Great adventure by the very likeable Hiram Kane. I enjoyed the pace, the characters and the fabulous location of the Andes. Fans of Clive Cussler will love this story! Hiram is spurred on his quest for a 'lost city' by events from his past which gives insights to what drives him and the 'honourable' man that he is. Highly recommended and I enjoy Steven Moore's writing style!

I enjoyed The Samurai Code a lot, but this book has surpassed it! The thrilling adventures, the non stop action, the perfect historic descriptions combined with legend is a perfect mix, with the characters background witness their own perspectives, delusional or not is very well expressed! On the next release now!

Adventure in the jungle with family quests, Gold, ancient stories and a genuine nest of conspiracies in this attention holding story. The good, the bad, the ugly and a few who can't make up their minds.Looking forward to more from Steven.

Another great Hiram Kane adventure Moore has a way of telling a story that brings strange and wonderful characters to life in nonstop adventures. The story had adversity, treachery and loyalty on every page. The rape of the Inca culture by Spanish explorers lay behind much of the story, and the author made sure the reader was aware. The twists and turns were very imaginative, as new developments seemed to charge in with amazing regularity. The book is impossible to put down until the very end.

After reading The Samurai Code expectations of this book were high and the author does not let you down.A slower start which fills in a lot of the missing pieces from the first book and then full on adventure and action.Hard to put down and read it in just two sittings as I couldn't wait to see what happened to Hiram and Sonco.
