I don't have feelings, and I don't do love.At least I didn't, until the night Ella walked into my office looking like a disgusting junkie to interview for a position for The Onyx Club. She was like no one I'd ever met before. She was timid, reserved, and quite plain with her mousy brown hair and dirty clothes. Ella also had a dark and haunted gleam in her eye. A secret, a past she was desperate to conceal. And when she called me ‘Matt’ it didn't seem to bother me.She came into my life and turned it upside down. The only question is, can I screw her out of my system, or will my filthy desire for her keep her by my side?...

I really wanted to read this book as it's written by a male author. I think it is an amazing debut release. The author has shown emphasis on the female heroine, her wounds and her Master's efforts to make her feel beautiful in and out, confident and strong and learn how to trust both him and others. Through his book, the author has really honored the female body and soul. He has worshipped and adored the female spirit and feminine qualities. 4 stars from me bc I just needed more intense drama and stronger emotions.

A fantastic debut novel from Sebastian Ex!I was captivated from the very first page! The storyline, character development, and intense sexual connection between Matthew and Ella had me hook, line and sinker, unable to stop until I reached the final page. That, in and of itself, makes this debut novel a one-click must. Now, let’s talk about Matthew…Swoon worthy? Hell yes! I loved Matthew right from the get-go. True, he’s arrogant, domineering, demanding, but hey, it makes up all the most swoon-worthy parts of him. He certainly doesn’t shy away from who he is, which I loved. Getting to enjoy the ride, baring witness to his emotional development and growth was simply, perfection. And the sex? There are simply no words. I was lost within the steamy pages. So, take it from me – Filthy Desire is sooo worthy of a read. Well done, Sebastian. Looking forward to your future works.Christa x

What a fresh, sexy, and addictive read! I give Filthy Desire 4.5 deliciously filthy stars. I didn't expect to like this book so much but Sebastian Ex had me hooked before I finished the first page. He spins the story from Matthew's point of view, a very sexual and wealthy 38 year old dominant playboy who has no issue sharing his women. He's a bit of a douche but I think that'swhyI liked him so much. He was cocky, domineering, and larger than life but also protective, passionate, and sweet. Matthew has two rules: don't call him anything other than Matthew and don't ask for his number. He holds tight to those rules until Ella literally stumbles into his life. Ella lands in Matthew's office looking for a job. She's timid, overly thin, and not Matthew's type at all or so he thinks until she sasses him. Ella refuses to call him Matthew and instead calls him Matt. They end up in a rather interesting situation to which Matthew gives Ella a job. After another little push, Matthew takes Ella to live with him in his penthouse. He can't help his attraction or need to protect her. Throughout the story there's more than just filthy, raunchy, and hot sex. There's the unveiling of Ella's past which brings in elements of emotion, tugs at your heart and makes you gasp in shock. There's wit and humor, Matthew definitely made me laugh more than not with his thoughts. There's also well placed BDSM scenes and elements without them overtaking the novel. All in all, Sebastian Ex did a pretty flawless job with this book. I can't wait to read more from him. It was really refreshing to see it just through the hero's eyes.

FANTASTICI'll start by saying I kept hearing about a great new author by the name of Sebastian Ex and his book, Filthy Desire and being told it was a must read. After reading it, I will say I was very surprised this was an author's first book. It's Fantastically written, has an Awesome storyline and is Just Plain Great. Once I started reading it and couldn't put it down and I couldn't agree more, it's 100% a MUST READ!Matthew & Brandon (best friends since High School) own "The Onyx Club" a high class Burlesque club in a rough part of town. Ella walks in, looking like something the cat drug in, needing a job. Matthew knows she not dancer material yet he just can't seem to turn her away. Matthew senses she is in some type of trouble and the "Dom" in him just wants to protect and help her and of course, get her in his bed!The book is very Erotic and Sexually Explicit (Matthew and Brandon are both into the BDSM lifestyle), but Filthy Desire is so well written that the reader feels all of the characters emotions and not just the sexual exploits. The joy, the pain, the fear and the love - it's all there. The reader will be drawn in from the start and taken on a wild and yet tender journey as Ella and Matthew's story is told. I give this book a very hearty 2 THUMBS UP!

