This was a very unique book. It's the first book I've had the pleasure of reading from this series, but I loved it.We have the entwined stories of two women; Carly & Campbell. Two women who have had hard lives but they make it through.Campbell has lived her young teenage life in foster care before she finally finds love from a family.Carly is a married woman with a daughter. Her controlled life is destroyed when she realizes that her husband is not who she thought he was. When she finds out his huge betrayal, she decides to change her life. The book focuses on these two women...but it is so complicated and rich that you cannot help but love it!Will Campbell have her happily ever after? Will Carly get her wish and have more children? Will these two women find happiness? Will the evil people around them get what they deserve? The book also includes amazing secondary characters; Royce, Lakin, Leah are perfectly flawed and they add to the story. Simply fantastic. If you're looking for something different with emotion and real, imperfect people, then this is for you.4 Stars*I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Deliver Her From Evil by M.L. Steinbrunn | Review***Blogger note: I am a part of M.L. Steinbrunn’s beta-team. I also received an ARC for honest review for the blog tour.***This story is told from multiple points of view.Carly… the ever loving stay at home mom, raising her toddler daughter. Jack, her husband, a successful lawyer who is away on business a lot. When secrets come crashing down on what she thought was a happy, loving life, she is left to pick up the pieces of her splintered dreams and move on from what she thought would always be.Campbell… the orphaned foster kid who doesn’t understand the meaning of love. It’s just another four letter word to her. Growing up she never saw what real love meant or what it felt like to be loved until she met her group of friends, who becomes like a family to her. When she tries to help Carly piece her life back together, things get ugly. There is where she learns the true meaning of the word.I love working with M.L. Steinbrunn! This is the second book I have beta-read for her! I love being a part of her team so much because she really cares about what we think and our opinions. When I first started reading this, I knew I was going to love it… but I did feel like something was missing, an important piece of the puzzle. I emailed her and explained to her how I felt. When I finished, I was in love. I felt this was the best writing I had seen from her. To me the best book in this trilogy. The ending, the character development, everything, I loved it. I loved watching these characters grow… especially Campbell.I emailed M.L. again saying I had finished and how I felt. She told me she took my opinion and how I felt into her heart and added what I felt the first half of the book needed. I received an ARC copy as well because I had signed up for the blog tour. So I reread the first half of the book and was so happy! M.L. gave me just what I felt was needed! I was so happy and proud. Just that little extra scene made it that much better! It brought the story from great to amazing!M.L. knows what she’s doing. She writes her characters as if she has experienced every little thing about them in her own real life. I have very much enjoyed working with her, I look forward to more in the future. I know everyone is going to love this book just as much as I did. It will grip you from chapter one and not let go until the end. 5 Stars!

