3 Dark and Twisted StarsThis book is certainly NOT FOR THE FAINT-HEARTED and NOT FOR THE YOUNG AUDIENCES, either.Enslaved is an extremely dark book with brutal BDSM, 0.5% romance (?), and with a lot of gangbanging going on. All the scenes were quite disturbing, but I admit that the author is adept in this kind of subject. Marissa Honeycutt was able to bring out scenes that are overloaded with mind-fuckery. All throughout the book, I was like, "WHAT THE JERK IS GOING ON???"So the story revolves around the character named Anna. She has been training to become a sex slave for Devin Andersen since she was 16. After four years of training, she was claimed by Devin and was introduced to the sick and cruel world of underground sex-slavery wherein she was shared by some guys who also indulge in this kind of lifestyle. There were so many cringe-worthy scenes that happened in this book that made me want to hide behind a cushion. The brutality was insane.Enslaved is actually a well-written dark book, but while I liked the writing, I thought it lacked something. Maybe the romance? Or Anna's character development? There was certainly something that's missing. Anyways, what happened to Anna was really a bit too much and I felt sorry for her. I wish she could fight back and stand up against those bastards in the next books.

2.5-3 Stars This book is a series of the most dark Gross, painful, dirtiest notorious acts of violenceThat'll Twist Your Brain I don’t know how i feel about the characters .Anna is kinda annoying whinny naive little girl and devine is sneaky devil , Alex i have no clue what’s his problem , Kurt he is like teenager going through puberty , What makes this book cringe-worthy is «electricity shot through my body» line !! So We have two sadist sick bastards Devine and jack , the douche bag Devine is a married man and a father but his marriage is big failure, and jack is just sick bastard both of them held Anna captive, but the thing is jack is her guardian, after her parents’s death she moved to live with him she was 11 years old , he was nice at first then one day he revealed his true self to her. Anna’s first instinct is to survive and protect herself , her  discomfort and fear and tears were his joy, he was happy to drain the lifeout of her while playing some sadistic game he was just training her for something , the day Anna turned 20 years old she no more belonged to jack, now she was going to be with Devine to be used as sex slaveAfter that i swear to god i have no clue what the plot is ! Sex and more sex and then gang bang and then threesome then a bloody ritual and piercings ? WTF

Dark, Twisted, Depraved...and I couldn't put it down! Take this author's warning seriously! The brutality of Anna's daily life was horrifying. I love a dark, taboo story but her existence was a dismal one and I did a LOT of cringing while reading this book. From the time she is a young girl, Anna is being conditioned for a life as a sex slave. She is beaten down, both mentally and physically, at the hands of her guardian, Jack, and his powerful friend, Devin. Raped, beaten and subjected to every type of debasing sex act you could imagine, Anna is a fearful shell of a person. Her only desire is to please her masters in an attempt to avoid, or minimize, the sadistic punishments that are frequently inflicted upon her.To say that Anna is brainwashed would be an understatement. I struggled to keep my inner feminist from throwing my iPad across the room on multiple occasions. The cruelty she endured was beyond my comprehension. With every page turned, I was confronted with new depravities. I muttered a lot of, "Oh, HELL No" as I read this book, for sure. The introduction of three German men, Wilhelm and his sons, Alex and Kurt, adds some kindness and humanity to the story. The three seem to hold Anna in high regard, as if they recognize her to be of a higher station than that of the life she's been given. Their special interest in Anna adds intrigue and mystery. Some big revelations in the last chapter offer the beginnings of an explanation, but many pieces of the puzzle remain missing. With paranormal elements, and a seemingly alternate reality in the future ruled by men, I have to say that I don't think I've quite figured out how the social hierarchy is set up. Most women in this story, to this point, are slaves that have no power or control, existing only to fulfill the sexual desires of the men, no matter how depraved. However, Anna's few trips outside of the Manor have offered glimpses of other women that seem to be held in higher regard. I am hoping that the world outside of the Manor will be explored more in the upcoming books in the series. I think that having a full explanation of the societal structure would be very helpful.I am very intrigued by this story and can't wait to see how it all plays out. There are so many mysterious elements yet to be explored and supernatural powers that I haven't begun to fully understand. As the first book of five, this book only offered brief glimpses and hints of greater things to come. I cannot wait to see what is in store for Alex and Anna, or to find out exactly what it is that makes her so special and highly sought after. What powers does she posess exactly? I will definitely be waiting on the edge of my seat until the next book is released. I'm both captivated and appalled by this story. This is one of those stories that leave you conflicted and outraged...but you still can't put it down because it is so good. I think it fits best in the "Dirty Little Secret" category!

