    So I made a huge mistake continuing this series. This girl just kept pressuring me to read it and to be honest, I actually wanted to give this series another chance. I wanted to like this series Because when millions of people read a book and claim that they like it, there's gotta be something wrong with you for not liking it as well, right? But I'm wrong. There's nothing wrong with me. There's something wrong with everyone else. It's just the same cycle over and over again. Nothing new, except that Harry --excuse me-- Hardin is even more controlling and abusive. (He stalks Tessa into Zayn's apartment and forces her to leave with him and threaten's to kill Zayn for talking to her. Tell me that's not abusive. I dare you.)So, what pisses me off is how easily Tessa forgives Harry for making her virginity a game. If this girl has any respect for herself she would've filed a restraining order against him. Instead she decides to forgive him and decides she can't trust Steph when it was Harry who played with her heart.The lack of sisterhood in these types of stories make me sick. And it gets worse. Somehow, Harry is in control of who Tessa can and can't talk to and that's another sign of an emotional abusive relationship. When things get tough and you fall into the hands of alcohol . . . that's another sign of an emotionally abusive relationship.When you have sex with a girl and she's intoxicated and you know she wouldn't have sex with you if she weren't drunk, that's another sign of-- --- that's sexual assault. I don't know if Anna Todd wants you to sympathize for Tessa, but I can't sympathize for a character that makes dumb choices.I really can't. If this was real life, Tessa would've left Harry or Hardin or whatever, and went for Trevor or Zayn or whoever respects her as a person and not an object. But the writer isn't doing a good job in making it as realistic like she said she is. I mean, abuse is realistic, but come on.I feel like I would like this book if the whole series ended with Tessa leaving Hard-on for good and marries Trevor --Trevor too good for her, maybe Zed (Zayn)-- and never seeing him again.This isn't a good love story. This is just a girl's fantasy of changing a bad boy, mixed with co-dependency, and glamorizing abuse relationships.Anyways, this series is just boring. And the only reason why so many people like it is because of smut.Why haven't I thought of it sooner?Just add nonsensical drama and sex and there you go! A million reads. I am a genius.There's so many great, underrated stories on Wattpad, it upsets me that people prefer a badly written fanfictions and a relationship that reminds me of the Fifty Shades rather than something original. I don't hate Anna Todd. I'm "proud" she got a movie deal, it proves that anything could be possible. But her books are not my cup of tea and will never be, so get over it.If any After fans are planning on leaving me hate comments, just to let you know

    I don't think I can reiterate enough how much I hate this series... "But Angela why the high rating?"... Well let me break it down for you, this is the best worst thing I've ever read. It's so addictive it's insane. It's like the potato chip bag of books. You don't want to eat more than a handful but somehow wind up eating the whole bag.After We Collided is seriously just the book After again. It's the same shit different day. Tessa and Hardin continue their on again off again, I hate you but can't live without you bull that they did in the first. Tessa is still the same up tight-jump to conclusion- why is she dating this guy- train wreck that she was in the first. Hardin is the same glass smashing-must fight anything with a pulse-emotional flip flopping dbag he was in the first as well. Tessa continues to say one thing then do another. Hardin continues to come up with white pointless lies for again, no reason. To give Todd some credit she did give her characters a little more development and personality in this one than the first. Tessa managed to have a little more spine than a jellyfish and Hardin was a lot more comical than in the first."Just because he can't love you the way you want him to doesn't mean he doesn't love you with everything he has."As far as the plot line goes AWC is like I said above, just After only written in dual Pov between Hardin and Tessa. A lot of people are saying how important this was because we get to see what's going on in both our leads heads... Hate to be the bearer of bad news but there is nothing of substance going on in either of their brains. 95% of the time you'll be screaming "wow if these two just actually chilled the F out and had a real conversation this book would be 200 pages shorter and sweeter." This book is a cluster of what the heck am I reading moments. That being said I did enjoy the dual views. The plot is as delicious as soggy bread an at this point in time you're probably still wondering why I've given it such high marks... Well because again Todd has managed to hook me in. Every time I set this book down within minutes I had to pick it back up. The combination of perfectly placed twist, smutty goodness, my hatred of characters, and stupid plot must have fried all my braincells and in return made me love this story. The After Series brings nothing new or original to the ya/na genre. The moment it pulled the 50 shades of gross it took everything in me not to set this book on fire (if you've read it you know EXACTLY what I'm talking about). Though the characters are awful and the plot is weak all the twist made up for it. Because when those twist happen... Well lets just say my situation looked a little like this:Both took me completely by surprise. Also the smut in this book is so on point! Haters go ahead and hate, don't care, I ate it up! After We Collided had me so mad, so angry, so annoyed, and so so entertained. It's a story about a toxic relationship between an idiot drunk, controlling, cocky dick weed and a naive, pathetic, stupid, co-dependent moody girl, and yet I can't seem to get enough. After finishing the first book in the 'After' series, I immediately jumped into this second book. There was no way that I was going to quit this series with the way things ended at the end of 'After'--absolutely, no way! I had to know how things were going to play out for this disastrous couple. They are like crack! It might kill me. I know it's really not healthy...but I just can't seem to pull myself away from it!If I thought that Hardin and Tessa were going to grow up and start treating each other better, I would've been sorely disappointed. These two are every bit as toxic as they were the first time around. The back and forth, break-up and make-up, abusive cycle continues, strong as ever. Of course, I'm such a glutton for punishment that I had to have a front row seat for all of it!Picking up right where the first book ended, Tessa does her best to try and piece her life back together. She has been betrayed by everyone that she thought were her friends -- most of all, Hardin. Unfortunately, the manipulative jackass succeeded in tying her to him when he tricked her into moving into an apartment with him and away from the dorms. This will make distancing herself from him more difficult than she had hoped.While Tessa makes a weak attempt at moving on, Hardin sets out to prove that his feelings for her are genuine. Of course, every time he starts to make any progress in that regard he does something that sabotages all of his efforts. They truly are their own worst enemies.For what it's worth, Hardin does seem to show some actual emotions in this book. Mainly, his regret and heartache shines through. It's hard to feel sorry for him though, since all of his pain is entirely the result of his own cruel actions. To make matters worse, every time he starts to gain a little "nice guy" stock, he goes and does something abhorrent again, reminding me of what a despicable asshat he is. Some big revelations about his past only further prove that he is not to be trusted. He really is deplorable...but I love to hate him!I also found myself feeling a little more irritated with Tessa's weakness this time around. Can you say "doormat"? How many times is this girl going to fall for his crap? She also played the same childish games over and over, using other guys to make Hardin jealous, only to play the victim when she got the reaction she was looking for all along. I felt sorry for Tessa at first. By the end of this book, I was marveling at the fact that she hadn't been weeded out as part of the process of natural selection. Surely, this girl is too stupid to live!That being said, I still can't pull myself away from this angsty, infuriating story. It is like watching a trashy talk show or soap opera. It's unrealistic. The relationships are toxic. It probably kills off brain cells. However, I can't get enough of it. It is my latest guilty pleasure. I'm kind of ashamed to admit it, but I'm completely hooked on this series.Like the first book, 'After We Collided' ends with a huge cliffhanger. Anna Todd certainly knows how to pull me back in. At this point, I think my relationship with this series is much like the relationship between Hardin and Tessa. I should probably cut all ties and get out while I can, but I just can't seem to resist the pull. I'm on to the third book in this addictive, dysfunctional romance.

