The Brotherhood Motorcycle Club has its hands in everything from guns to drugs to whores and Blytheville's under its thumb. Finn is determined to steer clear of the club and its members. Saint lives every moment with his back against the wall, juggling secrets and hiding the truth. The moment he sees Finn, his carefully crafted life begins to unravel and he's helpless to resist the attraction that flares between them. “Is something wrong?” Finn asked carefully and Saint’s eyes were large and turbulent when they flicked to Finn’s. “God damn it,” Saint gasped as he rushed at Finn. “What?” Finn jumped and took a few steps back before Saint’s hands locked around Finn’s face. Saint’s eyes were wild as his mouth collided with Finn’s and he growled as his tongue swept past Finn’s lips. Saint was ruthless and hungry. His tongue thrust and probed urgently and Finn could only hang on as he was thrown back. His hands clung to Saint’s shoulders as complete shock and a little fear flooded Finn’s brain. Saint groaned as one hand slid through Finn’s hair and cupped the back of his head and the other wrapped around Finn’s neck. Saint angled his head, taking the kiss deeper and heat and need exploded. Finn locked an arm around Saint’s neck and the taste of mint and wind had his nerves flickering. Saint pulled back and another hoarse growl tore from his throat as he pushed Finn’s t-shirt up his chest and whipped it over his head. Finn blinked, dazed and breathless, then hissed when Saint’s lips and tongue attacked the corner of his neck. “You smell so good,” Saint panted as his hands roamed over Finn’s chest and stomach. They were rough, covered with callouses and huge as they gripped and slid over Finn’s body frantically while his teeth grazed Finn’s skin. “What is that?” He asked and Finn forced his eyes open as he tried to remember. “It’s a beeswax and jojoba based apothecary blend I order from New York,” he said and Saint raised his head. “What?” He asked as his head pulled back in confusion. Finn shook his head. “Never mind,” he said as he reached for Saint and pulled his lips to his. Finn’s fingers dug into Saint’s hair and he tugged at the elastic band and hummed in delight as it slipped off and Saint’s hair fell. It was warm and feathery soft against the backs of Finn’s hands and the smell of shampoo filled Finn as he sucked on Saint’s lower lip. There was a soft grunt and Finn was pinned against the wall and his eyes flared as the hard heat of Saint’s erection pressed against the corner of Finn’s thigh. Saint’s hands wrapped around Finn’s ass and he ground his hips as he groaned Finn’s name. Then, those large hands locked around Finn’s shoulders, holding Finn against the wall as Saint stepped back. His eyes were dark and hard as they poured into Finn’s before they slid down Finn’s body. “Son of a bitch,” Saint complained under his breath and Finn looked down and frowned. Aside from a very serious and obvious hard-on pushing against the front of his sweatpants, Finn couldn’t see anything remarkable about his appearance. “Is something wroooohhh…” The question turned into a moan when Saint grabbed the front of Finn’s pants and boxers and tugged them down, releasing Finn’s pulsing length. Saint shook his head but his eyes were locked on Finn’s cock....

OK, I had some serious issues with this one.First, there was waaaay too much sex, not enough getting to know you. How do you fall in love when you only fuck?Second, detailed on page sex between one of the MCs and someone NOT the other MC. Even worse, it was detailed, pages long sex, between MC2 and his girlfriend. I do NOT read M/M books for explicit M/F sex. I wouldn't have minded it if it hadn't been detailed, but it was. I hate sex between anyone who isn't the main relationship in a book, it just takes away from the romance for me.Third, I felt like Finn really had no self respect. He just kept letting Saint keep coming back.Fourth, the last 20% was a huge info dump about who "Saint" really was, details that I, frankly, didn't need at this point in the story. It was enough knowing that he was (view spoiler)[ undercover FBI, and smart as hell.(hide spoiler)] I didn't need to know about his family, their kids, and his sister in the Air Force.Fifth, and yes, it kinda made sense, but Jamie and Saint were entirely TOO different, and, sad to say, I preferred Saint. Yes, Saint was a bad boy, and Jamie was his good guy side, but Saint just had an edge, and Jamie was all sap, IMO. Plus, I HATED that Saint/Jamie (view spoiler)[ cut all that beautiful hair!(hide spoiler)] That image kept me going through the whole story!

(view spoiler)[ There was way too much detailed on-page m/f sex. You don't read an m/m book to read about a guy and a girl having sex especially if one of them is the MC. That's just in bad taste and took away from the story. A. Lot. IMO there was no relationship left to salvage regardless of the circumstances the MC found himself in. (hide spoiler)]

Sweet baby cheeses this book gave me grey hairs! For about 50% it was angsty and although it was incredibly hot, I was freaking the fuck out that something would go horribly wrong. I had my suspicions for a potential plot twist and phew is all I can say! This was another brilliant book by K. Sterling and her writing gets better and better with each book I read. The last chapters to this story are well worth the angst and frustration alone. These guys are definitely up there with my favourite couples, in any genre. It was such a well deserved HEA. K. Sterling has been a breath of fresh air for me and her stories are automatic buys. I couldn't recommend these enough. I couldn't stop to review, I had to move onto the next book straight away. Even now I'm anxious to get back to it!

