My son got this book with his Kids meal at Chick-fil-A
We have this entire series of books and they are by FAR the most read books on our shelves. Noble still reads them and I know he has read them 100 times or more!
Thirty-one questions about time and seasons are asked and answered in this book. An index provides a great way for readers to look up topics of interest without reading the book from cover to cover. The colorful illustrations aid in understanding the text.Review: When you look at a sunrise, do you wonder and ask why it's appearing at a certain time? Are you curious about why we have seasons? How can you tell time without a clock? This book is filled with questions and answers about sunlight, time and seasons. The author, Brenda Walpole, gives easy-to-understand explanations to describe what is happening and why. I recommend to this book to anyone who wants to learn more the science of sunlight, time, and seasons. But be warned, you'll be left with more questions! You'll be ready to start your own search for other scientific explanations about what you see happening all around you.
This book is very informational, it talks about the sun and the moon, night and day, time, seasons, and the earth. It has many colorful pictures and fun facts throughout it. It explains, in simple terms, how the earth rotates around the sun and how that affects time, day and night, and the seasons.I enjoyed reading this book to my son, it helped me explain why the it's sunny during the day and dark at night. Even though he doesn't completly understand how it all works it is a great tool to refer to when he asks these types of questions.
This is personal.