Wow. I so wasn't expecting to love this so much!!! It had everything I love in a book.It was entertaining, passionate and extremely heart-warming.Matt is the owner of a club, a club that he shares with his partner. He loves women and he is not shy to show it. When a frail looking girl stumbles into his business looking for work, he sees something in her. Something that doesn't allow him to stay away from her. Ella is lost, homeless and looking for a job. She is also running from her past. What she doesn't expect is for Matt to actually offer her the job she so desperately needs. What she doesn't expect even more is to be taken under his wing.Feelings blossom between them, but can Matt fix Ella before she is broken all over again? Read to find out! What I loved most about this book, is that it was written by a man. You do not see that often. I loved the writing style and the pace was more than satisfactory. The development was perfect and the characters lovable. I had a blast reading this debut novel! I totally recommend it.4 Stars from me!

Well let’s start with the obvious lol. This book purports to be written by a male author. I am always sceptical if male written books are actually written by a bloke or if it’s a marketing strategy cos readers do seem to fawn a bit over a male author. Personally I couldn’t give a toss who writes a book as long as the words on a page can make me feel something. I want to lose myself in a book, I want to love or hate the characters, I want to root for the underdog and rile on the bully. I want to feel happy, sad, emotional, angry, proud…anything..something…Well this book did exactly that.Matthew Weston, don’t call me Matt, was a great character. He was your typical grade A arsehole. I find it amusing that a man who likes to fuck a variety of women, his way, his rules, is considered an arsehole. But that’s the general way it seems we describe them in these kind of books. Arrogant, self-assured, cocky, manwhore….Matt fitted the stereotypical alpha male in this book.Ella was the proverbial shrinking violet. Troubled, virginal, lairy, feisty. Matthew called her “ugly”; she didn’t fit in with his club image but he gave her a chance because she had “something”. Something that made his cock hard and a desire to be balls deep in her, burning into his core. She came with secrets and an obviously horrendous past that Matt wanted to know about. He felt protective towards her from the moment he saw where and how she was living. The moment he made her strip, made my heart beat fast and I had to keep swallowing bile when she explained what had happened to her. My heart broke as much as Matt’s did. Treated worse than a fucking dog, scarred not just on the skin but inside her soul.I felt it was at that point that Matt changed. Yes he was still alpha arsehole but you could actually feel the emotions pour off the page and see his heart beginning to thaw. This is a highly emotive book. The sexy times were pretty hot. There was a tension building up throughout the story. Not just the sexual tension but also a worry for Ella. Was Matt going to fuck her up emotionally more than she was already or was he actually going to be her salvation? Was her past going to come back and haunt her future?Congratulations to the author on writing a very good book. Actually, it was better than good, it was excellent. One thing though….the cover….it’s fucking horrible!! The pink dots are so 1970’s disco and I think this book certainly deserves better than this cover. Apart from that, I cannot fault the execution of the story, the presentation of the story, the vernacular used, or the editing. And it gets extra kudos for being a standalone in this day and age when serials and trilogies seem all the rage!

4.5 stars for Filthy Desire.I had no real clue what to expect from Sebastian as this is his Debut novel and I kinda like that. No expectations and pre-conceived notions, to be truthful there was some apprehension, there usually always is with new authors but I have to say, this was a good first book indeed. Now there were some areas in this book that had me muttering - ‘oh don’t you dare’ to Matthew and the first few scenes when he was being ridiculously scathing towards Ella – oooh I could have happily stomach punched him a few times for what he said. And I loved that! I loved that I really had a hard time with him and how he treated her. God my heart went out to Ella and her predicament, it was horrifying how she was living and what she had been through.I was happily going to five star this book until I read one line at around the 75% marker (not quite sure exactly) when Matthew mentions introducing an implement maybe later in their relationship I was absolutely disgusted that he would think it ok to use that on her. I am certainly glad that in our time scale it wasn’t used but jeez I think my kindle would have suffered bodily damage if Sebastian had written that in. I didn’t always agree with how Matthew was bringing Ella out of her mind-set of her past but I agree in the way it was written it was working and I am absolutely fine with 'not' readily agreeing to this submissive malarkey and how his assertiveness was helping on her. But on another level I could see that it was indeed helping. So that was a bit of a rollercoaster for me and I really enjoyed that my mind was going all over the place. For a debut novel this is written extremely well, very visual and very emotional too. If the reader like me can get behind the trauma of Ella then they will thoroughly enjoy the mix of content this book delivers. I will definitely be looking out for more from this author.I received a copy of Filthy Desire in return for an honest review. My reviews are my own and are 100% honest.

