"You stared at the counter with this expression on your face, and I realized you were watching the shadows from the window."It's hatefully short, criminally sappy and disgustingly cloying, it doesn't provide the slightest insight into the characters, nothing -nothing- happens and I can't name a single rational reason why you should read this. But it made my heart melt like a damn burning candle."I could kiss him. I could swoon."Damn right, Marguerite. Damn right. So, who cares what your brain -or mine- tells you? Go read it. Right here, right now.

"Paul looks like he'd rather just go home and make out in the kitchen; I would agree, except that I know my Dad is likely to be in there with his laptop, listening to the Beatles music as he catches up on all the Facebook "in memoriam" posts in his honor. Total mood-killer"I don't remember Marguerite being so hilarious in the first book. You are developing as a character my precious child. Also, Paul is my baby. I will protect him at all costs. You can read this short story for free on Wattpad. ♥

“And I realised you were … awake. You were awake when almost everyone else in the world was asleep. You were alive to what was happening around you, everything, not just the big and dramatic things, but something as small as the shadow of a leaf… You noticed things that were delicate or small, the things nobody would ever notice – all those moments that will never come again.”This was super short and super sweet. Nothing really happened except my heart just turned to mush!!!! NAWWWWWW *heart eyes*THEY MAKE SUCH A CUTE COUPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Okay I think I might know what team I am now…. Four lovey-dovey stars “ He would love every version of me, everywhere.”

3/5 starsThis is a really short, but cute ficlet. It's not absolutely necessary to read (it's just a "fun extra"), but I still somewhat enjoyed reading their conversation. Meg and Paul are trying to make things work, but there are still some awkward things they have to overcome. I'm looking forward to seeing where their relationship will go from here!Read the ficlet on Wattpad.

I think this novella captures the grieving process that is still happening for Marguerite. How awkward it is to love someone that is dead but alive. I like that this little story builds on the romance and it's an important part of the relationship. Again, Paul's melodramatic love confessions fell short for me, but, hey, he's adorable.

"The magnetism between us -- that, too, remains the same in every world, with every Paul." I'm not crying, YOU'RE crying.

Hmm.. I'm not sure what to think about this one.On one hand, it's cute and fluffy, but all of it just seems so superficial. Paul doesn't seem like a real guy. The main character -I can't remember her name, sounded odd with all her explanation of what had happened in the first book. Not my favorite.

Excited to find this super quick read that is a Wattpad freebie. Needs a bit of an edit, doesn't add much to the story, but is still pretty cute.

"And I realized you were . . . awake. You were awake when almost everyone else in the world was asleep." woah!! okay i actually loved this...? I am very pleasantly surprised by the fact that I enjoyed this little ficlet and it was enough to send me back into the world. It was so cute and sweet and just something to add to the world that I am already in love with.

Absolutely nothing happens in this ficlet. I can't give you a single good reason as to why you should read this, but I loved this a lot. It's not even 5 pages long - it's ridiculously short, surprisingly sappy, and had me smiling for 10 minutes after I finished reading it. The first book didn't really give us an insight on what the characters were like, because the action picked up from the very beginning. This book provided that. I loved getting to see more of Marguerite's funny and playful personality - in the first book she seemed like she was always worrying and constantly bitching for not having things go according to plan, but with this ficlet we really got to see her come out of her shell. She's so comfortable around Paul, it's sickeningly adorable even though I'm still bitter about her and Theo. I still felt like Paul was kinda distant in this, I think it's gonna take me a bit longer to warm up to him, but he was a lot more smiley and not as stoic and that was a refreshing little change to see.I loved how this ficlet serves as a little in between books peek - things are still fresh and new and awkward between Marguerite and Paul, but they're so eager to see what's there and what they can do with it. They make a great pair, I think, and reading this has made me really excited to read the second book.

That was... fine I guess. Didn't know what to expect for this 4 pages stories, but to be honest after finishing A Thousand Pieces I was specting... something more? I know... just four pages, but I do not enjoy weird uncomfy dates, I just can't!Anyway, it was sweet though. And I laughed with some bits. Can't wait to read Ten Thousand Skies Above You!

Mentioning current movies kind of ruined it for me. I never thought of this book existing in the same universe. Not really sure what the point of this ficlet was other than to briefly summarize the last book. The awkward conversation could have just taken place in book 2

"You want to go see a movie about a physicist?""I like physicists. You might have noticed." Troppo troppo breve. Amo Paul con tutto il mio essere *-*Give me more. I want the second. GIVE ME!
