    Worth a lookAny regular Nee Yorker reader or publishing pro will enjoy reading this. It's well written and interesting, but a short history of a specific time period and not an overall history of the magazine.

    I tapped out about halfway through William Shawn's letter, but dipped back in and enjoyed it. This essay could be subtitled "William Shawn Was a Great Editor and a Shitty Human"
