Naturally, the different parts of it take place in legendary locations and cities, with a large use of mythological artifacts and books. Moreover, many names, especially of the ancient characters, recall those of important figures of mythology, religion or actual history.Of course, mostly these characters are totally new, living situations and behaving even very differently from the real, or mythological, ones.Line of Blood Saga, and Ancient Truth as well, is in the end a work of fantasy, in which more than the actual stories, the only “true” thing is the introspection on the human soul, with all the interior struggling a man has, forced by the choice between good and evil....

I bought the book out of clear curiosity and I ended up falling in love with the characters and the detail chronicles that provided a wonderful mixture of ancient times on this planet and modern human narratives. This is a well thought out book that it is a must read for those who wish to become aware of fascinating and expanded perspectives on a compelling subject. The author has done an amazing job in providing the reader with the wonder of our truth origins. It was a bit socking and thought provoking in the matter of actual “African Scorpion men”, “Knights Templars”, Warriors of Allah”, and “Buddhist Fighting Monks”, that always found the truth and always chosen to fight the evil. It made me acknowledge that fact that there were others before us that prepared the ground for us all. The turns and twists of the story left me hungry for more.I found it difficult to put the book down as I was glued to the pages from cover to cover. Brian was one of my most favorite characters and I was sure there was something special about him but the outcome was amazing. I don’t want to give away such and important item of the story but it left me breathless. I now know that I must follow Jack Goodwind’s fascinating saga. The unsettling feeling of mystery and the awareness of the facts blend a fascinating cocktail of an enthralling plot. The author Jack Goodwind has skillfully interlaced scenarios from the present time and the ancient world and I am a fan. If you are looking for a book that is filled with chronicles and overwhelming conclusions, this is the book for you. I would recommend this book to anyone who loves true mysteries, sci-fi, fantasy, and who loves to dive wholeheartedly into unknown worlds of Guardian Angels, Fallen Angels, Demons, Vampires and monsters.

As a fan of the History Channel program, “Ancient Aliens,” I immediately recognized what the author was up to from this novel’s otherwise enigmatic cover. For those of you who may be uninitiated, it relates to theories that our origins as a species on Earth actual hail from extraterrestrials who visited this planet in the distant past. (Of course, if you’re religious and give the credit to God you need to admit that by definition God actually is an extraterrestrial.)The author has a strong, entertaining narrative style that keeps you turning the pages. He’s bitten off a lot of speculative history and it’s comforting to know that this is but the first of an untold number of stories he intends to write on the same subject.I thought the romance element was a little on the sappy side but since the author is Italian it’s forgivable. I would have liked more detailed descriptions of the various exotic locations and aliens but it did flow as if Jack were sitting there in my living room telling me the story. The main characters got somewhat lost in favor of Enlil, Enki, Anu and the Annunaki in general, but it was quite entertaining to read his interpretation of these infamous mythological figures and speculate on whether their origin might indeed be buried somewhere in ancient truth (pun intended).

ANCIENT TRUTH is a compelling and very interesting story about the beginning of this planet's history. The arrival of the first conquerors and the creation of the first kingdom are just a small part of a new, surely to be, best selling saga. Fearless Anu,the first Fallen Angel, the devil, the pure evil, starts a war against his brothers, the Angels, with the intention of becoming the new God of this and many others Galaxies. As the story reveals itself, you'll find many well aimed interpretations of myths, actual history, even urban legends, which make you imagine a completely different and vivid scenario of how our past could have been. As pages keep turning you'll be thrilled with Jack's imagination and capability to put together such a complex and marvelous story. I can't wait for the sequel that, as I imagine, will bring much more surprises and unexpected twists like this truly unique story already did.

Best stories do not have an endingAn Alien Empire before humankind? An urban legend or a hidden truth? Are we "completely" human? "Human" as far as our science has discovered till today and as far as our written memories, that we call history, could remember. There are some theories that reveal mysteries that we feel them like part of ourselves, like something we should know, but we don't anymore. In this book, the author tells a story of an ancient earth chronicles according to Zecharia Sitchin's theory, mixed with the modern human chronicles, that makes the reader part of a humanity that awakes to the truth about its origins and part of those human beings that realize that this ancient truth could change their lives.Best stories do not have an ending, but they continue in our thoughts, and they continue to live around us.This book tells one of these stories.

"Ancient Truth" by Jack Goodwind is a fantasy book as I always wanted to read. So often I have heard about this alternative version of history, of the Pyramids being built by Aliens and similar stories. Yet, I've not found entertaining stories like "Ancient Truth" that play out that scenarios in such a satisfactory way and with such an excellent blend of fantasy, mythology and fiction. It starts 500,000 BC with an Alien fleet approaching Earth and skips then to Scotland and other locations in 2013. Thriller and fantasy novel in one the book however also touches on deeper notes that reflect on our beliefs and the human race.Ancient Truth is the first book in the Line of Blood Saga and is a promising start to the series that has still plenty of territory to cover with its millennia spanning story and the wide variety of legends and myths.Hugely enjoyable and thought provoking.

I love what this author has done here. A riveting book. The book is truly gripping with great characters and a really different approach to the angels/demons/vampire story. The book is written from the different perspectives of the time and the characters within that time, but the clever thing is how it relates to us in the present now and how our belief in the beginning of humanity could be altered if we knew the truth. Trouble is how do we know what the truth is?There's some nice description of ancient times too which added to the atmosphere of the book. All very interesting stuff.

Interesting read! This was pretty good. I liked the story and was suspenseful. I found some parts were kind of cheesy, but it didn't detract too much from the story. This was a fun, quick read.

Nice idea, poorly executed. To me, the book comes across as juvenile. The wording is awkward. There is the impression that it was written by a preteen. It is more of a child's daydream than a serious book. Phrases like, "at top speed, only to return faster." and the over use of the word "indeed". Can not recommend this book for young adults because it teaches poor writing. Can't believe the good reviews it has. I definitely disagree.
