laugh your way to learning!Love this book! I couldn't blame the author for sleeping very late. Reminds me of Pringles slogan "once you pop, you can't stop". Try to read first two chapters and you'll know what i mean. The price you pay is 0 compared to the value you get.

Being the owner of a small online store I set up last year, I’m always on the lookout for guides and advice that can help me grow my business and help it thrive into something that will help me sustain myself with its income. I saw this title and the phrase in the synopsis: “I don’t care if you couldn’t sell a life jacket to a drowning man.” Drew me in and I had to see what the book was truly offering. I have some experience in sales, mainly in the retail, but this book takes you way beyond that. Broken down into individual sections that break down all the aspects of online marketing and sales, this book is loaded with information that could easily overwhelm a new person to the world. One thing to remember would be: The author intended for this book to be used a s a step by step guide to help you work on your sales skills and improve your efficiency online over the course of about 81 days if you stick to his schedule. The information is multifaceted and thorough and I think if followed it will help me increase my sales. I think anyone would benefit from this book, novice and even experienced sales person as there is so much information provided that you would find something that is new, or maybe even only a tweak to your current routine that helps you become more efficient.

81 Days to Becoming an Online Marketing Machine by Kelvin Dorsey is a book designed to help entrepreneurs determine the best way to make sure that they are successful in what they are doing. The book is essentially a series of stories that highlight what is important about doing good business. The opening chapter focuses on the rivalry between Ford and GM in the beginning of the automotive boom. Both owners had strengths, but Ford had a strangle hold on the market and was slowly going to push GM out. Only by changing what they were doing was GM able to stay in the competition and eventually take some of the market away from Ford. Later on the author goes on to talk about things businesses do that cheats the customer. The highlight of this is that doing good business does not mean charging for everything but making the customer feel that they are being treated fairly and are getting a deal. The other chapters go on to discuss other things successful business people do to be able to grow their business and raise the sales. The book is written in a humorous fashion and not only teaches the lessons but helps to keep the reader interested in what is being discussed. Anyone interested in sales or learning about it will enjoy this book and the lessons that it includes.

Instead of having a lot of information on things that would be confusing for you to understand, this book breaks everything down into casual terms, or terms that anyone can identify with. In other words, it is written in plain English, and it is presented in a way that won’t make you roll your eyes or have them glaze over due to boredom. It includes a breakdown of 81 days, where a story is presented. These stories are designed to help you learn how to be a better marketer or salesperson, without having to take a bunch of notes or remember complicated steps. Simply think about what the story is trying to teach you and emulate it. While I don’t agree with everything he says, mainly because to me, at times, the language seems too familiar, it is nice to have an informative book that isn’t stuffy. It helped me think of some things differently and it can undoubtedly help others as well.

Kelvin Dorsey’s, “81 Days to Becoming an Online Marketing Sales Machine,” is basically a step-by-step guidebook to garnering efficiency online. The book is broken down to looking at different aspects of sales, such as different methods and different examples that show you how to replicate a similar process. There is a large chunk of insight from an individual who is very familiar with this market, so you are receiving knowledge from someone who has had hands on experience. It was a very easy book to read and Dorsey does a great job of making it feels like you are reading something from a friend that wants you to succeed. It is not set up in a way that it is full of complex terms that makes you feel incompetent, but rather enforces the idea that you can succeed in as little as 81 days after applying the measures that have been supplied in the book.

A great resource for sales and marketing the products. The book is organized quite well and you can get to any topic of interest, but if novice probably reading the whole book is a good idea. Well, it talks about sales and marketing as a whole with topics as content marketing, email writing, copywriting, time management and entrepreneurs area. The writer’s style is pleasantly unique filled with humor that just makes the content so much more interesting and easy to follow. All in all a helpful and informational asset, that can sit on your bookshelf and while you plan and execute your online marketing ideas, this book can be useful in providing just the right tips and tricks to boost your plans.

The contents found in this book are invaluable. You don't have to read it in one sitting. You can allocate a chapter per day. However, I'm warning you, once you've started you cannot stop. I love this book. And I am highly recommending it. Especially if you're contemplating on starting your own online business or if you already have one.You see, writing a good sales copy is essential for someone contemplating starting an e-Commerce business or if you're already at it. Truth bulletsGreat example of what a good marketer does best, sell himself. He mentions some good books on sales. Those you really need to read. Great read for some thinking about joining the professional ranks. Careful what you ask for, you just might get it. He calls online marketing what it is, work. Hip and a little crude but entertaining information.
