This boxed set was full of such good books. I liked all the books in the set and even though they were almost the same - the plot was almost exactly the same - I enjoyed reading the books immensely. The stories just gave me a very happy feeling with their happy endings.

As an avid reader and reviewer, I enjoy series and describe myself as a "series junkie," but I also love Anthology box sets where several authors use a universal theme and each spin a story that all complement each other. Once again, the magic happens with Jennifer Conner, Angela Ford, Sharon Kleve and Amber Daulton. Cinderella Had it Easy (The Cinderella Body Club Book 1) by Jennifer ConnerWAR OF THE ROSESWhat a fun start to a new series of books by various authors for The Cinderella Body Club. When Cami gets a locket from her Grandmother Camille, she shares with her girlfriends, it is supposedly magically, but only for 24 hours, and they each make a wish upon the locket. What a shock to wake up and look in the mirror and see the woman she had envisioned for herself, and each of her friends saw the magic for themselves too. Believing herself beautiful, Cami has a boost of self-confidence. This story is entertaining with delightful characters, witty dialogue and a heartwarming message. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and dreams can come true with your own special Prince CharmingSPELLBOUND CINDERELLA (The Cinderella Body Club Book 2) by Angela FordStar-Gazing LoversThis is a continuation of the Cinderella Body Club anthology series. Tess Andrews has had a thing for Parker Walsh, but he never would notice her, after all, he works with models all day long. Photographer Parker Walsh would love to approach Tess, but she always seems standoffish. When Tess and her girlfriends make a wish on a pendant, magic happens, and she sees herself as beautiful and confident. She accepts a lunch date with Parker and then agrees to join him at a charity auction. Parker dotes on her and she feels beautiful, at least for the magical 24 hours. What happens when the day changes? Parker feels she is what he has been missing in his life, a life partner. Can these two star-crossed lovers have their happily-ever-after? Second Chance Cinderella (The Cinderella Body Club Book 3) by Sharon KleveCHANGING ATTITUDE TO GAIN CONFIDENCEWhat can happen in 24-hours when wishing upon a locket? When 4 friends do just that, they wake up and see themselves as how they wish to be seen. Better body, hair, height, just like they envisioned. Raven St. James works as a Phlebotomist. She is great with patients but shy around Dr. Quinn Taylor. Raven goes into work with a new confidence, she feels beautiful and sexy and even winks at Quinn. Will she and Quinn find magic together before she changes back? Will her prince finally come for her and will one magical night become a happily-ever-after. Disclosure: I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts, opinions, and ratings are my own.Cinderella's Enchanted Night (The Cinderella Body Club Book 4) by Amber DaultonLEARNING TO LOVE YOURSELFAh, the fourth and final story in this delightful anthology of The Cinderella Body Club. Annalise Gallagher had a less than happy childhood that has left her a few physical and many emotional scars. She has dubbed herself a "stalker" of Elijah Burleigh who works across from her at an art gallery doing tours two days a week and art restoration the other days. She takes out a yearly membership to attend his tours just to see him, but, of course, she doesn't think he even notices her. Four friends, one story shared by the Grandmother of Cami, a magic pendant equals 24 hours of new found confidence and attitude and a date to attend a wedding with Elijah. But what happens after their romantic night when morning comes? Can Annalise and Elijah have a future when the magic wears off? Can one enchanted night be the start of something amazing? Maybe they have more in common than either one realized and Elijah is her Prince Charming and they can have a happily-ever-after ending.

