I never thought slate could ever win me. When he went home for his cousins wedding. I saw a side of him I couldn't resist I fell hard for him. Not even including is amazing good looks. Slate is a freaken God in the sheets and teddy bear during the day. I also love harper and her will to not give up and keep trying. I admire that in a woman.

Is it just me or are these Black Lilith guys getting hotter and hotter??I BETA Read this book - twice (couldn't help myself!), so that should tell you something. The way Harper and Slate meet is just fantastic, and if you've read All or Nothing you've got some sort of idea, but let me say that things don't always go to plan. The first few scenes are just delicious and funny and totally 'Harper & Slate'. You'll see.I was already 1/2 in love with Slate after the first two Black Lilith books, so its no surprise really that I'm now totally in love with him after his own book. I loved that we got to see a different side to him in this book and the HJ exposed that the fun-loving jovial, good-time, party-boy drummer is not all that makes up this man. This very talented, SAF, delicious man... Sorry, got distracted!Harper is smart, sassy, opinionated and I loved the way she becomes his biggest supporter almost immediately, but as their relationship develops, she is ready to push and challenge him as she sees fit. This makes for some explosive moments of chemistry, frustration and everything in between. There are time they bring out the best and the worst in each other - which rings true of most relationships. The scenes with all members of the band feel like you're hanging with old friends, and their dynamic just keeps getting better and better with the addition of new members to the entourage. The scene in the hallway with the girls and Logan is hilarious (as is the one prior to this) and will have you gob-smacked and laughing your ass off at the same time. If this book were a TV show, this would be a total 'water cooler discussion' the day after airing. Can't WAIT for Dash's book... it's always the cute quiet ones you've gotta watch! No doubt about it, I'm with the band. #LilithLover4Eva

This was so good!!I was hooked from the first chapter! When these two characters meet for the first time and she found out that Slate is her client?! Loved it! •I loved Harper & Slate from the start and I was so impatient for them to get together. But when they finally did it was so worth it! The writing just sucks you in and you can't help but keep reading. •I also really loved The Pretty Woman references in this book too. I definitely recommend this series and I seriously can not wait for Dash's story!!

You know that saying "nobody takes pictures of the drummer.." well if you've met Slate you'd think twice about that comment Harper is one lucky woman to have him as her client for a wedding he needs to have a date for. This man is sexy and just swoon worthy. I swear I keep saying that these Black Lilith men are all incredible because they are just when you think you know them we move into the next book and you find ways to love them even more then before. Mr matchmaker Slate is always helping out his boys but when it comes to himself things are a bit more complicated. I love the tuffie Harper is when it comes to exercise I was cracking up at times with scenes and comments that were made. This story is filled with love, sexiness and rock and roll. I am a full on Black Lilith fangirl without a doubt. This group is a beautifully knit family where they have each others back through think and then no matter what. We're even given a few more sneak peaks about Dash that have me dying to get to his story. Love love loved this book. Dash is next in book 4, I'm coming for you. This is my unbiased and voluntary review.

An enjoyable read I liked Harper and Slates story. Told in third person, my preference is normally dual pov so I would of liked the more personal thoughts and feelings you get from first person but I still enjoyed it. Harper is on her first job as an escort, a job she has taken to help pay her way through her study's. Slate is the drummer of The Black Lilith and hires an escort to be a fake girlfriend for a family wedding. Make Me is an interesting plot with likeable characters. I haven't read previous books and although this can be read as a standalone I didn’t think it gave to much away about the other characters and I would out of interest read the previous books. Make Me is a light and fun read leading to hea, no heavy dramas or angst, includes great main and secondary characters that I would love to read more about in the next book from the series. "Maybe we’re all much better at telling other people what they need than we are at understanding what we need."Oooh I love this book. I was so excited because this is Slate's book and I'm really curious about this guy. He's a cocky confident drummer, he's all about Drugs, Sex and Rock n Roll. He's the wild one in the band. He's the matchmaker but he's so clueless about having a real relationship. Yup he's just so adorable sometimes, although other times I wanted to slap and kick him for doing those stupid infuriating things. Love to get to know the other side of him in this book. I love him before and I love him more now.As for Harper. I totally admire this girl, she'll do anything to reach her goal, she won't give up. Definitely a perfect match for Stubborn Slate. I wanted to slap her though for suggesting stupid thing to Slate.Yup this couple really frustrating sometimes but really adorable. The banters always amazing, Black Lilith's boys always know how to make me laugh and the girls is full of love and friendship, it's like a big family. There's hotness too, well it's Slate's book, he's the king of flirting and all the ladies always line up for him, so yeah there's totally hotness here. And there's surprises here that's got me laugh and shocked. So yeah you better read this book. This book is pretty packed. I got angst, laugh and love.If you love Rock Romance with hot drummer and packed with emotions, this book is a MUST-READ for you.