Deliver Her From Evil is the third installment of ML Steinbrunn's Redemption Series. I've been with ML from the beginning, since Vivian fell for Brooks, and it's been one heck of a ride all the way.DHFE is both Carly and Campbell's story. I was curious to see how the author would pull this off given each character is integral to the series. The four friends established in book one - Viv, Jen, Carly, and Campbell - are all major players. Both Viv and Jen received their own books, so why not Carly and Campbell? The answer is clear when see just how integrated these two lives are.At the beginning of the story we find out how nasty Carly's husband Jack is. I will admit to having visceral reactions when I found out what he had done(view spoiler)[he had a vasectomy without her knowledge (hide spoiler)]. Are you kidding me?? Once Carly confides in her friends, Campbell recruits Brooks' brother, Lakin, to find out what else Jack has been up to. Lakin delivers the goods, and they aren't pretty. Needless to say Carly finds herself in the middle of a nasty divorce and seriously questioning herself as a woman and a mother.(view spoiler)[which is completely uncalled for because she's awesome (hide spoiler)]Meanwhile, Campbell finds herself confronting both her past and her future. We learn both her parents died when she was young, and she aged out of the foster care system (view spoiler)[and not without some horrifying things happening to her (hide spoiler)]. The woman she considers her adoptive mother passes on, and Campbell finds herself evaluating what she wants out of life. Enter Lakin, the friend she's been repressing feelings for, and a new romance is on the horizon.Without giving away the entire story, DHFE explores new relationships for both Carly (view spoiler)[Yay, Royce! (hide spoiler)] and Campbell. There were two plot twists that hit me out of nowhere, (view spoiler)[Campbell deciding to marry Lakin in Vegas seemed very un-Campbell-like to me. However, she is moving on and letting go of certain hangups. And the end with Jack! Holy schmoly, I was not expecting that! (hide spoiler)] and the ending of this book kept me on my toes. You can feel the love these people share for one another, and I'm not talking about romantic love. While there are one or two intimate scenes, (view spoiler)[ I really appreciate ML's ability to make an intimate scene intimate without making it cliche or raunchy (hide spoiler)]the majority of the feelings in this novel are about friends who are closer than family. My only critique of DHFE is I wanted more! There were a few scenes I would have like to have seen (view spoiler)[Carly's wild night with Royce, Campbell's wedding in Vegas, their recovery after Jack's attack (hide spoiler)], but I realize if these things were played out the book would be incredibly long. It just goes to show you how invested I was in these characters. I'm so glad they all got their own happy ending!Congrats ML on a great series! I will definitely miss this crew. Which leads me to my next question...what's next?

Deliver Her From Evil is the perfect conclusion to the Redemption series. M.L. Steinbrunn has managed to take this beautifully broken group of characters and permanently embed them in my heart with this final story. While Deliver Her From Evil mainly focuses on Carly and Campbell, this book really encompasses the sense of family that shines throughout this series. We get to glimpse Vivian, Brooks, Jen, and Casen, along with their growing families. The familiarity of this crew filled me with a sense of peace, as if I was catching up with old friends. Carly and Campbell’s personal journeys broke my heart, as they both faced their own versions of losing home. This book overflowed with emotion, drowning me in the story until I was completely lost to it. Campbell got under my skin the moment we met her in the first book. Her quiet strength and thoughtful demeanor totally intrigued me. I was drawn to her introspection and profound commentary on her roommates’ lives. M.L. Steinbrunn delivers the truth of this character in Deliver Her From Evil, relaying a story of disappointment and pain that tore at my heart. Her chemistry with Lakin, which has been sizzling for a while, seems to have kicked up several notches in this book, giving their storyline an addictive quality. Carly’s personal struggles left me feeling defeated, hurting with the lies and betrayal that was unraveling around her. Her relationship with Royce definitely grew on me as M.L. showed us a totally different side to this complex man. The storyline in Deliver Her From Evil is just as gripping as ever. M.L. Steinbrunn has once again laced this story with surprises that kept me addicted. The emotional component of this story rests heavily upon M.L.’s family of characters, stirring up feelings that had me grinning, cringing, and shedding a few tears. Things moved quickly in this story, our couples falling hard and fast. The swiftness of their relationships however seemed completely justified by the friendships and events of the previous two books. This book really is the total package, filled with humor and incredible heart. M.L. Steinbrunn did an amazing job at bringing this story back around, especially with the addition of Leah. Deliver Her From Evil was satisfying and beautiful, leaving my heart feeling full and my mind at peace.

I won this book in a fb giveaway. The first chapter begins calm enough but it ends with a bit of a cliffhanger. It had me intrigued because I was left wondering what was going on. The story then backpedals. The author writes the novel in many perspectives and does many time jumps in order to tell Carly and Campbell stories. Both had very completely pasts and currently lead very different lives, but they were each others family. Carly believes she is leading the life she always dreamed of, but when everything falls apart she is left not knowing to do. She has her support system but it is hard for her to readjust to her new life. On the other hand, Campbell has come a long way from her past and is hesitant to risk the balance of her life. Each have to overcome their problems in order to get a brighter future. Something that I liked and frustrated me(in the best way possible) was how the author would be leading the reader to a certain point but would then switch to a completely different POV. The answers I wanted would have to wait a couple of chapters. It added suspense and had me reading faster in order to know what was going to happen. After all the time jumps, the author finishes up the novel by going full circle and wraps up all loose ends. Great Novel! A novel of strong women and how they take control of their lives for the better.