WhAT THE FUCK DID I JUST READ, SERIOUSLY THIS IS A WHOLE NEW LEVEL OF DARKNESS This is something I never read like before, it's beyond dark. I'm still feeling awed and terribly shaken to the core. Some weird deep shit is going on in this book, something freaking dark, not the typical kinda dark you usually come across way darker than dark. After reading this book I don't think anything can shake me.

I disliked this book intensely. Not for the ‘dark’ content – believe me, that is not dark. Not in the slightest. Nor for the ‘tough subjects’ – Want tough? Read The Jigsaw Man. Or even Heat. Those are what I call tough. Those are stories that had me wincing and (in the case of The Jigsaw Man) unable to re-read for a long time, even though the story, and the writing, were both fabulous. I read the ‘Warning’ at the start of Enslaved although I found it something of a joke really, as if the author is almost ‘squeeing’ with delight at all the ‘horrors’ that she is about to inflict on the poor reader. And.. ‘even more darker..? ‘darker still..? .. even darker…? But not ‘even more darker’ please. Now for the story.I have to admit I was confused more or less from the start. At the beginning, Anna is 16. She has been well-educated and yet she doesn’t recognise the German language and she doesn’t fight back when her ‘guardian’ hits her, which I found to be pretty unbelievable really. Ever seen a 16 year old in a fight? They can be utterly vicious. I would rather stop a fight between 16 yr old boys than one involving girls. (and I have done, in the past). There was a confusing subplot at the start involving two German men, the even more confusing account of the fact (unexplained) that Anna quickly heals and also doesn’t have any hair on her ‘pussy’ (dear god I soon came to loathe that word - what is wrong with the word ‘labia’? Does it offend people?)Other points that I found intensely irritating: Almost four years had passed since Master Devin took my virginity. She is 20 at this point, so she was raped at the age of 16, and yet the ‘Warning’ states: All sexual acts portrayed in this book are between persons of legal age (aka 18 years old).It may happen ‘off the page’ but it still happens! And what is with that ‘aka 18 years old’?? Also Known As 18 years old? ‘Female slaves have a belly ring and a ring on their left outer pussy lip.’ Euw. Pussy again. There was a part of the book where Devin calls Anna ‘Baby’. Over and over, the word leaping out at me from each page, until I was sick of the repetition. I had no ‘investment’ in Anna. She is a ‘nothing’ character as far as I could see. No fight in her, no striving to win or escape or do anything to get out of her situation. Anyway, I gave up at 70% when I was faced with yet another ‘tight nipples under her dress’ and another ‘cock, hard under his suit.’ I like a book that makes me shiver with delight or anticipation, a story which thrills me with characters who ‘live’ on the page, that makes me desperate to read on. ‘Enslaved’ did none of these.