I was pretty sure that this one was the best one. I liked it through the wedding and then it went oddly to her being a personal trainer for the group. To me it was fun to watch the wedding but the jump sort of disjointed the story for me. I really didn't feel warmth from either MC...no chemistry when she kept calling herself a whore???!! I know, right? So not my favorite.

Make Me (Black Lilith #3) by Hazel Jacobs offers an super intriguing point of view on the concept of Rockstar Romance. The writing style of this author is very refreshing and I enjoyed the book very much.It was my first by this author and I will surely keep an eye on the next book of this author. I did not read the first two books in that series and it seems I missed quite some good stories so far, because meeting the characters from the first books in “make me” surely shows off a wide range of well developed and interesting leads. But don’t worry you will be able to read this book as a standalone if you want to.═══ PLEASE SUBSCRIBE / LIKE / FOLLOW US ════FB Page : https://www.facebook.com/JerisBookAtticTwitter : https://twitter.com/JeriTRyanGoodreads : https://www.goodreads.com/user/show/2...Bloglovin : https://www.bloglovin.com/people/jeri...

I loved this story so much. I think with every new book in this series, I love the new band member I get to know more and more. Slate was no different. In the previous stories, Slate was a charmer, the matchmaker, and quite the womanizer. But what I didn't see coming and yet absolutely loved, was this new side to him. The sensitive and vulnerable side that was shown when he was around his family and Harper. It was such a change from what I was used to. And Harper was yet another unexpected gem in this series. I loved the similarities pointed out in their personalities. I loved that she was so kind and intuitive despite her job when she and Slate first meet. It was all pulled together so well. This was one of those stories that once I started it, I didn't want to put it down. I blew through it in a day and now I am left waiting for Dash's book.

Sigh, by now I think everyone knows the Black Lilith boys absolutely own me. Slate has intrigued me since book one because it essentially all started with him convincing Mikayla to come on board as a PA. He's always been portrayed as a cliched rocker; sex, drugs and rock n' roll. I always got the feeling there was more below his surface, and Hazel Jacobs just showed me that was true.Slate needs a wedding date, but with none of his friends able to attend he hires an escort. Lucky for him he gets Harper who is more than perfect for the job. These two have easy chemistry and fit together quite well. Unfortunately he's the client and she's just an escort. They can't possibly have real feelings for each other? This could never possibly work out, right? Read and find out :)I absolutely LOVE Harper and Slate together. Their chemistry was easy and I found myself smiling at so many of their moments. Things may have been pretty simplistic between them most of the time, but Slate manages to slip in some über romantic moments as well. Their romance is slow burn, but once they finally ignite it's an inferno. Their naughty bits are, HOT HOT HOT!Slate is way more than I ever expected. I honestly think he may be the sweetest member of BL. I loved getting to see his back story and where he came from and what makes him the Slate he is now. Harper was a fun addition to the story. She had personality without being over the top, and I loved how she was so willing to help Slate with things he didn't even think he needed help with. She fit in everywhere without sacrificing who she was. She had a mind of her own, but knew when to voice her opinion and when to hold her cards.Of course the rest of the band members and our previous heroines make their appearances. One thing I love about Hazel Jacobs writing is she is all inclusive. This story may not be about everyone else, but you still get just enough of them to feel like it's still their story as well. The Black Lilith boys and their lady loves are a family, and you feel that in the writing. Love it, such great writing!Loved this story and can't wait for book four. Sigh, finally my baby cakes Dash will get his story. This should be interesting :)ARC won in giveaway!

