Cora Reilly I love you, and adore your Born in Blood Mafia Chronicles series, but this book...The main female character annoyed me to death with her childish behavior and naïve thinking. After seeing Adrian banging a different woman every night (spying his bedroom window) for a few weeks and after hearing what a manwhore he is I had no problem with the fact that she went on a date with him or even with the fact that she wanted to sleep with him on their first date...What made me really want to pull out my hair where statements like...I wanted this date to be perfect. I wanted to be perfect. Maybe then Adrian would see that one person could be enough, that one woman was enough. ...or right before sex...I knew I should ask Adrian if this meant more to him than just sex. She was so annoying that it's a miracle I finished the book and the only thing that helped with that was the great writing style :DThank God it was over pretty quickly...

2.75 starsNora Clark's life is downright depressing! She's an aspiring writer, but her waitressing job at a trashy bar pays the bills. One evening, a captivating scene next door holds her interest long enough for her to whip out her binoculars and pleasure herself to what she sees in the building next door. From that day on, it's a struggle for Nora not to spy on her neighbor and his rotating bed mates. It's not long before she's dreaming about being one of those women in his bed, and what's worse is that her pet pug also joins in on the voyeuristic action. This story was ridiculous, tragic, and smutty! Essentially, it's a classic case of manwhore meets inexperienced woman and she can't help but crave him, but he can't be tamed. The writing style was very simple but mildly humorous, and while the premise of this book drew me in, the delivery of the story was only faintly satisfying. The male lead proudly demonstrated that he was incapable of being in a monogamous relationship throughout the ENTIRE story, and the female lead was drenched with desperation for him, in spite of how many times he proved how untrustworthy he was. The ending was a let-down for me and pissed me off a bit, especially considering all of the emotional turmoil the heroine endured. (view spoiler)[There is no HEA and the ending was left open-ended. (hide spoiler)] Overall, the most outstanding character in this book was Bruno the dog!

********** 3.5 STARS **********Cora Reilly isn't that well known of an author compared to many romance authors I know, but I do believe that she has what it takes to be there one day. I seldom read romance novels anymore because the more I read, the more I realize how recycled a lot of these romance stories are. I used to LIVE for romance novels but now I can't even pick one up and finish it because right off the bat, I can already tell how the story is going to go. But Cora's storylines always seem to hook me in right from the start, and before I know it, I'm already a few pages away from being done. Her writing could still use some improvement, but I actually found that this book contained less errors than her Born in Blood books. I'm only pointing this out because her books do have quite a few grammatical errors.Despite my 3-star rating, I actually enjoyed Voyeur Extraordinaire. It reminded me somewhat of Wallbanger by Alice Clayton but better. I actually DNFed Wallbanger because it dragged on for way too long and the characters began to irritate me. But Voyeur Extraordinaire kept me fairly interested. I thought it was a pretty light and funny read. I did find myself laughing a few times and even had a few cases of second-hand embarrassment but it was still fun.Our main character, Nora, was just alright. I didn't find anything too special about her and I wasn't as attached to her character as I was to Aria Scuderi from Cora Reilly's Bound By Honor. I thought Nora was immature. She's 21 years old and still has this unrealistic view of a perfect happily ever after type of love that we woman typically grow out of much earlier than she apparently has. She's also one of those annoying girls who believe that they can change the bad boy's womanizing ways. AND she dives into this no-strings-attached relationship knowing that she will get hurt, but since she's "one of those girls" like I just said, she's going to go right on ahead anyways because she thinks he'll change for her. In reality, this is stupid and rarely ever happens. In romance books, IT ALWAYS HAPPENS. We can see this in about a million other books.Alpha male, Adrian Black, was pretty swoonworthy... Until he opened his mouth. I can safely say that I understood why Nora was so obsessed with him. He was sexy, confident, and charming. And the whole scene when Nora and Adrian were communicating through handwritten notes through their windows was really cute. I was swooning pretty hard. But like most alpha males we know, Adrian is an ass. Hot and charming, but still an ass nonetheless. There better be a legit reason why he's being an ass and not just because he was teased and bullied for being fat in high school and now has it in his mind to use woman for his own sexual pleasure and treat them like shit.Okay, I know I had good handful of complaints, but I promise I actually really enjoyed reading this book. The characters weren't all that great and the storyline wasn't original but it was still a fun read. It's almost like a guilty pleasure I have to dislike these romance stories, but can't help but read them anyways. With that being said, I'll probably read the second book too. We know how these type of stories end but like I said, guilty pleasure. :P

