4.5 The Devil’s Highway Stars - ❤ Audible Review HERE ❤This world is so vivid and so alive to me. This is not like any of the books I normally read and I am so hooked its crazy. I want to hug some of the characters and high five them sometimes I want to slug someone. I am just so invested. I am also so saddened, I am not going to give spoilers but I want no I need the next book soon! Each chapter is like an adventure in this world you can’t wait to get to and each time you’re surprised at how much you want more. Loving the action that goes in to this story and how I feel about it after. Wen Ross again killed it, these characters are vast and I love that Wen can make me feel like I am never confused who is in the speaking role. Love that. *You don't have to like my review but its 100% my opinion, and I am allowed to have it.*

O.M.G this book has the perfect title. It’s a long road of twist and turns and you never know where Golden Czermak is going to take you next. Are they going to find their friend alive? Is Dajjal going to take over the world? Why don’t the Sheridan Brothers get along?? The story pulls you in and you can’t stop reading it. 5 Stars are never enough for this Author. I am impatiently waiting for the next book already. If you are looking for a great adventure, join us.

When I started this series I was expecting some good stories from Golden. He was a first time author after all with Homeward Bound so I knew each book would improve. I will be honest I expected it to be good in the beginning not great. I mean what first time author really puts out a five star book with their first release. I was surprised that's exactly what Golden did with Homeward Bound. Just when you didn't think it could get better it has with Seal of Solomon and then Made To Suffer each better than the previous one. No way he could top Made to Suffer right? WRONG!!When I started The Devil's Highway I knew after the first chapter, how wrong I was about the series getting even better. By the time I had read five chapters I had my first ugly cry and was completely overwhelmed with emotions. Honestly, I wasn't sure if I loved or hated Golden. The description and details are so ASTONISHING, the rollercoaster ride of emotions unbelievable. I laughed, cried and yelled while reading this book, every possible emotion you could ever imagine. The action and adventure are absolutely perfect after all Gage and the Journeyman are in a fight for their lives and the lives of the entire world. Dajjal isn't going to make it easy for them he is the most DIABOLICAL character I have ever in countered and losing isn't an option for him in his mind!!! I can't wait to see what is in store for us with the next installment of this series. Will they all survive Dajjal evilness and cunning nature? Will Gage and The Journymen be successful in their quest to save the world? Will we meet more Journeyman and Demons? So many questions still left unanswered. I was given this book for a honest review.

Golden has done it again! Every time I read the next book, it's like going on a new adventure with old friends! After Made To Suffer I was left a blubbering mess. I had to mentally prepare myself to read this book. The story continues where we left off and we had some heartbreaking moments. I had to take a mental break after reading the first few chapters. Why do you torture us so Golden?! Every time I had high hopes you would pull the rug from under me! I'm still holding out for hope when it comes to Dajjal! Each story just keeps getting better and better. As always the description to detail is amazing. I honestly get sucked into the story and it feels like a movie playing out before my eyes. I loved the addition of the Frost Giants in this story. Those scenes were some of my favorites. I don't know how Czermak comes up with these ideas and concepts but I love them!! And let's talk about that ending!! I have a theory and I'm hoping to see if I'm correct! I can't wait for the next book to see how the story unfolds. Well done Czermak and thank you for always keeping me on my toes and sucking me into the Journeymen World! *an arc was given for an honest review*For more reviews check me out at: http://www.shellysbookcorner.com

If you like all things paranormal, then this is the book for you!!! This is Golden's first book series, but you'd never know it by how well it's written. The descriptions are well worded and very vivid. The creatures are interesting, the fight scenes are action packed, and the weapons are sharp and to the point(hehe pun intended). This is book 4 of 6 in the Journeyman series. This is a MUST READ for all you paranormal people!!!