Make Me is the third book in the Black Lilith series and I fall harder in love with this band the more I read about them. Slate is the first member we meet in book one, but it isn’t until now that we learn his story. He’s the epitome of sex, drugs, and rock n’ roll. Unfortunately, his family doesn’t support his career choice. When he returns home for a family wedding and to not disappoint his parents, he hires an escort to be his date and pretend girlfriend. This is Harper’s first gig as an escort, choosing this job as a means to pay the bills as she gets through school. Slate and Harper have an immediate attraction to each other and although they are pretending to fool his family, their chemistry is undeniable. Slate may be a sex god, but he abides by his rule of not fooling around with his employees. As we know with the guys in this band, that mantra never lasts long. It takes some doing, but Slate finally realizes that Harper is the one for him. How jealous I am of Harper! I enjoy this author’s writing style so much, and I love how she continues to weave all the band members into the story, and the teasing and jokes between the characters have me laughing out loud. Very well done!

Hazel Jacobs had this way of making me react like the character in the last line of her books. Each one of the Black Lilith books could be taken as a standalone but you really get a feeling for the name's family vibe as each book complements the previous. I immediately had images of how this book would end given the initial premise, but Slate's name will be revealed, his home life is surprising and Harper manages to crack through everyone of his walls even at times when she feels like she's falling apart. These two are kindred spirits chance has brought together, but are they too alike in acting an expected way. Jacobs does an excellent job of playing off this idea.

Spunky N Sassy Rating: 4.5~~~~~~~~~~Tracy's ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review~~~~~~~~~~This series just keeps getting better and better. Slade needs a date for his cousin's wedding. After striking out with Mik and Sersh he knows he needs to do something, so he hires an escort. Harper Styles never thought her life would come to this but she doesn't see any other way so when she is offered a job as an escort she takes it. Little does she know that she going to be the girlfriend of the extremely hot rocker Slade. Sparks fly and games will be played, will this all end in heartbreak for Harper? I loved Harper and Slade's story. Hazel Jacobs has a way of developing her characters that allows for a slow burn, which I love. This series gets better with every book. I am excited for Dash's story and the woman who will tame his giant. LOL~~~~~~~~~~Lindsey's ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review~~~~~~~~~~This book had me weak in the knees and quivering for more! Amazing!

This book was amazing! Hazel Jacob's has the ability to hook you in right from the start! Her words come to life and it seems as though you are watching a movie right before your eyes. The way she describes Harper and Slate's first encounter, it felt so real, I was falling in love with them already! I loved their story and how they came to be together! And the references to Pretty Woman were just perfect! The sexual tension between Harper and Slate were of the charts!! The whole Black Lilith Band family is amazing! I loved everything about this book! This book had swooning, crying and laughing my head off! I highly recommend it! You have to read this! I'm looking forward to more from this series! Especially since the we got to know more about Dash!! Oh Dash! I think I'm in love with him. I cannot wait to read his story!!One click this charming drummer boy now!