4 DISTURBING starswow, this was one fucked up book!i need to clear my mind for this...to write smth that makes sense...holy shit...so the warnings were true...so to the male characters in hereall I have to say to youand I shake my head to that in "I still can't grasp it all" manner and I wanna hurt you so badlyBUTand maybe, just maybe I would know what to say next...But the things i found lacking were : over abundance, i felt i was mercilessly pushed into "everything", and i was unabled to connect fully with the heroine...i really could not reach out towards her...she was a blurred shattered and battered image, a shell i felt sorry and angry but that only was provoked by the deeds set upon her and not her as a victim...cause her mind was so fucked up by these men...vile creatures that ruined her...The second thing was the mixed feelings i had for the "Germans"...it was too fast, all together, and i couldnt get the hang of it but just until the very end...That s why I also need to find out what happens next, so just fuck it all and go to the next book...

4.5 Stars!Anna’s story is told in five, novel-length books. There is a subculture within our own world that you’ve only heard whispers of. The conspiracy theorists wish they knew Anna’s story. What the conspiracy theorists think they know is only disinformation, put out there to keep them from the real story.I'm mad at myself because I read this book on loan, I don't have my notes or highlights to fully review. I will make it quick. This book is a must read for darkies. A gritty account of the life Anna. There's a secret society surrounding her life, it's not clear how big of a role Anna is, but she's special in a way that had me completely addicted. The best way I can describe this story is, dark & twisted with a side of secret society and a twist of paranormal. Even if you don't normally read paranormal, you should definitely give this one a try. And if you love dark, this one is for you. Trust me!

First gold star for being dark! Second gold star because every heinous act Anna endures pisses me off. All the men around uses, abuses, and takes advantage of her in one form or another. Third gold star for being suspenseful, still can't figure out what is going on. Fourth gold star for feeling all the anguish, pain this young naive girl suffers. Fifth gold star for making me want to read the next in the series. Now onto the review!I came from a good home with loving parents who adored me. Went to nice schools, had wonderful friends and was raised in the art of dance. I'd preformed ballet to the masses, that was when I was free, and could breathe. But a car accident changed all that. She looked back at Jack. “Jack? What’s wrong?” He simply looked at her. Was that disgust on his face? Why was he looking at her like he looked at Tabitha and Zoe? She looked quickly at Devin. “Devin?” she said in a timid voice. “Didsomething happen?” His expression was similar to Jack’sNow Anna has a new life. Lies and betrayal have become her new classroom!

Hmmmm...I love erotica as much as the next person and dark, twisted erotica is my kink..but we have a problem with this book. I expected mind fuckery, suspense, action, and for it to be a thrilling ride until the end. I love the thrill of dark books since it's supposed to make me bite my nails and want to delve into the character's dark world where emotions are raw and unfiltered. This book was more fluffy rabbits fucking daily where the heroine got repeatedly raped and fucked. I lost count of how many times she was raped/coerced/had sex and it made me bored. As a matter of fact, it got VERY boring for me since the plot (sex 80% of the book) was not well defined at all and the characters lacked dimension. I expected espionage action packed, suspenseful thriller. Instead, I got cock hungry, sad life, blah heroine and her mini love triangles. The heroine should make me feel sorry for her and root for her. I didn't. The antihero should have made me hate him and shiver when he's around. He didn't. I was just kinda like "dude..good luck of your world domination get rich quick scheme..but you're boring me." He lacks the ingredients to make me interested since he's just a one dimensional evil dude..zzzz. The hero, Alex, was another snoozer since he was flat and had no depth. Kinda like Cinderella's prince, he's just there. This book should have sucked me in with the world building since it's almost sci-fi, but I just didn't feel it. The characters could benefit from a non Anna point of view since her POV is rather dull and boring. Maybe I'll skim the next one....or maybe not.EDIT: So I skimmed the next book and I'm officially dropping this series because the heroine continued to be raped and the plot did not move forward.