Really didn't care for this one. Normally I love K Sterling's distinctive style, and this had that (complete with hot sex and neck corners), by it still missed the mark for me. There wasn't enough relationship development between Saint and Finn and there was too much Rose and Saint (wayyyy too much). It was all physical and surface. Ymmv, of course.(Had to change my rating. It was bugging me that I went so low so I moved it up to 3)

I actually loved all the books I've read by K. Sterling but this one... Nope! The first 60% made me so upset with the "situation" with Rose, i hated it. The story after the raid was ok though and the ending with the kitty was cute.

oh my god - I did survive the experience though it may take a while for my spine and heart to recover.Imagine being held in the jaws of a vice, and every page, a turn of the screw, until you just can't take it anymore but there is more - and when you feel that your spine is going twist out of the top of head, your heart explode out of your chest - you get some kind of relief as you drown in a vat of red wine into which a hundred thousand pearls have been dissolved ...Gripping, hot and unrelenting - I couldn't bear to read it but I had no choice and I wanted it to stop and yet I had to carry on.I'm off to the chiropractor and then I'm checking into a spiritual retreat to regroup.Excellent job, KS!Alp

Very erotic book with good emotional intimacy as well. MM romance readers may be turned off by the explicit on-page sex one lead has to have with his girlfriend. I think the same result could have been had without the explicit MF (almost rape) sex. But what prevents me from giving this short novel 4 stars is the rushed ending. Without spoiling the book, Finn has to get to know the other lead again. This felt very rushed and forced for me. I know it was for Finn as the book mentions it and it was just as awkward for this reader. Introducing Finn's mother at the same time served to shortchange the ending even more.

Sadly didn't do much for me, although the sex was pretty hot. The storey was predictable (saw the 'surprise' coming from a mile away). Not really put off by some of what Saint did as others are - under the circumstances it was understandable. The last 20% was fun and wouldn't mind seeing a little follow up with these two now that things are settled.

This was great, and the plot twist was well done and something I didn't see coming at all. However, I felt very disconnected to the characters after the said plot twist. I think it just felt rushed and there was no room to breathe as the author rushed to reach the conclusion.

Title: Falling for DisasterAuthor:K. SterlingGenre: M/M Contemporary RomancePlot Summary:Finn’s fiancee cheated on him, gave him an STD, and then kicked Finn out their shared apartment. Devastated, Finn moves to a small town to start over as a highschool history teacher. He doesn’t care about hostile homophobic attitude the town has since he has no intentions on having a relationship ever again.Saint is in the local motorcycle gang. Outlaw motorcycle gang to be exact. Hides that he is gay by shacking up with his president’s sister. It’s been working well for him… until Finn. The first time Saint sees Finn, he knows he is willing to risk everything to touch him.Despite sizzling chemistry, Saint tries his best to keep his interactions with Finn to strictly sexual, but the two have more in common than a history teacher and an outlaw biker should. In fact, there are numerous things about Saint that don’t add up. More and more secrets keep piling up to help drown any potential happiness these two could have.Character Descriptions/Development: 4 stars Nothing majorly unique about either character. Finn was the typical jilted boyfriend getting over his ex. He had depth, and an insane amount of loyalty and devotion, he just wasn’t different enough to stand out for me.In essence, you have to learn two other characters (view spoiler)[ Saint, and then Jamie, once Saint reveals he is an undercover FBI agent, and his real name is Jamie(hide spoiler)]. It was really disjointed for me because of that break.Storyline/Conflict: 3 starsThe main issue is that Saint and Finn can never be open, because the club would kill them both. Because of that Saint continuously pushes Finn away, hurting him all the time. The two need to straighten out their own feelings, and deal with all the secrets that Saint is hiding.Writing Style:4 starsAs usual with K. Sterling I have no complaints other than those mentioned. For a smaller author, everything is edited well and the dialogue/story flows well.Heat: 5 stars Smoking. At first, it’s all about hot and dirty and quick because they are hiding. As Saint starts developing feelings, it turns more intimate. Favorite Quote:Kind of a spoiler, it’s ridiculously romantic, but read at your own risk.(view spoiler)[ “You were completely wrong for me and I was starting to accept that I was falling in love with someone I didn’t really like and respect. A few weeks ago I was hoping there was some way we could live together secretly. I was ready to commit to a dismal existence with someone I was sure had been in prison and would eventually go back. I had visions of skeevy conjugal visits and us pressing our hands together over plexiglass,” [Finn] explained as he walked into Jamie’s waiting arms. (hide spoiler)]

