Until Soon Reviews
I know this book gets a lot of good reviews. Unfortunately I could not get through it. I missed the chemistry and romance. I could not identify with the characters, which can of course be my fault, I do not know. I did not finish it. I love a romance that slowly builds, but this book took so long that the flame was extinguished before it caught fire. Without chemistry and real romance, I could not muster more patience for the story.
Until Soon was released (at last!) this month as an ebook. Because I read the online version only, I bought the ebook immediately, and read it again... and really enjoyed it again. I just hope that Maya Indigal would also start writing again. (added Jan 20, 2013)---This is a rather slow-paced but very sweet romance set on a college campus with two very likable main characters. A nice and satisfying read.(Dec 19, 2012)
Was really looking forward to reading this book (just bought it despite it already being out for a long time). I'm at the 20% mark and its still slow going :(. Hopefully it will get more interesting soon. From the 40% mark it got better. The couple were cute. I found CJ to be irritatingly impatien. Like come on... Personal stuff, secrets and insecurities take time for people to open up about. Sondont throw a tantrum just because you don't get to know someone's secrets right off the bat.I really dont want to do it but ill have to give the story a 2.7-3 star. A big part of the story was dull because of the slow pace. It had more potential and could've been better.2 stars are reserved for dnf.