    I swear, this is the shittiest trilogy I have ever read. I don't even know what went on in the second one. Um. I don't even know where to start. There's so much sex in this book I can't even laugh about it anymore. It's that boring. So, yeah. I don't have much to say for this shit. But, please, Anna Todd, I think we know that a sequel is a continuation.

    1.5 stars cause 2 stars are too much for this nonsense.Seriously? Seriously? Seriously? This supposed to be a plot twist? I was optimistic about the second book in the series since the first half of the story was, let's say, a desent one. But then Todd had to ruin everything just to continue the story-line and fill the papers with words. Unfortunately, I forgot the most interesting moments by the time I've finished it.I have to thank my buddy reads Mareira, Maria Vrisanaki and Athina who gave me the courage to finish this shitty second book.

    Esta segunda parte de la serie fue toda una decepción, el primer libro aunque no es memorable si es súper adictivo y la personalidad de Hardin me atrapó. Pero en esta segunda parte Hardin tiene cambios súper bruscos de personalidad que no me gustaron para nada, Tessa no conoce la palabra dignidad y el libro le sobran mas del 50% de las páginas. Καταρχήν να ευχαριστήσω την Ευγνωσία που ήταν το πρώτο μου buddy read, όπως και τα άλλα δύο κορίτσια μου, Μαρία και Μαρέιρα ❣ Δε φαντάζεστε πόσο διασκέδασα σχολιάζοντας και αναλύοντας αυτό το βιβλίο! Τελείωσε λοιπόν και το δεύτερο μέρος αυτής της σειράς βιβλίων, όχι με μεγάλη επιτυχία θα έλεγα. Κοινώς τα ίδια Παντελάκη μου, τα ίδια Παντελή μου! Ομολογώ το πρώτο μισό βιβλίο μου άρεσε πάρα πολύ και το ότι είχαμε και Hardin's pov ήταν πολύ ενδιαφέρον. Από τη μέση και μετά μάλλον η κυρία Todd ήταν πιωμένη και έγραφε ότι της κατέβαινε στο κεφάλι προκειμένου να γεμίσει τις σελίδες, δεν εξηγείται αλλιώς!! Αχ Todd, μας τα χάλασες!

    This book, even more than the first one, is like watching a car crash : you shouldn't be watching but you can't tear your eyes away from the disaster. And even though I'll probably roll my eyes a hundred times again, I'll definitively be reading the next one. It's like the book is Hardin and I'm Tessa : I know it's bad but I just can't stay away.

    I really enjoyed the first book in this series but I just couldn't finish this gigantic book full of sh** if you'd ask me! Sorry but it was such a bad book compared to the first one. This whole back an fourth was nerve racking and I just couldn't understand her actions at all. Well, I tried!*** now that I've re-read this book I can proudly say that I still didn't like it as much as I thought I would!It was okay but way too much. But I loved all of the drama and it's an easy, fun and entertaining read! Maybe I'll continue on with it!