I keep asking myself where does Golden think of the ideas where his cast takes him? After two days of completing The Devil's Highway, I'm still speechless. The way he writes, it feels like I'm right along the whole JM crew trying to get the Crown of Immortality. So many emotions when I read The Devil's Highway. And a lot of action scenes to go along with. Dijjal is one mean ole demon. And he has evil, twisted ways of torture. And then we see another side. It takes a lot for me to shed a tear but they flowed at certain parts of the book where Joey was concerned. I thoroughly enjoyed TDH. I didn't want it to end. So captured with the story and rooting for all the JM. And then I know we are getting another good book to come when you read the last paragraph of the epilogue.. of god I want the next book NOW. Looks like we are in for a ride!5 starsReceived arc for an honest review

This series keeps getting better and better with each new book. Golden Czermak has created a world with such amazing characters that you can't help but be pulled in and begging for more. Thru every high and low these characters make you feel as if you are there with them as part of this epic journey. Gage and Adrienne the power couple badasses shining thru as Marcus and Joey's bond is put to a heart wrenching test. The appearance of Ty Sheridan in this book only makes it all even better. Journey to another world in search of the remaining relics to help defeat the evil Nortics lurking in the dark and To send Dajjal back to hell where he belongs.

I'm actually giving a 4.5 rating. The further we get into this story I just get more and more pumped up and cannot believe what's going on. Dajjal keeps you guessing and I absolutely love it. We're given answers to some questions but right behind are even more questions and I love that it's killing me that I don't know what's to come next. We're in such a great journey that keeps you on your toes because you don't want to miss a thing. This is such a great series. This is my unbiased and voluntary review.

And the adventure continues!!!The hunt is on for the final 2 treasures. We were left last time with Joey being taken by Dajjal. This book follows on with the Journeyman plotting to get Joey back and find the final treasures the Crown of Immortality and Deaths Scythe. These books are so action packed i don't know where to start! i don't want to give spoilers at all because these books are a must read! You need to read them!! They're extremely action packed we go from one thing to another. First there's trying to rescue Joey. I won't say whether or not they get him back but chapter 5 may leave you a little queasy to say the least! Then there are separate missions going on. Traveling to other worlds to find the two missing treasures. This time around they're in search of the Crown of Immortality. We also get lots of other perspectives including again Dajjal but also Botis the Hells Knight, Kahli and even death himself!I'm really enjoying this series so much. Its very different to other books out there at the moment more of an adventure romp than a romance.I'm not much of a paranormal fan but these have grabbed me! I do have to admit that it takes me longer to read these books because of the wording i have to really concentrate on it to know whats going on but seasoned PNR readers should be fine with it.There are twists and turns at every corner and i sometimes feel like covering my eyes for fear of whats coming next! There's fights and gore and suspense and fun! I love it!!! There's two more books to find out if good will triumph over evil. Two more books to find out if there is any good in evil or evil in good! who knows!! Not me! lolI would highly recommend this series!5 "Will Joey survive" stars!!!Books 2 Blog

Voluntarily leaving a review. Golden Czermack has done it one more time. He pulls you into the story and continues to take you on an amazing journey. I was given more twists and turns along with absolute creativity when it came to the scenes that unfold. Have you ever walked into an art gallery and you felt like you were in awe of the portraits that were displayed in front of you? This journeyman series is like that for me. I am taken away to a museum of words. If you look at a painting directly you see one thing but if you turn ever so slightly you can be pulled into a scene from a different angle. These characters are ones that you develop a relationship with and get so involved in what they are doing you try to get back to where you are suppose to be for a moment. The words that are written in this series are the words of true artistry not only in words but in visualization. I enjoy a great work of art and I must say that when I dive into a book by Golden Czermack that is what he gives me each and every time. A precious and gorgeous work of art. Well done!YaYa at Sinful Swag and Sass

Everytime I finish the books in this series, I think they can't get any better. And then I'm wrong again. I still think Made to Suffer was my favorite but this one was so emotionally packed and had all the feels of being on the edge of your seat hoping everything came out alright. Gage and his affection for Adrienne always makes me warm inside, I love them! Marcus is different in this one, considering all he's been through but he's still one of my favorite characters. And Joey!! What can I say about him? He's amazing and I hope he continues to shine in the next few books :)

Golden Czermak wrote another winner here with, "The Devil's Highway!" This is the fourth book in the series of "The Journeyman," we find Gage Crosse and his friends battling it out against fierce demons and ice creatures and trying to save the life of a dear friend. Gage Crosse is a fierce Journeyman that never turns down a battle or gives up on a friend. Dajjal is a Hell knight that really gets under Gage's skin and they continue their fight in this story. Read this book including the series that Golden wrote it is phenomenal in my words.....