Reviewing on behalf of relentless book chics ramblings and reviewsI loved this story! Matthew Weston and Brandon(his story will be told in the second book of the series) own the Onyx club. They’ve been friends for a long time and in the past, have shared more than just a friendship, they’ve also shared women.Matthew likes to be called Matthew, not Matty, or Matt, just Matthew. He’s 38, arrogant, dominant and the ladies love him. He does have one rule, not to sleep with his staff. To him, woman are just a means to an end, there for him to use for sex whenever he wants. One day, his whole life changes when a woman called Ella applies for a job at the club.Ella is 22 and just ordinary looking, plain. When Matthew first sees her, she looks like a homeless junkie and even though he usually doesn’t care, he can’t shake off the feelings he gets when he’s around her. She is running from a very dark past and needs the job more than most people do.As Ella settles into her job, the relationship between employer and employee changes and we see a softer side of Matthew come out. Ella is the only person he doesn’t mind calling him Matt which is one of the many things he doesn’t understand about his feelings towards her.As the story develops, we see a change in Matthew as he has someone he wants to care about and also, a change in Ella as she learns to trust someone completely with her life. If anyone has a reason never to trust anyone ever again, it’s Ella.I loved the end of the story too and as a debut novel, it’s excellent. I’m looking forward to reading more from this author.

I really enjoyed reading this book. Like another poster, I agree that this books leaves you very satisfied. It's what I wish all stand alone books were! Matthew is an arrogant asshole, one that knows exactly what he wants and does whatever it takes to get it. He has it all. His own business, money, women, and respect! But with everything he is you can't help but love him from the minute Ella walks into his office! She comes in looking like a mess and she wont call him anything but Matt! Ella walks into his office and you immediately like her! You like how she stands up to Matt, but at the same time she is afraid. I felt like I was really able to connect with her throughout the book of Matthew building her back up. Piecing her back together and ultimately falling in love with her. This was a fantastic debut novel. I enjoyed Sebastian's writing and I'm really looking forward to future novels by this author!

Wow, what a hot and intriguing read.. I love this story of Matthew and Ella! The storyline was captivating and suspenseful. I wasn't sure how it was going to turn out! But I certainly enjoyed the ride.. A wonderfully written story that had me guessing as to what was coming with each chapter... The wonderful writing and detailed storyline filled with both fun and emotional elements and realistic characters that made it very hard to put down.. I would recommend this to all fans of erotica but with a warning that it is not for young readers or reader of soft erotica and contains darker elements.. Look forward to reading more from this author.. Well done on a debut novel.. Sebastian you have a new fan...*I received this Arc in exchange for an honest review*

The first novel from Sebastian Ex .And hopefully not the Last . This story revolves around several characters but the two main protagonists are Matthew Weston, not Matt,Matty but Matthew ! And Ella .Matthew is a 38 year old dominant alpha male who jointly co-owns an upmarket club in a not so upmarket area with his best friend Brandon. He can be arrogant ,domineering and downright pushy, but the ladies love him, and he loves the ladies .Brandon and Matthew have known each for a very long time and are not adverse to sharing the same woman and showing her a good time .Ella a 22 year old with hidden depths and hidden secrets. Walks into the club one day looking for a Job. A job that she so desperately needs . The physical attraction Matthew feels for Ella is instantaneous and confuses him. She is not his usual type ,too think and in clothes that look like they have seen better days .An attraction he would like to explore ,but first he wants to know what or who she is hiding from and what her secrets are.As she settles into her job Matthew takes her under his wing which makes me think this arrogant dominant alpha Male actually has a heart, and together they embark on an easy going friendship which will eventually make her more confident about revealing her secrets to him. And turn their friendship into something more.I do not wish to give too much of the storyline away as I feel you will definitely need to one click this book and find out what happens between Matthew and Ella.As a debut novel this far surpassed my expectations. Once I started this book I was unable to put it down it had completely hooked me straight from page one. It was very well written Sebastian Ex and I sincerely hope we will be seeing a new novel from you in the not too distant future. Thankyou for a most enjoyable read.

It was so beautiful to read such a fantastic story from a male's perspective. I am not saying that I don't believe him but the wording is better than a first time's better than some authors last written work. Sebastian Ex has really done his work to make sure that this would be a story that people could enjoy (as long as they are interested in this type of work and don't have any sensitivity to the subject of abuse). It isn't overly nauseating with the descriptive wording about the things that happen and yet just enough to feed you the visual of what is going on. To me the topic of abuse will never be overdone. There is too many angry people looking for the wrong way to release their own monsters and too many victims who never get to know what it feels like to be safe. That doesn't even take into account all of the money hungry savages who have no care for humanity. Whether it is a true story or one of fiction, opening the eyes of people about these things is a great way to help the problem. I loved these characters. They were realistic and sexy and sensual without crossing the line from erotica to disgusting. His protective, loving, jerkish nature. Her broken, strong-willed, sensitive persona. The two blended well from the beginning. She didn't take his crap and he didn't allow her to hide. I can't wait to read more by this author. He left me on a high.