    To πρώτο βιβλίο της σειράς After είχε ένα από τα καλύτερα και πιο ανατρεπτικά cliffhanger που έχω διαβάσει μέχρι τώρα. Όπως ήταν φυσιολογικό έπρεπε να προβώ αμέσως στην ανάγνωση της συνέχειας. Δεν ήμουν η μόνη που παρασύρθηκε. Μαράκι, Ευ , Αθηνά μου. Το πρώτο μισό του βιβλίου είναι φανταστικό, ανατρεπτικό και άκρως εθιστικό. Guilty pleasure που λένε στο χωριό μου. Οι ερωτικές περιπτύξεις μπορεί να είναι λιγότερες ΑΛΛΑ είναι εμποτισμένες με γνήσιο πάθος και βαθύτερα συναισθήματα. Όπως και στην πραγματικότητα καλύτερα ποιότητα παρά ποσότητα. Δηλώνω πάλι Χαρντινοχτυπημένη. H γυψοσανίδα και ο Ζέιν δεν είχαν καμία ελπίδα. Του συγχώρεσα μέχρι και τα σεντόνια. Χμ περίπου!Ήταν έξυπνη κίνηση της Todd να εναλλάσσει τις αφηγήσεις. Αυτό το μοτίβο γραφής έχει ακολουθήσει και η Stiefvater στο Ρίγος. Τα κεφάλαια που αφορούν το συνέδριο στο Σιάτλ είναι μοναδικά. Είναι τόσο ρεαλιστικές οι αντιδράσεις των δύο χαρακτήρων γι΄ αυτό γίνονται πιο συμπαθείς και άμεσοι παρά τα ελαττώματά τους. Σχεδόν όλες έχουμε υποπέσει στο σφάλμα να κωλοτουμπιάσουμε επειδή έχουμε καταναλώσει γενναίες δόσεις αλκοόλ . Έπρεπε να υπάρχει app στο κινητό …να φυσάς και ν’ απαγορεύεται η χρήση. Drunk Tess…simply the best! Θα την καλούσαμε στο πάρτυ μας. Καμία σχέση με την αδύναμη και άβγαλτη Τες του πρώτου βιβλίου. Και εκεί που της πλέκουμε το εγκώμιο ανοίγουμε το κουτάκι….worms everywhere. M-ω-ρ-η (spoiler alert) Tέσα δεν ντράπηκες να φιλήσεις 3 διαφορετικούς άντρες ενώ διατηρούσες σχέση???!! Και μη μου πεις καμία ατάκα τύπου Ρος «We were on a break» γιατί θα βουρλιστώ. Γενικά το δεύτερο μέρος έγινε τόσο βαρετό, τόσο ανέμπνευστο. Nόμιζα ότι το ‘’σίκουελ’’ θα ήταν πιο συμμαζεμένο, nope φλυαρία και πάλι φλυαρία από ένα σημείο και μετά. Έπρεπε να φύγουν 200 σελίδες για πλάκα. Hes-ta! Και το κερασάκι στην τούρτα. Ένα αδιάφορο φινάλε , ένα ψευτό- cliffhanger . Θα quot-αρω Μένια «Same shit, different day». Δεν μπορώ να το χωνέψω πως από την ευφορική ζάλη κατέληξα σε ένα ξενερομούδιασμα. Το δεύτερο μισό μπάζει περισσότερο και από μισοτελειωμένη οικοδομή! Θα διαβάσω κάποια στιγμή το τρίτο βιβλίο (800-oh lorddddd-σελίδες) αλλά στην τωρινή φάση είμαι απογοητευμένη από έκβαση . Γιατί Anna Todd , γιατί έπρεπε να ξεχειλώσεις την ιστορία;

    2.75 STARSLike a car wreck you can't look away from... that's pretty much my relationship with this series.There's not much to say about this one that I didn't say in my review of After. Probably because it felt like a rehash of the first book. Tessa and Hardin continue their insane pattern of on again-off again, I love you/I hate you, I can't live with you/I can't live without you madness. There are times when their relationship is so off the charts hideous that I wonder if I'm actually supposed to be pulling for them. Because as written, these two surely do not belong together. Tessa is wishy-washy and easily swayed (despite her talk of independence) and Hardin is a d-bag to the tenth power. But I'm supposed to get behind this train wreck of a relationship and hope for their HEA? Yeah, obviously I'm missing something important. Like a shred of likability.I find it amusing that every guy in Tessa's life desperately wants her, loves and adores her. Noah, Hardin, Trevor, Zed. Note to Anna Todd: this does not make your protagonist likable. It does, however, make her completely unrealistic and gag-inducing.And I still can't figure out why anyone gives Hardin the time of day. He is rude, obnoxious, disrespectful, angry... he consistently treats everyone around him in a way that is shockingly bad and yet they all just seem to go with it. Um, why? Why doesn't anyone tell him to pack sand, take his crap attitude and get lost? Apparently I missed any passages that described his hidden charms.So the toxic relationship continues, the silly drama, the constant bickering and fighting and jealous rages. But, let the train wreck continue - after 1,270 pages, I refuse to give up now.

