But the sexy southern CEO turns out to be a challenge she can't resist, because if anyone needs to meet his soul mate, it's this man. And if matching him with someone else removes the temptation of being near him? Even better. The last thing Caine McNeill needs is a matchmaker—especially a gorgeous redhead who spouts nonsense about soul mates, critiques what he drives and how he dresses, buys him a dog, and pesters him about a million little things he couldn't care less about. It's a crying shame he has to keep his hands off because chemistry like what's flaring between them ought to be explored. Thoroughly. And so the battle begins. Addison is determined to stick to her plan of setting him up on dates with other women, and Caine is equally determined to ignore these women and seduce her....

THREE MATCH ME STARS."Each person only got one soul mate - it was the glorious and tragic truth of life."Katee Robert is an author who I'll always gravitate towards, her books are filled with romance, great characters and witty conversation. As an 'entangled' enthusiast I almost certainly have my favourites amongst the authors and this author is definitely in that group. Now that this publishing house has decided to branch out and create books under the Lovestruck title I can only be more excited that I'll be reading more from this author that I have grown to love. What's it all about?Meeting his match was an enjoyable story with a match making twist as usual with a Katee Robert novel the characters were mostly likeable with a theme of steamy sexual tension, seduction and sweet romance throughout. The story follows Addison st. Claire who makes her living as an expert matchmaker and the 'no time for love' business man Caine McNeill. The tables soon get turned on our feisty red head as her meddling into caines love life turns into undeniable attraction and lust between them both. A few twists and turns and up and down drama and you are left with 200 pages of enjoyable romance. Why not five?Overall I didn't fully connect with the plot and sadly the heroine somewhat irritated me with her thoughts and feelings. It's unlike me to not fall insanely in love with a Katee Robert novel unfortunately this time around it didn't have that 'suck me right in factor' that I so often have with this authors writing. However I did enjoy this short novel and it took me no time at all to sit back and enjoy a couple of hours of this authors writing.Final thoughts ...If you are a fan of a light romance with a likeable twist then I'm sure you'll get wrapped up into Caine and Addison's story. There was plenty to enjoy about this novel and although I didn't fall head over heels in love with this book I do appreciate this authors talent of putting together a story. I'm hoping other readers will like this too, enjoy ... Kisses.*ARC generously provided by entangled publishing in exchange for an honest review.*

3 CEO meets Match-maker StarsShe'd gone and thrown away every single one of her rules for himRemember Brock from Seducing the Bridesmaid? Well this time it's Brock's sexy older brother's turn at a HEA. And who better to match him with than a matchmaker that also happens to be Regan's friend?Addison St. Claire is a successful New York matchmaker. What she may lack in her own love life, she makes up for with her clients. So when Addison's friend Regan asks for a favor in matching her workaholic brother-in-law, Caine, she only struggles with it for a few minutes before saying yes. The problem? Convincing the man that he actually needs her help. But she's determined, even if it means moving into his Tenessee mansion and dogging his every step.Unfortunately it's a little difficult to match a client when all he's focused on is seducing you into his bed. And Caine? Well let's just say he's very convincing, in and out of the boardroom. It doesn't take too long for the chemistry between them to be too much to deny.I wasn't quite sure why, but I struggled to form a connection with the 2 characters from the very beginning. Technically this is usually the recipe that never fails to entice me. However it never quite happened here. While i did enjoy parts of this book, other parts had me raging and wanting to pull my hair out. Why? One word, AddisonShe drove me out of my mind batty with her "one soul-mate per lifetime" business. Caine made his intentions clear from the get go, but the way Addison behaved reminded me more of a confused and hormonal teenager than a woman in her late 20s. Her constant back and forth made me want to reach through my kindle and just shake some sense into her.Could I understand the why's of it? Sure. Was it enough to make me look past her at times just plain hurtful treatment of Caine? Not even close.I felt like SHE should have been the one to fight for Caine and not the other way around. So sadly, this managed to really diminish my enjoyment of the story.I did love catching up with Brock and Regan and the epilogue was super cute as well. But unfortunately when I dislike a heroine or just can't connect with her, it will never really bring a book any higher than 3 stars for me. Such was the case here. But please don't let this deter you from reading the book. It was a great installment in what looks to be a very promising series. While I didn't love it, I can't say I hated it. It was a like for me. But I will gladly read the next book in the series. I do enjoy Katee Robert's writing, but sadly you can't please everyone, and I do tend to be picky when I don't like a heroine.***ARC courtesy of publisher via Netgalley in exchange for an honest revew***For more reviews visit