Alright.... First, my heart broke for Finn.... His boyfriend was a douche... I kind of wish he'd got a more karmatic kick in the teeth than he did because he was just cold and heartless when it came to Finn. I didnt like that, then Finn moves in the middle of BFE to hide away from all that and he meets Saint. Saint is a brother in "The Brotherhood" motorcycle club and he's rough and raw and mean and ...straight.... except, he isn't.He's got a good cover, dating the sister of the clubs president Rose, she seems like a nice girl and Saint has kept that part of himself hidden, the part that likes men that is, for the last 3 years, but when he see's Finn he has to get to know him better. Faking a bike breakdown on the side of the road next to Finn's house gave him his in, and he just kept going back for more... The first half of the book I swear I felt for Saint but I hated him at the same time. He was hurting Finn more and he didn't deserve it. You could kind of tell that he felt horrible for doing it but it didn't really matter when he went right back to Rose.... I can't stand cheating in stories, I dunno why this one didn't hit me as hard as others normally do, maybe because you could see how badly he hated doing it and maybe because we knew how much he cared about Finn... but that almost made it worse didn't it? I dunno....But wow, when everything took a turn and Jamie came into play... well... that was hot, and sweet and I was so happy Finn was finally getting what he deserved. Jamie was almost like another person, who cried and felt and wasn't afraid to let Finn in. I really really really liked him.I didn't at all see that coming and I was so worried when I kept getting closer to the end and didn't see how it was gonna work out between them.... BUT it all went perfectly and I loved every second of the second half of this book and it ended so sweet.Loved it!

Really only 3.5In spite of all the frequent, trope-y, cliche plot lines, I enjoy K. Sterling's books. I liked this overall, simply because it is a romance with a happy, sappy ending, and sometimes I just need that. She did try to get a little more suspenseful or exciting with this story. Unfortunately, that's where it failed.SPOILERS AHEADAs soon as the motorcycle gang theme came into sight, I could figure out Saint's role. His rather sudden pursuit and Finn's capitulation was ridiculous but not unexpected for the style of the author. Saint being that involved with Rose was a little beyond belief. I don't know much about deep undercover ops, so maybe it was "normal", but living together, too? The totally unnecessary M/F sex scenes dropped the first star for me. If I wanted to see that, I'd go back to reading het romance. Rose's acceptance of Saint and Finn and his actions towards her were far too easy and simple. If she was in love with Saint, there'd at least have been some drama.Next was the fact that it dragged a lot. Nothing was going on anywhere except Saint and Finn having sex. Pretty hot sex, until it became far too repetitive. But there was no action, no interaction between Saint and the club, minimal scenes of Finn at his teaching job. Then, after the non-event of the big reveal, Saint turned into Jamie, who no longer seemed anywhere near his forties, more like early twenties. He really didn't sound like a forty-something man before, either. Finn's character was more consistent but also somewhat immature. The epilogues were fun and sweet. So even though I had lots of negative views on the way the story was written, I still liked it. It was a simple story, a romance grew and there was an HEA. Simple and silly has its place too.

This book was not great, and not for the reasons most seem to have. I actually liked Saint and I didn't really think he was an arsehole like some people seem to, I thought he came across as really soft, and nowhere near the demeanor of a biker member, how he passed as such I couldn't fathom. I didn't really like Finn, there was nothing glaringly special about him in my opinion. I saw the twist coming and preyed it wouldn't, I kinda wanted Saint to go all cave man and protect his man, but alas he became even more soft. The sex scenes were a little lackluster, and I could have done without the m/f sex scenes. This should happen off the page people!!!!!All up a disappointing read that I ended up giving up on at 90%1.5 very unsatisfied stars from me.

I liked this book. The beginning was interesting and though this is not really a long story I was intrigued. The story had conflict, although mildly so, and a surprising ending. I was able to get into the story and the author gave me just enough information to wonder where Finn woul fall with the big biker. Their first encounter was good but not great and left me sort of disappointed. When it came to the ending, it did seem rushed. It wouldn't be a read that I would recommend to run out and buy, but if you get in a moment where you feel like you have read all the great books and waiting for the sequel to those, read this.

I really would've given this 5 stars but it puttered out at the end. I still enjoyed it immensely! I wanted an angsty story and this fit the bill! Plus it was smoking hot! The sex scenes weren't repetitive which was one issue I had while reading one of K Sterlings other books. After the whole climax the angst was over and then it was too "nice" for me. I skimmed through the 2 epilogues. Yes, 2!! I still would recommend this. One spoiler though....there is "cheating".

Loved this story of Saint and FinnThis was such a great book because I never had a clue about the ending! Saint was such a biker dude and Finn was his total opposite, a teacher and a gentle hurt man, and it was so dangerous for them to get together. The characters were perfect and I was sad that the story ended!