This book will be hard for some readers because there is abuse involved. This abuse does NOT happen by the hands of the male lead. Ella is a woman who is on the run from a demonic and abusive ex. The things he did to her, and allowed to happen to her, are unforgivable. She is broken, scared, lacks self-confidence. Matt, or Mathew as he prefers to be called, is a dominant. He is also the owner of a burlesque club with his best friend. He will not sleep with anyone who works for him; it’s his number one rule. Until he interviews Ella, then discovers she is homeless.I will just put it out there, Matt is an asshole and most of this book I did not like him. His view of women disgusts me, as he feels, at times, that they are made for his pleasure. However, he will NOT harm or condone the harm of any woman and for that he gained some points in his favor. The end, he very much redeems himself and I almost liked him as much as Ella does. There are some really sexy bits in this book that had me panting. His care and patience with Ella was more than any woman could ask for. I hope we get more books and see into the lives of their group of friends. ~ Devlynn, 4 stars

5-StarsMatthew is a successful egotistical ass and I tend not to like them. I was frustrated with his arrogance and asshole-itis and could have punched him in the throat..until he met Ella and found a place in my heart.Ella is a broken young lady who has a past most.couldn't imagine. She is timid, scared, and needs a break who knew Matthew could be her Savior? She actually helped Matt along the way become a better him, in my opinion.Filthy Desire is Sebastian's debut release and I was pleasantly surprised. If you know Sebastian in any capacity you will understand how he could create such a great story of arrogance, caring, control, & passion. Matthew has no shame, says what he feels without thought or regard, and apologizes later, if at all.Would I recommend the book absolutely! Not for the soft erotica readers. Filthy Desire is hard core with some darkness.

I love this book, read it twice within a 48 hour period. I could not get enough of Matthew and Ella's story. I love the moments of fun intertwined with the seriousness. the twists this story will keep you on the edge of your seat. I really cannot beleive this is Sebastian EX'S first book, and I really do hope he continues to write more even if it is not just the continuing story of these wonderful characters. Filthy Desire is a contemporary, suspense, romantic story. Matthew a dom with a caring heart and a controlling Side that at first you hate him, but give him a chance he redeems himself. Ella Is a women who has been treated the worst a person could be treated. with help from Matthew and the trust and care he provides has Ella's comming out of her shell, with some twists along the way.

I have to say I truly enjoyed reading this story! I felt so bad for Ella in the beginning but by the end I was happy how everything turned out! Ella has been on the run from a man who abused and used her not only for his pleasure of those he deemed worthy of using an abusing her as well! She's scared and timid to start out, but really she doesn't realize that she's actually a very strong and beautiful woman! Well that is until Matthew! Matthew or as she calls him, Matt, is a club owner and loves to play with woman! His best friend is his partner in crime in more ways then one! That is until Matthew meets Ella! A twist and turn brings these two together in many different ways and I love how the story unfolds! Amazingly written!

Wow... This is a sizzling hot read one you will not be able to put down. Wonderful job Sebastian Ex on your debut novel.Matthew is a dominate in all aspects of his life. When Ella shows up at his club inquiring about a job he has nothing good to say about her. She is to skinny, plain, skittish, and he has no problem voicing his opinion of her. Ella is broken, she has had a life you could not even imagine. Her strength amazes me. She is definitely the true hero in my eyes. There story is perfect. Great characters, and story line. The characters stayed true to the that themselves. Just and all around wonderful read. ChristyRadical Reads Book Blog

Matthew and Ella's story is scorching hot with just enough sweet mixed in. Ella comes to Matthew for a job while running from a monster of an abusive ex. He wants to protect her yet own her for himself. He can't fight the attraction he has for her and brings her home with him. They become closer and share some sizzling moments together. When Ella is taken Matthew loses his mind, but finds and rescues her making sure that she doesn't ever have to be afraid again. I so loved their story.I give Filthy Desire 5 hearts!

HOT HOT HOT!!!! A woman on the run finds herself in the company of a man who doesn't want to touch her but has one heck of a time resisting her. He only answers to Matthew, but Ella really doesn't care. I found these 2 characters to be quite realistic and I got drawn into the relationship that develops between them. Loved being able to "feel" the connection between them and how Matthew proved to Ella how she could trust him. A great story and a perfect ending. Great read and you won't be disappointed. Great job Sebastian!