3,5 Matched Stars Addison is a match-maker and love what she does, but lately what used to make her happy, now only make her see what she's losing. Especially since she believes that she already lost her chance in love. Until the day her best friend asks her to match her brother in law, the lonely and broody CEO, Caine. And a spark that she wasn't expecting appears. But how does she match someone she believes that belongs to someone else?Especially when he also don't want to be matched with anyone but her?Rating:3,5 StarsStoryline:A sweet and slightly predictable romance for when you need a quick and low on angst story. Writing Style:Third person. Dual Pov. Engaging, sweet with an easy flow.Character Development:Addison was good and sweet although a little insecure for my taste. 4 - She was a complication he didn't need. Stars!I really enjoyed reading Meeting His Match; if this is the quality of writing we can expect from the new Lovestruck line from Entangled, then I will be front and centre for each new release going forward.Addison and Caine were both likeable and easy to get along with, and the story was one of romance, seduction and happily ever after, with a few laughs thrown in along the way. Katee Robert really knows how to give the reader exactly what they want when it comes to romance. Both of the lead characters were strong, well rounded and knew what they wanted, and although Addison had a few wobbles along the way, I like that most of the drama of their developing relationship came from outside factors rather than from the couple themselves. He looked at her like she was virgin territory that he was about to conquer and claim for his own.I really liked Caine McNeill (Brock from the Wedding Dare Series older brother), and by saying I liked him I mean I really, really liked him. Nothing gives me the quivers more than a man full of charm and who uses the term darlin’ in a way that makes you feel he is verbally pulling your panties down. Caine does that, and with oodles of charm to spare.”Tonight is about you darlin’. Whatever you need, I’ve got it covered.”Addison has heartbreak and loss in her past, she believes strongly in soul-mates, and that we all only get one true love. She thrives on giving others their ‘Happily Ever Afters’ and has made it her business with the success of Connected at the Lips, lately though the sparkle seems to have become a little tarnished and the satisfaction she once felt seems to be missing. Taking on the job of matching the CEO of McNeil Enterprises with his perfect match, seems like a great idea to get her out of the rut she finds herself in, she just never imagined that she would be the one who fits with Caine perfectly.”I’ll make you a deal” … “I won’t kiss you again” … “But next time you kiss me, all bets are off.”The build up between these two simmers and sizzles, I loved that they didn’t immediately jump into bed together, and that everything developed between them at a steady pace as the book progressed.”You don’t have to do it alone” … “You could do it with me.”A perfect start to the Match Me series, I loved the epilogue, and I am looking forward to seeing where Katee Robert takes us and who with, in the next book.ARC generously provided via Netgalley, in exchange for the above honest review.

If you love Katee Robert, I doubt you won’t love this. Although slightly tamer than her usual offerings, she delivers every element we have become accustomed to in her books. With a man to fall in love with and a strong-willed lady who captures his heart, Meeting His Match left me a very happy girl.Caine McNeill lives to work. And the man is miserable. With an overbearing father, a brother miles away with his own family and a huge house he’s rattling around, it’s no surprise he’s lonely. Addison St. Claire is his sister-in-law Regan’s best friend who runs a dating agency. Unbeknownst to Caine, Regan sends Addison to the deep south to sign her bro’ up and find him the love of his life. See where this is going…? Lovely. He may be the millionaire CEO, but Caine is a complete treasure. This southern gentleman is the perfect blend of sexy, charming, sweet, bossy and brooding and I loved him. And when I read the words greying at the temples and beard, out popped a little moan of appreciation. He may be filthy rich, but he’s grounded, realistic, makes no secret of what he craves in life and this is why I adored him. Addison was equally as likeable, she frustrated a little but in an understandable way and she has a good heart. They have a wonderful chemistry and his determination to make her see they are perfect for one another makes for a sexy, romantic journey that I devoured. So if you’re looking for an easy-read, captivating romance with wit, touching moments, passion and some tension this is the book. Goes without saying, I recommend. If this is what we can expect from Entangled's new Lovestruck imprint, I'm sold.(It’s worth mentioning that this is loosely related to Seducing the Bridesmaid, one of Katee’s Brazen books. Whilst characters do cross over, Meeting His Match can easily be read as a standalone.)Copy received courtesy of Entangled Publishing for an honest & unbiased opinion

ARC generously provided by entangled publishing in exchange for an honest review..3.5 stars, darlin'I loved the Come Undone, Out of Uniform and Wedding Dare series from Katee Robert, so was very excited to be reading her latest Match Me series, being published under Entangled newest imprint; Lovestruck.NY matchmaker, Addison St. Claire, has a stellar reputation in getting people successfully matched & on the road to Love town. Her best friend (Regan from the Wedding Dare series) has put forward her brother-in-law as a very suitable candidate for Addison’s adept skills, so suggests she makes a special trip south to meet and match him.Caine McNeill is a very successful CEO who doesn’t have time for too much play. The arrival of the familiar redhead, with her eagerness to exude the benefits of finding your soul mate, is met with irritation closely hiding a lustful fascination. Addison temporarily moves into his house with a dog….and her puppies…which she couldn’t separate. Here commences her dissection of Caine’s life, and attempt to introduce him to the habits of someone more likely to appeal to a prospective love interest.I enjoyed the premise of this story, and the banter and chemistry didn’t disappoint. Watching Caine soften and start to relish the idea of Addison as his target was great reading. So I had nothing but admiration and pure lustful thoughts myself towards Caine, but I’m afraid Addison just didn’t stick to me like I would have expected. Her initial strong presence and bolshie attitude towards Caine’s obvious attraction, was amusing, endearing and created some great repartee between them. But this seemed to wane as the story continued, and she came across as indecisive, contrary and damn right annoying. I guess my level of irritation was prodded, and I just didn’t like her. It’s funny how a character can affect your review so profoundly. I love Katee Robert’s voice, and it was no different in this story. Fortunately, Addison will not put me off any of her future works whatsoever. I think Caine held my attention quite nicely, bless him!