    En mil pedazos es la segunda parte de la tetralogía After. After 1 me encantó, sin duda fue una de las mejores lecturas de este año y me moría de ganas de leer su continuación. Además After ha sido todo un fenómeno en redes sociales y ha vendido miles de ejemplares y que arrasó en Wattpad como fanfic de One Direction. Pero que no os espante la palabra One Direction, porque After no tiene ninguna relación con la banda y no tiene absolutamente nada que ver.Si ya After uno me gustó mucho After dos sin duda también me ha gustado muchísimo. After tiene una lectura amena y rápida, es una saga entretenida y que gustará a los lectores de juvenil.After: En mil pedazos es una segunda parte muy en la línea de su predecesora, con los mismos personajes y prácticamente con una historia igual. Aún así me ha gustado mucho porque aunque se parece la trama es algo distinta. También es cierto que After 1 tenía más historia que After 2 y se leía bastante más rápido, se nota que After 2 es una novela de transición hasta After 3 y 4 pero eso no quita que sea una buena segunda parte que engancha muchísimo.Me encanta el tira y afloja de Hardin y Tessa que llena todas las páginas de sus peleas y reconciliaciones. Siempre ocurre algo que no se espera el lector y vuelven a separarse. Y para leer After hay que entender que es una saga que trata sobre eso precisamente, sobre la relación de Tessa y Hardin, sobre cómo se separan y juntan una y otra vez.After dos es una buena continuación de saga, no tengo mucho que añadirle a esto porque no puedo más que recomendar la saga. Solo puedo repetir una y otra vez que deberíais leer After, que es una saga muy recomendable, que leeréis y disfrutaréis sin duda, que os enganchará más que cualquier otro libro y que no podéis perderos.