Gage and his team must race against time, searching for a beloved teammate who is held in the barbaric clutches of the Noctis.Meanwhile, Dajjal has entered frozen wastes beyond the Door in the Mountain, searching for the Crown of Immortality. The inhabitants of that realm are unwilling to part with their greatest treasure, challenging the demon to take it by force. He gladly agrees.Deep in the shadows, other powers long neutral are now hard at work, watching the events along The Devil’s Highway with great interest. And once again Golden Czermak has shown me that I am in fact a fan of paranormal/fantasy books.Prior to this series it was rare for me to touch anything PNR and certainly not fantasy, but this author changed that. Now I eagerly await the teasers, the next blub, the next book in this series because I am well and truly hooked.Journeyman #4 has the team on the hunt to get Joey back. They are assisted by others on this journey while Dajjal comes face to face with failure and the possibility of losing his life. There's so much going on in book four. Seeing what happens with Joey made me cringe, I wanted to beg for his suffering to end. I'm not sure where the author comes up with this stuff, there's a very dark corner of his mind that loves to make us squirm. As always the brash yet lovable Gage keeps us on our toes with his banter and snark, while Marcus comes to terms with his grief and it turns to anger and the need to avenge Joey.I may never tire of this series, and though I know it must come to an end I know I'll miss the journey but I do look forward to the end, I'll just have to re-read the series again and again!

This series is a paranormal /fantasy readers dream come true. It has anything and everything you can imagine. But these beast and beings are not just thrown in there to amuse us, they are intricate parts of the story. Each is added to enhance and move the story forward. The long journey/mission this group is on is rough and riddled with obstacles at every turn. Nothing comes easy! The way the story is told we see multiple aspects of the search for magical items from both sides, those looking to use them for good and those wanting them for bad. I am loving it!!!Thank goodness it wasn't long in before the horrific cliffhanger from the last book was somewhat rectified but not before putting us through a chapter of gruesome torture, my poor Joey. My heart hurts waiting for the gang to save our friend!Once again we have a battle so descriptive that you see it as you read it. You are right there living it, feeling it. I swear I flinched a few times.Another Oh Sh#t ending! Leaving me dying in anticipation for the next one.

5 It Keeps Getting Better and Better Stars!!Reviewed by Franci NeillYet again Golden has surpassed my expectations for a book. Why I'm surprised I'm not quite sure because this man is truly a prolific author. The way he draws the reader into a story is mesmerizing. I thought I can't cry again during one of his books, but I was wrong! This book picks up right where we left off in MTS and there were times that I wanted to put my kindle down, you know, so I could get something done, but alas it was almost impossible to do. Well, OMG! Golden has done it again! This new installment of the Journeyman Series is as good as the last. You will be taken in a rollercoaster of emotions, from despair to exhilaration, from deep worry to deep sharing, from love to hate and into the unexpected adventures and amazing battles. This book has it all and will leave you looking for more.As I’ve said before, I’m not a fan of PNR and I don’t think the author has managed to convert me, but the way he touches into fantasy and mythology keep me on the expectation of where he’s going next.Once again, Golden’s writing style has manage to captivate me and take me deep into the world of the Journeymen and I’m more than anxiously waiting for the next books to come out.4.5 stars*An ARC was given in exchange for an honest review*

Another great story from the mind of a man whom I have come to admire very much.Gage and his team are racing against time, searching for a beloved teammate who is not being held by the Noctis, and Dajjal has entered the wastes beyond the Door in the Mountain, and has to take something by force as the inhabitants will not part with it, not that Dajjal has a problem with that anyway. In the shadows now are other powers that were neutral for a long time, they are watching the events occurring along the Devils highway with great interest.

What can't I say about this books (and series) that every one else hasn't said already? Golden yet again takes you on another adventure with Gage, Ady, Marcus, and Joey. There are twists and turns as you find out the events of this book. And it all ends with a twist at the end, making you want the next book. I had to come up for air multiple times throughout it all. I was nervous, scared, thrilled, and released at various parts of the story. Golden is an author to definitely watch for.

