Four and one half starsOne of those books you wish were a bit longer....interesting mystery, a touch of humor and characters you believe as well as like. A first rate story.

Can't wait for #3Good character development and storyline flows quickly. Enough to twists to keep pages turning. A satisfying second novel and hints for the next one

Again, a great read. The next time I begin a Kidera book I will definitely and assuredly start to read it in the early morning hours. No phones no doorbells will be answered so I may finish before midnight. I desperately need a good night's sleep. From the first page to the last, one cannot put it down. I'm thinking of starting a survival group. How best to schedule sleep and food breaks while reading a Robert D. Kidera book.

Better Than The First BookThis book is better than the first offering. The characterization is excellent and the story moves at a blistering pace. Gabe McKenna is more sympathetic in this story and the overall tale was well developed. I will be looking forward to the next adventure. I'm glad I took a chance on the second book in the series.

A continued story of 1st bookAlthough the Red Gold mystery story had a finish there was a hint that it might continue, as this one does. Thankfully you are not left knowing what happened to characters and story concept.

The second Gabe McKenna mystery even better than the first. Wonderful atmosphere, well written dialogue, and a tightly written plot. Throughly enjoyed reading it.

OkayTo much going on, hard to keep track of all the characters. Not really my cup of tea. To disjointed.