    Inhalt Zutiefst verletzt hat Tessa ihre stürmische Beziehung zu Hardin beendet. Seit sie die Wahrheit über ihn erfahren hat, fühlt sie sich verraten und gedemütigt. Sie will ihr Leben zurück – ihr Leben vor Hardin. Doch da ist die Erinnerung an seine leidenschaftliche Liebe, seine Berührungen, die hungrigen Küsse. Ihr Verlangen nach dem unberechenbaren Mann mit den grünen Augen ist immer noch zu stark. Und sie weiß, dass er sie nicht einfach aufgeben wird. Aber kann er sich ändern? Können sie einander retten, oder wird der Sturm sie in die Tiefe reißen?Meine MeinungIch weiß gar nicht wo ich anfangen soll. „After Truth“ hat mich emotional einfach nur ausgelaugt und mich im Sekundentakt zum Brüllen gebracht. Stellenweise habe ich emotionale Ausraster während des Lesens gehabt wie Hardin Scott, diesem psychotischem Vollspacken. Okay, ganz ruhig. Eins nach dem Anderen. Rekapitulieren wir diesen geistigen Dünnschiss doch einfach mal …„After Truth“ setzt da an wo der Vorgänger „After Passion“ die Qual beendete. Protagonist Hardin jammert dem Leser erstmal in einem überflüssigen Prolog voll, wie sehr er es bereut Tessa als Einsatz einer Fickwette benutzt zu haben. Er jammert und jammert und schafft es unterschwellig alle anderen für diesen kranken Scheiß die Schuld zu geben. Dass der Junge die ganze Sache selbst verzapft hat, fällt dem Psychopathen gar nicht ein. Ich hatte also schon hohen Blutdruck nach dem Prolog.Und dann geht es weiter mit Tessa, dieser unglaublich hohlen Tante. Ich habe schon den einen oder anderen dummen Menschen in meinem Leben getroffen. Scheiße, ich arbeite zwei – bis dreimal die Woche mit einem der dümmsten Menschen zusammen, aber das … DAS geht gar nicht. Tessa ist so ziemlich das dümmste und weltfremdeste und naivste Stück Scheiße was man sich nur ausdenken kann. Ganz ernsthaft, man sollte dieses Weib umlegen bevor es sich fortpflanzen kann. Sie hat rausgefunden, dass ihr Freund, der Typ der sie entjungfert hat, sich nur wegen einer Wette mit ihr abgegeben hat und was macht sie? Richtig! Sie steigt erstmal zu einem Typen ins Auto der ebenfalls an dieser geschmacklosen Wette beteiligt war. Das mag man noch verstehen, da sie ihm Einzelheiten entlockt hat. Aber alles andere was in diesen quälenden 764 Seiten passiert? Nein, das kann ich nicht mal nachvollziehen wenn ich versuche alle meine Gehirnzellen abzutöten.Es gibt ganze Kapitel in denen Tessa im Selbstmitleid versinkt. Das ist keine Charakterentwicklung, das ist hemmungsloses jammern was die Alte veranstaltet. Ich gehe sogar so weit zu behaupten, dass nicht Hardin der schlimmste Charakter in diesem Buch ist. Es ist Tessa. Dieses selbstgefällige Stück Scheiße. Gott, was hab’ ich die Alte gefressen. Pausenlos jammert sie über die Fehler ihres geliebten Hündchens, sagt tausendmal wie sehr sie ihn braucht und ihn liebt und meckert aber im selben Atemzug darüber, dass er ihr nicht gut tut und sie sich von ihm fernhalten sollte. Ich habe da mal einen ganz komplizierten Rat für Tessa: Dann mach es auch! Denk’ mal ’ne Runde mit deinem Gehirn und nicht mit deinen Geschlechtsteilen! Sie interpretiert einfach alles falsch, steigert sich in absolute Nichtigkeiten hinein und rastet regelmäßig aus. Tessa zerstört vielleicht keine Möbelstücke oder Nasen anderer Personen, aber sie zerstört mit jedem Satz meine Geduld. Denken ist für die Frau ein Fremdwort, zuhören eine Fremdsprache und rationales Handeln dürfte für sie einem Flug zum Mars gleichkommen.Stattdessen besäuft sie sich, ruft ihren Psychopathen an und schnauzt ihn dann an wenn er zu ihr fährt. Macht ihn geil, reitet wortwörtlich auf ihm rum und sagt zu ihm so unglaublich anziehende Sachen wie: „Entweder fickst du mich oder gehst.“ Um ihm dann am nächsten Morgen die Standpauke seines Lebens zu halten, weil er es getan hat. Finde den Fehler! Das ging alles von ihr aus und am Ende ist er der Angearschte. Da würde ich auch ausflippen, wenn ich mich mit so einem … Ding abgeben würde. Ihr Selbstmitleid und ihre Unsicherheit in Verbindung mit der grenzenlosen Dummheit sind einfach nur widerwärtig. Sie glaubt alles und jedem, nur nicht ihrem Freund. Dem sie übrigens nach drei Tagen verzeiht, dass er den blutigen Beweis ihrer Entjungferung herumgezeigt hat.Das führt mich auch sofort zu Hardin, dem Psychopathen vom Dienst. Im Ansatz, wenn man ganz lange und ganz genau sucht, ist der Charakter wahrscheinlich gar nicht mal so schlecht geschrieben. Hätte eine fähige Autorin diesen Fetzen geschrieben und andere Schwerpunkte gelegt, dann hätte das hier eine Rezension und kein Rant werden können. Ich glaube nämlich, dass die unbeabsichtigte Grundthematik einer toxischen Beziehung und wie sie sich zu einer gesunden Beziehung entwickelt Potenzial hat und richtig gut hätte werden können. Wie gesagt, hätte es eine fähige Autorin geschrieben. Dem ist aber nicht so. Hardin ist die Eifersucht in Person. Seine Angebetete darf keinen anderen Menschen angucken, mit keinem Mann sprechen oder auch nur Yogahosen in der Öffentlichkeit tragen. Er taucht ständig auf wo sie auch ist und spielt öfter Hulk als ich zählen kann. Er zertrümmert einfach alles; Einrichtungen, Autos, Gesichter, Körper, seine Freundin, seine Familie und sich selbst. Einmal zuckt Tessa vor ihm zurück und dann bricht die Welt zusammen. Oh mein Gott! Er hat gerade die komplette Wohnzimmereinrichtung zerlegt und wundert sich dass seine Freundin Angst vor ihm hat, wenn er wie ein Junkie auf Crystal Meth durch die Wohnung wütet und stockbesoffen ist? Was stimmt mit dem nicht? Des Weiteren schlägt er in seinem Wahn alles und jeden nieder, einschließlich dieser blonden Hohlbratze, die er dreißigmal pro Kapitel anglotzt und sich dabei vollsabbert.Allgemein spielt der Sex eine riesige Rolle in diesem Fetzen. Das ist an sich nicht schlimm. Mein Gott, die sind 18/19 und 20/21 in diesem Buch. Da ist Sex eine völlig normale Sache. Aber muss man wirklich jedes Mal ausführlich beschreiben, damit der Leser zum achtzigsten Mal lesen kann welcher Gesichtsmuskel sich bewegt, wenn Tessa ihren Psychopathen reitet? Anna Todd hat auch fleißig und kreativ wie sie ist alles an Szenarien ausgepackt, was ihr wohl in den Kopf kam. Da wäre der Besoffene-Hotel-Sex (der, nachdem sie ihn anschreit, weil SIE ja wollte und er mitgemacht hat). Dann wäre da der Quickie im Büro, während Tessa ihre Periode hat, die Sexszene auf dem Boden einer schäbigen Party während sie strunzendicht ist, der Selbstbefriedigungskurs, der mir den Lachanfall des Jahres beschert hat, der obligatorische Quickie auf der Couch und der verzweifelte Versöhnungssex. Dieser Sexmarathon wird dann nur von kranken Sachen unterbrochen, wenn Tessa mal wieder ihre Probleme weg lutschen will und Hardin, zum hundertsten Mal, um Vergebung leckt. Das alles wird dann mit Hardins „Dirty Talk“ a la „Ich will dass du mich reitest“ garniert. Da hab ich schon dreckigere Wohnungen gesehen!Die Beziehung von Naivchen und Psychopath gleicht einer miserablen Facebookbeziehung. Alle paar Tage ist es furchtbar kompliziert und verwirrend. Verwirrung ist eh das absolute Lieblingswort von Tessa. Hätte ich jedes Mal einen Schnaps getrunken, wenn sie darüber gejammert hat wie verwirrt sie ist, läge ich jetzt nach einer ordentlichen Alkoholvergiftung unter der Erde und würde wahrscheinlich immer noch besoffen sein. Wie gesagt, jammern und streiten, mehr machen die in diesem Buch nicht. Einer von beiden macht irgendwas aus einem Impuls heraus und dann streiten die sich, brüllen sich in einem Vokabular an, dass selbst dem vulgärsten Fernfahrer die Röte ins Gesicht steigt. Wenige Minuten später liegen sie sich in den Armen, vögeln ihre Probleme weg und beteuern sich wie sehr sie sich brauchen, damit Hardin danach noch irgendwas verletzendes sagen kann. Es spricht schon für sich, dass eine Bekannte von mir, dieses Buch aus meiner Hand riss und es vom Balkon schmiss, weil es sie an ihren gewalttätigen Exfreund erinnerte.Dann gibt es noch viele kleine Dinge die mich an diesem Buch einfach nur aufgeregt haben. Zum Beispiel das fehlende Lektorat oder die Tatsache, dass Hardin ständig knurren muss und wie ein Wilder die Kondompackungen mit den Zähnen aufreißt. Das Tessa allen anderen anfangs nicht verzeihen will wegen der Wette, aber im selben Atemzug mit dem Typen ins Bett springt der die Wette auch noch gewonnen hat. Tessa, die mit ihrem Phone zum Christmasshopping geht und auch sonst nichts anderes tut als einkaufen, putzen und kochen. Emanzipation für'n Arsch kann ich da nur sagen! Dann werden noch Werke wie "Stolz und Vorurteil" und "Sturmhöhe" misshandelt, während Hardin zum aller aller aller letzten Mal seiner Tessa wehgetan hat, wie er immer und immer wieder in Endlosschleife schwört. Er schwört Diggah, alda! Da muss man ihm einfach glauben.Dann wäre da noch dieses absolut bekloppte und überflüssige Liebesdreieck mit diesem Schmierlappen Zed. Also, dass der Typ nicht ganz ordentlich in der Birne rattert war von Anfang an klar und unterstreicht nur mal wieder Tessas grenzenlose Dummheit, dass sie ihm immer wieder alles glaubt. Der Typ ist ein abgefuckter Psychopath, so wie Hardin und fast alle anderen Charaktere. Die sollten alle mal zur Therapie gehen und einigen Psychiatern das Gehalt ihres Lebens bescheren!Ich wusste nach zwanzig Seiten nicht mehr ob ich heulen oder lachen soll. Hardin, der angebliche Bad Boy entwickelt sich zum absoluten Stalker, der sich komplett für seine Ische ändern will. Dass ein Mensch sich vor allem für sich selbst ändern sollte wird vollkommen verdrängt. Was ist das Allgemein für eine Aussage gewesen? Jeder mit Piercings und Tattoos ist automatisch ein schlechter Mensch? Beziehungsweise nicht ganz so viel wert wie andere? Ich kenne haufenweise Leute die das Gegenteil beweisen. Solche Aussagen regen mich einfach nur auf und zeigen, dass die Autorin noch nie etwas von „Leben und leben lassen“ gehört hat. Geschweige denn davon, dass man einen Menschen niemals nach seinem Aussehen beurteilen sollte.Und so geht es über 700 Seiten. Da kann man mein Vokabular ein bisschen verstehen, möchte ich jetzt mal behaupten. Es wird gebrüllt, gestritten, geleckt, gelutscht, gebumst und gezweifelt. Und nach dieser endlosen Seitenanzahl sind wir genauso weit wie am Anfang, mit dem einzigen Unterschied dass ich die Hälfte meiner Gehirnzellen verloren habe.Nach all dem Gemecker, muss ich aber ganz ehrlich zugeben, dass einige One-Liner von Hardin echt klasse waren und ich es gut finde, dass er Tessa klar machen will, dass sie sich niemals für ihren Körper schämen sollte. Dass er aber alle anderen Weiber degradiert und ohne jeglichen Respekt behandelt steht dann wieder auf einem anderen Blatt. Und ich sehe tatsächlich Potenzial. Ganz, ganz versteckt. Misshandelt und geknebelt. Aber es ist das. Und es ist verdammt beängstigend und Übelkeiterregend das ich denselben Humor habe wie der psychotischste Buchcharakter aller Zeiten.FazitNein. Einfach. Nur. Nein!0,5/5 Sternen