It's really hard to find the right rating for this book, it wasn't really what I had expected only then to deliver what I regard as dark erotica. As much as I want to applaud the author for her story, some things were too much, others too few. There were some factors that just didn't work out for me. 3.25 stars. We follow Anna through her torment and state of slavery. We get to know just as few as she does, which makes her stay naïve of some sorts without emotional development. Still, everyone knows: if someone once treated you cruelly, they will do it again. Understandably Anna claws herself to false hope, believing that if she behaved accordingly, she will be loved again. This stays believable until she experiences the opposite. There's an entire family that behaves and treats her differently. If she were as smart as is pointed out during the book, she would know that staying with them - especially when having some sort of supernatural connection with on of them - would change her life positively. And then she never gets suspicious until it's too late. After four years of 'training' she should know better. There's a lot of sex in the book and it's described well, better than many books I've read, still it didn't have any real effect on me. Some of the scenes were hot, others rather disgusting, but that was well done.We get a lot of information about the hierarchy, and markings for this hierarchy, which I found very interesting, because I really like to see behind the curtain and get a glimpse of the world.BUT! In the beginning we get almost no information about Anna's past, her family and friends, only later on as the story progressed. The beginning left me confused, not only because I was thrown into the story, but also because it moved along far too quickly. For me it would have been better if Anna just came to the manor and briefly explained where she came from just as later on concerning her family. If you don't need much information and don't care about understanding the setting of a story, then you might give this one easily 5 stars. What totally costs this story a star was the hinted magic/paranormal setting. It wasn't explained whatsoever, just put out there for me to gnaw on it and try to find an explanation. So, Anna dreams of her guy, the one who is her savior in her most gritty moments. And then she meets him. But she doesn't trust him despite his family's different and more gentle behavior. And then the magic. They just happen to be able to silence her with magic, the whole ceremony is magic.Bonus Points for the right usage of German, even though, brothers don't call themselves "Brüderlein" anymore, grown men don't call their Dad's "Vati" (Daddy) in public, and "Schatzi" isn't a pet name you use for tender exchanged, but hey, I'm complaining on a high level here. This woman perfectly explained how Germans pronounce the "W" (as a V).I really wanted to give this book enough points, so that I could round up to four. There is just a little problem. I don't care at all what will happen next. I won't read the sequel.*this ebook was purchased*

I'm so confused. What the hell was that? I've read my share of dark romances, where the girl falls for the one who is abusing her and treating her badly, but I have never, ever wanted to smack a girl so bad for being so gullible and naive and just plain stupid. I hated her 'beloved' Devin so much, I could barely stomach their sex scenes. The ones where the sex was between Anna and guys who actually had souls were sexy though. I'm left with so many questions and am sitting here asking myself, 'What the hell is going on??' Alex, Wilhelm, and Kurt were a little ray of hope that just maybe, someone can save her from the rest of those psychos. I'm rooting for Alex in book 2 (because the alternative is a soulless monster).

I have had the pleasure of being able to read the whole story, so trying to write a review for just what's in this first book is going to be tricky. This is how excited I am that this book is finally released and everyone else is finally able to read it!Anna had a rough childhood growing up after her parents died. Jack has trained Anna for when she became of age to be handed over to Devin. My heart broke for Anna. I wanted to bring her home and protect her myself. The things that happen to Anna are dark and not something you'd wish on anyone.Enter Wilhelm, Kurt and Alex- the Germans. Will they be able to save Anna from Devin? We get a glimpse of them towards the end of this first book and they are nothing like Devin, which has Anna so confused because Wilhelm is of the same status as Devin. You will find out at the end of the series if they are able to save her. But until then, things will get dark, then darker, and just when you think things couldn't get anymore dark- they do.

Disturbing. Horrifying. Yet somehow erotic. Enslaved gave me a sense of anxiety the entire time I was reading, and yet, somehow it was fascinatingly - and horrifyingly - erotic that I just couldn't put it down. It's one of those books that I want to hate, just because of the horror of the premise and the disgusting men it portrays. But I couldn't hate it, because even though I despised some characters and my stomach was turning from the acts in this book, the story gripped me, and instead of mere words in a book reflecting off my glasses as I read, this enthralling story played before my eyes. I'm pretty sure this series was only meant to shock. To titillate. To horrify. It did all three, and I'm sure I read the whole story with wide eyes. I'm not a huge fan of dark, but I was in such a funk I needed to try something different. I suspected a shocking, dark plot, and that was what I got. But what I wasn't suspecting was a romance with a mysterious man that I needed to see play out. It's been a while since I felt so entranced in a book. Where my heart beat fast in suspense. Cringe-worthy. Stomach-turning. And fascinatingly erotic. If you're looking for those three, definitely give it a try.

