Class is in session in this sexy comedy of manners from beloved romance author Gayle Kasper. Dr. Joel Benedict is a proper Bostonian, more likely to be caught daydreaming about sailboats than supermodels. He insists he doesn’t need to take the hospital’s Sex Talk seminar. Then he sees the temptress leading the class. Instantly enamored of the so-called sexpert, Joel soon feels a stirring passion he thought was long dead. Could she teach him to take the only chance that matters? Maggie Springer’s provocative seminars are all the rage, except with the prudish problem student who dismisses her course as psychobabble. She sets out to free Joel’s inhibitions, to break through his cool facade—but Maggie finds that Dr. Benedict’s bedside manner could make a lady blush. And if Maggie gets too close, her private lessons may ignite a desire she never expected in her wildest fantasies....

Tender, Loving Cure Reviews
Tender Loving Cure by Gayle Kasper 3 STARSThis story seam so familar. Then I realized its a Loveswept Classic and I had read it years ago. The fun thing about ebooks is that a lot old books you can get now and have room to store them.Margaret Springer is giving a seminar called Sex Talk at hospitals to Dr.'s sothey will be able to talk more at ease to their patients.Dr. Joel Benedict's partner signed him up for the course and he had no intentions of taking the course until he saw how pretty she was. Joel was interested in flirting with her not the class. After the first session he did not go back for the next but he took her to dinner to talk.Next day at hospital cafe Joel was their with his 16 daughter Kim eating lunchwhen Maggie was. She stopped by and Kim asked her over for dinner that night. Kim also wanted her to go out to their family farm and ride horses.Joel and Maggie fought their attraction even though Kim was throwing them together and enjoyed Maggie.Joel was being to strict with Kim from Kim & Maggie's point of view. Personaly I agree with Joel.Joel was a widower and raised Kim by himself since she was 10 years old.Joel and Maggie became lovers and thier was a lot of sex scenes in this story.Maggie was traveling all over for her seminars and that was hard to on relationship. Its okay romance not my favorite from Loveswept. I was given this ebook to read in exchange of honest review from Netgalley.10/10/2011 PUB Random House Publishing Group Imprint Loveswept
Tender Loving Cure was not what I was expecting. I thought that there would be more about Maggie's seminar titled "Sex Talk". Which, actually, would make a great seminar for doctors since a lot of them need to learn to communicate better with their patients. In any case, this book has the handsome and sexy doctor who falls for the sensual and brilliant psychologist/teacher. Both who are unwilling to let their guard down to love one another, each for their own reasons. Throw in a teenager and a big misunderstanding and you have all of the elements for a great romance. While I liked the book, it did feel a bit dated to me. The clothing descriptions and some of the references aged the story a bit. Despite that, I do recommend this throwback. It is the first by Ms. Kasper that I have read. It is a very quick read...give it a try!