    5 very angsty stars I’m just going to assume that you all have read After before reading this review ;) I would be lying if I said that I didn’t absolutely hate Hardin at the end of After, I was gutted and angry and I just didn’t see how Anna would ever manage to come back and engage us again in the story after that ultimate betrayal, I felt like I needed a support group after that ending. You can read my review for After HereAfter We Collided is told from both Tessa’s and Hardin’s point of view and it has never been so important to have both POVs in a story as it is in this book! We find Hardin and Tessa exactly were we left off in After… I started reading already convinced there was nothing Hardin could say or do that would make me forgive him for what he did, and I was more than ready to scream at Tessa if she dared take him back. Little did I know later I would be screaming at Tessa but for completely different reasons.I’m sure I mentioned this in my review for After but I shall say it again, Anna is a genius! Hardin’s POV becomes crucial because you get to see what’s going on inside his head and the devastating pain he feels, and when I say crucial I mean it! We come from hating Hardin at the end of After and then we find out even more horrible stuff he has done and at that point I felt I couldn’t go any further. His pain though and self-loathing kept me going. He is suffering a great deal and even after everything that happened there was no doubt in my heart that he loved Tessa, even as complicated and toxic as the love between them seems to be at times. He has had it really tough and losing Tessa may be more than he can handle. In After We Collided you see a new side of Hardin, one that really wants to try to be a better person, I think you get a real good glimpse at how great of a guy he can really be if he can overcome his demons. One thing is for sure though he is not giving up on TessaBut is wanting to change and be better enough though? Enough to make someone forget the bad times?Sometimes a relationship is so damaged that not even the most profound love is enough. Tessa was at times beyond frustrating, UGH! I felt like slapping some sense into her (I may have screamed into my Goodreads a couple of times "Cut the man some slack for the love of Christ!")I don't want to give to much away but like seriously Tessa, either give the guy break or move on!and on the other hand, Zed! What in the?! All I'm gonna say is... I hope you guys are not tired of the roller coaster of feels though because it doesnt get any easier, they still fight and make up more times than I can actually remember (confession time: I'm here for it!), they have so much to work on as far as trusting each other goes and not just for Tessa but for Hardin too, but there is something Landon tells Tessa that stuck with me..."Just because he can't love you the way you want him to doesn't mean he doesn't love you with everything he has." Ultimately it all boils down to that. Is their love enough to forgive each other? To trust each other? To accept each others' flaws and mistakes? In After We Collided Anna doesn't disappoint though, their relationship is HOT even when rocky, and addictive. It's been a long time since I've read books that have kept me up until almost sunrise because I just couldn't put it down. This book didn't fail to make me feel, and that's what makes me love Anna's work so much, I truly feel despair, anger, frustration, joy with each character, because they become that real in her writing. And if you thought for a second that she would cut us break with the ending, well think again because I was left picking up my jaw from the ground when I reached the last line. Now I'm desperately awaiting the arrival of my copy of After We Fell (the struggle is real!) This series is all consuming 100% fantastic angst and one my favorites this year. Thanks to Gallery Books and Simon and Schuster for providing me with this review copy.