*****5 Mind Blowing Twisted Stars!*****Writing: ★★★★Story: ★★★★★Characters: ★★★★★Overall rating: 4.6 (rounded up to 5 Stars)Overall rating: 4.6 (rounded up to 5 Stars)I don't even know where to start in this twisted tale! I love, and I do mean LOVE dark reads. The darker the better. While this one was dark, it wasn't the darkest I've read, but it was good. Really good! Also, with the author's promise of more darkness to come in the series, that makes me want to jump right in to book two!Anna is such a sweet girl with a skewed view of the world, thanks to her "Guardians". She lost her parents in a car crash when she was 11. She went to live with her Guardian, Jack, and had contact with "Uncle Devin". These two sadistic bastards really are the epitome of psychos! From the age of 11 to 16, they treat Anna like a little princess. Showering her with love and... affection... and all the material things a little girl could want or need. She's very much loved and she loves the two men in her live more than anything. Then Anna turns 16 and her world turns upside down. She is no longer considered their little princess, she is taken and put in the basement where she is tortured, raped, beaten, and "trained" to be the perfect submissive. Until her 20th birthday. That's when things change again. It's hard to tell, is she loved? Is there an ulterior motive? What are Jack and Devin up to? Who are the Germans? Why does she have visions of a man with cobalt blue eyes? The twists and turns throughout this book kept me on the edge of my seat, shouting at characters, and feeling for Anna. I love when a book can do that to me. Great start to what I hope will continue on to a great series read for me. Highly recommend if you like dark and taboo!

God I loved this book so much!! Every so often, whilst reading endless amounts of books, sometimes very similar books. You come across one that stands out from the crowd. One that is different, fresh, exciting, and addictive. A book, that has you glued to every word, on every page, and doing the whole "just one more chapter, then I'll sleep" thing. Then once this said book is finished, you're sat thinking about it for ages, and literally can't wait to get your hands on the next one. Well....Enslaved was most definitely one of those books. I was lucky enough to be gifted a copy of this book. I had seen it floating around the internet and already wanted to read it, but had so many others to get through first. Then saw a chance to read it, and jumped on it. WOW I'm so glad I did. I finished it in one day and I'm still sat thinking about it. Totally new story. Anna lost her parents when she was young, they were well renowned in the world of Ballet, which also happened to be something that Anna loved and was good at. When they died, Anna was placed in the care of a guardian. A man who had been friends with her parents and was chosen to take care of her. Although Anna was removed from the life she knew, and had to live a very unconventional life while growing up, she still felt love and affection for her guardian Jack. Yet once Anna turned 16, everything that she knew and felt safe with, changed dramatically. Anna was apparently of the age, to begin her training. She was being trained to be a sex slave. From that moment on, the man she knew and loved as family, no longer looked, spoke or treated her the same way. He now lived to inflict pain on Anna for any small mistake she may make. Training her to be the very best slave, she can be. Once 20, Anna will be handed over to an Elder. A man with power, connections, money, and prestige. To be a slave to an Elder is a big deal, something Anna should be excited about. Yet after 4 long years of constant abuse and pain, Anna does not know what to think. She used to feel love and affection for her intended master, Devin. He, like her guardian Jack, was someone she has known for most of her life, and he also changed towards Anna when she turned 16. The day of Anna's 20th birthday comes along, and she is finally being taken to the Manor, her new home to be with her Master. This is where everything changes yet again. Some good things some bad. I'm not going to spoil the story by saying anymore on what happens from this point on. What I will say is, this book is dark. Very dark, and there is some quite shocking scenes, but if you like your stories gritty, dark and shocking. You will absolutely love this book. I definitely did! The writing style is mesmerizing. I felt the tension pour out of every scene. I couldn't stop reading as I never knew what was around the corner. The tension oozed out of the words. The characters were also completely addictive. The Germans, Alex and Kurt were delicious, and stood out as being ones to watch. What I truly loved about this book, was the originality and clever detail that went in to everything. From the detail that goes in to the Elders, Brothers, and slaves, and the world and lifestyle that they have know for years. To small things like the piercings that show what your status is within this world. Also, something that hasn't really been completely delved in to yet, but I'm thinking and hoping it will be in the next book, is the mystical and slightly magical element to the world they live in. I can't quite grasp all of it yet, but I know something unusual and not of this world is intertwined in the story. Another reason for me to be stupidly excited about the next book. There is so much still to find out. If you love dark reads, which are different and exciting, this is perfect. I 1000% recommend this book. 5 Stars.