I am officially sold on the new Entangled Lovestruck imprint.  This book was kind of a no brainer for me though because Katee Robert is one of my favorite authors.  I fell in love with Brock McNeil in the Wedding Dare series novella, Seducing the Bridesmaid and shortly after its' release Ms. Robert informed us that Brock's big bro, Caine, was getting his own book! I have absolutely complaints about this book.  I really liked Addison and I loved Caine and I absolutely loved them together.  They had instant chemistry and an attraction to each other and there wasn't a whole lot of dancing around that attraction.  This book was a super easy read and it wasn't full of angst and obstacles...not saying there we NO obstacles but it was reasonable. Caine was...delicious.He went still, as fascinated by the confused look on her face as by the warmth of her touch against his chest.  She stared at her hand like it didn't belong to her. "Um..." If he were a better man, he'd extract himself from this situation and let her retreat.  He wasn't a better man.  He closed the small distance between them and did what he'd wanted to do ever since he set eyes on her.  He cupped the back of her neck and kissed her.I am here to tell you...Caine is the better man. :)  Every time he said "Darlin'" to Addison, I melted into a gooey puddle.  I loved that very same thing about his brother Brock and I almost wish there were more McNeil brothers to read about!  I also really liked hearing about Regan and Brock (we get a couple of little cameos from them) I cannot wait to read more from this imprint, I really liked the concept of this one and I can't wait to see what Ms. Robert releases next! I am a fan of Katee Robert and when I saw this title I knew I had to grab it! If you’ve read Katee’s contribution to the Wedding Dare Series, then you might recognize the names of our main characters in Meeting His Match. First we have Addison St. Clair. She’s Regan’s friend, and she’s a matchmaker. She’s grown up believing in sole mates and that everyone only gets one perfect match in their life… and she had hers. So she gets that thrill of relationship firsts vicariously through her clients, and she’s successful! Regan convinces Addison that she is needed to save her husband Brock’s older brother from a life filled with only work. So she is off to Tennessee.Caine McNeil has spent his entire life trying to live up to the expectations that his father has laid out for him. We learned a bit about those in Seducing the Bridesmaid, but we find out all the dirty details in Meeting His Match. Caine is unhappy though, he’s not sure he’s doing what he’s loved, but his problem is that he isn’t sure what else he likes to do. He spends all his time at his office and with no one to go home to that’s easy to do and it’s possible he’s spent more nights on his office couch than in his own bed. When Addison storms into his office demanding he start figuring out what he wants out of his life he’s prepared to send her away. But he can’t deny the chemistry that blooms between them and Roberts does an amazing job building the tension between these two. And Caine… I don’t know what it is about this man, because I never thought I’d swoon over a well-placed “darlin” but he sure worked for me. From his initial stubbornness to his realizations about his feelings and coming to terms with them, as well as his own self-discovery, I really found myself falling for him right along with Addison. No matter how much she denied it. And even though her feelings about sole mates frustrated me a bit, I was happy to see her make a few realizations of her own.Robert has created a light, fun story with plenty of heat and swoon. If you’re looking for a quick, sexy read, make sure you grab this one as soon as it arrives.Thank you to Entangled for the advanced copy in exchange for my honest thoughts.

This was an enjoyable read. At first, you think that the characters were incompatible, but as the book continues, they begin to open up and be themselves. Their chemistry was good. I thought both main characters learned something about themselves. Addison learned that she can love again, and Caine learn that he deserves love. I loved the epilogue when (view spoiler)[ she finds out they are having a baby boy, it was cute. (hide spoiler)]

**You can see this full review and more at Book Briefs: http://bookbriefs.net**Meeting his Match is a standalone title, as well as the first book in the Match Me series. It is from Entangled's Lovestruck line and I think I have found one of my new favorite imprints from Entangled. These books are perfect for when I am in a romantic kind of mood. Ok, let me set the stage for you. Reagan sends her successful professional Matchmaker of a best friend down to help out her brother in law find his soul mate. Caine is a complete workaholic, and hasn't really made time for anything else in so many years. I really liked the premise of the story, it was simple, but it worked oh so well.Addison is a force of nature. She just sweeps into Caine's life and kind of starts mixing everything up. I loved it. It was exactly what he needed. She really was like a breath of fresh air in his life. I  was immediately drawn to the fire that they each brought out in the other. Addison has her own sad past that has clouded her view of love. She saw her grandparents beautiful marriage and her grandmother also told her that everyone got their one true sole mate and once you found them, that was it. That was the only person you were meant to have. Addison found her soul mate in her high school sweetheart. She was married to him young and completely happy...until he died overseas. Now she thinks her chance for love is gone, so she sets other people up. She is a very thorough match maker. She even bought Caine a whole little group of fluff ball puppies to make Caine more approachable, and she named them after the ninja turtles. How can you not love that??I loved Caine. He is a guy that knows what he wants and he is not afraid to put in the hard work for it. He is charming. And when he turned that charm on Addison, I have no idea how she held out as long as she did. Ummm hello...I just want to put in him a room with me and have him call me Darlin' all day. Yep, that would be great. At first him and Addison completely butt heads, but eventually  he comes to like her. And then the real fun begins. Addison puts the breaks on big time, and Caine is so adorable in his attempts to convince her. I just really loved their dynamic. Their chemistry jumped off the page. The story is swoony and sweet and hot at the same time. It is a great story to make you feel good. I loved the dual point of views, and I loved how Addison affected Caine thinking. It was great to see how invested in her he was. Caine makes the list of my book boyfriends for sure.Meeting His Match is a great premise for a series of standalone romances. I really want to see the story on Caine's brother. It would have to be a prequel story I guess, so I am not sure how that would work, but his relationship with Reagan is something I want to find more about. Then again, I want to see more of Addison and Caine (and all those cute little puppies!) so I am going to need a bunch more books. Yep, please get on that Katee. This review was originally posted on Book Briefs

This fantastic story in the new Lovestruck imprint line from Entangled Publishing is the story of Caine and Addison. Caine is a workaholic with no time for a relationship. Addison runs a matchmaking company and is sent by Caine's sister-in-law to help him find a partner. The only problem is that the match he wants is the one Addison won't give him - herself.I loved this book! The characters were wonderfully portrayed. Caine is a commanding handsome man, not giving any thought to trying to fit a woman into his life until the unconventional Addison lands on his doorstep. Still his outer shell hides a tender and caring man underneath, one who is determined to show Addison that he can be the man for her, if she'll only open up to him. Addison is feisty yet sweet, wanting to help people find the loves of their lives even while not admitting to herself that she needs someone too. The sexual tension between them flares at their first meeting and the eventual love scenes are emotionally engaging and steam up the pages. The alternating points of view give excellent insight into the thoughts and emotions of Caine and Addison. The secondary characters introduced add humour, some mild tension and make for a well rounded story. The overall tone of the book is fun and lighthearted, and I found that once I started it, I didn't want to put it down until the very last page and the happy ever after. I can't wait to read more from Katee and this new imprint! 5 heartwarming stars!

