asking for the help she needs. Setting off on her foolish mission seems like suicide. Max however doesn’t appreciate her assistance, following his suspension from the FBI. His hatred towards her seems to jump off the pages. Can he put this behind him and once again help save Lily after she receives word that the cartel is once again coming for her? Unfortunately, no-one realises it is not only the cartel out for Lily’s blood! As Gavin and Max return from London, firefighters are putting out the blaze at Gavin and Lily’s home. Her body burnt beyond recognition. The only thing on their minds….. Revenge!!This second instalment of the When Fates Collide series was just as amazing as the first. It kept you gripped, wanting more. The cliff hanger leaves you really needing to pick up book three. This picks up where book one left off, carrying on with Gavin and Lily’s life in London. There are many laugh out loud moments which is nice to see mixed in with all the tension. It is beautifully written, constantly adding intrigue to the plot. When you think it can’t get any better, you get proved wrong.

When Fate Isn’t Enough by Isabelle Richards is the second book in the When Fates Collide Series. You need read the first in the series When Fate’s Collide before starting this book. Lily and Gavin surely have been to hell and back. They are trying to attempt a new life together in London after both losing their ex’s. Gavin is just one of those good looking men who can draw women’s attention without even batting an eyelash. I mean he is just that hot and that British accent, SWOON! He is sweet, charming and so sexy. “When I finally have you again, taste you again, you'd better be in tip top shape, because you're not going to be able to move for days after I'm through with you."Uhm? GAVIN! Yes please!Due to the circumstances and tragic events he is drawn to Lily and his dedication to her speaks volumes. He loves her with all he has, but will that be enough for Lily to accept that she IS good enough?? Lily is insecure, because of Gavin’s ex Brooke who was a starlet, beautiful yet she was so broken fallen into a world of drugs. Even though she passed away Lily still feels like she can’t compete with who the person Brooke was, at least looks wise. People from the past come back, the Cartel and other unwanted individuals that will test Lily and Gavin’s relationship and make for one hell of a bumpy ride. Are they strong enough to push through and fight for the love they have? Can they hang on without falling? This book was the complete package. It is very emotional, has angst, humor and lots of romance. I loved Gavin’s sexy friends humor, as well as Lily’s friend Brittany who bring a whole ball of laughter to the story. Isabelle’s writing flows effortlessly and I was able to get lost in the book. When Fates Collide does have a big cliffhanger ending and leaves you drooling for the third book titled, When Fates Align, due to come out May 6, 2015. 5 Bright Stars!! - Copy provided for honest review. 4.5 StarsFirst of all...WTF Isabelle Richard...What. The. Fuck?!?Now that I've got that out of my system...this book was amazeballs. I liked the first book but this one really drew me in. First of all there was a lot more Gavin and, lets be honest you can't go wrong with an abundance of that British hottie, even when he was managing to piss me off. My favorite thing about him from the very beginning is that he is protective of Lily but also understands that she needs her independence. He's forceful and aggressive in his attempts to protect her when it's really necessary but he never manages to come off as controlling. His biggest problem is his naivetè when it comes to Olivia. Family friend or not, there became a point where he really needed to just send her packing. Then there is Lily in all of her bad ass glory. Seriously she's one tough chick, even though her decision making isn't always the best. She doesn't wait around for someone else to rescue her or to make things easier for her, which was not only her biggest strength but could also be the cause of her complete undoing. Throw in their friends and all the crazy they brought to the party and it was non-stop drama. Em and her inability to commit to anything, James and his unrequited love, Max and his delusions of attraction and Liam in all his sexy, naughty glory added the perfect mix of secondary, but crucial characters. This story had a ton of twists and turns that I never saw coming and the writing kept it very interesting. Then there was that ending...I won't discuss it because I refuse to give anything away, but just be prepared to lose your damn mind. I cannot wait to see what happens in the third book releasing in May. I need to see if my suspicions are correct and I can't wait to see what crazy shit Isabelle has in store Lily and Gavin.