Girls’ night – the magical nights of friendship, shared in relaxing surroundings, with delicious food and drinks, that re-energize positive thoughts, ideas become strengthened with hope and confidence, souls are nurtured, and where love always abounds. It would seem difficult to think of an extended visit of girlfriends that doesn’t take the opportunity at some point during the conversation for sharing of each other’s own perception of physical attributes – regardless of the ages of the girls or women. Analysis of one’s own physical beauty seems part of the life-long pursuit of happiness for a girl – a woman. Then think of the possibilities that begin with the setting of a girls’ night with the dearest of friends in comfy clothes, uninterrupted time for sharing conversation, wine, and delicious home-made treats. The shared conversation includes the show-and-tell of a grandmother’s gift of a beautiful locket to her namesake granddaughter Cami and the retelling of grandmother’s story – well, at least part of the story as shared up until Grandma Cami fell asleep. But the possibility of a magical locket gives the four (4) friends, Cami, Tess, Raven, and Annalise pause to create a “Cinderella” wish of their own. There’s only one catch. During the retelling of the story, Grandma Cami said that if you make a wish with the locket, the magic will only last from midnight to midnight. Will a wish come true? Is there any possibility that the wish could last longer than 24 hours? The Cinderella Body Club Series…Cinderella Had it Easy by Jennifer Conner – Story 1 – The magical 24 hours for Camille (Cami) Carlina begins.Cinderella Spellbound by Angela Ford – Story 2 – The magical 24 hours for Tess Andrew magical begins.Second Chance Cinderella by Sharon Kleve – Story 3 – The magical 24 hours for Raven St. James begins.Cinderella’s Enchanted Night by Amber Daulton – Story 4 – The magical 24 hours for Annalise Gallagher begins.Preceding Chapter 1 in Second Chance Cinderella (Story 3) is a powerful quote for reflection: “I don’t worship perfection, I don’t even like it very much. Everything is perfect until it breaks. Only in the mending do you know true quality.” ~Author Unknown. This series of stories is true quality! I have found each of the stories with a charm unique to each author and also the delight that the stories can be read as independent titles (in any order) or as a series. The series takes the most fundamental worry of girls and women everywhere – self-acceptance, self-confidence, and self-worth and with the remembrance of an enduring fairy tale story of Cinderella showers readers with possibilities. Possibilities that begin as negative self-talk ends. Possibilities that begin as attitudes change. Possibilities that begin as self-confidence blooms. I wish I could gift this series of stories to all adults who are searching for self-acceptance, self-confidence, and self-worth. I’d also like to gift this story to every public library, family member or friend that is searching for a special story to give to a reader that needs a story of hope after being in a verbally abusive relationship or who is being bullied with words of negativity. I am not so naïve to think that all those searching for self-acceptance and self-confidence will have the same experience as Cami in Story 1, Tess in Story 2, Raven in Story 3, and Annalise in Story 4 but perhaps the stories can be the catalyst and inspiration to initiate a conversation or at the very least the spark of hope that leads to a new beginning. I have also provided individual book reviews for each story title in the series and they are also available on GoodReads. If you enjoy this series, I would also highly recommend, The Mobile Mistletoe Series also published by Books to Go Now. Here’s a toast to Girls’ Night Out!

The concept of this book was interesting to me and though I thought I could figure out the "twist," I hadn't read a good anthology in awhile and requested this one from NetGalley. It was okay. I know it's hard to build up a whole story with so few words and these authors did mostly okay. I was impressed that they managed to get at least a couple of scenes that crossed over into all four stories. Could have done with a little less beating about the head with how much the guys liked these gals (especially in the third story).Cinderella Had it Easy by Jennifer Conner Cami is the one to set things off, showing off her grandmother's magical pendant, the one that helped win her the love of Cami's grandfather. The same story begins the broader arch for each of the main characters. For Cami, she's quite shy because of the scars on her face, left there by a car accident when she was six. She's quite taken with the new host of the station where she works (which has history documenteries, is that even a a thing?). And he seems quite taken with her new body. Yes, wishing on the locket actually worked. And now Lance(lot!?!) seems quite interested in Cami. But can she trust that's it's going to last after the magic is gone?Spellbound Cinderella by Angela Ford Tess is totally attracted to Parker Walsh, the famous world-traveling photographer. But other than once spilling her coffee on him, she doesn't believe that he could ever see her as anything special. I mean, the man probably dates the models that her firm employs. So when the Cinderella spell works and Parker invites Tess to a fundraising event, complete with new dress, Tess is initially ecstatic. But she's going to grab this 24 hours to enjoy for the rest of her life...Second Chance Cinderella by Sharon Kleve It's really interesting that this particular main character, Raven St. James, is a phlebotomist. A person who draws blood for a living as the heroine? I would be very interested to read a full book about someone with this profession. Her particular crush is a doctor on her ward. Petite and black-haired (With jade eyes, no less), Raven is nothing like the tall, buxom, blonde nurses she sees on General Hospital. But the Cinderella spell give her the courage to wink at her crush. And he seems enchanted...Cinderella's Enchanted Night by Amber Daulton Wow. Annalise Gallagher's friends "joke" that she's a stalker. But sitting for an hour in the hot summer sun just to catch a glimpse of someone --- yeah, that's actually stalking. And creepy. She's an art framer working in the gallery across the street from her crush who is an art restorer/tour guide in a museum. Might have been a better story if it had been longer but this was not enough space for the story to be developed (or her creepiness to be offset.)