    Mais euh, c'était quoi l'histoire de ce livre? Pourquoi rien n'a avancé d'un pouce? Et les deux mériteraient des baffes à être aussi débiles.

    Ich stehe ja total auf übertriebenes Drama und auf dieses Hin und Her der Protagonisten, ABER in diesem Band war selbst mir das Drama too much. Die zwei haben mich zu oft genervt und ich wollte das Buch öfters gegen die Wand scheuern. Trotzdem war es wieder schnell zu lesen und ich bin gespannt auf den 3. Teil!

    Depois de ler os dois primeiros livros desta série assim de seguida já tenho uma opinião sobre eles para partilhar. São uma obra-prima da literatura? Não. Mas entretém imenso! Acho que poucas vezes li livros onde tanta coisa se passa em tão poucas páginas. Eu senti esta leitura como um vicio, nem via as páginas a passar porque só queria continuar a ler para ver qual era o drama que vinha a seguir e quando me apercebia tinha lido assim 150 páginas em menos de nada. É uma leitura leve e que sobretudo mantém as pessoas entretidas e abstraídas com toda a dinâmica das personagens. A história tem falhas, obviamente, principalmente nos pequenos detalhes e não é a coisa mais bem escrita do mundo mas dá para passar o tempo. Gostei muito e vou-me atirar brevemente aos livros que faltam para ver o que acontece a seguir, uma vez que este segundo livro acabou ali num cliffhanger e quero ver o que se segue.

    Genre:New Adult + College Romance SeriesThe After series (must read books in order. This is book #2).:: 5 Pretty Little Stars :: I don't know what it is about this series but these books are completely addicting. It doesn't even seem to matter to my brain that these two (Tessa and Hardin) are like a train wreck. I simply cannot get enough and I can't stop reading. There is also SO much drama in this series. I mean honestly, the push and pull and back and forth which take up 75% of the book makes me want to rip my hair out and scream yet, I cannot get enough of it. Gosh, I don't know what it is about this one. Subliminal messaging maybe LOL??? But it's just too good to stop. What readers can expect from this one in particular:1. A lot of crying (from the characters, not you)2. A lot of intentional and unintentional hurt and pain (again, from the characters)3. Insecurity4. Breakups5. Makeups6. Shady friendsand more.... If you enjoy soap operas (hehe), new adult romance with a lot of drama but with a lot of heart, and characters that you hate but love at the same time then this is your book. Please note though that you have to read this series in order. Each book in this series surrounds Tessa and Hardin's intense relationship. Also, you will either love this series or hate it. But you should decide for yourself. I honestly love it. :-)Rating:5 Stars

