A great book! I enjoyed the different take on the paranormal genre. The story was smooth and kept moving right along. I recommend Maxwell Demon if you are looking to change up what you've been reading.

I was given a copy exchange for my honest review. This is normally not the book I would usually pick up for myself to read but I am really glad I had the opportunity to read this. This book had so much going on maxwell who is a fallen angel also well known as the angel of redemption. Was looking for Lilith he's one love but not what you would think no he was not looking for her around town see Lilith has been reborn once again throughout the centuries as her punishment for something she had done she gets recreated until she learns and accepts the sins she has done so you see it's not that easy for Maxwell as she has gone by many names and looks different every time. For all the years and centuries he get so close to her he is always too late until now. When he does find her the adventure begins he needs to help her remember who she is, what she's done and help her redeem herself, but it's not going to be a cakewalk because not only does he have to help her remember but they need to fight off demons other angles some nasty creatures and find Liliths family the other witches. Can maxwell help Lilith remember? Can he keep her protected? Can she accept who she is? I have to say this is one of my top reads like I said there was a lot going on you felt the emotions coming from Maxwell and Lilith through the whole story you felt their desperation's their fear their love their shame and you can't help to not get emotionally attached to them so I definitely would recommend this as a great read.

With a paranormal read, I found that this book was more than a 5 star read. I was captured from page one and the pace of the read was exceptionally well done. I would also hope to read more books from this brilliant and masterfully talented Author in the near future and am shocked there are not more books readily available. Yes, I loved this book that much. The characters were will thought of which developed each one. Very easy read to follow and how everything unfolds was what truly captured my attention with the book. It is not often a book will capture me from the start to the finish or make me during a break anxious to return to it. This book did that for me and I would highly recommend this amazing book to anyone. It has a little bit of everything throughout in my opinion. Very capturing through my eyes and is an absolute must read. With that, I do not read books more than once typically, yet this happens to be one that I will read more than just a couple of times. Well done and hats off to Author L.Bachman.

Maxwell Demon by L. Bachman pulled me in from the beginning and took me along on a journey of the lifetimes. Maxwell, a fallen angel, is a well-rounded character who has been searching for many years and several reincarnations for his true love, Lilith. Each time she has returned, he is unable to help her and loses her again, only to begin his search over. When he finds her this time, he is determined to save her, no matter what it takes – even if it takes them to the depths of Hell.Ms. Bachman weaves a spell with her words, transporting her readers into another dimension, showing them the scenes through the eyes and minds of her characters. A great book for young adults by an author who has burst onto the scene with a story that haunts me to this day. I expect and look forward to many more amazing journeys taken down the path created by her pen.

I have read a lot of books in my time, and only a handful have I felt a connection to the characters. I had to keep reading so I could find out how what happened to Maxwell and Adele. This is rare in books these days so to find this level of deep character development is a treasure. I highly recommend this book to anyone if you are looking for a book you will not be able to put down until you know what happens in the end! Thank you for sharing this with the world, L. Bachman and keep the greatness coming!

This is the first thing I've read from this author and I have to say that I think it's amazing. The fact you have angels, werewolves, witches, vampires, and some fallen angels (who are trying to remain good and not give in to the darker side) fighting together against demons is something I've never read before. This isn't your run-of-the-mill angel against demon book. This is new, refreshing. I'd highly recommend this work to everybody.

A great hope-filled book that touched me. I really enjoyed this tale overall I honestly wish there was more though. The story moved really fast that I felt like I was missing out on both the characters and their story. I wanted more detail and depth but other than that the story was good. I'd definitely recommend this to reads looking for a sweet adventure and hope-filled book. I received a copy in exchange for an honest review.

Maxwell Demon tells a story of angels and demons; love and reincarnation. Not just second chances but thousands to finally understand what sin was committed the first time. Maxwell searches for Lilith, now born as Adele, to save her soul. This paranormal story takes us on a wild adventure. With witches, fairies, vampires, werewolves, angels, demons and so much more the thrill ride is never-ending. The author's imagination will stimulate your senses and make you crave more. The characters are well rounded, the story fluid from beginning to end. There was a scene that reminded me a bit of Lord of the Rings while this author could easily be in a category with Koontz or King. You absolutely should buy this book. Oh so worth it!

I was lucky enough to win a copy of this book at an online event. This author is a top-notch writer. There’s a Dantean flavour to this novel with its angels, demons and monsters, and the strange many-layered realms they inhabit. The author has created a classical setting for her characters and the colourful imagery and natural dialogue add to the realism of the narrative. The reader can fully sympathise with the struggles of the main characters and no struggle is more anguished than that of fallen angel Maxwell who has loved Lilith for a thousand years and must now save her soul from utter damnation. This is powerful stuff and the author must be congratulated for the fluency and sophistication of her writing.

My Five Star Review for “Maxwell Demon”Written by L. BachmanWhere do I start? How do I do such a great story justice in a review? I really don’t know how to write this review effectively for my fellow readers. This story is about a timeless love. This story is about angels, fallen angels, demons and even their offspring. Heaven and hell plus all the dimensions in between. Redemption is the driving force for the main character Maxwell. However redemption not just for his soul but for all those fallen angels that fell with him. Maxwell’s soul mate is “Adele” who is a perpetual incarnation of “Lilith” and each time she is reborn Maxwell searches for Adele for many reasons but the largest reason is to help Adele remember her memories and the love they shared. Maxwell is a demon, was an Angel who fell from the light of his “mother’ and “father”. Maxwell believes if he becomes redeemed and helps Adele his true love then all those fallen angels can have new hope by the precedent Maxwell sets. This author takes all we know about white witches and dark witches, fairies and all the other fae folk and creates a flowing story that is vibrant and imaginative that swept me away. I cried during some scenes and almost threw my kindle in other scenes and even dropped my kindle on my face because I wouldn’t go to sleep because I didn’t want to leave this fantastic world the author created. There were some demons beyond redemption that fought to kill Adele and stop Maxwell and Gabriel (and angel and close friend) from achieving their task. This whole time throughout the story was Maxwell’s overwhelming love for Adele and her reemerging love for him. Intense fighting scenes with swords, armor and demons and angels that was a near constant for the three main characters. Some Fallen angels accepted their lives as demons and wanted no redemption and that was the overriding factor that constantly caused strife towards the three main characters. I enjoyed the Lilith/Adele portrayal and I found myself being introspective of my own moral and spiritual core beliefs. The end of this novel shocked me but at the same time I was moved to joyful tears. I plan on reading this novel again and soon because I think I may have missed a few things lol.