Actual Rating 1.5 StarsI wanted to give this book a 1 Star rating, it was an infuriating read. Damn it, talk about an annoying, delusional, self indulgent protagonist. Nora has some serious issues, I'm not saying what Adrian did was right but girl what do you expect from him? He's only known you by the fact that he knows that you like watching him have sex and that you know he's with a different and experienced women every night and you expect that after your first date (and not a stellar one at that) that he'll change his womanizing ways for you? "I want his attention, I want his adoration, I want his respect...I want his love" Like really!? You expect that from a guy you went out once? A guy who hardly knows you but as a peeping tom? And Adrian was no better, "Oh, I'm banging another woman after what happened to us last night because I can't get you out of my head and after banging the said woman like 10 minutes ago and after you saw her in my robe with me with a boner I want to bang you now". And the girl freaking agreed. Gah!This book made my head hurt, the only redeeming quality for me and the only reason I soldiered on with this was the pug. Yes the PUG. We have a pug at home and I love her so I made the sacrifice of some of my brain cells dying in honor of my pug.

Come check out the reviews on my blog Under The Cover3.5 stars**ARC courtesy of author in exchange for an honest review**I was in a good mood when I started this book. I had read another one in the same theme by one of my favorite authors, and so I was looking forward to read something along the same lines. And, to be honest, the beginning was what I expected. A curious heroine who stumble upon her neighbor having sex, ends up sort of obsessed about watching him and develops a crush on said neighbor. And I liked it like that right to the moment our heroine gets caught, because let’s face it, that’s precisely what we want to happen. But then we do meet the neighbor, Adrian Black, and from there, things started to go in a direction that I didn’t really like, and those are the two things that bothered me in the book:See, Nora, our heroine, is a virgin and sort of has a bad record with guys. So when she first starts observing Adrian, she experiences some sort of sexual awakening and really, this is all well and good, but Nora turned out to be a little bit naïve and instead of coming to terms with what her sexy neighbor is: a man slut who takes to bed a different woman every night, she started wishing he would turn out to be someone else, someone who would offer her more than a simple one night stand. So from the moment they meet I sort of had a bad feeling about where this was going. And I was right to be worried because, even though she knew Adrian acted with her just like he did with all the other women he’s slept with, Nora pretended and wished that maybe, this time would be different…..and then got slapped in the face when it wasn’t. I won’t say what happens, but at this point, both characters irritated me for different reasons. Nora, because I wanted her to open her freaking eyes and not act like a naïve little girl because it was bound to make her suffer in the end, and Adrian because, well he could have been a little bit more considerate with Nora. The other thing that bothered me was the whole sub plot to the book. Not that it was a bad idea, far from that, but I think it could have been better woven through the book, instead of piecing all the pieces in one chapter only. Those are the remarks I have about the book. What I really liked, was the whole voyeurism thing going on on Nora’s end. I loved the moment she got caught too. I had a big ole smile on my face and I loved how Adrian reacted. And let me tell you, the last chapter was HOT! Holy steam I wanted to be in Nora’s shoes and be “convinced” by Adrian too. I also like Nora’s best friend Amy and her boyfriend, Jared. Just like Nora does, I kind of envied their situation and their love for each other. And you get why a girl like Nora would want the same thing for herself. So all in all, I liked this book. It’s a quick and easy read, and you want to know what happens next, even though the plot and how it enfolds feels a little bit awkward. It’s nothing major because it doesn’t keep you from reading though. The ending sort of surprised me because I wasn’t expecting the book to end like this and so soon, but it made me curious about how things are going to turn out for Nora and Adrian. I had fun being a voyeur through Nora's eyes. She is struggling to make ends meet as a waitress while living in a tiny one-bedroom apartment. The best thing going for her is her best friend Amy and her husband Jared then one night she spies a man having sex in the next apartment building. Nora starts to plan her evenings around watching her sexy neighbor and his nightly conquests then one night he catches her watching. Then she bumps into him in front of their apartment buildings as Adrian begins to pursue Nora. I enjoyed the sparks between Nora and Adrian however Nora wants to believe she can change his "man-whore" ways which well, I'll let you read to find out what happens. There were a few surprises I didn't expect that added another layer to Nora and Adrian's connection. Will Adrian be willing to change his ways for Nora? Can Nora find the strength to be what Adrian needs? I must admit that I wanted to be Nora peering through the window and watching the man in the other building having amazing sexual encounters. It felt naughty and fun at the same time.