4.5 starsPlease take the warnings seriously because this story is dark, twisted and disturbing in so many ways! There are triggers for everyone there! This is the story of Anna! The story is dark and twisted as I said. There are lots things that I don’t understand in this story but it is so strong and so fast paced that I couldn’t give it up! Ms. Honeycutt has written a very disturbing story in a very innocent way. There are horrible things happening in this story and I had to accept them as the heroine did. The sentences are written in a simplistic way and it works. The story is said only from Anna’s POV and it works.Anna is an unusual heroine. She lost her parents in young age and she has been manipulated and used in millions ways. Somehow she is still naïve and innocent and that’s her strength and beauty. The end of the story was also strong and disturbing. I really need to know what happens next to Anna! So, I will dive in immediately!

Just to be clear - I rate books relative to their genre and this one is dark erotica. And to get it out of the way before the interesting stuff, I'll mention some things I didn't like about the book. It starts off with heavy BDSM tones, and then retreats to numerous episodes of vanilla sex with several men. At first I found the sex scenes quite arousing, but then the excessive repetition left me cold. Same, same, over and over again, almost like a cut & paste operation. And the writing is often a bit weak to boot.Okay, now on to the more intriguing aspects.I can't help thinking that this author must have read The Story of O, written in 1954. In that book we had the chateau and Samois as venues for BDSM training; in this one it's The Manor. In both we have a secret society where women are enslaved to pleasure the male members who are identified by rings, and where women are marked by piercings on their genitalia. However, dark mass type ritualism is more developed in this series. But this book goes the extra step with political (conspiracy) overtones, and that fascinated the hell out of me. In her book descriptions on Amazon she states "There is a subculture within our own world that you’ve only heard whispers of. The conspiracy theorists wish they knew Anna’s story. What the conspiracy theorists think they know is only disinformation, put out there to keep them from the real story."The author doesn't have much of a blog on her Goodreads author page, so I may have to ask her questions on her Q&A section, because the story hints at some awareness of documented incidents involving dark forces among the powerful and wealthy, including elements of the US government. Things like the CIA's mind control program (MKULTRA), the widely publicized satanic ritual abuse cases of the 1980's, Satanism in the military (e.g. Michael Aquino), the Franklin scandal in Omaha, Craig Spence the Washington lobbyist and his video bugged house for blackmailing politicians in the act, etc etc.In fact, if you're interested in graduating from dark fantasies to dark realities, you might try books like:The CIA's Control of Candy JonesThanks For The Memories ... The Truth Has Set Me Free! The Memoirs of Bob Hope's and Henry Kissinger's Mind-Controlled SlaveThe TRANCE Formation of America by Cathy O'Brienand many other books written by ritual abuse survivors.I wonder if Ms Honeycutt was inspired by such stories. In summary then, 3 stars for the great effort and the stimulating questions the series raises.