Golden has done it again!! I don’t know how he does it. I really don’t. That head of his is filled with so many thoughts and ideas and I, for one, am very happy he decided to share them with us.Something I love about this series is that each book in the series is so different from the others. Of course, we have the imagination, action, adventure, romance, and intensity that we had in the other books. But I feel like this book, for me, had a more emotional side to it. I think that may be because I am invested in certain characters at this point. I feel for them. I am rooting for them. I want certain people to prevail and be ok. I want to talk so much about the story but I can’t spoil it for you!!! I will say this.My emotions were all over. All over. If you read my review of Book 3, Made to Suffer, you know that I absolutely loved Dajjal after reading that book. Like I could not believe I loved the bad guy. Well, I’m not loving him so much anymore. That romance was short lived. This man is determined to take over and stop the Journeymen and I don’t like it anymore!!! Ok, I know that sounds childish but I don’t. I know that’s part of the story. But he things he has done to certain people and the things he is responsible for- yeah- he can go away now.A big part of this story is Joey. I wish I could say more about all of that but my heart has a soft spot for him after this book.As always, we have the creative, detailed and descriptive writing that we have come to know and love from Golden. It makes it all so realistic and vivid. And I cannot believe I am saying this- and maybe it is just me- but if you know me, you know I don’t like violence. But I feel like there was more violence in this book. And for some reason I liked it. It made it really fun.I really love this series. It’s so exciting and so much fun to read. It never gets boring- all the twists and turns keep it exciting and entertaining. I really do believe the books keep getting better and better! Not surprising, another incredible story by the author we love to hate, Golden Czermak. Secretly, I think he absolutely enjoys making his readers feel intense emotions, making them squirm, and secretly I think he giggles at all the readers who express their hatred to what his story telling does to them. These things alone just really make me love his writing style that much more and really make me adore him. He doesn’t disappoint with his writing in this book, he is incredibly detailed, very blunt, and doesn’t sugarcoat the details.Let’s talk details and descriptions for a minute. This book is packed FULL of descriptions that will make your mind spin with wonder as you try to figure out how he generates so many detailed descriptions, characters, and scenery. It’s absolutely amazing. This story will require your attention a little bit more, in my opinion, to the detail and the characters, and the story line. It is easy to get lost if your mind is distracted and not fully into the story, but just as easy to re-read a little bit and when it sinks in, you’ll get that ahha moment.I secretly (well obviously not so secretly since I’m admitting it to you now) love what Golden is doing to his readers. I love how he has us so wrapped into the story and the characters that the smallest details will make you hold your breath until the next sentence, or paragraph, and sometimes even the next chapter. I love that he makes me want more, makes me crave more, and sometimes it makes me demand more. Please, go check out his work. Start with book 1, Homeward Bound, and get ready for a journey. Get yourself some Kleenexes, an adult drink, and snuggle down for a great story! You’ll be happy you did.Independent reviewer for Archaeolibrarian I Dig Good Books.* A copy of this book was provided to me with no requirements for a review. And we meet again...Mr. Czermak had brought the 4th installment of the Journeyman Series to us with only 2 more books to go. Now if you are all caught up, you know how heartbroken we all are about our sweet, nerdy, OJ loving man being held by Dajjal. I will not give you many details as I refuse to giveaway the awesomeness that is Gage, Ady, Marcus, Joey, Dajjal, Botis and more. In this book you will be on the edge of your seat, yelling at our heroes, wishing you had a way to fast forward so you can get to Joey yourself! I have found myself thoroughly enjoying the introduction of new characters on both sides of the battle as well as other "beings" who aren't really on either side at all. I will admit, I still have this bizarre fascination with Dajjal, the demon we all love to hate (or hate to love) and in this story Boris had a similar effect on me. He is one of the Knights of Hell, yet Golden has written him in a way that he brings out these feelings of sympathy and understanding in the reader. Our heroes are still loving, laughing and fighting the good fight. By the end, some questions are answered, some characters are no more, new characters are introduced and we are left waiting for the day when books 5 and 6 are released. Oh yes, you read that right Then Hell Followed and Running on Empty are being released the SAME day! So all i have to say is COME ON JANUARY 30! Golden, can you please make it January 30 tomorrow?Review by Cara

