I was so excited to be able to preview this book! Having loved book one and wondering where the story could go, I was pleased to hear the author created book 2. As with life, the story takes some twists and turns that should challenge any well established relationship, much less one that is just budding. During some very difficult situations you see these characters mature, learning that putting the needs of others first makes you a stronger partner in a relationship and helps them to understand the importance of never jumping to conclusions, never second guessing and always trusting that true love is a very real, very live, very evolving thing, Even with all the issues the couple, their friends and family confront, there is still a very sweet romantic story line that runs throughout. This was a very well thought out and written story that was a very enjoyable read.

What a wonderful, sweet romance. I really enjoyed this read – but I have not read the first book in the series and think if I had it would have made it even better (my bad – it says this story picks up right where the last one left off, so I should have listened!) I really enjoyed Reagan and Ian’s story. Although she has found the perfect boyfriend, life certainly throws Reagan and Ian some curveballs, which makes their relationship anything but perfect. I loved the fact that Ian was just what he seemed – a great guy who truly cared deeply for Reagan…and the things he would say to her…*sigh*…“This isn't just another first date. This is the beginning of forever for you and me. And if you decide that’s not what you want down the road, that’s fine. But Reagan, my intentions aren't just to find another short-term girlfriend. I want you, all of you, for as long as you’re willing to give me.”Reagan tended to create her own drama. Her insecurities and self-doubt often crept in and had her doubting her relationship with Ian or their ability to handle a long distance relationship. Thank goodness for her friend Petra, who was my favorite character in the book. She was like a breath of fresh air and is the friend that you wish you had or the type of person you wish you could be (well, maybe not all the time!) She had a way of grounding Reagan and I just loved her, always giving great advice, helping Reagan see the truth in things, and even helping plot revenge when necessary. And as Petra began devising her scheme, her face lit up with mischievous energy. The kind of energy Reagan had seen a hundred times before. That kind that had gotten her in trouble and saved her ass on countless occasions. It made her feel both a thousand times better, and immeasurably nervous at the exact same time. All in all this was a quick, fun read that left me with a smile on my face at the end. Sometimes you just need a sweet romance, and this is definitely in that category!I was given a copy of this book from the author for an honest review.

This books starts right where The Boyfriend List leaves off. The beginning of the Perfect Boyfriend is actually a re-write of the last chapter of The Boyfriend List and it takes it from there. I like this idea because many times when reading a series, I will read the last chapter of the previous book to remind me where everything left off.Reagan and Ian is such a great couple. She is beautiful but doesn’t see it so she is very grounded and unaware of her beauty. Ian is handsome and could have any girl he wanted and choses Reagan and treats her like gold. It is such a sweet story but also has conflict, worry, anxiety, sadness, and anger mixed in.I really enjoyed The Boyfriend List and was curious as to what new storyline could be added to this second book. The author was successful in continuing the story without having it be a repeat of the first book. She brings in the same characters from the original story as well as introduces new ones. We finally get the story behind Isabella’s vendetta against Reagan and boy is it a good one! However, I still can’t sympathize with Isabella. There are enough forces trying to tear Reagan and Ian apart that you wonder if they are going to make it. Reagan’s insecurities coupled with Ian’s past lead to situations that have everyone questioning if this love will make it.This is a great book and I look forward to the next one in the series!

Apparently this is a sequel, which explains why the too cute perfectness of the boyfriend in the first few chapters made me want to puke. Anyways below is the review and the links. I received this book from the author and from Paranormal Romance and Authors That Rock.I must admit that I haven't read the first book in this series so I was a little out of the loop when the book started off sickeningly sweet. If I had read the first book then i'm sure i would have really enjoyed the perfectness of Ian at the very start. As I moved further into the book and things began to go ever so slightly wrong for Ian and Reagan I enjoyed it more. I think I would have liked to see a little more bite in the conflict but it was enjoyable. It was a quick and easy read and yet delightfully sweet. If your looking for a cute little romance this would be a good book to read, however I would suggest you read the first book before it.I'm giving it 4 fangs.

In this follow-up story we get to see how Ian and Reagan struggle to keep their relationship from coming apart when a series of obstacles are thrown in their path. This time around Reagan is right there fighting for her boyfriend. There were moments when I wanted to shake some sense into her, but thankfully her confidence had increased and her love for Ian knew no bounds so she kept on fighting.Ian, bless his heart, continued to be as sweet and caring as he always was. He matured somewhat due to the events that took place, but he never faltered in his commitment and love for Reagan. He made his feelings clear, stood up for Reagan and did whatever he could to be that 'prefect boyfriend' Reagan wanted. All in all, a fabulous friends to lovers story with a bit of emotions, some humor and romance abound.

The prefect boyfriend starts exactly where the boyfriend list left off. No need to worry about if something happened in between that we, the reader are left wondering about later on in the book. While the start of the book was a little bit sweet for me, it did make sense. Every relationship goes through the 'honeymoon' period. The place where everything is perfect and nothing else matter. However then life happens. It was good to see how the characters handled themselves and the situations they were thrown in it. It felt very real, like I was watching a friend go through the same this. Not just reading about it.Now I just want to know what will happen next. I really love this series and hopefully the next book will be just as good.