  • Romance Between The Sheets
    2019-04-26 19:08

Please note this review may contain spoilers. When I first started reading FILTHY DESIRE I almost couldn’t see myself finishing it. Why? Because of Matt. Without a doubt he starts out as the worst male character I have ever read. He’s a prick and an arsehole, which is quite a feat when you think about it. He’s a 38 year old burlesque club owner who never sleeps with a woman older than 22 years of age. And when he first meets Ella, he’s absolutely horrible. Here is a young woman who clearly needs help, and while I understand he’s in a business where good looks are important, the way he speaks to Ella and the things he says to her and about her are truly disgusting. So now that I got all that negativity out of the way, trust me when I say that once you get past the first few chapters and Matt’s ugly personality, you’ll really enjoy this book. Why? Because Matt gets better. Much better. After he gets to know more about Ella and her sickening past, he becomes a very likeable man. A hero even. Yes, you heard me right, a hero. Ella brings out his compassionate side and need to protect in a way that no other woman has before. He’s still rude, demanding and unwilling to compromise, but with Ella, some of the rough edges are smoothed out just a little.Matt: I want to lick, taste, and devour her entire body. To show her what sex really is, how her body is meant to be pleasured, not tortured. It’s built to be fucked, not mistreated. It’s meant to be cherished, not ruined. Now Ella I loved right from the start. She is broken and terribly scarred and scared, but you know she’s strong because after years of being used and abused, after enduring so much pain and with the threat of death, she still found the strength and courage to escape. She takes nothing for granted and has a truly beautiful soul. Thanks to Matt, she learns that not all men hurt women and that Matt can be trusted not to hurt her. She puts her faith in him and not once did he disappoint her. He shows her that when done right and handled with care, his domination and her submission is a beautiful and enjoyable thing.Ella: “I love sunshine on my face. Reminds me I’ve lived through another day.”I’ll admit, I was on the fence about whether to read FILTHY DESIRE or not. And I’ll be honest, it’s because it’s a debut erotic novel written by a man so I really wasn’t sure what to expect. But I’m really glad I read it and I would definitely read more from Sebastian Ex. So like I said before, keep reading through the first few chapters because it’s totally worth it when you get to the good stuff. Please note, if you have issues with reading about rape and abuse, I would not recommend this book for you.For more reviews, please visit our website:

Matthew enjoys women, all different women. One deal breaker though - they must never call him anything other than Matthew, not Matty and definitely not Matt! He made a vow to himself once he started his Burlesque club and that was to never sleep with any of his employees. Matthew knows not to trample where he sits. He was happy with this vow and it worked for years...until he met her. After having growing up in foster care, Ella is pleased when once she aged out of the system at 18 she met her boyfriend, who seemed too good to be true. Unfortunately, there was no happy ever after for Ella or at least not with this man. So once circumstances allowed her to, she ran as far away as she could from him. After arriving at Matthew's club seeking a job; he initially tells her no - she would not fit in with the rest of the girls- although there is something about Ella that piques his interest. After finally agreeing that she could bus tables for him, he lets her leave. Needless to say though Matthew is not happy when he finds out that she told him a lie regarding her living accommodations, he offers her a place to stay in exchange she would do the cleaning and cooking for him. How will Matthew react when he finds out the reason why Ella is running? Will he break his own vow and sleep with her? Will Ella ever stop running from her past? This is a truly amazing book by a very talented author. Although this book does deal with the darker side of BDSM there is also a love story twisted throughout. I loved Ella especially the fact that although she was practically a shell, she was still strong enough to stand up to Matthew and fight with him - about almost everything. Although I felt sorry for her when she was telling Matthew about her past I was glad at the same time that she was opening up about it. I also thought that it was amazing that even after all she had been through she still trusted Matthew almost instantly.Matthew, well he was something else, although he was a self-confessed womanizer he quickly changed his ways after Ella turned up on his doorstep and he realized she needed him. He even left a woman waiting for him in a closet when Ella needed him.I really enjoyed this book and couldn't put it down until I had read the last page. I had to know if Matthew did break his vow and if he was able to break down all of Ella's walls and get her to stop being almost like a scared little girl - although she had plenty of reasons for doing so!I thoroughly enjoyed this book and would highly recommend it to others.