First of all, this cover is true to its main characters. I love those covers.Addison loved her late husband who was killed in Afghanistan and she has this notion that he was the only man for her. For Addison, soul-mates are once in a life time. On the other hand, Caine lives a shell of a life with work and his father's company taking all of his time. The last on his mind is a soul-mate until Addison comes into his life.Meeting His Match is definitely an enjoyable book with good writing.. I was not impressed with the first 10% of it because I felt the two MCs weren't that compatible.. But surprisingly the writing didn't have them ripping each other's clothes off for a short book. There were some really funny situations where Addison set up Caine on some dates and how she got him dogs and always managed to get under his skin with her evaluations of his non-existent life. I did not like Caine's parents at all. His father was arrogant and rude and sexist *gag*The writing showed how each really needed the other very subtly. And after the 30% mark, I needed them to just get together. They were that good. I enjoyed the writing and I can't wait to read more from Katee Robert.

ARC Courtesy of Entangled Publishingmmmm so rather difficult for me to review this one, because Katee Robert is one of my all time fave authors...however this one was just maybe a tad disappointing.I loved Caine, thought he was great but I just could not like Addison. Her whole "soul mate" thing was way to over the top for me and in the end it just grated my nerves.Caine is the brother of Brock whom we met in the Wedding Dare series. He is married to Regan who is Addison's best friend. She runs a match making company in New York and Regan hires her to go down to Tennessee and find a perfect match for Caine. The sparks between these 2 fly but because Addison was previously married to her "soul mate" who died in Afghanistan, she does not believe their is any chance for the 2 of them to have their HEA.Caine decides to do everything in his power to prove he is her match, and make her his.Still a very sweet story and the writing is awesome. Looking forward to more in this series....

Meeting His Match by Katee Robert was a read that cannot be missed! Chemistry, charisma, attraction and drama abound in a read where the characters will captivate you and charm you from the start of the book right through to the last page! There isn't a part of this book that could be faulted. It was just a scintillating, beautiful read that pulls at the heartstrings and sucks the reader into its vortex.Cain and Addison's characters were a perfect mix of confident and passionate, with a definite hint of vulnerability. Engaging, strong, stubborn and completely attracted to each other made for a fireworks show throughout the book. Their interactions were at times hilarious and emotional to assertive and stubborn and the dialogue was written to perfection! Meeting His Match by Katee Robert was a magnificent start to the Match Me series and a sure fire stand out!5 Stars!*ARC Received courtesy of Lovestruck, an imprint of Entangled Publishing

Once again Katee Robert gives us an entertaining, swoonworthy read. I liked sassy Addison when we met her briefly in Seducing the Bridesmaid and I was intrigued by Brock’s older brother. I’m so glad that Katee decided to give us their story. I knew there had to be more to Caine McNeill than the older brother who got their father’s approval. The McNeill patriarch always sounded like such a jerk (actually this word is inadequate, but the right word would get my review banned), but that didn’t quite jive with the idea I had of Caine in my head. In this book we get to see how much of a jerk their father is and how great of a man Caine is. He’s trying so hard to make his father happy that until Addison waltzes into his world he doesn’t realize how much he’s actually giving up.Addison is a spitfire who lives her life selling the soul mate principle to the clients of her matchmaking service. She wholeheartedly believes, thanks to her grandmother, that everyone only gets one soul mate and she’s in Tennessee to help Caine find his. She goes so far as to even get the man a dog…that comes with four adorable puppies. I absolutely loved how Gollum and the puppies wove their way into Caine’s life despite his reluctance. But they had nothing on Addison. She steamrolled her way right into Caine’s world without realizing exactly what it would mean for her.I absolutely loved watching these two try to fight what they had. Their chemistry was evident from the start. They both put up a valiant effort, but the pull between them was too much to ignore. I loved watching Caine change over the course of the book. I loved watching Addison realize that maybe she didn’t know everything about love despite her past. This was a great read. I hated having to put it down and devoured it as quickly as I could. While this is a sort of sequel to Seducing the Bridesmaid (which is part of another series), you do not need to read Seducing to enjoy Meeting His Match.

