This book is amazing. You really feel for Georgie, Mony, and Keely Faye. You really get into the book--hating Magnolia Hewitt, being angry about the huge prejudices, sympathizing with Carter Fellowes because Georgie hates him so much. You are hit with shock when you find out Georgie's mysterious past and deep secrets. Laurel Stowe Brady creates suspense and really gets the reader involved.

I gave this three stars because I did NOT like the way it ended. I loved the beginning and the middle but when Dr. Fellowes left, I was deeply disappointed. I was hoping he would marry Georgie. Maybe I'll understand when I'm older that it was needed to help the story, but right now, I didn't understand it.

This is a young adult book that I'd easily recommend to any age. It's well-written and has some very unexpected plot twists along the way. It's the kind of book where you have to stop yourself from peeking ahead to see how it all turns out in the end.

Gets too preachy for me. It was hard to relax into this book. I ended up skimming . . . and I rarely skim.

I enjoyed this book - it was an easy read and a sweet story. It would be a good book for a 5th or 6th grader. The end was a little hokey and not too challenging, but I enjoyed it nonetheless.