Having read paranormal for many years now, it is harder and harder to find a series that will keep me right with it right away when it comes out. It is that matter of gotta have it or else while others is I will get to it when I come across it to many out there. The novel thing too about this one is it comes from a newbie whom by now I would say can not own that because his writing is the caliber of a extremely talented longer standing one. I felt as if I hid in the hidden area of the machine they travel in sometimes to wait for it to continue. He rolls us right into it as if we just took a rest for a minute the drama continues accelerating intensely now with him probably gleefully smiling that he has us all by the neck. Another beloved in danger with us biting at the nails on his outcome all the while Dajjal doing what he does best to get what he wants. So much happening it is a wonder it could be contained in here. Actually this author has us on his highway from his mind ,gassed with heat ready at any second to blow us away to the shadows if we do not watch out. Treasures hunts are so competitive and dangerous in reality why not even more so here lol. Well he has had his fun batting us around again leaving us sucked dry, battered and bruised until we meet again.

The Journeyman Series by Golden Czermak is an interesting and fantastic read. I'm typically not into many paranormal novels, but this series captured me in chapter one in the first book, Homeward Bound. It only kept getting harder and harder to put down throughout all the books. Golden's writing skills completely pull you into his words, you are able to see all if his words come to life vividly in his mind. The fourth book, The Devil's Highway, started off intense. After Made to Suffer had me stressed out over the outcome of Joey, and what Gage was going to do to find him. This book ended up being very action packed and I loved every minute of this read. So many more obstacles were being thrown at Gage, things he had to face, knowing he was unable to give up. He has so many people counting on him and that he had to protect. And of course they have yet to realize that Dajjal may have another player in the game. Someone that wants him out and to take over this new battle. This making things only more complicated for everyone involved. I can't wait for books five and six to come out and continue with this newfound love for Paranormal books by Golden Czermak.

What a way to start! straight into the action !And it doesn’t stop there! There is seriously so much jam packed in this book it’s a surprise that it flows so well! Absolutely action packed and in the inimitable style of Golden Czermak we could be watching a Tolkien film. With demons, werewolves, shifters and any number of other fantastical beasts from myth and fiction we are taken through this and other world’s with graceful prose. There are twists and turns a plenty keeping you gripped to the book and your seat! This is not just an action story though and you are drawn into the relationships too. Poor Joey has had a hard time in some of the other books and it’s unfortunately not getting better soon for him. The emotional onslaught throughout is immense and once again left me desperately waiting for the next installment.Looking forward to reading what comes next !

Golden Czermak just keeps getting better! I finished The Devil’s Highway this weekend and all I can say is WOW!!!! The rollercoaster continues. The Devil’s Highway is the fourth book in Golden’s six book Journeyman series. Once again we pick up where book three left off, so if you plan to read this series you must read them in order otherwise you will be completely lost. This installment takes to yet another mythical world that will be all too familiar yet still somewhat different. I don’t want to give too much away on that point but trust me it is so worth it to read. The detail put into this part of the story alone makes it worth reading. I truly cannot wait to see what is in store for books five and six, I’m sure it will involve more heartbreak/heartache and screaming at the author for said heartbreak/heartache.

So much epic action in this book! Buckle up and get ready!Bring him home...The emotional push and pull of seeing and gruesomely visualizing what was done to Joey, one can only hope he will recover, both in mind and body from his torturous experience. Him and Marcus just finding out how deeply they feel for each other from MTS, for it to be greatly tested in TDH, but not all is lost and much recovery will is in store. We get introduced to Ty where his relationship with his brother Marcus shows it's true colors. Their sibling relationship is noticeably strained and yet it doesn't have to be. Dajjal is still a bastard...that is all.Did I mention action? Another journey into another realm of lore that pulls you right in and BOOM epic battle of...frost giants, demons, and humans OH MY!