First reviewed at Keeper BookshelfEvery story in this boxed set of the entire Cinderella Body Club is enchanting. I’m sorry for that, but there truly is no other word that I want to use here. Because haven’t most little girls dreamed of growing up and being Cinderella at the ball, beautiful and with her handsome prince? You just knew beyond the swell of the ending music that happy ever afters did exist. And aren’t all of us grown up ladies still attached to that image of Cinderella?Except that reality sucks. Plain and simple sucks. What if, for one moment of belief there was a locket that if you wished hard enough while near that locket you could have your fondest wish granted – for exactly 24 hours. No more, no less. The ladies in these four stories of The Cinderella Body Club made their wishes, had their 24 hours and will have to live with the results of that “magical” time forever after. Were the lessons learned worth those 24 magical hours? Pick up this boxed set of novels and find out.You have all that you really need by reading each book’s description above to tell you the basics of each of these charming four stories of longing, magic and the dream of a happily ever after. To go beyond that for this review isn’t really necessary. Why spoil the magic for you? I would strongly recommend that you pick up this collection of all the stories and dig right in and enjoy.I’ve read each of these stories and already have or shortly will have reviewed each one individually. Each one is a unique love story that highlights each woman’s biggest fear and for that magical 24 hours allows her to ignore that fear and act as the confident woman that she truly is. I hope that you will also see that self-confidence and self-doubt are also powerful spells that we do have the ability to change for ourselves. In my opinion, these are stories that every young girl needs to read (as soon as she is of an appropriate age for them) because the truth is – the magic is within us all the time, we just have to use it properly. That’s a lesson we all could learn.*I received an e-ARC of The Cinderella Body Club Boxed Set from the publisher and NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. That does not change what I think of this novel.*

The Cinderella Body Club is a series of four books written by one of four authors (Jennifer Conner, Angela Ford, Sharon Kleve, and Amber Daulton). This series follows a day in the life of four friends who make a wish on an allegedly magic locket that will turn them into the beautiful women they’ve always longed to be. They’ll be shed of excess pounds, bad hair, skin, etc. until midnight, where they turn back into their original selves. That night, each woman wishes to be her version of Cinderella. The next day they are shocked to wake up and see that their wishes come true! Each book follows one of the four friends on their perfect day as they use their newfound beauty to pursue the men of their dreams. These books are romance novels, so I wasn’t expecting Jane Eyre or The Catcher and the Rye…but they just weren’t for me. I was glad that I was gifted to me for review purposes because I would have been a little mad at myself for wasting money on something I didn’t like.As an individual and reviewer, it’s not my place to say that an author’s work is bad or good because I don’t think that my personal preference speaks to the quality of someone’s work. I will, however, highlight the things I did not like as a reader… -These books were repetitive. They were almost all identical down to the dialogue in the beginning. Yes, they all chronicle one 24 hour period, but I thought that each author could put their own spin on each woman’s interpretation of the events. -They weren’t steamy enough. If I’m going to read a romance novel….I want it hot & heavy. These were very watered down in the those regards. -Too short. These books were quick reads (which I usually like), but they were so quick that I didn’t have time to bond with the characters and learn who they were.So while I didn’t care for these books, I know they have an audience. If you like romance that isn’t too steamy and quick reads with happy endings…these are up your alley!