I honestly don’t know where to start with this one. I take that back, I do – if you haven’t read When Fates Collide, put this book down and go read the first book in the series. RIGHT NOW! When Fate Isn’t Enough continues the story of Gavin and Lily started in the first book. I don’t think any two characters have ever had me so emotionally invested in what they are going through. I alternated between loving Gavin and Lily and wanting to shake them because they were driving me crazy. This was not a new feeling for me when it comes to Lily, but it was new to how I related to Gavin. Things start pretty happy, Lily and Gavin head off to London to start a new life together. Things seem to be going well, but then the boogey men from Lily’s past reappear and Gavin’s “friend” Olivia start contributing to the fun. Lily’s behavior is true to form; she loves Gavin, but her history has her scared. She goes off halfcocked and does what she thinks is best without talking to anyone first. Early on in our London adventure, Gavin seemed to be just like the guy we met in part 1. As the story moved on, we discovered more layers to Gavin’s personality some of which I wasn’t sure I liked. If someone laid this story out for me, I probably would have said that I wasn’t interested in the drama rollercoaster. Something about how Ms. Richards writes the story and the voice she gives to Lily pulled me in and made me enjoy the ride. As a testament to how much I was invested in the story, I actually finished the book standing at the kitchen counter so my kindle could be plugged in after the battery died. One word of caution about When Fate Isn’t Enough, it is a cliffhanger and a shocker. If you haven’t read it yet, I strongly suggest waiting until part 3 comes out so that you can see how the story ends.

Phenomenal!!!Amazingly well written, I couldn't couldn't take my eyes off this book and I've managed to read it in two days! Lily and Gavin has a relationship where one is willing to give there life to protect while the other is to stubborn to ask for it and will do anything to show they wont back down without a fight even it means ending in death. There relationship is hot and cold, Lily wants things to work out as much as Gavin but Gavin's past with Brooke still haunts him and Lily can't seem to let go that Brooke is someone she can't compete with. Not only will Brooke cast a shadow but O is someone who cast a really big road block between Gavin and Lily and tests the relationship they are trying to build. After Lily made the deal with the Cartel it comes back times ten and will test the relationship between Gavin and Lily and the people they mostly care about. I absolutely love this book! the ending with completely shocking and don't believe it one bit ha! but I am seriously holding myself back from rereading this book because I don't want it to end. Throughout this book I felt a billion different emotions, It was heart breaking there were times I wanted to cry, I got mad and upset with the characters (*cough* *cough* to stubborn that Lily), definitely a lot of charm (the hunky British Gavin), creepy and dangerous it made me want to bite my nails there were some intense parts. Everything about this book was addictive, amusing, awe-inspiring, breath-taking, captivating, emotional, exciting, gripping, gross, intense, hilarious and definitely memorable. You did a wonderful job and cant wait till 8 weeks is over for me to get my fingers on the next book!!!

This book picks up right where the first one left off, with Lily headed to London with Gavin. This book was just as great as the first one...It made me love Gavin even more!! Now if only there were real men like him!!! He woos her in the MOST romantic way ever plus he shows her around London. She gets to meet his "best mates" who I absolutely love!!"All the distance and drama allowed me to forget why I fell in love with him in the first place. My feelings for him developed during the quiet time we spent together."Of course this one isn't without the suspense, action, love, and friendship either!! This one was an emotional roller coaster!!! There is a bunch to Gavin's past that we don't know about...he can be such a romantic awesome man, but there are times he isn't! I was beyond upset at certain times..."He puts his empty glass on the table and stands. He looks me in the eyes. “I can’t do this. I won’t.”"Do what?” I scream.“This.” He points between us. “I won’t do it.” He turns and walks out the door."This one ended in a cliffhanger...all I have to say is thank the lord the next book is already out...waiting would be torture !!Will Gavin and Lily make their relationship work after all the ups and downs? Will Max survive his undercover operation? Will Lily be able to stay hidden from the drug cartel? So many questions and so many unknown answers!!!This is a must read!!! There is no way you'll not be able to read this one after finishing book 1 and you'll wanna jump right into book 3!

WHEN FATE ISN'T ENOUGH picks up shortly after then end of WHEN FATES COLLIDE. Lily is following Gavin to London in hopes of healing and fixing her relationship with Gavin. But as fate would have it, Lily's past follows stirring up more trouble and then Gavin's past steps up, testing just how strong the bond is between Lily and Gavin. It's hard to write this review and not giveaway vital pieces of information that must be discovered by the reader as they get to it. But if you read WHEN FATES COLLIDE, than you know Isabelle Richards is about to take you on one hell of a ride. IGavin and Lily are truly a great couple. When things are going right for them, they're fun, sexy, and can burning up the pages. But they spend too much time fighting each other. Gavin is over-protective with Lily, so she ends up sneaking behind Gavin's back because she knows he'd flip. In the end, Gavin flips anyway and they have to do the whole fight, apologize and make up thing. But we expect this, because Lily was the loose cannon. But in WHEN FATE ISN'T ENOUGH, Gavin also becomes a bit of a loose cannon. He's moody, hiding things and spend more time trying to make it up to Lily. He explains why and I could understand his temporary mood swings. But there can only be one loose cannon in this series and I think Lily firmly owns that.I'm on pins and needles waiting for the next book. Fate can't be as cruel as it appears to be, so I'll put my faith in Isabelle Richards that there will be a happily ever after. I'm too invested in this series for it to be anything else.