4 StarsThe story begins... Nora, a girl with a dream on the way, facing many difficulties stumbles upon her new neighbor having sex. She can't help but watch and after a brief denial she does it almost every day as a form of entertainment in her otherwise boring life full of rejection and drunken, disgusting men. I liked this book very much except from Nora, our heroine, at times. Because of her sheltered life and naivety she thinks that a womanizer and someone that clearly doesn't want to change his unemotional relations with women is someone that she can change, half of the book is spent on the thought that maybe she can change him. In spite that fact I really enjoyed it. Will I read the next book?Yes. Can't wait for it actually.

*ARC kindly given by the author in exchange for an honest review. This one has been on my watch list for a while, so was thrilled to see its imminent release and pleasantly surprised to be given an ARC! Premise: young 21 YO Nora recently new to NYC is working as a waitress as she tries to get published as an author. In what becomes somewhat of a nightly ritual, she begins covertly watching a man in an adjacent apartment building have sex with a different woman each night and soon becomes addicted to living vicariously through his escapades. When the two come to meet, drama ensues as does connections to their similar pasts. There were a couple of sticking points for me which took away from my enjoyment of this book. The characters - they were hard to like. The heroine is young, naïve, virgin, and bit juvenile in her affections. She claims to love the man (Adrian) she sees having sex, without any other interactions or circumstances contributing to that affection (how can one "love" a man who goes through women like that? Esp. to an inexperienced woman with romantic notions?) The hero doesn't have redeeming qualities, he is a player, his actions soundly enforce that, and while disclosure about his childhood lends him a certain vulnerability, it's not enough to redeem him yet in this first book. And how they come to a promise, the night following Nora witnessing him hook-up with another woman (smell of her was still on him) was bit nauseating. The beginning too was slow and I wish there was more intrigue built around the unique voyeur bit. Too many details are given to inconsequential things (her dog, her job, her apartment). Lastly, there are some editing issues. But what drove me crazy were the references to "her mount" as in "she touched her mount" which was very odd phrasing to me. There is potential for this series improving, hopefully more character development, more likeability to the characters, more backbone to the heroine, and more flaws to the hero. I think the writing got better as the book went on, esp. the ending of this first book left enough of a teaser to entice to a book 2.

Amazing book! This is not a book about voyeurism... it is a book, with a fabulous plot line, about discovering your sexuality while struggling to make sense out of life.Nora is our main character. She is 21 years old, living alone in New York City, working as a waitress at a dumpy bar, while she pursues a career as a writer. Oh, and she is a virgin. She has kissed three guys in her entire life, allowed one of them a little 2 second groping on prom night, and that is it for experience. Looking out her dumpy apartment window, she is stunned to find a clear view into a fancy condominium across the courtyard, where two people are having sex. Forgetting the saying about curiosity and the cat, she searches for her binoculars and proceeds to view her gorgeous unknown neighbor go through a-woman-a-night sexcapade with never the same woman twice. Obviously she is intrigued... be honest, wouldn't you be? The rest of the story gets even better when the unknown neighbor realizes she is watching through her binoculars and proceeds to both perform for her viewing pleasure as well as attempt to introduce himself to her. This novel is about losing your inhibitions, recognizing your sexuality, dealing with the past, and finding out who you are. Coming of age story, sure! But most of all, it is a story of survival and coming to maturity from a point of complete innocence. This is book one. I hope our author will be prevailed upon to release book 2 soon. I cannot wait to read what happens next.

I went into this one kinda blind, not remembering the blurb when I snagged it on Amazon. I was pleasantly surprised by this one! I really liked the heroine, even if she did act a little slow in the relationship department. We don't know exactly whys she's so closed off. She got pawned off on a guy back in high school after the guy she likes hooks up with her bestie instead of her. She makes out with 2nd choice and gets badly groped and then isn't interested in men for the next 3-4 years? Huh. Even though I had a little trouble with that, I loved the rest! I love how she discovers the neighbor across the way and how she watches him, it's obviously hot. Then when he watches her watching him? Yes, please! From there on the story was a win for me! I won't throw out any spoilers, but there's a major bump in the road that makes it even better. I will say that I didn't realize it was a book one and I wasn't expecting a cliffhanger at all! I was completely engrossed and boom, done. I was disappointed to see that the second part doesn't have a release date, just says publishing in 2015. Here's hoping it's early 2015, which still seems too far away. When books are shorter and have cliffhangers aka serials, I like them to be a little closer together. But I thought it was great and will definitely be getting the second one when it comes out.

