Good book on mentoring - his other version - Cry for Spiritual Mothers and Daughters -was better because it was more succinct. More books need to be written on mentoring, so this isnt a bad start - just isnt written very well.

Started off well, but got repetitive by the end. Seemed like the last half was just a re-hash of the first, using different terminology.Overall it encouraged and challenged me in the area of mentoring, it probably just didn't need to be as long as it was to make the points it did.

The concept of mentoring others needs to catch on in the church. This is a good starting place for those who have not considered the idea before. It provides a foundation on which to build.