Absolutely brilliant. I just can not believe it. It's a book I loved to hate, it had me holding my breath, jumping up and down and shouting. I couldn't believe what I was reading. Anna is just such a sweet, mixed up kid, who's just not had the luck. Her parents died when she was young, and the courts sent to her stay with an "uncle". Her vaginity is taken at a very young age, but this is a passing reference. The story is so much more.... about how you see how a young, immature mind can be manipulated and moulded by stronger individuals.I found myself wanting to scream into the book, for her to open her flipin eyes and see exactly who she's dealing with. The trouble is, she knows nothing else. The ritual at the end, just had be sitting on the edge of my seat, holding my breath....outstanding. I just so love Alex. I do not trust, and I hate Devlin....he's a dark, twisted, dirty old man, who I sincerly hope suffers a long, painful death at the hands of lots and lots of lovely young ladies !!!!!!...I hope they chop him into lots of little pieces starting with his dick, then move on to Jack!!Need the whole series now!!!!

Well, I hate to give a book 2 stars but this one did nothing for me. I found it very repetitive and there wasn't much happening to keep me totally interested. If you like a lot of sex with no plot or story line, you may find it enjoyable. No disrespect meant to the author or anyone who rated it high, but its not my type of book!!!

Let's not talk about moral and be open-minded when reading this book. ;DAnd honestly, Anna will grow on you.. That's why I keep reading her story. Hopefully the author won't kill me at the end of the series.

I had been warned by others as well as the author's product description warnings that there are dark themes within the story. I had initially decided against it, but then other members from both DMC and BDSM groups whom I trust and respect had given excellent reviews. So forewarned is forearmed and I had the opportunity to stop should it be more than I felt comfortable reading.Anna the protagonist I immediately liked, her character though is so very naive, her past so tragic...but there are so many reasons for this as the story progresses unveiling aspects of her life, of her becoming an orphan, and how evil and controlling the main antagonist Devin is within her life. Devin is close to devil and well named, pure evil. Anna, owned and controlled by he and his minions treads the path of eggshells constantly trying to please and appease this creature, and his mood swings that are one extreme to another and yet whom at one time through ignorance of other possibilities she believes she loves. Anna constantly tries to appease him and his vile creatures at their will. Trust built, trust dashed, built and dashed over and over, how can she still even consider trusting him?Yet into this slavery, grooming and all its perversions there are Wilhelm, a German Duke, and his two sons, Kurt and Alex...whom is the man of her dreams from the past. They seem so nice, so caring and respectful on one hand...and yet Wilhelm is an Elder, highest ranking in this perverted society, Kurt, appears to like her and treat her with respect but also happy to share her with his friends. Then Alex, I'm at a loss to know whether Alex is good or not, as he appears to be her possible salvation, so why hasn't he helped her escape. Black magic rituals, where do they come into the society...so many questions this has left me with, unresolved at the end of this first story/part...clever Marissa...I now need to know more despite your warnings.Thoughts of the sex slave powers crossed with Dennis Wheatley black magic come to mind at the end of this...and I have to give just five stars. Now off to buy...Entwined

This story had me captivated from start to finish. That said I am still not entirely sure what is going on. But then it is only part 1, so I guess that's to be expected. Due to all the warnings I was expecting it to be much darker, however besides the non-con scenes I didn't find it overly dark, but then I am not new to the genre so might not be as sensitive to that type of content as others. There were many sex scenes that were consensual as well, they were well written, although I got a little tired of reading about how good Anna was at giving head. Although the addition of (view spoiler)[ Genital piercings (hide spoiler)] made for some interesting scenes. As I said the story kept me engaged and I found it suspenseful. I can't wait to continue with the series. There were a few typo's (10-20 that I noticed) but nothing glaring enough to throw me out of the story. NB - Please be sure to read the disclaimer listed under the synopsis of this story. Part 1 is a walk in the park compared to future installments, which contain a number of elements readers may find objectionable.