Nora is a young, broke, aspiring author living in New York with minimal friends and social life. She finds herself spying on man-whore Adrian Black having sex. They meet and...well now you have to read the book.I will say that this book starts out and you sort of feel like it is going to be more full on erotica but that kind of fizzles out and you get more sexual tension. The story is good the heroine does make you have moments of wanting to slap some sense into her but I still thoroughly enjoyed it. It is a quick read but fair warning it is a cliffhanger. That being said the only real negative I found with this book is that it could use I little more editing, the editing wasn't such a big deal where you didn't know what the author's pointwas but they were the blatant errors that should have been caught easily.I am definitely looking forward to part two.

Well, kamu berdelusi kalau berpikir seperti itu. Cerita itu memang cuma ada di fiksi, tapi fiksinya gak harus seperti itu juga. Setidaknya aku masih suka humor di novel ini. Dan aku rasa aku juga akan membaca buku keduanya. I hope the second book would be better.

Genre: Romance Author: Cora ReillyBook: Voyeur Extraordinaire My Star Rating: 3.5 out 5Will I read I read it again? YesI was given this book to read and give an honest review. This review is my honest opinion and I have fully read this book. Have you ever looked out your window and saw your neighbor getting down and dirty? Did you watch? Well see Nora works in a bar and when she comes home she happens to look out her crappy apartment window and see her hot neighbor who is getting it on with the drapes open. Of course what is she to do? Watch DUH!Well it seems that the hot neighbor Adrian likes many different women and happens to leave the drapes open. Then one time he catches Nora watching. This book was a very fast read. It had it all for a short book and I found funny as all get out.

I LOVED THIS BOOK! I have to say it was full of emotion, humor, and pure honesty. I understand what the heroine was going through when she became obsessed with Adrian. She let her fantasy of thinking that he might change for her get to her. I thought it was emotional and real. Also, I got to read about the first date in an actual book (How sweet is that)! Overall, this book was adorable and realistic!

It has everything one wants to read in a book. The gorgeous guy, the shy virgin, lots of hot scenes and conflict that will make you say...ouch. And all the time I was reading, there was only one person I pictured as Adrian...the scrumptious and smoking Jamie Dornan!!! Omg my heart just can't take all the hotness!! I can't wait to read the next book...so excited!!!!

Beware this is only part one.Nora's life is boring, she's a waitress in a shabby bar and lives in a tacky one-room apartment she's been in New York for three years now and instead of getting inspiration for her writing she's stuck working nine hour shifts getting her butt slapped so when a hot new guy moves into the apartment opposite her and her first glimpse of him is him having sex with a hot redhead then she's intrigued, ok she's more than intrigued she's turned on. Then it happens again the next night and the night after that but every night it's a different woman, it's like having her own live porn channel and Nora desperately wants to be one of the women but it would be different with her, she just knows it would. The man in question is Adrian Black and he's not exactly the complete stranger Nora thinks he is.I both liked and disliked this book, the reviews were mixed and I wasn't sure exactly what to expect but I was intrigued since some people really hated it while others loved it, I come out somewhere in the middle. I can understand Nora to a certain degree, she's led a fairly sheltered life and she's naive and so yes she dreams about her and Adrian but on the other hand she should be able to see what's right in front of her and Adrian, yes he's a player there's no doubt about that but is there any hope he could change. At times Nora annoyed the hell out of me but a lot of it I could understand, there were times when I didn't really like this book at all and I agreed with the negative reviews but ultimately if I'm being totally honest I enjoyed it but I wasn't happy with the ending, at no point does it mention anywhere that it's part one and this is what really annoys me.

3 Stars. The protagonist in this book really, REALLY pissed me off. I feel as though she walked herself into a situation anyone could have seen coming from a mile away. (possible spoilers)The book started off good and i could understand Nora and the way she thought. I could see why she would be curious in her neibour having sex and watching, i could also see why her crush develops. What i struggle with is the way she goes from level 1 crushing to level 8 falling for him within one converstaion. The book plot to me got worse towards the end of the book when the authors writing style started to get good which is typical.I feel as though even though Nora is a virgin no-one is stupid enough to think their man-whore neighbor will fall in love with them basically at first sight after doing a different women every night. What do you expect to happen? I mean really. This series has potential, as long as Nora starts acting less like a disney princess and more like a real human being who works night shifts at a sleezy bar.