Five star read.I was gifted a copy in exchange for an honest review.Lily and Gavin met when their lives collided in a crazy twist of fate. Amidst chaos, danger, passion and love is how their relationship has started.Ghosts from their past try to tear them apart as they try to build a build a life together.Lily decides to move to London with Gavin.Trouble seems to follow Lily where ever she goes even though she thought she rid herself of her the demons of her late husbands. Will she let Gavin in or will she continue to fight her battles alone? This book picks right up where book one ended.Still full of twists and turns I couldn't turn the pages fast enough to see what was going to happen in the lives of Lily and Gavin.Gavin is still his charming swoon worthy self and he finally gets Lily after much debate and pushing and prodding her to come London to live with him. When I think the story is going to go in one direction Isabelle takes it the total opposite which I love about Isabelle she likes to keep us guessing on how the story is going to go.Still loving the secondary characters as they really add to the story.Of course Isabelle leaves us with another cliffhanger and I'm looking forward to reading book three. This book and book one are so worth more then five stars.

I loved this book! Lily & Gavin's relationship is on the rocks & goes through some things that test them & meant to pull them apart. I love that when they come together they are stronger than before. Olivia is a real catty person. You get more of her backstory & why Gavin feels he owes her a lot. Even though you feel bad for her, you still dislike her. You also find out more about Emily (Lily's bestfriend), who ends up hurting 2 men she lets get close to her. I like Em's outlook & how she doesn't let anybody get close to her, which isn't good afterall. Lily doesn't look for trouble, but it is still finding her thanks to her late husband the cartel is after her. You find out brutal the cartel is, which gives you the creeps! Lily is strong on the outside even if she is scared on the inside, which I like about her character. Gavin being the knight on a white horse that has to save every damsel in distress seems to be his only flaw, except that he really loves Lily. I love Lorenzo "the godfather" that watches out for Lily. She is lucky she has him watching her back in the midst of everything. You really have to pay attention to all details! There is a big cliffhanger & it'll crush you to no ends, so you can't just stop at "The End".

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️: Five heart wrenching, throat pounding, befuddled stars. It took me a while to process what even happened in book two. Isabelle has the kind of writing that gets you so sucked in that you don't even realize the end is near. And all I can say is....I. WASN'T. READY. In book one we saw the complexity of both Gavin and Lily. But, to masterfully add depth to multiple secondary characters is something Isabelle executed. I laughed at Liam and James' boyish antics. Cringed when everyone but Em saw the games she played. Ached for Max when his innocent optimism couldn't save him. And was touched by Carlos and Zo's uncharacteristic need to continue to protect Lily. This story far encompasses the direction I thought it was headed. Gavin and Lily face real life problems; when things are bad sunshine and rainbows don't magically appear. They work through their issues and just when things are leveling out they're thrust in to reality yet again. I was fortunate to stumble across this series once it was finished. My unsolicited advice? Have a bottle of tequila ready and sit back and enjoy the ride.

Mind. Blown.Five stars! Wow. Mind. Blown. I might have lost my mind with that ending, Ms. Richards! I'm so in love with this series! This cannot be the end of my Lily and Gavin! Please!! Tough-ass damsel in distress. Gorgeous knight in shining armour! Swoon!!! What's not to love, right?!Lily is throwing caution to the wind and following her heart to London, to Gavin. She's healed physically...but there are still psychological wounds that need addressing. Trust. They both have scars. My emotions were all over the place! Gavin was so patient, but in this book we're shown that he isn't perfect after all! Lily's past might not be as resolved as everyone thought. She's faced with her past decisions. Maybe her stand alone actions weren't the best tactics after all. Then, there's 'O'.Olivia. There's a piece of cray cray! Lol! Lily said it best, ' Skanky McCumbucket'. Love it!! She's there, right when she's least needed and everyone is most vulnerable. Lily totally has this psycho pegged! Come on Gavin!!!Gavin. Sigh!!!! Love that man! Ms. Richards describes this man deliciously. Continuously. I have an amazing imagination, by the way.