::3-1/2, actually - I'm rounding up because I liked this better than its prequel, SEDUCING THE BRIDESMAID!::In The Wedding Dare series we were briefly introduced to Addison St. Clair, Super-Matchmaker. A professional friend of Regan Wakefield, the Main Female inSEDUCING THE BRIDESMAID, Addison's presented as a combination Private Eye and Empath, immediately picking up on how Brock McNeil is her Soul Mate (though based on that book, I was pretty sure it just meant Addison had read ahead to the Epilogue - because there was nothing in there to suggest those two are remotely compatible!). In this book, we discover the woman behind the Colorful Flakey Bit Player - a young widow whose military officer husband died in the Persian Gulf, Addison believes every woman only gets one Soul Mate in her life, and refuses to even consider there might possibly be another man for her since hers died. This belief gets challenged when Regan, who's been married to Brock for about a year and is the mother of twin daughters, asked Addison to find Brock's all-business older brother Caine a wife - and when Addison flies out Manchester, Tennessee to beard her reluctant new client, their chemistry is obvious and immediate! But, thanks to the stories her Grandmother told her about One True Loves and Soul Mates and whatnot (Addison's Grandfather having died years earlier, and her Grandmother never seeming to even consider another man!), Addison would rather live her lonely life than admit she's falling for her pal's husband's stiff and rather forbidding older brother. Throwing herself into making Caine more "approachable", she buys him a dog, gives him a makeover, and arranges for a series of women she thinks would be a good match for him. Caine goes along because he's been attracted to Addison since Brock's and Regan's wedding, when she succumbs to him kissing her he knows she's just as attracted to him, and figures if he keeps her around long enough he'll find out why she keeps denying that she is the ideal match for him. When he finds out, he's appalled that she's put herself on the shelf for the rest of her life based on a notion he considers nuts - and when she finally cannot deny her own desire for him they enter into a relationship that quickly turns very serious for both of them. She even manages to get him to take some time off, and to start seeing life as more than his job.Unfortunately, Addison's issues about getting serious with another man get an unexpected boost from Caine's and Brock's Nasty Southern Rich Guy Father, who considers her a golddigger and totally unsuitable for his son! Following a truly awful "Meet the Parents" dinner, she flees back for New York City, sure Caine's father is some kind of Divine Punishment for her growing love for his son, which she considers a betrayal of her belief in One Soul Mate, End of Story. By then, though, both Caine and Regan have decided that Addison's perfect for him and they love each other, so in own ways they engineer a HEA for the two. I liked this book a lot better than Ms. Robert's SEDUCING THE BRIDESMAID, but it's still a long way from putting her on my "to-read" list. Still, if you like her work she writes a lot for Entangled's Brazen line, including D/s romances likeMISTAKEN BY FATE (part of the Serve series which Tessa Bailey, who wrote one of my favorite books in the Wedding Dare series,BAITING THE MAID OF HONOR, also writes for).

Overall, Meeting His Match by Katee Robert was a great, fast read and everything I look for in a category contemporary romance. The story was well paced and fun, the hero was HOT and alpha enough to set my panties aflame, and the heroine was smart, funny, and believable (with one notable exception, which I’ll get to in a moment).***Spoiler alert warning: I will try to avoid spilling too much of the storyline here, but a bit is unavoidable. You have been warned. :) ***The story involves a classic opposites attract trope with a bit of fish-out-of-water thrown in for fun. The writing is clean and smooth and there were really no rough areas that threw me out of the story or caused me to stop reading. At a concise 202 pages (according to my I-Books app), I finished this book in two days. I could have finished it in one, but I had to go out of town and was forced to stop three or four chapters in. This would be a great beach read or short weekend summer romp if you’re vacationing or camping or at the lake. The hero, Caine McNeill, is a southern charmer whose favorite endearment is “darlin’”. What’s not to love about that??? His character arc takes us from isolated, business-focused loner to a man willing to open his heart and his life to the right woman—our heroine, of course.Addison St. Claire is a streetwise, smart, savvy New York matchmaker who is conned into helping Caine find a mate by her best friend, Regan, who happens to be married to Caine’s younger brother. Through working with Caine, and a bit of compromise on both their parts, she is able to move forward from a painful past and create a deep, lasting relationship with the hero. The author did a good job of avoiding most of the clichéd weak-heroine traits that drive me insane in some contemporary romances of the past. I enjoy reading about people who are doing okay on their own, but are missing a special person to share their success with. Both Caine and Addison are not perfect. They each have baggage that must be overcome before they are ready to have a real relationship with anyone, including each other. Following their journey to wholeness is part of the fun.One minor issue I had involved the ‘soul mate’ subplot for the heroine. This felt a bit off, considering the intricacy with which the rest of the plot was constructed. The author spent a lot of time creating a fully-fleshed, intelligent, relatable heroine, then had her unwilling to move forward in a relationship with Caine solely because of a story her grandmother told her as a child about ‘one person-one soul mate’. Sorry, but it didn’t ring true for me. The whole aspect seemed a bit nonsensical given the heroine’s rational, modern approach to everything in her life. If nothing else, I’d think Addison would keep Caine around for the physical aspects of their relationship and the fact they related well on other levels too. The heroine’s tragic first marriage happened early in her life and they spent precious little time together. For me, it would’ve felt more authentic for her to realize that perhaps her idolized former husband wasn’t as perfect as she remembered and have her then understand how truly special her connection with the hero really is. Still, as I mentioned, this was only a minor interruption in my suspense of disbelief and didn’t stop me from finishing what was otherwise a great book.Meeting His Match was a fast, fun read. Sexy, smart, and stylish, I recommend it to anyone who enjoys a sassy story with a heaping side of Happily Ever After.

Meeting His Match by Katee Robert was so much fun to read! Addison and Caine are both such strong personalities, and watching them verbally spar with one another was fantastic. There were a lot of really funny scenes like this one:“What the hell is that monstrosity?”“Shh.” She put her hands over the dog’s ears. “Don’t call her that. You’ll hurt her feelings.”God forbid. “Fine. What is that massive dog that I don’t remember owning doing here?” He hoped like hell he had misheard her when she said pups, because one giant mop of a dog was more than enough to deal with right now.“She’s here to help.” When he just stared, she smiled harder. “We talked about this.”“No, we didn’t. I would remember agreeing to get a dog.”“You’re letting me work on your image. Gollum will improve it.”He eyed the animal. “Tolkien’s Gollum was male.”“Well, this Gollum is female.” She patted the dog’s head. “She’s quite nice once she gets used to you.”He doubted it. The animal looked more likely to take his hand off at the wrist than cuddle up with him. So much for dogs being man’s best friend. “That’s wonderful to hear, but I never agreed to any of this.”Addison sighed. “I won’t be able to successfully match you if you don’t work with me, Caine.”The fact that he hadn’t volunteered for this matchmaking business seemed lost on her. He stepped forward, but stopped when the dog growled again. “What does successfully matching me have to do with a damn dog?”“Gollum will make you more approachable. You need that—desperately.”“There’s not a damn thing approachable about that beast.”“Something you have in common.”What Caine and Addison don't realize right away, though, is that both of them are completely miserable in what currently passes for their lives. Caine's life has become nothing but an unending cycle of work and never being able to please his father, and Addison is no longer able to find the satisfaction she used to in matching up her clients. Whether they want to admit it or not, they're also both desperately lonely.Caine realizes way before Addison does that matching him with anyone but her is futile, which was a refreshing change. I loved his single-minded determination where she is considered, and his ultra-sexy way of saying darlin'. ;)Addison, however, has taken her one-true-soulmate-for-everyone belief and let it rule her life--an idea that's okay for a dedicated matchmaker, but not so okay when the matchmaker in question was widowed at twenty-one and therefore believes that's it for her.Katee Robert gave Addison a decent reason for holding on to her belief so tenaciously, even with Caine right there in front of her--though it did seem to go on just a smidge too long. That said, it was absolutely wonderful to have a widowed character find love again without having to turn the dead spouse into a villain, or at least a major "less than" by comparison. (That alone is worth three stars in my book, right off the bat. But that's just me and my minor pet peeves, I know.)I absolutely loved Meeting His Match, and can't wait to read more in the Match Me series as well as more from the Lovestruck imprint. If they're all going to be in the same vein, we're going to get along just fine. ;)Rating: 4 1/2 stars / AI received a complimentary copy in exchange for an honest review.