***I RECEIVED THIS BOOK THROUGH GOODREADS FIRST READS GIVEAWAY***I enjoyed the book. It was hot and interesting enough to hold my focus from the beginning. I also thought it was quite funny and loved how Nora's dog, Bruno, seemed to have a mind of his own and was constantly mentioned in the book like a whole other significant character. I also loved the relationship between Nora and her friend Amy (and her boyfriend Jared). I liked how she has someone to fall back on when she needs help and Amy seems like someone whom I wouldn't mind having as a friend. What is going on between Adrian and Nora is a whole other story that I thought was very interesting, though I have to say I am disappointed that this book is kind of a cliffhanger or part 1 of a story. I didn't know that going in to it, so now I'm left hanging, especially when the crux of their "relationship" will be blossoming/changing in the next volume where we hopefully get to see Nora grow and Adrian open up more.

So this was a good book. A 3.5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️book. The story of Nora and Adrian. The story starts out with Nita being a voyeur, but the book isn't really about that at all. The characters definitely grew on me as did the story. The writing was just a bit off for me. There were a few expressions and mistakes that made me shake my head. On numerous occasions and that impedes the flow. That aside, there were also one or two unexpected twists and turns that I liked. I didn't realize that the second in the series was not published yet. Usually I won't read them until they are all published as I hate to wait and have too many other options in my reader to bother. Hopefully it will come out soon as I do want to read the rest of their story.

Gaaah, I just expected more from the story, okay?Half of the book was about how she kept on watching Adrian Black having sex then the rest was about how angry she got after they had sex because he(view spoiler)[didn't do virgins (hide spoiler)]. Not that the former was hot, I felt like I was doing second degree voyeurism. But seriously, I needed more sex from the characters as a couple.I was super annoyed with Adrian. I'm just hoping that Nora will develop a more firmer backbone when it comes to resisting Adrian's charms. I want her to give him shit on the next book or something. Looking forward to reading the next book! :)

Voyeur ini artinya pengintip kali yah. Hidup di New York selama 3thn setelah lulus SMA utk mengejar impian sbg penulis ttp selalu ditolak karyanya akhirnya menjadi waiter bar ece2 utk menopang hidup, tinggal di apartemen kecil. Gara2 ketahuan mengintip aktifitas seksual tetangga sebelah apartemen yg doyan gonta ganti cewek, bikin Nora makin stress. Si tetangga yg diintip itu bernama Adrian malah ngajak kencan Nora yg berakhir bencana krn Nora masih virgin. Adrian itu tipikal cowok playboy yg maunya fuck buddy, Nora sih ga mau tp spt biasa lemah iman. Udah bgtu doang akhir ceritanya, gantung bgt kan?

A little confusedI've really enjoyed the Bound series by this author. This book was really different. The setting is in New York city, but the characters talk if they are British. It was really odd. Nora wasn't that exciting of a character until 70% into the book. That's when it got really interesting with her and Adrian. Up until that point, the book was basically about a women working as a waitress trying to become a published author. Nothing too exciting there. Then, the book ends abruptly. There was no epilogue nor was there an indication that there would be a continuation of Nora and Adrian's story. That was really a huge disappointment.

I really do see potential in this book. It's just that the boring parts seem to lag for it to have the 2nd book which I'm excited for. Adrian, yes, he's an asshole. It's the first time I really got pissed at a guy because he finds sex as a means of healing. But I don't really blame him. Nora's there to save the day.But I find her character quite annoying too because she acts childish and I feel like she's a 12 year old.And that is what I'm most excited about. (view spoiler)[The last sentence of the first book. That Nora would accept the challenge of trying to convince Adrian that there is forever and we'd see that in the 2nd book. (hide spoiler)] :)

3.5 Essentially, this was a research book for me. I've been working on a similar plot for quite some time and went looking to see what else was out there. This is one of the few books I found with a female voyeur. But the book isn't really about voyeurism, it's more an exploration of the MC's sexuality. Well written, but I had a hard time relating to the MC and that discouraged me at times. However, it's definitely something I would recommend for any of my own readers looking for a change.

I started this book on a whim and it was what I expected: a good little distraction for a Sunday afternoon.Like all erotic fiction I've read so far, the characters weren't as flashed out as they could have been, also the plot was utterly predictable. But I enjoyed it for what it was. Also, I liked the fact that the main character Nora wasn't totally adverse to self-pleasure, even if she was a virgin and even though of course it all boils down to finding the One in the end.