Four friends make a wish to look like someone they they wished they looked like and the magical chance of a locket gives them that wish for 24 hours.Told from the perspectives of 4 different authors the magic begins with a 24 hour time limit and the confidence to take get what they want even if it only for one night.Cinderella Had It EasyCami and Lance were a sweet story.I liked the way this story was told and had enough of a good plot to easily follow.Lance was likable and made a great prince for Cami.Spellbound CinderellaRaven is a nurse and has been wanting Quinn the resident Dr for ages.Raven's last relationship left her not wanting to go through that again leaving her too shy to make the moves on Quinn. With the spell she comes out of her shell.Quinn is highly attracted to Raven and cant believe his luck when she finally takes notice of him.Well rounded easy to follow storySecond Chance CinderellaThe Employment agent and the Fashion PhotographerTess thinks Parker is way out of her league after the locket wish she gains the confidence to strike up a conversation with Parker.Parker is delightful and creative and sincere in his affection for Tess.Cinderella's Enchanted NightAnnalise the admirer from afar (Stalker) who doesn't know that Elijah has his heart set on her.The Cinderella wish gives her the courage to take charge of her feelings and put her self out there. All up I really liked the flow of the stories, I thought the repeated intros from different characters perspectives was getting a little tiresome but can still see the relevance. The characters and stories told from a different authors view was interesting however writing styles and voices did differ and some were more enjoyable than others. This is a nice easy read that will get you through till your next read.

In this take on the age-old story, the authors provide us with a great lesson about who we are vs who everyone thinks we are. Four friends, each with self-confidence shortcomings, wish on a locket to become something everyone admires and wants to be like and to have success in love. This is a great book because it shows us that we perceive ourselves in ways others often not. The wish and the locket in the book provide an excellent opportunity to finally become what each of the women wishes she were or could be—and each ends successfully. Though each only gets the wish for 24 hours, during that time, each experiences what they only dreamed of previously. I found the book fascinating and well done. I agree with other reviewers that the intros in each story were a tad boring and repetitive, but, like them I also agree they were necessary. The lesson that the four stories brought home was one I feel all of us can relate to, and the authors brought home this lesson in a truly interesting and creative way. It is not often that a “chick lit” book has such a powerful lesson. I have not read anything else by any of the authors but will look for other works by them after reading this book. I think every person who ever had doubts about himself or herself should read this one, because the message of the book is one that is uplifting and will hit home immediately. I received this from Library Thing to read and review.

The Cinderella Body Club Boxed Set by Jennifer Conner, Angela Ford, Sharon Kleve, Amber Daulton has four different Cinderellas. I enjoyed each author’s take on this fairy tale along with the twist of a few added hours; 24 instead of just until one evening until midnight. I also loved that these four are friends who find a locket that gives them each a wish. The wishes do seem to work but in reality it is self-confidence to see their own innate beauty that each of these women need, not a fairy godmother. Each story is a little different with setting, careers and personalities of the women but all share the same theme – Love and believe in yourself. I did not mind that each of the novellas used the Cinderella theme ass a jumping off place. Each of the author made the story their own as their main character took a good look at what she wanted in life and went after that goal. Not all goals remained the same as what they thought that they wanted in the beginning of their stories. That served to make these tales more individualized and realistic. Each is worth reading on its own merit.Copy provided by the publisher through Net Galley for an honest review.

This anthology is composed of four different, modern day Cinderella stories. When four friends get together for their usual Wednesday night Girl's Night, Cami brings up an interesting story her grandmother told her about a cameo necklace with a magical past. Of course, close to the end of the story, her grandmother falls asleep and never gets a chance to tell her if she'd gotten her own Cinderella happily ever after herself. Cami, Annalise, Raven, and Tess all make a wish on the magical cameo necklace in hopes that they would physically become the women they wish they were. In the process they find out they were perfect the way they were all along. It was a fun read with plenty of laughs and romance to spare. The authors do a wonderful job in combining the lives of four friends and having them go through the same experiences to realize that beauty is only skin deep. This is a great read for a day at the beach or while waiting at the doctors office. It might just give you the courage you need to talk to that special someone before your chance has passed by.