3.5/5Entangled Publishing releases some of the funnest books I've ever read and it's no wonder that I immediately wanted to read Meeting His Match upon glancing at that eye-popping cover and reading the attention-grabbing blurb. Meeting His Match, I found, was a short read mostly because I wanted to read on and on about these two characters and didn't want the story to end.Addison is a New York City matchmaker who has grown up strongly believing that there exists only one soul mate for every individual. Ever since her husband's passing away, she has strayed away from relationships although she doesn't mind building relationships through her matchmaking company. Addison was a sweet character. She was also feisty, driven and got things done. I enjoyed her as a character very much although there were times she could be a little frustrating with her beliefs that there was one and only soul mate for everyone out there. When her friend asks her to help find a girlfriend for her brother-in-law, things change though. Caine was a high-profile CEO of a company that his father built. When Addison barged into his office and his life, he remained stubborn and convinced that he had no time for dating. He was fascinated by Addison though and the chemistry the two of them shared. You watch as slowly throughout the book Addison soften his heart and make him believe that he doesn't have to live a lonely life where he only strives to live up to his father's expectations. Out of the two, I have to admit that Caine was my favorite character just because he was a little less frustrating than Addision. The dynamics between Addison and Caine was phenomenal! The two of them knew how to banter well and when they were not together in a scene, I was anticipating their conversations. It also helped that the two had sizzling chemistry together! I could feel the sparks between them. Addison and Caine were also respectful of each other as a couple, which I appreciated very much. It was also fun watching Addison bring all these things into the life of Caine which ultimately changed him as a character. I especially loved the dog and her four "mop" puppies, who become attached to Addison and grow very protective of her. The dogs were so damn adorable and the puppies were named after the Teenage Ninja Mutant Turtles. Every scene that they were in was an absolute riot! One other thing I really enjoyed about Meeting His Match was how the big "misunderstanding", which is found in pretty much every contemporary romance book, wasn't dragged out for too long, so even though I was annoyed by it, it didn't drive up the wall. I think fans of light contemporary romances should have no trouble enjoying Meeting His Match.Overall, Meeting His Match was an entertaining read for me. I pretty much enjoyed every minute of reading it. It wasn't a life-changing kind of book, but it made me laugh and swoon along with the characters, which makes up for a great book. I'm definitely excited about this new line, Lovestruck, by Entangled. If Meeting His Match is a sign of what's to come, it's going to be awesome!

The quality of romance books available and being released astounds and amuses me. Every time I pick up a new book I live in a state of hopeful anticipation that I will yet again be transported to a magical world of an alpha hero and a heroine capable of getting herself and the hero out of difficult situations and look amazing while doing it. True I am occasionally left wanting and disappointed but Ms. Katee Roberts has a true gift of words and her characters are some I’d love to take out to lunch or to their favorite BDSM club for a drink.Addison St. Claire is a skilled and highly sought after matchmaker in New York but she goes home to an empty home because of a belief that you get one shot at a soul mate and she had hers. Meanwhile Caine McNeill is managing a family business and never gets to step into his palatial home because of the hours he is working. Enter the best friend of Addison and now Caine’s sister-in-law Regan Wakefield throwing these two people together because she “know(s) a man in desperate need of a matchmaker, and you’re the best there is.”Yes this is a trope we have seen a thousand times but Dang if Ms. Roberts doesn’t just take everything and throw it on its head, dance and then giggle at all of us as we are perplexed, amused and finally giggling along with her as these two characters throw everything at each other in an attempt to not let the obvious chemistry blow up in a blaze of glorious love. Not to mention we have two competing cultures with New York and Tennessee and that is just the accents. You add how each of them views the world, their history and baggage and you have a romance that will keep you glued to your chair until you realize you are late back to work. Ooops! And if all of the above hasn’t got you clicking on one of the links above to buy this book right away then what about this fact. Caine is a Southern Gentleman. And I do love a Southern Gentleman. And I don’t know about you but whenever an author can include animals and make you laugh out loud at just the names and a few scenes they are in. Especially if they can steal the lime light for those scenes then you know you are in for one heck of a ride. And no I’m not going to tell you the names because they are just too adorable they are making me grin and laugh as I write this!Final Thoughts: If you haven’t read a book by Katee Roberts, you need to ASAP and this is a perfect one to pick up. The humor is heart warming. The romance and chemistry is panty-melting. The story can be nothing but a 5 star and the first Ms. Roberts book added to my Best of 2014 list. Well deserved. And I can’t wait for the next in this series.Entangled Publishing provided me with a copy of Meeting His Match but nothing else was exchanged for my honest review.