I really love this band - they are a family and Hazel Jacobs' brings that out more and more with every book. If you read books 1 & 2 - You must read this one for the last line alone - Can't wait for book 4Slate, Black Lilith's bad boy drummer had a hand in getting his lead singer and bassist together with their girlfriends, but he is purely Sex, Drugs and Rock & Roll and loves his lifestyle too much to get serious, but when his estranged family expects him to show up for the wedding of his cousin, he has to find "girlfriend" material to go with him, after all showing up with a groupie will not do. Slate tries to get one of his band mates ladies to go, but everyone already made plans for their weekend off, so when a roadie hands him a business card of an Escort Service, Slate places his order.Harper a/k/a Tiffany is on her first assignment for the Escort Service she reluctantly goes to work for to pay off her mountain of student debts to become a professional trainer - Harper is told to go the American Airlines Lounge to meet the gentleman and that she will be attending a wedding with in Iowa. When Harper meets Slate, she has no idea that he is a drummer in a famous rock band, just some really hot guy who offers her a light for her cigarette (anxiety smoker) outside the airport Slate enjoys talking to this beautiful girl who has no idea who is and when she thinks she going to be late to meet her "client" she takes off into the airport - Slate asks her name and she give her real one. Of course when she goes to meet her client - Guess Who. Harper finds out that her Hot client will not sleep with her, he 1. doesn't ever pay for sex and 2. doesn't sleep with employees of the band (this goes back to book one) Harper does everything she can to try to change his mind - Knowing her heart isn't in to being as Escort, and opportunity to work for the band arises, that makes it still impossible to be with Slate ( see # 2) I LOVED Harper during the wedding weekend - she was awesome in dealing with Slate's snooty rich family that thought being "just a drummer" was beneath them. But (SPOILER ALERT)I had a hard time with how fast she forgave Slate for his little "show" on the dance floor in Las Vegas - I did understand that she was partially responsible for not saying exactly what she wanted from them as a couple but when he kissed the skank he was dry humping on the dance floor I kinda wished she would have decked him, my other issue is as the bands personal trainer how Slates' coke use isn't a major concern for her and lastly - his real name - it was made into a big deal that no one knew it but when he told her it was no big deal - but I get that because he told her was. - In spite of some minor editing issues this book was a really good additional to Black Lilith.

****Nic's Review!!****I received an ARC for my honest review. This is the third installment of the Black Lilith Series.Make Me, is about Harper and Slate. Slate is the drummer in the rock band and I was interested in reading this because I play drums. So here we go...Harper is your typical college student struggling to pay her bills and tuition. So she turns to an escort service to help with her troubles. So Harper's first job is to met this man at an airport to attend a family wedding. What she doesn't except is to run into this gorgeous man and hit it off really well. Then come to find out that it is her employer and the drummer of Black Lilith. She know absolutely nothing about this band and on the flight she does her research and begins her job as his girlfriend. Slate is hiring an escort. HA! Who would ever think man whore Slate would need to do that? He needs a proper girl to bring home to show his parents his life is more than the rock star life. When he meets Harper who he thinks is Tiffany at the time it is instant chemistry. Chemistry he has to fight throughout this whole trip. He will not sleep with the escort. How odd is this coming from Slate, the man whore? So now the true test and games begin. This is a good book. It kind of repeats itself at times but overall it is well written. Slate and Harper are well written characters. I love that you get more of the other characters as well. In this book you meet Slates parents and what makes Slate who he is and how he operates. You meet more new characters as well. I give 4 stars from me.

Book 3 of the Black Lilith Series Make Me and that it did. It made me fall for Slate just as much as I fell in love with Tommy. The story was about Slate, the drummer for the band Black Lilith and Harper who he hires to attend his family wedding but little does his family know Harper is an escort.....in the beginning. These two were completely perfect for each other Harper brought out the real person that Slate was hiding inside. The story was written so well I felt like I was an invited guest at the wedding, watching from a corner table, the love that was starting to ignite between these two hot and sexy people. I felt like I was in the front row at their concert and was hanging with the girls at the hotel. I usually find myself wanting to shake the female characters for being so stubborn but not this time. Slate has a secret that prevents him from completely opening up to any female until Harper starts chipping away at the layers and as she does Slate knows what he wants but it takes time and I could just shake him during his bouts of stubbornness. This book was love it was sensual it was hot and it was sexy. It gave us a sneak peak into Dash's secret that, if you ask me, I don't know how he hid for so long and with that i know his story will be just as exciting just as hot but I think a little more ..... read Make Me and find out. Bravo to you Hazel Jacobs on another delicious 5 star read. Thank You!