I had the privilege of reading this book in advance. One of the reasons why I love this author’s work is that she puts just the right amount of sexy to an otherwise tales of real lives. Deliver Her From Evil is the beautiful conclusion of the Redemption series. Each book can be read as a standalone but all the characters are interconnected. The series tell the stories of a group of women and their circle of friendship. In this case, Deliver Her From Evil is the interwoven story of two very strong women, Carly and Campbell. Their lives have led them to different directions but there is no other way to tell their story without them crossing each other’s paths in one way or another. Campbell believed she would always be alone and Carly thought she would never be alone and in the times of darkness, they were each other’s lights together with the wonderful men who truly deserve them. I never expected this story to go the direction it took! Shocked the hell out of me, but, as the series title implies, there is redemption at the end. One cannot wish but for these two women to achieve the lives that they deserve. This book is haunting, it’s beautiful, it’s heartbreaking and it’s real. Kudos to Ms. Steinbrunn for another well-written story.

Carly's life changes with a phone call. Everything she thought about her married life was a lie. She had no idea and it blindsided her. I loved that Royce came into her life to give her laughter and love. They were so fun together. Campbell had lived a life alone until meeting her friends including Carly. She hadn't let a man into her heart until Lakin fights to be that man. I love that he never gave up on her. Both women had been through so much.My heart broke for both of them. Something about Campbell so touched my heart. For someone who grew up with no family she was able to create her own and was the thread that connected everyone. I love that she and Carly were connected even more by something that could heal them both. I so enjoyed their story.I give Deliver Her From Evil 4 hearts!

Wow! What an emotion book. I was so glad to see that am.L. Did Carly and Campbell's book together. I felt lost for Carly and what she went through. Had a husband that was a jerk and decided to step up and then there is Royce he is such a funny guy and I loved how he made Carly feel the love that she should have gotten from the beginning. Campbell had a rough life growing up in being part of the system, but see her happy with Lakin made me so happy. I would love to see more of this family. Vivian, Jen, Carly, and Campbell. As I was reading this series I felt as if I was a part of this family. I hated to see this series come to an end and I hop each and everyone of you feels the same way as I do about this series. Thank you M.L. For writing about these love ladies. Can't wait to read more about them in the future.

WOW.I finished DHFE about 5 minutes ago. I'm speechless. This book was very beautifully written. You know that book you just can't put down.. the one you read in every spare minute you have.. the one you get SO invested in that you're thinking about the characters in between being able to read...Welcome to my world. DHFE is it.I was on the edge of my seat for majority of the book.I fell so in love with the characters that I'm truly sad to see it end.Add Deliver Her From Evil to your TBR.You won't regret it, I promise.P.s. if you haven't read the first two books in the series, it isn't a necessity, but is highly recommended as they are just as amazing as this one. ♡I LOVE Campbell & Casey. ♡

I have been a fan of M.L. Steinbrunn since book 1. I can't convey how much I love her writing style! She is a great storyteller that weaves the story around your heart and doesn't let go until she has drained every emotion out of you. I was unsure how this book would play out when I realized it is two stories in one. Usually it falls flat, but that is not the case. She did a wonderful job telling Carly and Campbell's stories! You will love these characters just as much as the first two books. Come and fall in love with this author - you will be happy you did! -Shauna-

It has been a joy reading these past three books. The characters are great. I actually really liked Royce. I wasn't sure if he was going to make the grade to be worthy. I was glad to be wrong about him. There is some funny moments, some dark moments, and some nail biting moments.