4.5 STARS!I received an ARC from the publisher in exchange for an honest review. This was an amazing piece of work for a first novel of an author! Never while reading it did I ever think it was a first time author. The plot was ever-twisting, the characters were fairly complex and well-developed and the sex was sizzling hot.Matthew and his best friend Brandon own a night club called The Onyx. They both also happen to be lifestyle Doms with VERY active sex lives, with a habit of sharing a woman quite frequently. They're both rich and good-looking living their lives exactly how they've always dreamed. They have sexual relationships, which have included subs, but there aren't any emotions involved or strings attached. Ella is a plain looking, rather unkempt young lady who comes into the club for a job interview with Matthew. At first he's a complete a$$hole to her. He doesn't think she's pretty enough or has the personality to be working in their high class club. But something pulls at him about her and he gives her the job because he senses she really needs it.Come to find out, she needs more than just a job. Since this is an erotic suspense, I'm not going to ruin the suspense. Matthew and Ella's lives both are irrevocably changed after she enters his office that first time. Ella's been running from danger for awhile and Matthew swears to himself that she won't ever have to run again. While protecting her, he also works on healing her self esteem and her broken emotions by treating her how a true Dom should treat his cherished sub.Can all of his love, guidance and protection truly keep her safe? Or allow her to heal from the emotional and physical torture she's managed to escape from? You'll have to read to find out. I was waiting with abated breath to see what would happen next. Matthew's complete change inside his heart after Ella enters his life was touching and brought tears to my eyes. His nurturing side had me sighing and saying "Awwww..." more times than I could relay here.I should warn that there are scenes of extreme sexual and physical abuse associated with Ella's past. Please consider that before reading this book. Abuse and violence are never endorsed and it's definitely made clear how awful it is for a Dom to abuse his power, but the truth of Ella's history is still told.I'm looking forward to reading this author's next book- Dangerous Desire releasing later this summer!

5 Stars!I really liked this book in a very bad and dirty way. This book is not for the weak and not for the prude. This book was hot, dirty, sexy, wrong at times, and so very good. This book, while seriously hot, had a great story to it about a woman learning to overcome her abusive past to embracing being a true submissive to a dominant that loves and cherishes her. And a crazy bonus?! The author is male and I LOVE finding male authors because their books are always grittier and definitely more real in the romance world. This is Matthew and Ella's story. Matthew is on the top of his game and living the good life. He loves women but one rule you never break is calling him Matt or thinking you can call the shots. From the beginning Matt shows us he is the boss and what he says go. When he interviews a woman who is odd, dirty and seriously in need of help, he can't help but be drawn to her for some odd reason. When Matthew runs into Ella again and sees she is in a dire situation on the run, he knows he has to do something. Matthew does something kind probably for the first time in his life... he takes her in and helps her out. As these two grow close, a bond is formed that neither saw coming. Can Matthew show Ella the right side to a Dom/Sub relationship? Can Ella find healing with the help of Matt? Watch a beautifully tragic love story unfold with an amazing ending!Matthew, oh how I wanted to choke the ever-living $hit out of you about a hundred times. In the beginning I hated him and doubted if he was going to break this book. He was rude, mean, bossy and really demanding.... BUT! As I read on, I understood him and why he was so hardened like he was and I really started to like him as he thawed out to Ella. I admired him as a dominant. I loved the way he was with Ella. He showed her how a true submissive should be treated. He slowly broke down her walls and gave her the love she needed. And Ella, my heart broke for her when we found out what she went through. I couldn't imagine and I am so glad he got what he deserved. I liked the side characters in the book.I cannot wait for more from the author. To be a debut novel, he totally knocked it out of the park. He can only go up from here so I will be patiently waiting for more!I highly recommend this book.Review Post--->

Captivated from the first page! The author’s ability to draw you into the story and keep you hooked throughout is a testament to what a talented writer he is. I love the fact that this book was written by a male author. I went in with no pre-conceptions about how I thought it might feel like to read I just wanted to see how the story would play out. Sebastian Ex’s character development and overall concept of the story were great and the way he shows the sexual and sensual connection between Matthew and Ella grow throughout the story had me gripped from start to finish. So Matthew is a domineering man who knows what he likes and likes to get what he wants. If you are lucky enough to catch his eye he has only two requests. Only call him Matthew (not Matt or Matty) and don’t ask for his number. Break these rules are he is out the door faster than you can blink. This all seems to change the moment that Ella steps into his office looking for a job. She defies him straight away by only calling him Matt. Even though this seems to get to him he can feel the connection for her straight away. The way that she acts timidly around him brings out his domineering side and he feels an overwhelming need to protect her. He can tell she has been hurt but needs her to open up to him so he can help her heal.Ella has been hurt in ways you cannot imagine and doesn’t know how to re-build her self worth back up again. She needs to learn to trust Matthew completely as he is the only one who can give her what she truly needs. She has to learn that he will never hurt her and would do anything and everything to protect her (as can be seen at the end of the book!). Matthew is so gentle with how he handles Ella. Never pushing her past her limits unless he knows she is ready and can handle it. Once he starts breaking down her barriers and getting her to trust him completely the passion between them becomes electric. The title Filthy Desires does the book justice with its raunchy sex scenes. Sexual chemistry at its best! This is a great debut novel and I would recommend it to fans of erotica fiction. Looking forward to reading Dangerous Desires next.I received this title from Give Me Books in exchange for my honest review.Cover Reveal and Review up on blog:

Told from Matthew’s point of view- Filthy Desire wafted through my fingers with a delicious, refreshing breeze that this exciting debut author should be very proud of.Literally from the first chapter the book, I was on a rollercoaster that I just didn’t want to stop. This gloriously dominant man had it all but from my perspective the one thing he had that meant the most to me was that he had my undivided attention, I just couldn’t tear myself away from him.Yes, he was wealthy, Yes, he was passionate and Yes, he made other men pale into insignificance but his compassion drew me in almost as much as his passion. He could be a bit of an arse at times but then who can’t and yes, I could see things as I was reading that really had me looking for something to smack him upside the head with.Life is fairly easy for Matthew, he lives a life determined by his own rules, namely two in particular: only ever call him Matthew and don’t under any circumstance ask for his phone number – the answer would not be what you would want to hear! But can this powerful, controlling man be knocked off his perch? Oh Yes, because god help him when the bashful Ella comes looking for a job, because no matter what she looks like and how much he wants to keep her at arm’s length, this sassy little thing has the makings of turning his life on its head. There is something about her that has him captivated and when he offers her a job, that is just the start of the absorption of her into his life… despite the fact that he refuses to call him anything but Matt- I loved her defiant streak!Matthew cannot help himself, he needs to have her with him to be able to be the person she needs to lean on and make sure that she is safe. Ella’s back story was well written and emotionally intense and I was pleasantly surprised by how much the author has managed to plough into her story. All in all I have to say that this had everything that I had anticipated and much, much more. Of course it had the prerequisite sex scenes and the odd well placed scene that took things just a little bit further but it was all handled with the skill of a well-seasoned professional, congratulations Sebastian – the jobs a good one!!!!

So I'm giving this book 4 stars because I thought I was going to have to force myself to finish this in the beginning. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't capturing my attention. Then all of a sudden I found myself getting into it. Then I'm at 55% ... then I'm at 94% and I'm so amazed at the development within the characters. I'm sorry .... is this the same Matthew as I read in the first chapter??? No ... not even close. And I loved it.I don't think I've ever read a character transition from a full on A-hole, who I was seriously questioning, to me unquestioningly believing his love for a woman. And actually liking him. It just snuck up on me and it worked. It was a good story. It handled the BDSM in a very mature way. I think I find this so shocking because Matthew is so far from seeming like he would handle anything maturely. He seems like he would just take and care about himself. Well he took care of Ella and I believed their relationship. I liked it. I liked the progression. The downfall of this book is the beginning. It is a little unbelievable and you start to question whether this is just going to be a book about sex and be graphic and tasteless. Well, it does have a good amount of sex in it, and it is graphic, but it is in the best way. Just push through that initial hump and I promise it will be worth it. Also, there were some errors. She's behind a desk, but he sees her puffy eyes??? He gets up and walks around his desk, but then he stands up and his chair hits the wall?? It threw me off a bit. There are some minor editing issues, but not enough to make me bothered by it. Then there was just little things that weren't realistic. Basic things that should be correct. We can imagine, we can embellish to make a story, but keep the easy things true so I don't get caught up. Let's be honest here. No woman will ever get a haircut, color, eyebrow waxing, and facial for $85 ... not even at Great Clips. And then he buys shampoo and conditioner and a hair dryer for almost $200 .... Where are you?? I think it was more personal ... but it bothered me. So I'm telling you ... get past that beginning and just love the end. It really is a very good book. It's quick and the story is really complete in the end. I was very satisfied.