Review forthcoming on http://a-reader-lives-a-thousand-live...I received a copy of Meeting His Match in exchange for my review.Addison is a highly successful matchmaker, though her friend Regan thinks that she needs to take some time off, so much so that she insists that Addison goes to Tennessee and works her magic on her brother-in-law, Caine. What Addison doesn't expect is the instant attraction that she feels for Caine, or the conflicting emotions that that brings. Having been brought up believing that a person only gets one soul mate, Addison thinks she's had her turn with her deceased husband Aidan, and is willing to give up everything because of him. Caine works too hard, and that didn't bother him, until fiesty and determined Addison comes along. Despite her attempts to try and match him, there's only one woman that he wants and he won't stop until she admits she wants him too.I've read several books by Katee Robert now (and will admit to reading this one because it was by Katee Robert) and I've enjoyed every one of them so far! I really liked the fact that though they are in different series, two of the books have a link as well. I had to do a double take when I realised that Addison's best friend is Regan from Seducing the Bridesmaid, part of the Wedding Dare series, and that Brock is Caine's brother. You don't need to read the other book for this one to make sense, but I very much liked the link.I can't help but think that Meeting His Match touched on a big issue in life, that of the right of a widow/widower to move on with their life and meet new people. Personally I think they can and should try to meet someone new, though I can understand why other people feel differently. Meeting His Match doesn't deal with the grief of the situation so much, it has been 7 years so it isn't so much the forefront of Addison's mind anymore, but I thought that it did deal well with the issue of moving on. The idea of which really seemed to tear Addison out.The chemistry between the two characters was brilliantly written (and at some points they couldn't keep their hands off each other, but was actually managed without there being a whole load of sex scenes. In fact some of the most passionate and chemistry laden moments were just kisses, and there was even one scene where the tension was building and the two characters didn't even touch. This book made me laugh at points too, though it also had its emotional moments. Whatever it had though was good and I will definitely be on the look out for more by the author and from this series!

Initial Reaction: A super sweet heart warming story of getting a second chance at love. Thanks so much to Entangled Publishing for giving me a chance to read and review it!Full Review:Addison St. Clair is one of the best matchmakers in New York City. When her friend calls and asks for help regarding her brother-in-law, Addison is not prepared for the man she was set up to match. Caine McNeill is the CEO of a huge company and getting a woman is the last thing on his mind. So imagine how shocked he was when the sexy bridesmaid from his brother's wedding shows up at his office door, buys him a dog, settles into his house, and starts sending women his way. The only problem is, he's not interested in any women except her.Okay, *squeals with excitement*, this book was absolutely adorable. I've been reading a ton of Young Adult lately so it was nice to kick back and enjoy an Adult Contemporary. The characters in adult books are just so much different from those in young adult ones that it's fun to kind of switch it up from time to time.Addison is such a jewel. She's spunky and gorgeous and super dedicated to her job. Ever since losing her high school sweetheart and husband 6 years ago, she believes that he (Aiden) was her soul mate and the only one for her. With his death, she's basically alone for the rest of her life because she's been brought to believe that we only get one soul mate per lifetime. Her feelings toward Caine are totally unprofessional and should be ignored. She had her chance at happiness and now it's time for her to find his soul mate.Caine is a workaholic. He is in a steady and serious relationship with his job. When Addison blows into his life, he's not entirely sure what to expect. When they sort of met at Brock (his brother's) wedding, he was a bit intrigued by her but didn't do much to gain her attention. Now that she's living in his house, he finds it a bit hard to ignore her. When she starts setting his up with her other successful female clients, he realizes that his feelings might be more than just friendly. The problem is, she's pretty adamant that they can't be together because she already had her chance with her soul mate and it wasn't him. This book is absolutely adorable...I said that already...and full of fun scenes and lovable characters that make you laugh. There's a really beautiful message that everyone deserves a second chance at love. Definitely recommend and the great thing is that I'm 110% sure Meeting His Match is a book you can read over and over again and still love it! :) Read my reviews at:https://extreemeobsessed.blogspot.com

Review from: http://mischievousreads.blogspot.com/I've always wanted to read this novel ever since I saw the cover because the girl somehow looks like Nina Dobrev, one of my favorite celebrities and part of my top five celebrity girl crushes. (So now you know who I've imagined as the girl in this book.)Meeting His Match is a first of the Match Me series and it features Addison St. Claire, a young widower working as a matchmaker and a big believer of soul mates. Once you've met yours, there's no one else. But when she's asked to work on Caine McCall and help him find his match, or rather "soul mate", things start turning upside down.Addison believes that there can only be one soul mate forever. Her character somehow got to me because she's feisty and adorable and broken and miserable at the same time. Losing the love of your life and trying to move on, which is the reason behind her matchmaking business. It's quite overwhelming that such things also do happen in real life, losing someone important to you at a young age. Now Caine McCall, he's the usual workaholic billionaire. The Mr. 'My-Company-Needs-Me' rich guy who spends almost every single night on his office couch. And according to Addison and his sister in law, he needs a little push out of his miserable zone. With Caine, you'd just drool and dream about him because he's the kind of guy who only wants one girl and that's it. He wants Addison, but she's fighting it because "soul mates". But he's quite the romantic once he falls in love. Which is just the most adorable thing in a guy, without being all macho about it.The story plot is the usual contemporary romance, guy meets girl, guy wants girl, girl wants guy, girl's having second thoughts, girl wants guy in the end. It's the same thing, everybody falls in love. But with Katee Robert, she makes everything cute and funny. I love how the story's written with right amount of witty conversations to keep it fun yet sexy. This romance is just filled with sexual tension, you'd somehow get annoyed at Addison for even being able to fight it a bit. Like how can you fight all that sexiness?!?! HAH!Everything is just fun and flirty, and would definitely want to read it again. WARNING: Cute fluffy mop dog with four tiny mop puppies included. Plus, if you've read "Seducing The Bridesmaid" from the Wedding Dare series, you might squeal when reading this. Because I definitely did.