Four girls, unlucky in love, meet together to spend time together once a week. They are all bemoaning the lack of men in their lives when one of them shares a story about a lucky charm that can change a woman for 24 hours. They all decide to take a chance and wish on the charm. The next morning all four wake up to discover they have changed over night. They now have 24 hours to to find the prince of their dreams. Each author has a different writing style so the stories aren't exactly the same. Each story starts the same with the girls gathered for some wine and girl talk. So by the time I got to the end I was skipping that section of the story. The plot is predictable. I enjoy novellas, but these were too short to really get enough of a story or good character depth. This also made the girls seem cheap since each of them jumped into bed with their prince during the 24 hour period. Overall it was a light and fluffy book that someone wanting a quick read will will enjoy.I received this book free of charge from NetGalley in exchange for my honest review.

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. This was a lovely collection, and I have to say that I loved the way the authors worked together to tell individual stories while really telling four different sides to the same story. Each of the four stories were entertaining quick reads. Plus, the four main characters (the four friends that each story is about) were easy to relate to, and they were different from each other. Obviously once you read the collection you'll see ways that they are similar- but they truly are unique which is mirrored by having a different author write each woman's story. Though the stories never felt heavy, they weren't frivolous either. They dealt with important topics including self-worth. Would recommend.

*ARC through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review*I love anthologies, especially ones that are "connected"...showing different perspectives of a common event as this one does, in spades. Though the repeated intro got tiring after the first 2 times, the stories flowed well and told the Cinderella story for each of the 4 bff's in this collection. While the fantasy of waking up as a new and improved you to wow the man of your dreams appeals, the reality of being a one-day hottie is kind of really depressing. I mean, what happens after that one-day?The underlying message of you were good enough as you were is there but kind of overshadowed by the self-doubt all these heroines possessed. So a tricky balancing act for me!

The concept of this collection was a little weird but the message behind it was beautiful. I received a copy of The Cinderella Body Club Collection in exchange for an honest review. I laughed, cried and fell in love with something about each story. Jennifer Conner, Angela Ford, Sharon Kleve and Amber Daulton have the daunting task of examining how we view ourselves influences how we are seen by others. The unconventional solution a magic locket that helps them see things differently. The story is cheesy BUT inspirational. A romance wrapped in fantasy that leads to understanding. Beauty is more than just an outer shell. It's an inner feeling. A universally relevant message.

Entertaining short stories about four friends that felt like they were ugly ducklings and couldn't find their own Prince Charming. One of the girls has a locket that was given to her from her grandmother and was told that it holds special powers and you will become beautiful for one day after you make a wish using the locket. All four girls made a wish one evening during their girl's night and all woke up "beautiful" and they all went after the man they had their eye on. They discovered they are just as beautiful on the inside as they are on the outside and they just needed to see it for themselves first so that others can see it in them too. Great uplifting stories!!

Great Boxed Set!This is a great boxed set! This set is written by four different authors. There are four friends to make a wish on a locket. They all wish make a wish to be beautiful and want to be the belle of the ball “Cinderella”. Each book in this set gives us each of the four friends story. Each story is different but very sweet romance. I am looking forward to reading more books by these authors. A Review copy was provided to me in exchange for a fair and honest review. The free book held no determination on my personal review.

Repetitive and monotonous this collection of short stories based on the Cindarella fairytale. Even though this is written by several others it feels like it is written by one person and while that's not a bad thing it just doesn't feel very original. I admire the nod to self confidence and believing in yourself, but doesn't push the boundaries of self-discovery or romance for that matter. Missed opportunity.

I really liked the idea of this book. Four friends getting to be Cinderella for one day. Even if it's Thursday. But all the four stories were so very similar. There was too much repetition. And after reading one story like this I really don't want to read three more stories that have the exact same story line.