Title: FILTHY DESIRESeries: The Onyx Club #1Category /Genre: BDSM, Erotic RomanceRecommended for: 18+ due to sexual contentReceived from: Sebastian Ex (in exchange for an honest review)This is the first book in the Onyx Club series. I’ve been told that each will stand on its own, but of course we’re all going to want to read them all, so you may as well read them in order (always my opinion). At first I kind of hated Matthew (don’t call me Matt). I thought, “Here’s another domineering man claiming to be a dominant to get no-strings-sex.” Within pages, Cupid hits him with the whole arsenal and he doesn’t even flinch. Instead he shows himself to be a real Dom who accepts the charge placed in his hands by providence. With patience and love, he tears down Ella’s walls to build her back up even stronger than the tigress she shows herself to be at her first meeting with him. Her past has provided her with reasons to shy away from any and all around her, a frightened little kitten, but with the wisdom to use her claws when needed. Ella’s past is truly the stuff of nightmares, but Matthew is more than capable as her personal dragon-slayer. This knight doesn’t have shiny armor. Remember, shiny armor is for posers who have never been tested! The majority of the story is written from Matthew’s point of view. Coming from a male author, it provides an intimate insight to the Dominant’s feelings and thoughts as he bonds with and builds his submissive. He provides her the wings she needs to make her submission significant. For me this was the stuff to make me sigh. I also cried with and for Ella a few times. She is so strong. Though broken in body and spirit when she meets Matthew, she is fearless of heart and determined to put the past behind her and protect her protector. I am so excited to know that I will be receiving Dangerous Desires (The Onyx Club #2) as soon as ARCs are ready for distribution. Thank you Lee Ann, Sebastian Ex’s PA, for contacting me and inviting me to read and review this series.

OMG...loved loved loved it!!! I just started reading male authors and adore the different perspectives from a male point of view...I like the realism of this story but wish there was more romance...However I am about to contradict what I just said because often times when I read the same kind of story written by a woman I think there is too much romance and not enough realism! I know it doesn't really make sense so let me try to explain, women are romantic by nature and men lean more towards realism by nature, not that they can't be romantic but women and men's perspectives are different because well they're different creatures. Anyway, if there is an author out there who will find an even way of writing it's this one. I like finding new authors especially after reading every novel written by the authors i already like and obviously I'm not patient enough to wait for new stories by authors I already love because I need something to occupy my mind so I can relax from everyday stress of life... So keep reading the authors you love but don't miss out on trying the new ones or you'd miss out on OUTSTANDING authors like this one!!!!!WARNING....this story is about abuse but totally worth risking triggers to be able to hear a man's perspective written by an actual man...he isn't overly descriptive about the abuse but is descriptive about how the hero of the story feels about what happened to his woman...I also love how Matthew goes to obsessive lengths trying to help Ella heal...if only men in real life were really as smart as Matthew is...he truly seems to know and wants to give her what she needs. I also love how he avenges her. If more victims of the world were protected and loved the way Ella is by Matthew we would have less problems in the future and thus causing less victims but life isn't perfect. The author makes a point to emphasize that and also makes a point to correct imperfections that are within the characters control!!!!!

I have read some really great books lately and this debut by Sebastian Ex is another. Once I started reading, I couldn’t stop, and I’m thanking the PTB that it was short enough to polish off in a night and not get to bed at 3am again!Matthew (don’t call me Matt) Weston owns a burlesque club with best friend, Brandon. Ella comes for a job interview, her appearance ratty and unkempt, but somehow capturing the attention of this domineering man. He does have a policy in place to not sleep with his employees… It may take a while, but, you guessed it, he breaks his own rules. Ella has a horrid past. Absolutely f**kin’ horrid. Kicked out of the foster care system at eighteen, she was taken in (yes, both meanings, folks) by an arsehole who truly deserves to have his nuts lopped off. I’m not holding back; the mere mention of the character who only ever makes an appearance through Ella’s explanations makes me want to backhand him. With a brick. To the head. She has walls built around her that Matt (yes, she defies him at every turn there and refuses to call him Matthew!! Spitfire!) is gradually breaking down as he declares her as his, and his alone. He’s determined not to let her go or for harm to come to her. I really, really enjoyed this first novel from Sebastian Ex and look forward to what he comes up with next. It was well written, with great characters to watch grow throughout the course of the story. It was lovely and clean (and by clean, I mean editing. It was lovely and dirty in other parts!), and was a smooth and easily read to power through. 3 hours it took, and that was with an indulgence of pie and ice cream…I know I’m a 5 star whore, but I truly enjoyed the read. There was nothing about it I didn’t like (apart from arsehole f**ksticks like deserves-a-brick-to-the-face guy). Indulge yourself today in some Filthy Desires. xxx