I read this series as a box set therefore the same review will show on each book. Usually with box sets I have to stop mid way and read something else because I start getting bored with the same characters. This was not the case with this series!!! There was so much angst and drama that it kept me turning page after page. I kept telling myself that I would stop at the end of the chapter to go to bed... then I would be like "WHAT!?! I can't stop here!!!" It was a great ride with Lily and Gavin!!I loved reading with the accents in my head!! I loved seeing Lily face her challenges head on. She was no stepping stone!! I loved that Gavin supported her even though he didn't agree most times! I would love to see more of their story now that the drama is behind them. Maybe get some of Em's story... maybe she could finally settle down! I highly recommend this whole series if you love a good romance with a lot of outside drama that will keep you on the edge of your seat!!!

Once again Isabelle didn't pull no stops. The whole book, was awesome. Once again, I am in awe at how stronger Lily really is and what she pulls off some of the things she pulls out of her hat. Not happy about the cliffhanger and having to wait for book 3 arghh.Lily and Gavin have been to the ringer. They are trying to start a new life together in London after both losing their ex’s, as well as dealing with Lily's ex husbands past.Gavin is just good guy that's annoyingly good at everything. He is sweet, has a heart of gold and is super sexy.I think with all the things Lily has endured, his dedication to her speaks is why I love him so much. He loves her with all his heart and soul but will that be enough for Lily to accept. Plagued with the ghost of Gavins ex Brooke she feels inadequate and has to compete daily with herself . Will she ever feel she is good enough for his Gavin? Are they strong enough to push through everything and give love a fighting chance, will have to see!! **given ARC for honest opinion by author**

Not sure if the story is more about Gavin or Lily or just the struggles they are presented with to make their life adventure happy, but it was a very easy story line to follow. You don't get lost in the new characters being added or side tracked by the already there characters. It all blends in great.if you started the second book be sure to already have the third one to continue the adventure to the end and find who lives and dies. I gave the first one a 4 star at first but after reading all three I changed to a 5 star. I felt that since the first one left you hanging I couldn't give to a 5 but after reading all three they all deserve 5 stars each. Packed with plot twist and turns you don't expect, but it is a great read all three books. I would recommend this to everyone who enjoys the different twist and turns of any good relationship.

Wow!!!! I'm at such a loss for words at how amazing a read this book was. It has everything, angst, suspense, drama, hotness and humour, all rolled into one book. I'm in shock...truly. Isabelle has really outdone herself writing it. I absolutely love Gavin and Lily but what they go through is nothing short of astonishing...I loved a lot of the characters, Em, Max, Liam, James...added such a sense of humour, it was refreshing...made me want to live in the book. I kid you not. With it being the second book in the series, you are immersed into Gavin and Lily's lives so much more than the first book. Hands down this is an incredible addition and with an ending like that...I about threw my kindle....I need the third book STAT...Absolutely gripping and unable to put down.Complimentary copy received for an honest review.

I liked the storyline most of the time, but was upset by all the grammar and punctuation mistakes. I would be really into it, then have to re-read a paragraph due to a missing quotation mark. The characters definitely have their flaws, which makes them realistic, but the main characters are borderline bipolar at times. The amount of miscommunication and lack of trust between them gets annoying by the end and I don't feel like normal couples keep that much from their partners. Or maybe I've just been lucky enough not to have people like that in my life. ;)All in all, I will continue reading the series, because I really do like the storyline. The theme of the books definitely changes over the course of the series, going from mostly romance to much more suspense.

I started this immediately after finishing book 1.I absolutely love series books, I can fall in love with the characters and really enjoy them. This book carries on from where book 1 leaves us. With Lily travelling to London to spend some time with Gavin and wondering if she has made the right decision. She falls into London life assuming she is now safe from her late husbands demons. She was wrong.........................................This book was full of twists and turns and suspense in bucket loads. It had me on the edge of my seat sometimes. The ending OMG the ending, it ends in a spectacular cliffhanger which if like me you know the author will have you telling her you hate her!!Once you have read this one pick up book 3 straight away. Well when its released lol.

Never take this book from me! I love Gavin and Lily so much, I can't even put it into words. I have read a lot of romance novels in my life but they have to be my favorite couple. I love that Gavin is so rational, deeply in love and committed. Lily is very cheeky, spontaneous and funny. They compliment each other so well, it is adorable. Of course there's a lot of drama in their story and it's so damn captivating! I couldn't put this down and finished it at 3 in the morning, only to regret it because of the huge cliffhanger! There are some turns in the story you may expect and predict but there also are some hidden ones that shock you so deeply. I really adore their story and fell in love with Isabelle Richard's writing. This series of her won't be the only I read!