Wonderful!!I am in absolute love with this series, these men and of course these women. It's been a while since a series has grabbed me like this one where I can't wait for the next book. Make Me is wonderful! It's Slate's book and I could say it's been me favorite but honestly I think that with each book. Slate is one of those characters that you just can't get enough of. He's charming, hot and has a huge heart. When he has to go home for a family wedding he decides to hire a escort to go with him. Not wanting to deal with his family he feels this is his best option. What he didn't expect was to meet someone like Harper, someone who he flows with and make things easy. Harper is one of my favorite female characters that I've come across on a while. She is hilarious. She's one of those characters that when your reading you think this girl and I could be be friends. I could seriously see myself hanging out with her. She brings just as much to the book as Slate and that's refreshing to see. All in all I loved Make Me and I can't wait for Dash's book. Hazel brings us great stories with wonderful writing. This is a definite must read.

I hadn't read the other books in the Black Lilith series before this book, but I was pleased to see I didn't need to as this works great as a standalone book. We meet Harper, a student working towards becoming a Certified Personal trainer, who needs a second job to help pay for school. She signs up to become an escort. Her first assignment is Slate, the drummer for Black Lilith. Slate is drawn to Harper because she doesn't know who he, or his band is. He has hired her to be his girlfriend for his cousin's wedding back home in Iowa. Slate has made a rule that he will not sleep with someone he is paying, and that drives Harper mad. Jacobs does a great job of endearing us to not only the primary characters, but Slates family and bandmates. The book was good, fairly well written minus a few inconsistencies. Such as Harper spending half her life to become a personal trainer (which she is too young for this to be feasible), or Slate smelling of coffee when he had been drinking Red Bull and champagne, and a few poor word choices, but they were minor enough to be overlooked. Am looking forward to going back to the beginning in this series.

received arc for honest review reviewed on behalf for Amo and sarah's book corner.ah finally getting to read slate's book he is by far my favourite of the guys. this book is amazing every book in the series gets better this story centre's around harper who has just started working as an escort to help pay her way through college so her first job is to meet a stranger at the airport to pretend to be his girlfriend at a family wedding just to get his family off his back.what harper doesn't realise that he is slate the famous drummer from band black Lilith. they quickly fall for each other when after the weekend he hires her as the bands personal trainer cause that's what she is studying for at college. all in all a Cracking story which made me laugh out loud in some places and well well well who would have thought that dash the guitar player in the band would be such an animal that one scene had me blushing wow cannot wait to read his story something's telling me he is gonna be a filthy animal.

I received an ARC of this book in a giveaway and OMG what can I say to express firstly how much I have been enjoying this series and also how much I adored not only this book but the characters, Slate and Harper. This story delves into the man behind the sexy drummer where we get to know the real Slate. There are plenty of surprises, anxious scenes, heart warming moments, hilarious escapades and we also discover some BIG truths about one of the other characters. Hazel does it again by having the boys play a cover of a song that we all know and love that makes you immediately find it on your iPod and start singing it at the top of your lungs. I am not going to give you an overview of the story because I want you to one click this book the moment it is released and dive in head first and experience Slate and Harper. All I will say is if you weren't Team Slate before you will be after you read this book.

THIS IS WOW WORTHY!!By CARYN - Jan. 7 2017 Amazon Verified PurchaseOK now...just when I thought it couldn't get any better, I read book 3 and swoon over Slate!Slate hires a woman from an escort agency to pretend she is his girlfriend at his cousin's wedding. Harper Styles takes the job as her first in the business. Slate has never had a girlfriend or steady relationship, ever, so even though he is attracted to Harper he won't act on it.Harper is studying in her final year to be a personal trainer and when Slate and the others agree to hiring her, she accepts and becomes their personal trainer. This, of course, causes a bit of tension to Slate because he has made a personal promise to himself to "never sleep with a woman he signs a paycheque for. Will his resolve hold or will his resolve fold?