Let me take you back. Back to a time when I truly believed that all romance novels were too full of fluff and rainbows to be worth a read. A time when just staring at the cover of one of those novels would make me cringe. I don't miss that period of time. At all. Now that I've fallen in love with reading about love? I could never go back. Which is why Meeting His Match by Katee Robert promptly ended up in my reading list. A story featuring a stubborn CEO, complete with Southern drawl? Yes, please. I'll take ten.I'll start with Addison. While she wasn't my favorite character ever, she eventually grew on me. I loved her obvious passion for her job and her sweet demeanor that could turn to steel in an instant if the occasion called for it. Mostly, I loved the fact that Addison wasn't perfect. She was flawed, and that made her feel real to me. The one thing that irked me, and I'll be honest about it, was Addison's view on "soul mates". More than once I wanted to shake her silly. I may or may not have yelled "Would you just quit being so mopey and GET YOUR MAN ALREADY?" at the pages. Hey, it just proves I was invested. As for Caine? Oh, mother of all things bookish, he was an addictive character. There was nothing I didn't love about him! A bit grumpy, a bit set in his ways, but with that smoldering smile that makes you feel like you might honestly burst into flames. I adored his witty sarcasm, his unfailingly honesty, and the fact that all he really wanted in life was to be happy. Caine wasn't a character who took what he wanted by force. He wasn't that guy who plays an asshole, just to impress women. He was just himself, and that was just fine by me. He has my heart and, well, anything else he wants really. This is an extremely character driven story. There were a lot of sweet moments between these two, but also a fair amount of drama. It was very much a story about letting go of the past, and allowing yourself to be happy. Meeting His Match is the first book I've read in Entangled's new "Lovestruck" line, but I know it won't be my last! The characters were so richly detailed, there was the perfect mix of both Addison and Caine's POV, and these two had to fight for their happy ending. In my mind, these things equal out to a very entertaining story. So, yes. I'll be back for more.

Take a successful matchmaker add an overworked CEO, a dash of best friend/sister-in-law mischief, a measure of cute dogs, shake and what do you get? Katee Robert's newest hit and my new book boyfriend in Meeting His Match. This is the first in a new series and if it’s anything to go by, we are in for a treat with the subsequent books. I inhaled this book, I didn’t want to put it down. For me this means it’s a trademark Katee Robert book. I haven’t read one from this author that it hasn’t happened with.Caine is my new favourite book boyfriend. If this couple were real I would have to fight Addison for him. Every time he uttered the word darlin’, I melted. I loved watching him change over the course of the book and come to the realisation that work is not everything. And when he sets his eyes on Addison. She doesn’t stand a chance.“He was playing for keeps, and he had his eyes on her as the prize.”Addison is just a powerhouse. She steamrolls herself into Caine’s life and while teaching him that to have a real life he needs more than work she ends up falling for her client. Thought she fights it tooth and nail which is both funny and heartbreaking to see unfold. I can’t forget to mention the adorable dogs who have the best names I have ever read that Addison brings in to help with Caine’s image. His reaction to the dogs and their names…..priceless.“It didn’t matter what she felt physically though, Caine was destined for another woman. A good thing too, because he was obviously a handful.”Though Addison is there to set Caine up with his perfect match or soul mate, watching these two fight the chemistry that flares between them and fall hard for each other was a delight. There’s just something about two people who are meant to be together and fight it with all they have that sucks me in and makes me not want to put the book down.“Her orgasm hit her, sucking her under like a riptide and sending her hurtling into oblivion. “Caine”. “That’s right darlin’, I’ve got you. I always will.”If you are new to this author or like me a huge fan, you will not be disappointed by this book. Katee Robert has another hit on her hands with this book. What a great way to kick off a new series and new imprint in Lovestruck.

I always enjoy matchmaking books and usually enjoy them but Meeting His Match (A Match Me Novel) Katee Robert, although also a matchmaking book, had a very sweet and different quality. Robert’s writing is engaging and the story picks up from page one. She grabbed my attention from the very beginning. Although not portent to the story, I loved the cover and the name of the characters. I thought that both complimented the story.Addison St. Claire owns a matchmaking company in New York City. She is successful but she feels something missing. When her friend good friend asks her to help with her brother-in-law Caine McNeill who lives in Tennessee, although she is hesitant, she thinks that a quick get- away will get her the break that she needs. Lately, she has been worn out and unfulfilled.Caine McNeill runs a very successful business in Tennessee. He is a classic workaholic. Although he is very successful he never really wanted to run the family business, especially since he never receives his father’s approval. Caine spends more time in his office then he does at home. He wants to meet a nice woman and get married but work takes up most of his time. When Addison barges into his office he knows that his life is about to change. He is instantly attracted to Addison and she him but Addison has very high walls around her. Once Caine realizes that the woman he wants is right in front of him he does not want to waste any time with the potential dates that Addison has planned. I loved Caine and Addison. Caine was a handsome, successful and force to be reckon with! He was determined to win Addison over and even though she kept pushing him away he realized that she was worth fighting for. I really liked Addison too, I thought she was a great heroine. She did not let Caine intimidate her and she knew how to stand her ground. My one little hang-up was her hang-up. Without giving too much away, the reason that she didn’t want a relationship with Caine seemed like a weak excuse. I read this book in one sitting. I couldn’t wait to see how Caine and Addison found their happily ever after. I really enjoyed and highly recommend this book!