    After We Collided takes place straight after the events of After. Hardin and Tessa' relationship are falling a part, and her heart is broken. Everything she thought was a lie, and Hardin doesn't know what to do. Tessa has lost her trust for Hardin and tries to avoid him at all costs, but fails as they share an apartment. This book focuses on repairing their relationship and the emotional recovery of Tessa. Furthermore, Tessa considers the opportunities of moving to Seattle, which Hardin obviously doesn’t want her to. Hardin is trying to prove his love for Tessa, and it's them fighting but worse.I have read both the Wattpad version and the published. As I mentioned in my review of After, the published version has drastically improved and is free of types, grammatical errors and is extended. The writing itself has also improved, and it's evident to notice the heavy editing Mrs Todd have done. With 688 pages, this book is incredibly long, especially for a romance book. It's slow-paced and includes every (or most) scenes of Hardin and Tessa's relationship, which contributes to the size of the book. Of course, I must also take the sex scenes into account, as there are a lot of them. When I first read this book, it was the largest I had read. Then I read the third book, which is actually still the biggest book I have read (848 pages). These books are long and dragged out, but if you are a sucker for romance, then this will work for you. I treasured all of the Hardin and Tessa chapters, even the bad ones. Their fights are becoming worse, and for the first time, we see the emotional and sensitive Hardin --yes, the wicked and reckless Hardin was actually crying. Not only did he break Tessa's heart, but in the process, his heart also broke. His mother comes to stay in their apartment, and Tessa decides to help Hardin by acting that they are still together. In After We Collided, we are introduced to Hardin's point of view. As the first book is told entirely in Tessa's point of view. Personally, I prefer Hardin's. It's full of darkness and humour, which Tessa's obviously lacks. He also voices his love for Tessa, and it's hauntingly beautiful. I appreciate the length of the book as it's not fast-paced and Tessa forgives him after ten pages. It was first half way in the book where Tessa gave their relationship a second chance --that's about 300 pages in. I enjoyed Hardin and Tessa's relationship a lot more in After We Collided. Now, they know each other and have a deep love. We are past the face of him hating her and her being frustrated with him. Yes, there is still trouble in paradise, but isn't there in most relationships? Tessa has been working at her internship and she is slowly getting away from college. I love how there is more of her work life in After We Collided, and less college, but there is still the right amount. Landon is in it, of course, and plays his role as the 'bridge' between Hardin and Tessa again. As I stated in my review of the first book, I know of the abuse and violence in the relationship, and I do certainly not condemn it. Hardin and Tessa have an unhealthy and toxic relationship, which shouldn't be idealized. If you would like to know me entire opinion about abuse in After, please read my first review. Thank you. In every After book, there is a plot twist at the end. In this once, the major twist involves Tessa. I didn't expect it, but it is looked into with further depth in After We Fell. The writing of this book remains the same as the first one. Thankfully, editing has done well and I continue to enjoy Mrs Todd's writing. It's as colorful and lively as ever, and Hardin's point of view is the highlight of the entire book. I love his wicked thoughts, and they have made me laugh out loud several times. Overall, the writing was perfect for a romance book, and it's nice to see Mrs Todd's improvement as an author.Lastly, I would like to mention there is also no main plot in After We Collided. I believe the Chicago/internship is the 'main plot' as it's mentioned in most of the chapters and affects their relationship deeply. Still, there is no climax. The book remains romantic, sexy and made my heart skip several beats while reading it. I defiantly recommend it for romance lovers and of course, Directioners. After We Collided is an excellent sequel and focuses on heartbreak and recovery.

    Tessa e Hardin.Un rapporto complicatissimo, esasperante, irritante. Una relazione che soffoca, fa soffrire, fa male e che è assolutamente non salutare, non facile, non vivibile. Eppure, Tessa e Hardin da soli non ci possono proprio stare! Ed è questo che mi ha tenuta incollata alla lettura, è il loro rapporto travagliato, quell’amore malato, non sano che li consuma, li fa soffrire, ferire e sbagliare. Più commettono errori, più si feriscono, più soffrono più si allontanano, ma la lontananza fa solo capire ad entrambi di non poter stare lontani mai più!Storia non facile, controversa, che fa soprattutto arrabbiare ma anche emozionare. Entrambi i protagonisti si pugnalano a vicenda. Si innesca il gioco delle ripicche, della gelosia, della disperazione, dell’esasperazione più totale. Ho divorato questo romanzo e mi è piaciuto, non lo nego ne me ne vergogno. È una storia oltre le righe, irritante e sfiancante, ma non sono riuscita a staccarmi da queste pagine, come il suo predecessore, una volta iniziato è difficile staccarsi da questo libro, merito di una narrazione fluida e dei due protagonisti.Tessa e Hardin. Un concentrato di difetti e comportamenti discutibili. L’autrice insiste a dichiararli due poli opposti, io invece penso che siano assolutamente simili. Entrambi gelosi, pronti a giungere in un secondo a conclusioni sbagliate, impulsivi, sciocchi, immaturi ed esasperanti. Entrambi però stanno vivendo una storia così complicata e totalizzante da esserne storditi (e con questo non voglio giustificare nessuna delle loro cavolate commesse nel libro, sia chiaro…).Sul finale l’autrice, però, ci fa capire che in questa storia c’è qualcosa di più, che l’amore è amore solo quando si impara ad amare ed accettare per primi se stessi. Spero che questo sia il perno dei restanti due volumi e spero che l’autrice ci accontenti, dopo tanto penare, con un finale giusto!

    To start with I thought I was going to truly like this fan fiction.I was obviously wrong.This fan fiction is dreadful , from the moment you start reading the second book you know what's happening next. To sum the book up it is basically Harry being a douchbag , abusing and treating Her badly. Tessa acts dumb and she lets Harry manipulate her. The main reason why girls loved these books is because of the sex and the drama. Honestly this sucks , you get tired of the back and forth "relationship" they have. From the moment Tessa realized about the bet she should quit. If she had any self respect she would've known that this thing because it ain't no relationship , harms her. THIS FAN FICTION IS TOO FICTITIOUS !!!! these things are rubbish , I dislike this so much I didn't even finish the second book because you basically know what's happening next! It's just so bad.
